Secret Invasion is a Mini Series I had in mind watching, I got no clue if this is an adaptation of the story or not but I thought it might be entertaining, its probably just me that love to watch all this stories but sometimes feels like slowly building a library in my mind of all this TV series, I was a bit skeptical to watch Secret Invasion since rating on score sites like RTT and IMDB are not that high with scores of 6/10 or less, for me this is just the first episode and found it entertaining enough, very cinematic, most actors are already known to the MCU but I'm not sure if people were expecting a show stopper, I remember making a short post of the trailer when it came out, most of this trailers look like an actual MCU movie so may be that's why people were expecting so much of it. To be honest from all the Marvel Studios TV series there are very few banger, there is Loki, Moon Knight, Daredevil and then you can argue if any of the others are hits for me I can include WandaVision just because I really like her devilish style but the rest were No Bueno. Marvel Studios probably have thousands of projects to work with and not all with be hits, they know they also have a very large loyal amount of fans so as long as Movies stay blockbusters TV Series can take a few hits here and there.

Secret Invasion is the story of Gravik, Nick Fury and Talos. Nick Fury comes back to Earth from S.A.B.E.R the international space station project he is working on because rumors of a Skrull secret rebellion has spread, his old Skrull friend Talos welcomes him back and confirm that after he was gone things have change and that Gravik another Skrull Nick was related too and feels some what responsible for everything that is happening so he has come back down to earth to make things right and take care of this suppose Skrull rebellion, mix into all this events is Talos daughter G'iah who is on Gravik's side.

From the trailers I know that the earth is flooded with Skrulls to the point that agents can't trust each other, imagine a world like this were you just don't know who is human or not, you will never know if you are giving the information to the enemy directly, that's exactly what happens at first between Agent Prescod who is paranoid about the threat from this new Skrull movement by Gravik, there are rumors that a bomb attack is going to happen, Agent Evertt Ross who for the most part has been on Fury's and Avengers side, told Prescod he needs evidence and will bring it to Fury end up been another Skrull playing the double agent game, kills Prescod after he found out.

I was watching this scene a couple of times trying to find out how Prescod figure out Ross was a Skrull, some other times its very evident but this time it didn't seem, it would be great if there was a real reason why he figure this out, all Ross said "I will give this information to Fury" I don't see how that is a detonator unless because he already said Fury was in space, but he could send the files or a report.

Before I continue I have to ask WHAT THE FUCK is this, was Fury at a lan party, is he playing new CS2? he shows up with, exit what is suppose to be some sort of space ship with a couple of gaming chairs in the back?

Former Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Maria Hill welcomes Fury back to earth, Talos and Maria give evidence and details to Fury of Gravik's plan. Talos talks to Fury because a lot have change starting with him, after The Blip, that's when Thanos make disappear half of the universe population including Fury; Fury was not the same and then went into space leaving a lot of people behind including Skrulls that have been working with humans thats when Talos got kicked of the Council, G'iah went MIA and now Gravik took control creating a sort of regime to protect their own behind a feeling of abandon and revenge against Fury and humans.

The moment Fury sets foot into the Earth everyone starts talking about it, at the White House and now MI6, Sonya Falsworth did a mini kidnap on Fury for a private meeting, they try to get information from each other but no luck, for sure she is more aware of whats really happening but seems that she only wanted to look at Fury and see if he is really the man he use to be, everyone keeps saying after the Blip he change but no one so far said how did he change, he does look old, even Sonya tells him straight to his face that he is out of shape probably meaning she knows he can deal with Gravik but not on his current shape.

G'iah, Talos daughter is working at Gravik's camp a place they call Skrullos; she brings in new members but also manage other tasks that require someone loyal and that is up to it like buying bombs from another Skrull, behind whats going on this shows the possible amount of Skrulls in the world, how is it that Gravik the one who runs the show for Skrulls on Earth has to buy his bombs from another Skrull?

Maria and Talos caught G'iah in the act, she was transporting the bombs, Talos chase her to a moment when they stop and have a talk, they havent seen each other in a long time, I feel that G'iah join Gravik because she believes in his cause of making Earth a place for Skrulls but if humans wont accept them for what they are then they will claim Earth by force, in this conversation Talos had with his daughter he manager soft her up and help them stop the bombing, this shows that G'iah still loves his father and is on the good guys side but it was not that easy, Gravik knew this could happen and had plans for it.

Even with G'iah helping Fury and Talos they had no chance against Gravik. Along the episode while Fury was talking a walk he was watching people on the street, one time went into a bar with Maria and talk to local Russian guy, during the bombing Gravik change into all this different persons meaning he was watching Fury all the time, he knew where he was, who he was with and probably next to him. Everyone starts running after three bombs detonate and Gravik takes Fury shape to shoot Maria Hill, real Fury shows up too late to only grap Maria on his arms and watch her die after Gravik shoot her.

I have to say this episode was not bad, it was a solid 7, very entertaining, we already know most of the actors and they deliver, the pace of the story look fine to me and this was just the usual first episode to show each main character of the season or in this case the mini series.

Mini series, a concept that some times is hard to develop when you have a story that could bring in a lot of details, I always bring the example of the last Ant Man movie how I thought they would exploit more the Quantum Realm but they didn't so the movie falls short, at least for now Secret Invasion doesn't feel crunch and vague, also I have notice that people including myself think they watching a season to latter on discover it was JUST a mini series and you wont know anything else about it when its done that can upset the audience too, I mention this because it could be a reason why people were expecting more out of this mini series.

The Earth is full of Skrulls no doubt and Gravik control most of them, its such a vast power to know when and where are your enemies all the time, Gravik has Skrulls secret agents that not even the Skrulls in the compound know who their real identities are, such an inception, you can be a Skrull thinking that you are out smarting the human next to you when it could also be another Skrull, we still early and a lot to develop, only six episodes that is starting to be a new format but I can say so far so good.

When a film is bad, but you still keep watching it, because, well, it's pure masochism, or the desire to see how the plot will end, has it ever happened to you?

Cuando una película es mala, pero aun asi te quedas viéndola, porque bueno, será masoquismo puro, o las ganas de ver como terminará esa trama sin sentido, ¿les ha pasado?

Let's see, we have a woman who wants to protect her daughter, from her enemies, they show you a mother willing to do anything, to confront those she once trusted, but today they only want to destroy her, and take away the only person that really matters to her, but wait, this woman, she thinks she's RAMBO, nobody can beat her, she destroys everyone, in such an absurd way, that you are left, like, "that's it ", well yes, something like that.

