Hello friends, I'm here with another interesting movie titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage and I would like to share with you.

The movie is about when Eddie Brock tries to revive his failing career by interviewing a serial killer, Cletus Kasady, who is on death row. When Carnage gains control over Cletus's body, he escapes from the prison.

It begins In 1996, a young Cletus kasady watches helplessly as his lover, Frances Barrison is taken away from St. Estes Home for Unwanted Children to the Raven croft institute.

On the way, Frances uses her sonic scream powers to attack young police officer Patrick mulligan. Mulligan shoots Frances in the eye and suffers an injury to his ear due to her scream.

Unbeknownst to Mulligan, who believes he killed her, she is still taken to Raven croft where her abilities are restricted.

In the present day, Mulligan is now a detective and asks journalist Eddie Brock to speak to serial killer Cletus in San Quentin state prison, as Cletus refuses to talk to anyone apart from Eddie.

After the visit, Eddie's alien symbiote venom deduces where Cletus has hidden the bodies of his victims, which gives Eddie a considerable career boost.

Eddie is contacted by his ex-fiancée, who tells him that she is now engaged to Dr. Dan Lewis, to Venom's displeasure.

Meanwhile, Cletus, who has been found guilty of his crimes and sentenced to death by lethal injection, invites Eddie to attend his execution.

Eddie speaks with Cletus, who insults Eddie, provoking Venom to attack Cletus. Cletus bites Eddie's hand and ingests a small part of the symbiote.

Back home, Venom has an argument with Eddie about wanting more freedom to eat criminals, and the symbiote decides to leave Eddie's body and go off on its own.

As Cletus's execution begins, a red symbiote emerges and blocks the injection. Named Carnage, it goes on a violent rampage through the prison, freeing inmates and killing guards.

Carnage agrees to help Cletus break Frances out of Raven croft in exchange for Cletus's help eliminating Eddie and Venom.

Mulligan visits Eddie at home and warns him about the situation. At Raven croft, Cletus frees Frances, and they travel to the St. Estes children's home to burn it down.

Mulligan grows suspicious of Eddie and arrests him. Eddie contacts Anne as his lawyer and reveals that Venom has separated from him.

As Venom makes his way through San Francisco by hopping from body to body, Anne finds him bonded to Mrs. Chen and convinces him to forgive Eddie.

Find out what happened next as Anne finds venom and convinces him to forgive Eddie as it gets more fascinating.

    Thanks for reading my content.

I recently saw the movie "Venom 2: There will be slaughter". As expected, it follows the same line as the first installment, a film that completely distances itself from the character's sinister appearance and personality, a peculiarity that has made him popular among Spider-Man fans. Here there is no reference to the origin of the symbiote that appears in the comics and again the characterization of a hero is assigned. From my perspective, this film is basically intended to be entertainment with no more ambition than to mix humor and action, elements that, at times, are crazy and even meaningless.

I consider that the personification of Carnage is not very credible, he is an antagonist that does not cause great fear, here the fault lies with the script because the essence of the original character is not transmitted on screen. Carnage is one of the most feared and ruthless villains within the Spider-Man universe, however, this image is not honored here. The final battle is resolved in a very simple way, Venom prevails without much problem, the outcome happens very quickly compared to the development of the plots. Most of the time is between existential dilemmas, Eddie trying to convince Venom not to do harm, while the symbiote wants to kill, feed on people with evil inclinations.

Tom Hardy returns to the character of Eddie Brock and gave an excellent performance, it is noted that he enjoys what he does and transmits it on screen. In this feature film, Eddie and Venom continue to try to have a more cordial coexistence, but the arguments, fights and screams reach the point of boredom, until they drag the story towards a plot of absurd and lunatic comedy. For his part, the interpretation of veteran actor Woody Harrelson, as Cletus Kasady, is quite good, he looks completely disturbed, which confers quite a lot of credibility, although, as I indicated before, the construction of his character reduces his strength. It is true that the rights to Spider-Man and his universe do not yet belong to the Marvel studios and for this reason their executives do not participate in the production, but Sony's creatives, especially the screenwriter Kelly Marcel, apparently never read the comics and dedicated to creating a kind of free version for a very limited audience.

As with "Spider-Man 3", Venom's potential as a villain is wasted and beyond that he is presented as a parody of the original. In this saga, although the characters from the comic are appealed to, there is not even a reference to how the extraterrestrial symbiote acquired the powers that it later transmitted to Brock and Kasady, precisely what represents the point of support of the films. That disrespect for Spider-Man fans sentenced Sam Raimi's work and it is surprising that in just over a decade the mistake of presenting Venom as something it is not is repeated. Again the expectations created vanished in moments.

