  1. Al final, que vimos? Boba Fett o The Mandalorian 2.5? // In the end, what did we see? Boba Fett or The Mandalorian 2.5?@javyeslava.photo1595d

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

Last week the series of the famous bounty hunter Boba Fett came to an end with chapter seven. Within the Star Wars universe there are infinite characters to which they could perfectly make a series or a movie but I thought that they have decided for Boba after his appearance in previous seasons of The Mandalorian was super successful because we are facing a character that is not so mediatic but within the history of the saga if you have an interesting story.

What happened with this series, in my opinion? - Well, many people came with very high expectations because of everything that Mando offered us and when they started to enjoy Boba's adventures they were not satisfied, fortunately this was not my case. From the first episode I knew it was not going to be the same because I assumed that they had to give us context of how, after having fallen into the bowels of that creature in the desert, he had survived to become what he was; which they did and it was quite enjoyable.

Briefly, who is Boba Fett? - a bounty hunter who full of revenge for the death of Jango Fett decides to take the Jedi as enemies. Seeing that his plan did not work, since he could not kill Windu, he was imprisoned and paradoxically gained reputation throughout the galaxy. The Empire is formed and that is when Boba begins to work for Jabba the Hutt to later be under the orders of Varth Vader.

He was responsible for freezing Han Solo in carbonite so that Boba is a good person, not so. On Tatooine there is a battle between Luke and his allies to rescue Solo and that is where Boba Fett falls into a "sarlcc" but survives. From that moment until the end of this series the story is the known.

Of the seven chapters of the series at least the first 3 or 4, I don't remember exactly, are a bit introspective as they take us to how Boba recovers his form and his abilities to be under the care of the Tusken, this tribe that lives in the desert. We see how Boba is creating a relationship with them which inevitably makes that in many parts the story slows down the pace but the interest is not lost, why? - Well, because the plot goes in two timelines and that characteristic in the series is one of the most striking to me.

Boba Fett continued in his thing with a story that spoke to us of wars, alliances and above all of much context to understand the amount of things that were happening, all that until chapter five arrives, chapter that changes ALL the series. It was the first chapter where Boba does not appear even for a minute and which curiously is the best rated of the entire series. Din Djarin makes an appearance in an episode that was very good but it was not enough to overshadow what the series had been offering.

Already if we talk about chapter 6 is talking about an ode to the Star Wars universe (If you haven't seen the series I think it's impossible that by now you haven't seen what characters appear). Seeing Luke, Ashoka, Grogu, Cad Bane and Mando himself in one chapter is probably one of the best things I've seen lately concerning Star Wars. But then, this was good? - For one the fan yes, no doubt but for the development of the series or the plot it was presenting, I don't know. And I don't know because I think that all the attention that the main character of the series had is completely lost, to the point that he ceases to be the protagonist and because clearly everything was a preview of what will be the third season of The Mandalorian, they showed us the way.

    Source!

From these chapters onwards, there was no more talk about Boba Fett, the character, and the truth is that it was an overwhelming phenomenon because for several moments I felt like I was watching another series. The one where you saw a Boba battling with his memories and making deals with everyone had been forgotten so that in the day to day conversation was the endless theories about Luke with Grogu or the next step that Din Djarin was going to take.

The Book of Boba Fett?

In general terms the series seemed to me one of the best things that have been done and Jon Favreau is a total genius, the level of references throughout ALL the chapters is impressive and that is something that lovers of the franchise are grateful for. So to answer my initial question what you have to ask yourself is the following, once the series is over, what are you talking about, what did The Book of Boba Fett leave you with?

    Source!

If the answers to those questions revolve around Mando or any other character, it is very likely that you think that what we saw was more of a sneak peek of what is to come with The Mandalorian. Personally, I do believe that what we saw was a The Mandalorian 2.5 and I liked Boba Fett's story, I don't want to say that I didn't enjoy it but it is true that at the end of the series there were many characters with stories that totally overshadowed our bounty hunter, it is something inevitable.

The level of attachment of the people towards Din Djarin is impressive, or is it towards Grogu, well either way they are characters that captivated the fans and that every time they are seen together they will touch a fiber that is very difficult to hide. I would have liked more depth with Boba Fett but it was not like that, I repeat it was not a bad series but I missed more depth than what was done in the first episodes. A solid 8/10 because if you are a Star Wars fan it is impossible not to like it even though Boba is not your favorite character.

You will respect Boba Fett 🌌

Star Wars tv shows are enabling longtime fans like myself to dive even deeper into the stories within the Star Wars universe. Disney bought Star Wars back in 2012 and we are really starting to see what all of the extra funding is capable of doing. I was initially worried that Star Wars was going to go the route of being only for kids, but it is perfect for all ages.