It's been a long time since I've seen a film as bad as this one, and fans of this actress will excuse me, there's no doubt that she's very good, I've seen several films, but without a doubt, she's better at comedy or drama, but action, that's not her thing, or maybe it was the plot of this film, which lacked more detail, development, better editing, since there were scenes that felt too fake, when it comes to action, one expects better development, blood, fights, more movement, but here we do not see any of this.

Jennifer Lopez, plays a former marine, a professional killer, who is forced to hide and leave her daughter, so that her enemies, do not find her, however, all this is in vain, since these criminals, manage to kidnap her, it is here where, this indestructible woman, will face them, to save and protect her mother.

Veamos, tenemos a una mujer que desea proteger a su hija, de sus enemigos, te muestran a una madre dispuesta a todo, a enfrentarse a aquellos en los que alguna vez confió, pero que hoy en día solo desean destruirla, y arrebatarle la única persona que realmente le importa, pero esperen, esta mujer, se cree RAMBO, nadie puede con ella, a todos los destruye, de una forma tan absurda, que tú quedas, como que, "eso es todo", pues si, algo asi.

Hace mucho no veía una película tan, pero tan mala como esta, y me van a disculpar los fans de esta actriz, no cabe duda que es muy buena, yo he visto varias películas, pero sin duda, a ella le queda mejor las de comedia o de tal caso de drama, pero de acción, que va no es lo suyo, o quizás fue la trama de esta película, que le falto más detalle, desarrollo, mejor edición, puesto que había escenas que se notaban demasiado falsas, cuando se trata de acción, uno espera mejor desenvolvimiento, sangre, peleas, mayor movimiento, pero que va, aquí no vemos nada de esto.

Jennifer López, interpreta a una ex marine, una asesina profesional, que se ve obligada a esconderse y dejar a su hija, para que sus enemigos, no la encuentren, sin embargo, todo esto es en vano, puesto que dichos criminales, logran raptarla, es aquí donde, esta mujer indestructible, se enfrentaran a ellos, para salvar y proteger a su progenitora.

There is no doubt that it had good scenes, some of action, but also, too many weak scenes, without sense, and repetitive, this story lacked more development, and credibility, in my opinion, I confess that there was a moment, in which I no longer wanted to continue watching it, but as I said, for masochism, I wanted to finish it, somehow to give you my opinion, about this film, since some time ago, many shared their review about it, and some found it good, somewhat entertaining.

For me personally, I didn't find it entertaining at all, too boring, without context, maybe because I'm used to see films with more action, and although this one had it, the action didn't convince me at all, JLo without a scratch, the easy and fast way, how she destroyed her enemies, that little connection on screen with her supposed daughter, definitely, I don't know what they were thinking when they made this film.

No cabe duda, que tuvo buenas escenas, algunas de acción, pero también, demasiadas escenas flojas, sin sentido, y repetitivas, a esta historia le falto más desarrollo, y credibilidad, a mi parecer, confieso que hubo un momento, en el que ya no quería seguir viéndola, pero como dije, por masoquismo será, quise terminarla, de alguna manera para poder darles mi opinión, sobre esta película, ya que hace un tiempo, muchos compartieron su reseña sobre la misma, y algunos les pareció buena, algo entretenida.

A mí en lo personal, no me pareció nada entretenida, demasiado aburrida, sin contexto, quizás porque estoy acostumbrada a ver películas con mayor acción, y aunque esta la tuvo, dicha acción no me convenció para nada, JLo sin ningún rasguño, la forma tan fácil y rápida, como destruía a sus enemigos, esa poca conexión en pantalla con su supuesta hija, definitivamente, no sé en qué estaban pensando cuando hicieron este film.

This is the first review, in which I talk so bad about a movie, but I can't help it my friends, I was quite disappointed and I definitely don't recommend it, because as I already mentioned, it's not even entertaining enough to keep you there watching it.

Jlo better continue as a singer, because as an actress, she is still lacking, and she has several movies, and I don't deny it, the comedy ones, are the only ones that I half liked a little bit, and one in particular that I really liked, that I do recommend, was Never Again, where she played a woman victim of domestic violence, is one of the few stories that she has starred in, that is definitely worth watching.

Esta es la primera reseña, en la que hablo tan mal de una película, pero es que no puedo evitarlo mis amigos, quede bastante decepcionada y definitivamente, no se las recomiendo, porque como ya les mencione, ni siquiera es lo suficientemente entretenida, para mantenerte allí viéndola.

Jlo mejor que siga como cantante, porque como actriz, aún le falta, y eso que lleva varias películas, y no les niego, las de comedia, son las únicas que medio me han gustado un poco, y una en particular que me gusto mucho, que si se las recomiendo, fue Nunca Mas, donde interpreto a una mujer víctima de violencia domestica, es una de las pocas historias que ha protagonizado, que sin duda vale la pena mirar.

¡Hola amigos! En el día de hoy les quiero compartir la reseña de una película que es un estreno reciente de Netflix, se llama Nowhere.

Nowhere sigue la historia de una pareja española que decide escapar de su país que se encuentra atravesando una crisis muy grande de abastecimiento y como parte de las medidas extremas impuestas por un gobierno totalitario se decidió acabar con la vida de los ancianos, las mujeres embarazadas y los niños.

Nowhere follows the story of a Spanish couple who decide to escape from their country which is going through a major supply crisis and as part of the extreme measures imposed by a totalitarian government decided to end the lives of the elderly, pregnant women and children.

Mía está embarazada y es por ello que con su esposo, Nico, toman la decisión de huir hacía Irlanda que es el único país europeo que se opone a este régimen. Ellos son transportados en un contenedor junto con otras personas de manera ilegal. Pero en un punto del camino son separados y Nico le promete a Mía que la va a encontrar cuando lleguen a su destino.

Mia is pregnant and so she and her husband, Nico, decide to flee to Ireland, the only European country that opposes this regime. They are transported in a container along with other people illegally. But at one point along the way they are separated and Nico promises Mia that he will find her when they reach their destination.

Al pasar por un puesto de control, un militar descubre que el vehículo transporta personas y decide acabar con sus vidas, pero Mía logra sobrevivir porque se escondió. A pesar de esto, el contenedor llega a su destino, que es un puerto que alberga otros miles de contenedores con personas adentro que esperan ser transportados en un barco.

While passing through a checkpoint, a military man discovers that the vehicle is transporting people and decides to kill them, but Mia manages to survive because she hid. Me encontré con esta película por casualidad, ya que quería ver algo distinto, logré mi cometido pero la pase fatal en el proceso. Lo digo porque esta película no me dio ni un segundo de paz, estuve en un estado de tensión constante, así que si sufren de los nervios no la miren. Aunque, al estar todo el tiempo pasando algo no podía despegar la vista de la pantalla. Desde el inicio empieza fuerte y sigue así hasta el final. Sabe muy bien como mantenerte atenta.