On the other hand, a very particular character that is exhibited in the film is Naomie Harris, Kasady's girlfriend, since there was never any mention of her mutant powers and how she was admitted to an insane asylum. The insertion of this character is intended to show that the villain has feelings, a characteristic that makes him vulnerable like any human being, even when a symbiote potentiates his evil side and transforms him into a powerful entity. Michelle Williams' performance is a comparsa. His innocent and clueless participation is very similar to what he did in the first film, although it can be said that here he has a slightly more relevant role. She along with her fiancé help Venom defeat Carnage.

"Venom 2" disappoints because the recent "Spider-Man" films, the saga starring Tom Holland, have turned out to be interesting proposals as they are an attempt to revitalize the franchise. But none of this is transmitted to "Venom 2", a delivery lacking in consistency and credibility with respect to its references. The plot is absurd and repetitive in these superhero movies. Once again, Sony returns to take a Marvel character that has a lot of potential and goes wrong.

  3. [ESP/ENG] Crítica a VENOM: CARNAGE LIBERADO/ VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE Review.@sangoro971639d

. . Venom: Let There be Carnage is the sequel to the 2018 Marvel antihero/villain Venom's solo movie, being directed by Andy Serkis, renowned actor who has been part of franchises such as The Lord of the Rings and Planet of the Apes using the motion capture animation technique. Tom Hardy returns in the role of Eddie Brock, living this time a crisis with his "partner", Venom, while they must face the serial killer Cletus Kasady, now turned into the villain Carnage, while resolving their differences.

The visual section is the most remarkable of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, characterized by very detailed special effects in terms of the creation of the characters of Venom and Carnage, as well as the action scenes throughout the film and the way they are directed, achieving very entertaining moments to watch.

Although the script is dynamic and manages to create a good chemistry between the characters (especially between Eddie and Venom), due to the tone chosen for the film, in this case very light and comic, Let There Be Carnage falls very short in terms of what it proposes, having characters that demanded scenes with more violence and that in this film are scarce or are very demure. Likewise, the film does not opt for a specific type of humor, having at times a very dark and twisted one but most of the time being very childish and simple.

Despite a strong ensemble cast including Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson, their performances vary between believable and overacted, especially Harrelson as Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage has the same intentions as its predecessor: to be a light film to have a good laugh, although it feels and feels like it could give much more. It's an ideal movie to have fun with, as well as at the end it holds a few surprises for fans of the Spider-Man franchise, to which Venom belongs.

  4. Venom 2 non spoiler review@herosik1658d

    Venom ENG.jpg

In the end, after a long wait (as far as I remember, the film was supposed to hit the cinema much earlier. I remember well that it was supposed to debut six months or a year earlier?), We got a sequel to the first part, which made very good money. The budget was $ 100-120 million, and he earned 856 (or, on a slight count, 500 million pure profit). Sequel had a similar budget, reportedly 110 million, and at the moment (11/27/2021) has earned 456 million, or about 200-230 million net profit. Let me add that "Venom 2" is still airing in cinemas, so it will probably reach 100 or 200 million more. The first part suffered from a similar problem to David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" - it was originally planned as a completely different movie, but at one point the concept was changed, what had already been recorded was re-edited and other changes were made. While in the case of Ayera's film it was extremely painful, because there was a potential for a great production, as shown by the "sequel" from James Gunn, it was less disturbing here - after all, few expected good entertainment from him. At least from what I've seen.

    V2.jpg

    V1.jpg

Both pictures earned good money, but the effect was different - the SS killed the brand by deceiving viewers, and "Venom" won the public's recognition. It was something "new" in the context of repetitive, mass and typical for a corporation products. Those that are to earn as much money as possible, be as universal as possible and flattened to the level of a total average audience. I don't blame them, they found a good way to make a lot of money, people loved them (I once did too), but a fool wouldn't milk a cow that produces golden milk. I can, however, criticize them for mass-producing movies like burgers. Did I say "Venom" is new? Well, I lied, it's a reversion to the old pre-X-Men formula by Bryan Singer. Such a journey back to the times when films of this genre were not always too serious and did not earn that much money. We can argue, because the 3 parts of "X-Men" and the "Spiderman" trilogy by Sam Raimi also made a lot of money, but on the other hand, there was no fashion for these movies and looking at the profits, the MCU made more. True, the producers also tried to cash in on non-comic book fans, but could not find the golden formula - that is, they had a problem similar to that which the creators of Japanese cartoon adaptations are currently suffering from. Therefore, I am calm about the upcoming adaptations, they will eventually succeed, and the rest will probably follow their example (such as in the case of "The Boys", "Invincible" etc. which were created largely thanks to Marvel and less DC productions).

