About ten years ago this series was released for three seasons. At the time I refused to watch it. I didn't feel like it. I was going through a very difficult time, with many personal problems and although I tried to watch it several times, I couldn't get past the first few minutes of the episode.
It stayed in the trunk of the pending series. I heard about the second season and even read a news about the third one, but I was so busy with other series and movies that I forgot about it. A few days ago I went through the list of pending series. None of them appealed to me, I didn't feel like it at all, I was about to close the file with the list, when I came across The Leftovers. I felt that something was pushing me to decide to watch it. It was the feeling that I had to watch it.
Thank goodness I followed my instinct or that energy that led me to finally watch this series. I'm already at the beginning of the second season. I'm also grateful to see it ten years later. If I had at the time, it might not have made much of an impact on me. A lot has changed and I think I really needed to watch it now, in the present day.

The character I liked the most is Nora Durts, as she lost her entire family and is part of the bureaucratic apparatus to give reparations to the families of those who left. Kevin's wife had me very intrigued, until the first episode of the first season, when we discovered her motives for joining the cult. The character I found somewhat inconsistent in her development is Meg. But the way she's played by Liv Tyler, I don't mind.
The second season expands with new characters and a new town called Milagro and a shocking start. I'm blown away by this series that I'm sure many haven't seen.

El personaje que me pareció algo inconsistente en su desarrollo es Meg. Pero tal y como está interpretada por Liv Tyler, no me importa. .
La segunda temporada se expande con nuevos personajes y un nuevo pueblo llamado Milagro y un comienzo impactante. Me está dejando alucinado esta serie que seguro que muchos no han visto.