I came across this movie by chance, because I wanted to see something different, I achieved my goal but I had a terrible time in the process. I say this because this movie did not give me a second of peace, I was in a constant state of tension, so if you suffer from nerves do not watch it. Although, since there was something going on all the time I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. From the beginning it starts off strong and stays that way until the end. It knows very well how to keep your attention.

Me gustan este tipo de películas donde la trama consiste en sobrevivir a una catástrofe. Vi varias de este estilo y todas son muy impactantes. Pero esta es muy cruda por momentos, tiene escenas muy fuertes, ya con el simple hecho de saber que no les importa matar niños es suficiente. Sin embargo, creo que la trama no es novedosa en sí, quizá todo lo que la envuelve, pero después el hecho de estar a la deriva en el mar intentando sobrevivir ya se vio en otras películas y también hay varios casos en la vida real.

I like this kind of movies where the plot consists of surviving a catastrophe. I saw several of this style and all of them are very shocking. But this one is very raw at times, it has very strong scenes, just knowing that they don't mind killing children is enough. However, I think the plot itself is not new, maybe everything that surrounds it, but then the fact of being adrift at sea trying to survive has already been seen in other movies and there are also several cases in real life.

Me atrae ver cómo se activa el instinto de supervivencia en las personas que están pasando por momentos extremos. Creo que Mía tenía todas las fichas para rendirse, pero era admirable ver todo lo que logró y cómo se las ingenio para proteger a su bebé. Ese fue su principal pilar, cuidar a su bebé como toda una madre leona. Fue bastante impactante su actuar en varios momentos. Quiero destacar la actuación de la actriz Anna Castillo, realmente se lució en su papel. Se cargó al hombro la película, estuvo impecable.

It appeals to me to see how the survival instinct kicks in when people are going through extreme times. I think Mia had all the chips to give up, but it was admirable to see how much she accomplished and how she managed to protect her baby. That was her main pillar, taking care of her baby like a mother lioness. It was quite shocking her acting in several moments. I want to highlight the performance of actress Anna Castillo, she really excelled in her role. She carried the film on her shoulder, she was impeccable.

Si me dejó llevar por la primera impresión, debo decir que es una película excelente. Pero la verdad es que quitando lo impactante de la historia y la buena actuación de Anna, la trama tuvo mucha inconsistencia y agujeros en ella.

If I was carried away by the first impression, I must say that it is an excellent movie. But the truth is that apart from the impact of the story and Anna's good performance, the plot had a lot of inconsistency and holes in it.

Primero porque no se llega a conocer el motivo por el que los países europeos están en esa crisis y se tomaron esas medidas. Sentí que esto quedó en la nada, como si hubiera sido la excusa para hacer que la protagonista termine en el lugar que terminó y allí empezar su odisea, si bien esta comienza desde antes. Al no tener una argumentación sólida, este hecho queda en el olvido, lo que no debería porque es la causa principal que llevó a estás personas a huir de su país en busca de un lugar seguro.

I felt that this was left in the nothingness, as if it had been the excuse to make the protagonist end up in the place she ended up and start her odyssey, although it starts before. Not having a solid argumentation, this fact is forgotten, which should not be because it is the main cause that led these people to flee their country in search of a safe place.

Y segundo porque no le encontré sentido a algunas cosas que pasaron, sentí que quedaron en el aire, como que no tenían ni pies ni cabeza. No soy una experta en el tema, pero a mí me parece que si un contenedor, que encima lleva carga, cae al océano, la inundación es inminente. Pero puede que no sea tan así. De hecho, otros contenedores que transportaban más personas se hundieron enseguida. Siguiendo con esta línea de pensamientos, tampoco me explicó cómo el contenedor de Mía llego a su destino habiendo sido descubierto, hubiera quedado retenido o algo similar. También está el hecho de que Mía tuvo varios golpes en su panza mientras estaba embarazada, pero no le ocurrió nada al bebé, y hubo un momento curioso con una ballena que puede ser significativo, pero a la vez quedó como raro.

Fuera de esto, la película es muy conmovedora. Hubo escenas muy realistas que me asombraron bastante. La verdad es que me gustó verla, pero no se la recomendaría a todo el mundo. Después de terminarla quedé un poco alterada, me hizo sentir mucha tensión. Pero, definitivamente, si te gustan las películas de supervivencia tenes que ver esta.

Other than that, the film is very moving. There were some very realistic scenes that were quite astonishing to me. I enjoyed watching it, but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. After finishing it I was a bit upset, it made me feel a lot of tension. But, definitely, if you like survival movies you have to see this one.

Ha comenzado un nuevo mes de octubre y eso significa que por cuarto año consecutivo en mi blog es el momento de celebrar lo que he llamado... "HIVELLOWEEN"; en este mes haré solamente reseñas de producciones que estén relacionadas con el género del terror; en especial me enfocaré en películas estrenadas en este año, posiblemente alguno que otro "clásico" del género y películas que he visto, pero que no he reseñado; para dar comienzo a esta iniciativa (personal) decidí reseñar un film estrenado hace muy poco en streaming y que ha causado cierto impacto en el público por la característica de poseer pocos diálogos.

A new month of October has begun and that means that for the fourth consecutive year in my blog it's time to celebrate what I have called.... "HIVELLOWEEN"; this month I will only review productions that are related to the horror genre; especially I will focus on films released this year, possibly some other "classic" of the genre and films that I have seen, but have not reviewed; to start this initiative (personal) I decided to review a film released very recently in streaming and that has caused some impact on the public by the characteristic of having little dialogue.

"No One Will Save You" es un film que entra en el género del "Home Invasion", terror y de ciencia ficción y que relata la historia de "Brynn", una chica que vive sola después del recién fallecimiento de su madre; ella vive en una casa en el bosque muy alejada del pueblo y de las personas que habitan en ese lugar, el cual por alguna razón no se llevan muy bien con Brynn; una noche, sucesos extraños comienzan a suceder, ruidos indescifrables, golpes y es que un intruso que no es de este mundo ha irrumpido en su hogar y eso hará que Brynn desde su soledad, deba enfrentar a una gran amenaza para poder sobrevivir.

"No One Will Save You" is a film that falls into the genre of Home Invasion, horror and science fiction and tells the story of "Brynn", a girl who lives alone after the recent death of her mother; she lives in a house in the woods far away from the town and the people who live in that place, which for some reason do not get along very well with Brynn; One night, strange events begin to happen, indecipherable noises, blows and is that an intruder who is not of this world has broken into his home and that will make Brynn from his solitude, must face a great threat to survive.