    V3.jpg

    V4.jpg

Eh, again I wrote too long an introduction ... Well, like I said, I was waiting for this movie. Not so much, because I knew it would be a garbage picture, for which it is not worth having too high expectations, because it is easy to be disappointed. And it's good that I didn't expect too much, because I was disappointed. Before the screening, it seemed to me that I would not be bothered by the fact that Carnage will only appear in this one part, but unfortunately during the course I had to agree with my colleague that Sony wasted the potential on an interesting thread on the basis of which this universe could be built. Not that there was potential for something comparable to, say, Marvel (despite my many complaints, this is one of the things they really did), but it could have been made something better. I don't know comics, and I only know Carnage from the FoxKids cartoon, the game "Maximum Carnage" and a few comic stills, but after what I saw in this film, I saw the potential for at least one more production. By the way, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the creators adapted some of the plots from the comics pretty well. For example, Carnage is the "son" of Venom. In fact, they're not exactly the same as in the comic books (as I know from some YT channels that have covered comics featuring Carnage), but for my ignorant eye, they turned out pretty ok.

    V5.jpg

I don't have much to write about the plot, effects and actors. In each of these cases, it was average, at best. I liked Tom Hardy moderately in the earlier film, including ... Well, in my opinion, he played poorly. It was better in the case of Michelle Pfeiffer, but this is mainly due to the relationship between her and Venom. Okay, I exaggerated - apart from some of the fragments in which she played as poorly as Hardy, she did really well and it was nice to watch her on the screen. Woody Harrelson played well, but got far too little airtime. I enjoyed his relationship with the symbiote very much, it's a shame they got so little time for each other. Fortunately, I can't say the same about the relationship between Eddy and his symbiote - their conversations, arguments, chickens talk, friendship etc. they turned out great! If part 3 is made, I'd love to see more of them. The rest of the actors ... They just were. Apart from Shriek, which stood out a bit above the rest. Her relationship with the criminal was more or less what I imagined after playing "Maximum Carnage." Overall, the sequel has the vibe of some decades-old junk action movies like Venom 1, but it's done noticeably better. Special effects ... Well, they already look very cheap and I suspect that in a few years I'll be laughing with him, like from kitschy movies from 2 decades ago. Kind of like "Batman Forever".

    V6.jpg

As I wrote in the first paragraph, the previous section had a problem. She couldn't decide whether to be a poor horror movie or thriller or a comedy. For the sequel, they avoided this problem, but it didn't make us get a much better movie. Yes, he was a bit better, but I wouldn't remember him enough. On the contrary, I will probably forget about it, rather quickly. The first part was worse in all respects, but at least I could imagine it would have been much better if it had been done consistently from start to finish. Here I don't have to use my imagination anymore because they did, but ... The effect is very unsatisfactory. True, I had fun during the screening (unlike "Aquaman 1"), but right after the screening I had the same impressions as after the DC movie - I forgot about it immediately. As if I had just eaten a nice burger, which was not bad, but not tasty enough for me to eat it again. I rate it on 6/10 - it's a good position to watch with friends for beer or vodka, possibly with a girlfriend (because there are some funny situations where you can laugh together), but nothing else. If it wasn't for the relationship between people and the Symbiotes, it would be bad. A wasted idea that could have squeezed a lot more out of it.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage 2021 - An super good action and comedy movie. Worth watching.

**Hello everybody. If you keep wondering what happens when a psychopath who receives supernatural powers, the movie Venom 2 will answer this question. A Marvel film production, quite captivating.** **A very good sequel, actually better than the first part of this film production. I really liked it, full action, spectacular special effects, fantastic humor and good performances. Honestly from the present trailers, i didn't really expect it to be such a spectacular film, but out of curiosity i offered it a chance and i wasn't disappointed at all. From my point of view, it is a Marvel film production, which deserves that precious time given to watch it.** **The action of the film begins shortly after the events of the first film, when Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom, learned to survive together. A visit to Eddie's prison takes him in front of the serial killer Cletus (Woody Harrelson) and from here, due to a small incident, Cletus will also become the host of a symbiote, transforming into Carnage, a much more powerful creature than Venom.**

The film tells a rather captivating fantasy story of the two symbiotes. An epic story of life and death, where Eddie, Venom and the world around them are simply victims. All the best to everyone.