The Book of Boba Fett was the second non-animated Star Wars show to come out in recent years. The first was The Mandalorian, which became wildly popular. I knew that Boba Fett was going to be great as well, but I really had no idea what to expect.

The Book of Boba Fett consists of flashbacks to Boba Fett's most difficult times in his life. It comes back to the present time and gives us a close look at Boba Fett's new role as Daimyo of Tatooine. He may no longer be a bounty hunter, but he still is capable of being a dangerous fellow.

    Daltono Seperator.png

The first episode of season one starts with a flashback to Boba Fett narrowly escaping a Sarlacc pit on Tatooine and losing his armor to a group of Jawas. He should be dead but somehow manages to survive. He is defenseless and at his worst.

The flashbacks are continued throughout each following episode. Boba Fett is captured by Tusken raiders, which are known to be some of the most ruthless beings on Tatooine. He is treated as a prisoner since the Tuskens aren't sure who he is.

Boba Fett manages to begin to form an odd bond with one of the Tuskens. They start training with each other and gradually Boba Fett is brought into the Tusken family. Most would succumb to the heat of Tatooine, but Boba Fett is far too strong for that.

Boba Fett gets to opportunity to prove himself to Tuskens when one of the many deadly creatures of Tatooine arrives to wreak havoc on their encampment. Although Boba Fett is still without his armor, he manages to do the impossible. He reminded me of Kratos from God of War in this scene.

The Tuskens cannot help but respect Boba Fett after he basically saves them. He regains his freedom and begins to go on a search for his armor. He has no plans of leaving the Tuskens since he considers them his new family.

Like I mentioned before, there are multiple timelines going on at once, all during the same lifetime though. Each episode goes back and forth between the past and present. During present times, Boba Fett has just taken Jaba's throne and serves as the new Daimyo of Tatooine.

Boba Fett believes he must rule with respect instead of fear. This is made abundantly clear when Boba spares two Gamorrean Guards and adds them to his small team consisting of only he and master assassin Fennec Shand. You will find out how the two of them became a powerful duo in a later episode that does another flashback.

The reason arises for Boba Fett to assemble greater numbers of people on his team. Tatooine doesn't respect him like they did Jaba, so there are many after his new throne. Boba and Fennec begin to gather more squad members. There is a lack of jobs around town, so it is easy to find capable people willing to join and assist.

One of the most badass characters arrives and causes some problems for Boba and his friends. Black Krrsantan is a massive Wookie who was a champion gladiator. He is feared by many and poses a massive threat to Boba and the gang. A series of events unfold and luckily it seems that Krrsantan will be a recurring character.

If you haven't watched all of The Mandalorian, then you may not expect to find him appearing in The Book of Boba Fett. I highly recommend watching seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian before starting the Book of Boba Fett. They are connected in some pretty big ways. Of course, if you are as big of a Star Wars fan as I am, then you probably have already done this. Later episodes cross with The Mandalorian in a big way. I don't want to spoil anything, but there are a lot of very familiar faces appearing in The Book of Boba Fett and I'm sure there is more to come by the time Season 1 ends.

The Book of Boba Fett is a must-watch for any Star Wars fan. The show is simply too good to miss. It sticks to the formula that Star Wars films follow and gives us much more lore to enjoy. The Mandalorian and Boba Fett are both fantastic tv shows. Be on the lookout for a post about my thoughts on The Mandalorian in a few weeks. I still need to finish Season 2, I'm halfway done now. I didn't realize the shows were going to be interwoven like this, otherwise, I wouldn't have started The Book of Boba Fett until after I finished Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Catch the trailer for The Book of Boba Fett below.

  3. The Book of Boba Fett (2022) review: The problem with Star Wars.@richardalexis1599d

After my initial Review of The Book of Boba Fett I decided to put it aside for a couple of weeks, I had (relatively) enjoyed its first episode but the Disney Plus and Star Wars project didn't have enough fire behind it to keep me hooked.

Sometimes we sin, we make quick judgments and end up falling into silly prejudices, so I felt it was quite appropriate to give the series a chance again, being a little less bitter and willing to appreciate everything it has to offer. . So let's go.

    book-boba-fett-fotogramas-1625772737.jpg Source

Being the second live action series of Star Wars within the Disney platform, it is quite logical that our expectations were through the roof considering that we came from the impeccable The Mandalorian, unfortunately, these same expectations end up shaping the final result in The Book of Boba Fett , a quite entertaining series but that does little or nothing to take advantage of the Star Wars universe.

Not everything is negative, Jon Favreau gives us a couple of great moments, plays with the chronological structure of each episode in interesting ways and after a fairly decaffeinated first chapter we have a great visual style (Not innovative, I make it clear).