Esta película es dirigida y escrita por Brian Duffield el cual he visto varias producciones en dónde cumple el rol de guionista, películas que me han gustado; también he visto su estreno como director en el film "Spontaneous" y en esta oportunidad (su segunda vez como director), hace un film corto, directo con una característica principal que es considerada por muchas personas como algo positivo, pero creo que para otras personas puede afectar el relato. Me gusta que Duffield enseña en que posición está el personaje principal, la soledad del hogar y de Brynn es fundamental para esta historia y es que este personaje no sabe si tiene la oportunidad de pedir ayuda o de si alguien la querrá escuchar; con respecto a las escenas de tensión o suspenso, dire que son correctas aunque me hubiera gustado ver más terror, un simple uso del "Jump Scare" hubiera quedado muy bien.

La premisa de ser un film con muy poco diálogo es en mi opinión una acertada práctica, aunque hay momentos en que me causó risa porque me hizo recordar a la serie británica "Mr. Bean"; pero en función de la historia de la protagonista es lo mejor porque hay un elemento importante en el pasado de Brynn lo cual le hace tener esa actitud de alejamiento en el lugar en donde habita; la soledad es un tema fundamental en este film, la protagonista es temerosa, retraída, infeliz; todo eso causado por la soledad y en mi opinión eso percibe aún más cuando existe un gran problema de comunicación. Personalmente, defiendo que el film sea de esta manera, pero estoy convencido de que en el acto final se pudo desarrollar mejor, tener una conclusión más impactante.

This film is directed and written by Brian Duffield who I have seen several productions where he plays the role of screenwriter, films that I have liked; I have also seen his debut as director in the film "Spontaneous" and in this opportunity (his second time as director), he makes a short, direct film with a main characteristic that is considered by many people as something positive, but I think that for other people it can affect the story. I like that Duffield shows in what position is the main character, the loneliness of the home and Brynn is fundamental for this story and this character does not know if she has the opportunity to ask for help or if anyone will listen to her; regarding the scenes of tension or suspense, I will say that they are correct although I would have liked to see more terror, a simple use of "Jump Scare" would have been very good.

The premise of being a film with very little dialogue is in my opinion a wise practice, although there are times when it caused me to laugh because it reminded me of the British series "Mr. Bean". But in terms of the story of the protagonist it is the best because there is an important element in Brynn's past which makes her have this attitude of estrangement in the place where she lives; loneliness is a fundamental theme in this film, the protagonist is fearful, withdrawn, unhappy; all this caused by loneliness and in my opinion that is perceived even more when there is a big problem of communication. Personally, I defend the film in this way, but I am convinced that in the final act it could have been better developed, to have a more impacting conclusion.

Todo en la película es relatado desde el punto de vista del personaje de "Brynn" Interpretado por Kaitlyn Dever; creo que hace un buen trabajo al usar tanto su rostro, sus gestos como vía para interpretar sus sentimientos, sus alegrías, añoranzas, miedos y por supuesto su soledad; también nos enseñan su convicción y sus ganas de sobrevivir, algo muy importante en este género porque siempre la protagonista debe demostrar fuerza para enfrentar a su enemigo. Brynn tiene todo para ser considerada una víctima, su rostro inocente y más que nada su soledad le hace ver vulnerable, pero desde un primer momento se demuestra que no es el tipo de protagonista que se espera en este tipo de films, creo que eso es lo que más me ha gustado en esta producción.

Everything in the film is told from the point of view of the character of "Brynn" Played by Kaitlyn Dever; I think she does a good job using both her face, her gestures as a way to interpret her feelings, her joys, longings, fears and of course her loneliness; we are also shown her conviction and her will to survive, something very important in this genre because always the protagonist must show strength to face her enemy. Brynn has everything to be considered a victim, her innocent face and more than anything her loneliness makes her look vulnerable, but from the first moment it is shown that she is not the type of protagonist that is expected in this type of films, I think that's what I liked the most in this production.

"No One Will Save You" es de esas películas que no pensaba ver, creo que más que nada porque no tenía ningún conocimiento de esta producción hasta su aparición de manera abrupta en las redes sociales, pero nuevamente soy impulsado o motivado por las opiniones positivas hacia un film aunque trato de siempre tener expectativas bajas y en esta oportunidad me ayudó a disfrutar de esta historia. Personalmente, encontré muchas cosas positivas, uno es el humor y es que estoy convencido de la influencia en series cómicas en dónde el diálogo está ausente y solo se escucha murmullos o simples y rápidos sonidos, también existe influencia en series antológicas como por ejemplo "The Twilight Zone" o "Black Mirror" y es que es imposible no pensar en alguna de esas producciones al ver este film, creo que por eso ha presentado una alta aceptación en el público que pueda estar en la comodidad de su hogar y disfrutar de una simple historia de terror y ciencia ficción. Esta película no es perfecta, pero es entretenida y me sentí satisfecho, aunque sé que pudo ser mejor, creo que esa repetida característica de no saber cómo terminar una historia es lo que siempre resta puntos en estas producciones de streaming.

No One Will Save You is one of those movies that I did not plan to see, I think mostly because I had no knowledge of this production until its abrupt appearance in social networks, but again I am driven or motivated by the positive opinions towards a film although I always try to have low expectations and this time it helped me to enjoy this story. Personally, I found many positive things, one is the humor and I am convinced of the influence in comic series where the dialogue is absent and you only hear murmurs or simple and quick sounds, there is also influence in anthology series such as "The Twilight Zone" or "Black Mirror" and it is impossible not to think of any of those productions when watching this film, I think that is why it has presented a high acceptance in the public that can be in the comfort of your home and enjoy a simple story of horror and science fiction. This film is not perfect, but it is entertaining and I felt satisfied, although I know it could have been better, I think that repeated characteristic of not knowing how to end a story is what always subtracts points in these streaming productions.

Yellowstone, is the name of this captivating series, where each episode seems like a movie, with unique scenes and events, with flashbacks to the past, showing a before and after, of what has been the life of this family, in these lands, being their only goal to protect it and maintain control at any cost.

The series follows Jhon Dutton, who is the patriarch and leader of this family, played by the great actor Kevin Costner, the owner and proprietor of the largest ranch in the United States; therefore he will face numerous challenges, while dealing with land development, the federal government, Native American tribes, among others who wish to acquire some form of this property.

The plot is based on the internal and external struggles of the Dutton family as they attempt to maintain their legacy, but above all to protect their land from increasing commercial, political and economic pressures. The series covers a range of issues, including family loyalty, corruption, ambition and even violence in a wild, rural setting.