  6. 🎥Review - Venom: Let There Be Carnage. 2 [ESP/ENG]🎥@neiraurdaneta1678d

    image.png

Hello friends, today I want to tell you about one of the most anticipated antiheroes since his first Venom movie came out, where he delighted us with his way of seeing things and the complicated but great relationship with Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), we waited 3 years for him to This new movie came out from Marvel Studios and Sony with all the doubts and setbacks that there were to get this movie forward, finally today I had the opportunity to see it and here are my impressions.

    Bad points:

From my point of view they did not know or did not want to take advantage of the character of Carnage, for what they do not know the character from the comics they will find cool the way they presented him in the film, when Carnage is a strong, violent character and a Villain in capital letters. Sony lost the opportunity to present him for what he was, to present a light film and not fall into too violent scenes.

Not wanting to introduce Carnege's character, they focused and abused in my opinion the chemistry between Eddí and Venom with jokes, making it a comedy at times, using the same safe formula of the first part.

It lacked many more action scenes and what could have been a great film played it safe, which at times entertains but does not make an unforgettable film.

    Positive points:

The interpretation of Tom Hardy as Eddí, makes us truly believe that he has a person within him, the chemistry with the Venom character is unique that makes us laugh, shows us a true but dysfunctional friendship that works for both of us.

Harrelson's performances with Tom Hardy, who like Tom with Venom, was excellent, which gave life to the film at times, especially the fight between them is great.

The post-credit scene was the best of the whole movie, because it shows us that there will be spider-verse at some point and who knows if Venom arrives at UMC in No way Home.

My conclusion, in Venom is, that although the script was missing and left many gaps and questions in the plot of the main characters, you can see it, but without expecting great things, it is entertaining because they went for sure, Sony Pictures He is not interested in exploiting the venom-verse of symbiotes in depth.

If I had to rate I would give them a 5 out of 10 just for the masterful performances of Tom, Venom, Harrelson and the final scene for its special effects and fighting.

  7. [Movie review] [Eng - Esp] Venom: Let There Be Carnage | Another superhero movie@jrjaime1679d
Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you for making a temporary stop in my post, if you have been following me for a while you will know that I am not very fond of movies and in general everything that has to do with superheroes since all in synthesis tend to be the same. same. For this reason, films that have an antihero as the main character are usually more attractive since they present more crudeness, more realistic characters and problems, which is why we will talk about Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Without further ado, prepare your symbiotes since we are about to start.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage was released this year, directed by Andy Serkis and produced by Columbia Pictures, with a duration of 1 hour and 37 minutes. The film gives direct continuity to its predecessor with all the consequences that the confrontation of the first film brought, coupled with these problems is added the fact that Kasady, a serial murderer who is in prison who wants Eddy to publish a story of him in order to give him information about his victims, but everything changes when he decides to do things his way, which will bring many inconveniences.

The characters are simply boring since none of them have a motivation or any compelling reason to do anything, at best they are reduced to a joke. That is why I will limit myself to naming them and saying some characteristic of them: Eddie Brock and Venom seem like a troubled marriage, Anne Weying and Dan Lewis, the first is Eddie's ex-fiancée and the second is the girl's current fiancé, simply bored , Cletus Kasady and Carnage are the simple villains in the movie who are bad just because.

Although the soundtrack is not bad if you feel that it lacks personality and epicity, it does not feel that strength that it should have in important moments, these being quite flat and boring in this regard.

The construction of the world is totally non-existent since at no time is more explored about Venom or any other conflict besides his need to eat brains, the rest everything feels monotonous and lacks expansion, I will tell you that if they had put Carnage As a villain in the first film, the difference would not have been noticed since he has a null background that really characterizes him and anchors him to the tape.

The plot also presents serious problems since it is simply limited to presenting a typical villain with an empty and rather stupid desire for revenge, there is no objective in the film other than the protagonists to indirectly create Carnage and later flee from it. Before someone screams in the sky I'll say it, yes, the movie has funny moments but the joke that Venom wants to eat everyone is repetitive and let's be honest from the first moment it is not so funny. The action scenes can be counted on the fingers of one hand and are mostly performed by the villain, the protagonist being very little active in general.