Coming into spoiler territory, while it's great that we got a chance to reconnect with characters like Mando, Grogu, or Luke, at the same time it could be argued that all of these connections to classic and not-so-classic elements of the franchise just work in to the detriment of the series we're looking at, as if it doesn't have confidence in itself, in its ability to tell a good story that works totally disconnected from the Mandalorian or the Skywalker trilogy.

    grogu-decision-the-book-of-boba-fett-final.jpg Source

I know that sounds a bit contradictory to what I said before, but projects like Visions have managed to get the most out of Star Wars lore without having to appeal to its more mainstream elements.

Everything works objectively well, it would be pedantic to try to argue otherwise... but I feel that as fans of Star Wars we should not settle for so little.

    star-wars-the-mandalorian-din-djarin-boba-fett.jpg Source

The Book Of Boba Fett works best when it has all its focus on telling a simple but richly detailed story, the second episode, for example, contains a well-executed subplot where Boba tries to teach the Tusken warriors speeders.

I like everything that happened but sometimes I feel that everything could have been a little fresher, less formulaic.

So yes, I'm still a little bit bitter

When you look for information online, the critics think the series is bad, however it has an 85 percent acceptance rate by the public. I think a lot of the people currently doing reviews are not old enough or have enough background on the stories they're talking about. Star Wars itself is a metaverse, and while it's not from my generation, I'm a fan. Many people don't even know that Star Wars is inspired by Dune, and even find this multiverse boring. I think all this is great, but to analyze any product you have to do at least a little research. I feel that simply saying that we don't like something is not enough. Having respect for all those people who worked to bring the movie or series to life is important. I call for empathy and respect. Saying what you feel or think does not have to be offensive to the other person. There are thousands of nice ways to say things.

Going into context, I remind you a little of the story of Boba Fett. This is a human bounty hunter, and the clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. Boba was created by the clone troopers on Kamino and was physically identical to the clone troopers created for the Grand Army of the Republic. Contrary to them, Boba was unchanged and did not grow rapidly like the other clones. He was raised by Jango as his son and learned the combat skills necessary to become a bounty hunter. During the Galactic Civil War, Boba worked for Jabba the Hutt. After the Battle of Hoth, he and other bounty hunters were called in by Darth Vader to locate Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon. Boba fulfilled Vader's command, and brought Han Solo frozen in carbonite to Tatooine, to receive Jabba's bounty for his capture. The Alliance to Restore the Republic organizes the rescue of Han Solo on Tatooine. It is here that the Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon takes place. Boba fought off the rebel rescuers, and was accidentally pushed into a sarlacc by Han Solo. This is the starting point for The Book of Boba Fett series.

    #### Boba and Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002)

I hope this long introduction to the series will help you understand a little more where this story fits. Also say that there is a crossover between The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian, which I will be talking about in the next post. I recommend watching the second season of The Mandalorian and then watching The Book of Boba Fett. I wish you a good weekend, I read you in the comments.

Although I do not consider it ideal to talk about a television series when there are only a couple of chapters released (Yes, I do it from time to time) I feel that it is an interesting opportunity to analyze its start and how it progressively evolves.

    [Source](https://atomix.vg/aqui-el-nuevo-teaser-de-the-book-of-boba-fett/)

In the desolate desert that is the Disney Plus catalog (at least when we compare it with other streaming services such as Netflix or HBO Max), it seems that it is based solely on the Marvel and Star Wars series, I personally do not complain It takes away a bit of versatility from the experience, of course, but it has changed we have received a couple of very interesting projects that would not have been developed otherwise.

The Book Of Boba Fett is very particular because it derives from the success of other series such as The Mandalorian but at the same time it tries something very different, although at first it is not so obvious.

    [Source](https://hipertextual.com/2021/12/teaser-el-libro-de-boba-fett-en-disney)

Beyond the elements that we all expect (The constant references and the use of lore from Star Wars to build a new story) the Boba Fett series is presented with a much more “low-key” style, leaving aside the bombastic and elegant that characterized Favreau's space western in favor of a much more artisanal vibes reminiscent of the original trilogy.

In narrative terms there is not much to say, it is a simple story with a lot of potential that takes its time to settle down and that knows how to extend what we know of one of the most adored characters in the entire franchise, the hand of Robert Rodríguez in the direction gives it a unique flavor and we appreciate the presence of recurring producers like Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni to bring consistency to the whole thing.

Maybe right off the bat it doesn't equal Din Djarin and Grogu's adventure but the only thing we can do for now is give it a try.

    [Source](https://atomix.vg/aqui-el-nuevo-teaser-de-the-book-of-boba-fett/)

    [Source](https://hipertextual.com/2021/12/teaser-el-libro-de-boba-fett-en-disney)