This series captivated me from the first chapter, the way of life of these ranchers, so wild, full of violence, reminded me a little of the last series I saw with this style, "Major or Kingstown ", but of course, it was to be expected, since it is directed by the same director, Taylor Sheridan, so you could not expect less of this.

Esta serie me cautivo desde el primer capítulo, la forma de vida de estos rancheros, tan salvajes, lleno de violencia, me recordó un poco a la última serie que vi con este estilo, "Mayor o Kingstown", pero claro, era de esperarse, ya que es dirigida por el mismo director, Taylor Sheridan, por ende no se podía esperar menos de esto.

There are things in this world that happen to us, and we always look for someone to blame, so that we don't have to assume our own guilt, this is what I saw with her attitude, and although in a way she was right, she should also have assumed part of her responsibility, but for her everyone was the bad guy; however, life continued to reward her, although she still doesn't see it that way.

Por otra parte, tenemos a los personajes principales de esta serie, cada uno con una forma distinta de ser, de actuar y pensar, es algo que veremos en cada capítulo, la dura convivencia entre ellos, la cual no es nada fácil, puesto que en toda familia, siempre hay una oveja negra, y otro dispuesto a todo, para defender a los suyos.

Jhon Dutton, tuvo cuatro hijos, Beth, Kayce, Jamie y Lee Dutton, todos ellos adoran a su padre, lo respetan de alguna forma, pero a la vez deben defenderse de todo aquello que arriesga esta relación, incluso entre ellos mismos; el personaje que más atrae, y que sin duda algunos odiaran o tal vez no, es la joven y traumada Beth, esta chica, es despiadada, astuta, y dispuesta a todo, para proteger los intereses de la familia, pero sobre todo a su padre, con sus arrebatos, su carácter explosivo, sin medir las consecuencias, guardando demasiado odio y rencor en su corazón, de allí su forma de ser.

Hay cosas en este mundo que nos suceden, y siempre buscamos a un culpable, para no tener que asumir nuestra propia culpa, esto es lo que yo vi con su actitud, y aunque en cierta forma tenía razón, ella también debió asumir parte de su responsabilidad, pero para ella todos eran los malos; sin embargo, la vida la seguía premiando, aunque ella aún no lo vea asi.

Drama, action, violence, romance, struggle for power, this and much more is what we will see in this story, in the old west, away from the city, surrounded by wildlife, cattle, and beautiful mountains, with those Texan music, and their dances, how typical ranchers.

The most attractive thing about living in a place like this, is enjoying all that scenery, that beautiful view, getting up in the morning and admiring the sunrise, or sunset, the bad thing, well the poor animals, the horses, being trained for them to do their stunts, not to mention the cattle, but well, not everything is rosy.

I can only say, if you like this kind of story, you will like it, as I mentioned this series covers a little bit of everything, and will keep you there, watching every scene, every chapter, I have yet to see the second part of the fifth season, since I have not finished this story, I have yet to see what will happen to this Dutton dynasty, and their precious lands.

Drama, acción, violencia, romance, lucha por el poder, esto y mucho más es lo que veremos en esta historia, en el viejo oeste, alejado de la ciudad, rodeado de una vida silvestre, ganado, y hermosas montañas, con esas músicas tejanas, y sus bailes, cómo típicos rancheros.

Lo más atractivo de vivir en un lugar asi, es disfrutar de todo ese paisaje, de esa hermosa vista, levantarse en la mañana y admirar el amanecer, o el atardecer, lo malo, bueno los pobres animales, los caballos, siendo entrenados para ellos hacer sus piruetas, sin mencionar el ganado, pero bueno, no todo es color de rosa.

Solo me queda decir, si les gusta este tipo de historia, seguro les va a gustar, como mencione esta serie abarca de todo un poco, y te mantendrá allí, pendiente de cada escena, cada capítulo, aún me falta ver la segunda parte de la quinta temporada, puesto que esta historia no la he terminado, me falta ver que pasara con esta dinastía Dutton, y sus preciadas tierras.

I'm not sure if this TV Series was ever intended to be make for real NBA fans or just to bring more exposure to the league and the L.A Lakers, after many articles online criticizing the way some of their characters are develop like Jerry West or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, even on some of the game play there is a double that looks totally different than the actor Solomon Hughes and that's confusing, makes me think how much of the story is real, even though they do present some facts like "this was real or this really happen"; clear proof that it was never meant to be hundred percent attach to how everything happen, so lets take it for what it is, a fiction story, not saying that everything is false but also I'm not an NBA or Lakers expert so I'll keep my comments based on the TV Series, after all this is not a review and just my comments on it, I do not consider my posts reviews since I got no position of expert, just blogging and having some fun.

On this episode Magic Johnson comes back after a knee injure, he got surgery; he is playing but it still doesn't feel right plus the team has change its tactics, coach Paul Westhead implement "The System" and players are having a hard time to adapt but it is getting a certain percent of acceptance among players and its giving good results, problem is at the time they had two players each as good going for the same position that's Nixon and Magic, usually in futbol you cant have that unless one of those two players can go for other positions and if you bench one usually it has less talent than the starting line but this was not the case between Nixon and Johnson, playing over and over The System also expose them and eventually other teams will figure this out, Paul Westhead didn't think so and force the team to always go for his plan, to make things worst the hole hollywood and power went to his head believing he was all mighty and only he had a saying on what can be done or not with the team.

After Magic got back he was out of rhythm, not only physically but psychologically, it lower performance was expected and everyone notice it but during this time the offense of the team was going through changes, one of them Nixon replacing him, for coach Westhead he was a more moldable player, Magic on the other hand was more use to improvise, something at the time their coach was trying to change, his direct approach was more production of hoops at the places each player was the most effective.

Magic love the press and the press love him, seems he always had something to entertain them with, it was either his performance of the drama around him, a young start who at first thought he could carry the hole team but latter on learn the hard way, after he came back he understood how others could take charge of his spot on the starting line and Kareem remaining the captain without a doubt, they were performing better than when he left.

Coach assistant Pat Riley at the time figure out Magic's problem, he was worried that it would happen again and probably be done for good from playing, Pat was a player too so he went through this stages, anyone who do any sport at a competitive level will go through rough times or injuries, some take more time than others to heal, some need external assistance and that what Pat was intending do, help Magic get back in shape, not with the purpose to take Nixon out or gain power over the team, although this was not how coach Westhead saw it.

Nixon was as great player that was giving great results for coach Westhead but as any other professional level sport sometimes you have to trade players or buy players, the world keeps spinning so the league, rumors run around that they are going to trade Nixon for a new player David Thompson, this got leak to the press some how and that's how Nixon finds out.