As I previously established, the characters are very uninteresting since they are limited to making jokes without any kind of ambition on their part, the most relevant thing they do is the senseless massacres that at least give some action to the matter but outside of it all the characters are extremely monotonous and meaningless.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is simply a disgrace, a perfect representative of how the film market is saturated with superheroes and does not give importance to telling a good story or even setting a goal to follow, it is limited to giving one that another action scene performed by flat and boring characters. For all this it deserves a rating of 2 stars out of 7, one of the best exponents that can be used to show that no matter how bad the superhero movie is today it has almost guaranteed box office success for simply trying superheroes in Yes.

  8. Venom 2 trailer my commentary / Trailer do Venoma 2 mój komentarz@herosik1790d

    vvvv.webp

We got the second trailer for the movie "Venom". The effects are a bit better (or so it seems to me after this scene in the church - in the previous announcement she looked unappealingly weak, and here quite enjoyable), and the new scenes give hope that this time this movie will not stand apart between a pseudo-serious production (those scenes from a corporation, a laboratory where absolutely nothing happened and you could cut them in half for the benefit of the film), and a good junk comedy. They give hope, because I have some concerns about Shriek - the scenes with her participation remind me of those failed elements from the 1st part that I wrote about earlier. As for the rest ... I'm delighted. Marvel and DC have dominated the superhero movie market too much, and I miss those junk comic book adaptations from my youth - a mix of Batman Forever and Ghost Rider. If Sony does not try to go into pseudo-ambitious productions, but instead focuses on rubbish entertainment cinema, they have a chance to achieve success. From what I can see from what I say on the internet and in conversations with my friends, many of us would like to see comedies like "Deadpool" or "Venom" more often. Eddy and the space slime look just cute, I'm sure every interaction will be pure fun. The actor playing Carnage looks pretty good and fits my image of that character from the game "Maximum Carnage" that I played on Super Nintendo. His "combat version" reminds me more of the iconic Villaan from Marvel comics and I hope that when I see the movie in the cinema or on streaming TV, all my doubts will disappear. I will definitely review this movie.

Dostaliśmy drugi trailer do filmu "Venom".

    Let There Be Carnage

I have been looking forward to this for a long time and although I haven't seen the actual movie yet, I am honestly excited to watch it.

From the trailer it looks like Tom Hardy completes yet another stellar performance as Eddie Brock A.K.A /Venom in what appears to be a carnage filled sequel.

Eddie lands himself back in Ravenscroft where he has to take on his deadliest foe yet, played by Woody Harrelson who is sentenced to death by lethal Injection the baddy from Venom one

    image.png

    Combined Action and Comedy

The comedy and humor is second to none for this type of movie, we have seen similar in recent Spidey flicks, but Tom Hardy brings his own kind of British humor, which for some can be a hard task to balance. I believe from what I can see from the trailer he might have got this just right.

    Theatre Release Only

I believe it is only going to be released in movie theatre in REAL D, 3D and IMAX you can find out more at http://www.venom.movie #venom however there might have been some leaks.

  10. ENG/POL Venom 2 trailer - my commentary / Trailer Venom 2 - mój komentarz@herosik1874d

And finally we got the first trailer of the second part of "Venom". I don't know about you, but I liked the first installment. Despite many mistakes, a leaky scenario, and this whole mess in general, it was pleasant to watch, like a good, rubbish movie from the VHS era. I was captivated by the account of Tom Hardy and his parasite. Surprisingly, apparently this one came out by accident and was not in the creators' initial plans (at least that's what I read, I don't know if it's true). The trailer itself does not show much, it only suggests that they went more into comedy tones, doing something like their "Deadpool", but with a different sense of humor than we saw in the above-mentioned production or "Shazama" from DC. Super hero cinema needs more of this type of production. Carnage's character makes me sad. While I liked the actor in the end (in the post-credits scene I didn't rate him too positively) and I feel the potential for a good interpretation of Carnage, which I love at first sight, it doesn't really remind me of its comic book prototype. It is too fat in my opinion, the original was skinnier, like a character from LoLa or DotA that focuses on agility rather than strength. Probably it is also influenced by the fact that in the first part we saw such a pseudo-Carnage. If that model had been more refined, it would have been a great Carnage. And so we got a worse version of it. However, I hope they will improve this design by the time of its premiere. The film has the potential for something good and if this time it avoids the mistakes of its predecessor + they refine the script, there is a chance that we will get entertainment pleasant for the eye and soul.

No i w końcu dostaliśmy pierwszy trailer drugiej części "Venoma". Smuci mnie postać Carnage'a.