On the series Lakers had a huge problem at management, players had direct line with the team owner and I think that is probably still the case on many sports, it happens at many companies, rumors were killing them and Westhead would not allow other players think Magic's opinion had some influence over their fates, that I give it to him although this phrase had double intention because he thought HE was almighty. Coach ends up killing the trade but I'm not sure if that was the best interest for the team.

Lakers start fighting for the ball between each other, actually Nixon and Magic, during the series the nights that they were playing together no one could beat them but when they fighting it was easy to turn them apart, Kareem always took the wheel and kept the team in check when it was necessary, but that direct line that Magic had with Dr. Buss plus rumors kept leaking mad a big damage to the team, I think after all this drama best thing to do was take off magic from the starting line for some time, let things cool down. All this also directly affect Pat's relationship with coach Westhead as he thought Pat was going behind his back to make deals and gain power over the team like helping Magic get better by training him or knowing about the trade before him this gave coach more energy to show everyone he is in charge and he will take the team to the finals his way; what it looks is that it was never Pat's intention to take glory from Westhead but keep in mind there is a lot of fiction on this story.

Lakers were having a hard time, ups and downs, as it has happen on most of this stories, they are on the line for elimination, fifteen seconds on the clock, Lakers down by one. Coach strictly tells Magic "no hero ball" but then Pat tells Magic "You are the guy", I wonder if he did it for revenge against Westhead, both him and Magic were risking a lot instead of going for the play he went for a solo shot and ends up loosing the game.

On all sports franchise there are rivalries behind the curtains either between players or at the administration level, Lakers had a great time probably to at least be at the finals but all the rumors, glory and fame kill them, Dr. Buss did change the game when he bought the Lakers he turn it into a show something more appealing and attractive to investors at the same time giving something more to the audience than just two teams going at each other but this for good or bad got the players and staff, from there starts the power hunger Westhead plus the rival vary between Nixon and Magic for the starting line spot, keeping in mind that coach also make drastic changes after wining the finals, now forcing the players to perform an offense they were not comfortable with. I have to give it to this series, as a comedy is great in my opinion but the more I watch this last seasons the more I want to find out how much of this was truth to make a comparison, may be when I'm done watching the series will continue to do some digging and do a post between what was fiction and whats not, good episode solid 7/10.

Episode 8 of Drop Of Gods leave me mad but at the same time was a great episode, I don't want to discourage you from this episode because it was GOOD, I'm more mad about the ending of the series/season, I say this because I doubt there will be a second season, if we think about it Issei is with Yurika and can now start his Sommelier business with the vast collection of Wine he got from his sister Camille, Camille is with Thomas and put to sale her part of his father Wine collection, the contest for Alexander Ledger inheritance is finish, Lorenzo and Miyabi will continue the Ledger Guide after Camille ask them to, the "villains" Luca and Honoka are alone after failing their motives, what is to do next on the series? I really think they F it up and crunch too much of the story in eight episodes, unless a new challenge comes up that expand the TV series there probably wont be a second season, worst part is if they decouple it from the manga story line but it feels this was the happy ending for everyone and went separate ways. I did some research online wondering if there will be a second season but there is no official announcement or even rumor's just dumb speculation saying there will "probably" be a second season because the series did so good.

With the speculation of season 2 aside, it was a great episode, although a resume of episode 7 or a bit predictable since it was a happy ending episode, everyone got what they wanted and the truth about Issei real father came up but between Camille and Issei I don't understand why Alexander gave her the advantage on the last test, he send them to find the Drops of God in his cellar, a "wine" that he have chosen, I say a Wine because he says "my cellar is yours, explore it" but then it was never a bottle of wine, Drops of God was a memory from Camille childhood, so why giving her an advantage on the last test, Issei would never find out about that, Alexander train Issei because he couldn't train Camille her mother got between them so its not like he choose Issei to be the one, at the end got them both into this quest, I wonder if he did it assuming Issei would crush Camille from the start and her only hope to win was the last test?? This is the reason why I think they mess up the series if there is no continuation, there are a lot of questions after the end of why Alexander came up with the contest, it was never about the wine it was about his children but did he really had a preference between them? or did he only wanted to mess up with their mothers? Honoka and Marianne make Alexander life impossible at some point.

Yurika finally found Hirokazu, Issei's step father; working in construction at this time, he has been wondering from one place to another trying to survive in the country side, away from the Tomine family and his past, Japanese is a very proud culture and he was a bit down because he felt like an impostor who doesn't fit in Issei life, although Yurika make him understand that's not the case, old fox Hirokazu notice she and Issei are together.

Before he died, Alexander left a letter to Phillipe asking him to host one of the last contest he had for Camille and Issei, twisted scenario where Honoka, Marianne, Hirokazu and Alexander met, the test was not the important part of this scene but the place and circumstances, after they test was over they had dinner, Issei catch and cook fish for them and Philippe tells them the story of how their parents met on that very same place but he already knew Alexander was his father, latter on to avoid making a scene or having Camille make a scene he tells her everything and she assume the obvious that Alexander knew they were both his, Issei kept feeling down about Alexander probably just seen him as a bastard and she kept thinking Alexander was a bastard for putting his children on a contest to compete over his inheritance. For the most part of the series every time Camille thought about his father or Issei that infuriate her very much.

Drops of God, finally is not just a metaphor anymore, the test at Philippe vine yard was to find the perfect mix to make a wine he have chosen, a wine Philippe made, but then Alexander pull another test from his ass, find the Drops of God, explore my cellar, Camille got mad as fuck, she now knows Issei is her brother so she took him to Alexander place and both got drunk not giving a fuck about the last test but still care because if they both quit which was Camille premature decision everything would go to Luca and she would not aloud it.

Drops of God was just a memory from Camille childhood, the correct answer to the test was The Rain, I think that stab Issei again, why would Alexander do that to him? but again it was probably to balance the scale if Camille ever get so far on the contest against Issei, Camille never really wanted the inheritance at first then finds out about how much is it so obviously decided to participate on the contest but still towards the end never really wanted to follow Alexander steps so she sold probably half of the wine collection making Luca go to the auction and fight against others buyers and seems she sends half of the collection to Issei, she probably still felt it was unfair what Alexander did so at the end she gave the finger to Luca and Alexander, Issei on his part also rebelled against his mother and told her the only reason he would not make the truth public is because Alexander was never his father, his real father is Hirokazu.

 

After eight episodes of multiple test its finally over, to me it looks like a happy ending with Camille and Issei been brothers and friends but the truth is that their father Alexander had a preference for her, on the last wine they had to discover and the meaning of Drop of God, Camille always had an advantage, Issei also mention it that he was next to Alexander but never show him affection any type, not as a teacher obviously not as his father its like the entire story was made to develop a happy ending at expenses of Issei suffering, at least he has his step father that loves him and now a girlfriend.

One of the secrets of the most successful movie franchises worldwide is due to the identity that it builds throughout its sequences. In general, it is a trajectory that oscillates (in terms of quality) between many moments (whether good or bad results), but the “fingerprint” of the project is always there, showing one of the main reasons why each person can easily identify it. I would like to comment on other narrative aspects of an unprecedented nature in the franchise, but I can't do that because they would be spoilers, however, I can say that almost everything that was presented as something new within this sequence had a very specific and well thought out functionality.

The dramatic weight of this sequence is also one of the strongest points of the plot, and here I am specifically referring to the almost “paternal” relationship between John and Amanda, which proves to be something very strong and personal. Although the script doesn't mention this much in words, there are actions and looks between the characters that translate this in some scenes and this is something very interesting because it reminds us that even within their psychopathies, they also have their most "fragile” and sentimental moments. Overall, it is a relief for me to be able to say that, this time, there is a very satisfactory development of all the characters (even when this is all done “superficially”).

The Wrap

If in the previous plots, sometimes there was also a lack of motivation in relation to the actions carried out by John (working alone or with Amanda), in this sequence, it is more understandable for the public to accept what he does against those who deceived him. At this point, it is extremely interesting to see how the scriptwriters “play” with the audience’s sense of morals and ethics, which can become fickle depending on how much they agree or not with what is being done as a form of “justice” on the part of who was the victim of the situation. A great duality of thoughts that adds an even more complex and reflective layer amidst the intelligent and brutal traps presented.

Tobin Bell is a very charismatic figure and he still manages to deliver a very convincing performance after so long. Alongside him, Shawnee Smith returns as an Amanda that no one knew so well until then, and brings a better version of the character. The rest of the supporting cast is surprisingly good, but the highlight is Synnøve Macody Lund, who has a magnetic presence on screen and is favored by the script's more visceral approach to her character. No part of the cast is wasted, because each and every character was designed to have a very specific role in the story (even if it was just to be killed).

Os Geeks

The only weak point of Saw X is the climax of its third act, because the script prepared the story to have a more impactful ending (an expectation that arises naturally in the audience due to the construction of the narrative), but this doesn't happen and there is a somewhat bitter feeling, as if there was something not finished properly. Technically, it is important to mention that there are also some flaws in relation to the editing of some scenes (something that even made me unravel part of the great mystery before the script itself did so), on the other hand, the practical effects and the soundtrack remain as efficient as previously. Kevin Greutert directs one of the best sequences here.

Sinopsis: Después de un viaje a México y de ser brutalmente engañado por un equipo médico falso, John Kramer regresa a la acción y, para tomar la “justicia” en sus propias manos, deja que su lado asesino en serie vuelva a hablar más fuerte.

Uno de los secretos de las franquicias cinematográficas más exitosas a nivel mundial se debe a la identidad que construye a lo largo de sus secuencias. En general, es una trayectoria que fluctúa (en términos de calidad) entre muchos momentos (ya sean buenos o malos resultados), pero la “huella” del proyecto siempre está ahí, mostrando una de las principales razones por las que cada persona puede identificarla fácilmente. En el caso de la franquicia Saw, nada puede ser tan llamativo como la presencia del infame John Kramer (y su famoso muñeco), por lo que es exactamente en su presencia que se basó el guión, creando una eficiente intercesión entre el primero y el segundo películas de la franquicia.

Todo comienza con la búsqueda de John Kramer para tratar el cáncer cerebral avanzado, y cuando recibe este resultado, se encuentra en un laberinto sin salida, pero lo persuaden a viajar a la Ciudad de México, con el objetivo de intentar lograrlo. Procedimiento quirúrgico de alto riesgo, que no está científicamente aprobado. Una vez en la clínica siente que está haciendo lo correcto y que se curará, pero unos días después descubre que fue engañado por un equipo médico falso. Este brutal suceso despierta su lado más oscuro y decide que todos los involucrados tendrán que rendir cuentas. En ese momento, Jigsaw “revive” y hace lo que mejor sabe hacer: trampas.

Dentro de su propio universo, es admirable que una franquicia pueda reinventarse en tantos aspectos. Esta vez, el gore permanece en la pantalla (sí, hay mucha sangre y vísceras en la escena durante algunos momentos), pero hábilmente, el nivel de brutalidad fue dosificado y mejor ejecutado para crear una atmósfera más intimidante. Sin duda, aquí hay una mejor organización de ideas, porque entre las trampas (que siguen un orden decreciente de violencia) repartidas en un mismo escenario (algo inédito en la franquicia) también hay una mayor interacción entre personajes, favoreciendo el mejor desarrollo del guión para crear “empatía” por parte del otro lado.

También hay otros aspectos interesantes en cuanto a narrativa, como el ritmo de la historia en sí, que es más lento que otras películas anteriores. El hecho de que esta secuencia sea la más larga de la franquicia favoreció que la trama se acercara a la trayectoria de John Kramer a través de un prisma más dramático, mostrando que esta vez, todo se centra en él como parte principal de este mecanismo. Me gustaría comentar otros aspectos narrativos de carácter inédito en la franquicia, pero no puedo hacerlo porque serían spoilers, sin embargo, puedo decir que casi todo lo que se presentó como algo nuevo dentro de esta secuencia tenía una funcionalidad muy específica y bien pensada.

El peso dramático de esta secuencia es también uno de los puntos más fuertes de la trama, y aquí me refiero específicamente a la relación casi “paternal” entre John y Amanda, que resulta ser algo muy fuerte y personal. Aunque el guión no menciona mucho esto con palabras, hay acciones y miradas entre los personajes que lo traducen en algunas escenas y esto es algo muy interesante porque nos recuerda que incluso dentro de sus psicopatías, también tienen sus momentos más “frágiles” y sentimentales. En general, es un alivio para mí poder decir que, esta vez, hay un desarrollo muy satisfactorio de todos los personajes (aun cuando todo esté hecho “superficialmente”).

Si en las tramas anteriores, en ocasiones también había falta de motivación en relación a las acciones realizadas por John (trabajando solo o con Amanda), en esta secuencia es más comprensible que el público acepte lo que hace contra quienes lo engañó. Llegados a este punto, resulta sumamente interesante ver cómo los guionistas “juegan” con el sentido moral y ético del público, que puede volverse voluble según esté o no de acuerdo con lo que se está haciendo como una forma de “justicia” en la parte de quien fue víctima de la situación. Una gran dualidad de pensamientos que añade una capa aún más compleja y reflexiva en medio de las inteligentes y brutales trampas presentadas.

Tobin Bell es una figura muy carismática y todavía se las arregla para ofrecer una actuación muy convincente después de tanto tiempo. Junto a él, Shawnee Smith regresa como una Amanda que nadie conocía tan bien hasta entonces, y trae una mejor versión del personaje. El resto del reparto secundario es sorprendentemente bueno, pero lo más destacado es Synnøve Macody Lund, que tiene una presencia magnética en la pantalla y se ve favorecida por el enfoque más visceral del guión hacia su personaje. Ninguna parte del reparto está desperdiciada, porque todos y cada uno de los personajes fueron diseñados para tener un papel muy específico en la historia (aunque fuera solo para ser asesinados).

El único punto débil de Saw X es el clímax de su tercer acto. porque el guión preparó la historia para tener un final más impactante (expectativa que surge naturalmente en la audiencia debido a la construcción de la narrativa), pero esto no sucede y hay una sensación un tanto amarga, como si hubiera algo que no terminado correctamente. Técnicamente es importante mencionar que también hay algunas fallas en relación al montaje de algunas escenas (algo que incluso me hizo desentrañar parte del gran misterio antes de que el guión mismo lo hiciera), por otro lado, los efectos prácticos y la banda sonora sigue siendo tan eficiente como antes. Kevin Greutert dirige aquí una de las mejores secuencias.

Sinopse: Após uma viagem ao México e ser brutalmente enganado por uma falsa equipe médica, John Kramer volta à ação, e para fazer “justiça” com as próprias mãos, ele deixa o seu lado de assassino em série falar mais alto novamente.

Um dos segredos das franquias cinematográficas mais bem sucedidas mundialmente se deve à identidade que ela vai construindo ao longo de suas sequências. Em geral, é uma trajetória que oscila (em termos de qualidade) entre muitos momentos (sejam eles resultados bons ou ruins), mas a “impressão digital” do projeto está sempre lá, mostrando uma das principais razões pela qual cada pessoa consegue facilmente identificá-la. No caso da franquia Jogos Mortais, nada consegue ser tão marcante quanto à presença do infame John Kramer (e seu famoso boneco), então, é exatamente na presença dele que o roteiro se apoiou, criando uma eficiente intercessão entre o primeiro e segundo filme da franquia.

Tudo começa com à busca de John Kramer para tratar um câncer cerebral em estágio avançado, e quando ele recebe esse resultado, ele se vê em um labirinto sem saída, mas é persuadido a viajar até a cidade do México, com o objetivo de tentar realizar um procedimento cirúrgico de alto risco, que cientificamente não é aprovado. Uma vez na clínica, ele sente que está fazendo à coisa certa e que sairá curado, mas alguns dias depois, ele descobre que foi enganado por uma falsa equipe médica. Esse acontecimento brutal desperta o seu lado mais sombrio, e então, ele decide que todos os envolvidos terão que ser responsabilizados. Neste momento, Jigsaw “revive” e faz o que sabe de melhor: armadilhas.

Dentro do seu próprio universo, é admirável que uma franquia consiga se reinventar em tantos aspectos. Desta vez, o gore continua na tela (sim, há muito sangue e tripas em cena durante alguns momentos), mas de maneira habilidosa, o nível de brutalidade foi dosado e melhor executado para criar uma atmosfera mais intimidante. Sem dúvidas, há uma melhor organização de ideias aqui, porque em meio as armadilhas (que seguem uma ordem de violência decrescente) espalhadas no mesmo cenário (algo até então inédito na franquia) há também uma maior interação entre personagens, favorecendo o melhor desenvolvimento do roteiro afim de criar uma “empatia” por parte de quem está do outro lado.

Há também outros aspectos interessantes em termos narrativos, como por exemplo, o ritmo da própria estória, que é mais lento do que os demais filmes anteriores. O fato desta sequência ser a mais longa da franquia favoreceu à trama ao abordar a trajetória de John Kramer através de um prisma mais dramático, mostrando que desta vez, tudo se volta à figura dele enquanto peça principal dessa engrenagem. Eu gostaria de comentar sobre outros aspectos narrativos de ordem inédita na franquia, mas não posso fazer isso porque seriam spoilers, no entanto, eu posso dizer que quase tudo o que foi apresentado como algo novo dentro desta sequência, teve uma funcionalidade muito pontual e bem pensada.

O peso dramático desta sequência é também um dos pontos mais fortes da trama, e aqui eu me refiro especificamente à relação quase “paternal” entre John e Amanda, que se mostra algo muito forte e pessoal. Tecnicamente é importante mencionar que também há algumas falhas em relação à edição de algumas cenas (algo que inclusive me fez desvendar uma parte do grande mistério antes do próprio roteiro fazer isso), por outro lado, os efeitos práticos e à trilha sonora continuam tão eficientes quanto anteriormente. In one of his most recent statements about cinema involving superhero movies (which, according to him, should not be considered as a cinematic representation in essence), filmmaker Martin Scorsese, in his quest to combat “empty entertainment” is starting a real war against any and all types of material involving comic books, and especially those with the potential to become franchises.

If there is acceptance from other major studios (and even screenwriters, actors and actresses), the scenario could change radically.

En una de sus últimas declaraciones sobre el cine de superhéroes (que, según él, no debe considerarse en esencia una representación cinematográfica), el cineasta Martin Scorsese, en su afán por combatir el “entretenimiento vacío”, está iniciando una verdadera guerra contra todo tipo de material relacionado con cómics, y especialmente aquellos con potencial para convertirse en franquicias.

No es la primera vez que Scorsese hace este tipo de afirmaciones, pero esta vez es mucho más enfático al defender la idea de que la prevalencia de estas películas en las salas de cine (en los estudios y en las salas durante sus proyecciones) representa un peligro real a la cultura mundial, que muy pronto verá el cine sólo como un entretenimiento "sin sentido". Según Scorsese, esto limita el potencial creativo de muchos directores y guionistas aún desconocidos.

Según sus palabras, es necesario que haya una lucha contra las películas de superhéroes, y personalmente coincido con buena parte de lo que dice. Sinceramente, eu acho que neste momento, Scorsese não tem tanto apoio. Esse mercado é extremamente selvagem para se lutar sozinho (porque até então, nenhum outro grande cineasta se pronunciou de maneira tão contundente quanto ele sobre essa questão) e é justamente por isso que eu acho que nada vai mudar por enquanto. Caso haja uma aceitação por parte de outros grandes estúdios (e até roteiristas, atores e atrizes), o cenário pode mudar radicalmente.

Negan is definitely showing a side we didn't see on The Walking Dead original series, at least until the part I left; until now for an unknown reason he demonstrates he truly cares about Giny, we don't know why she staying we him neither, she doesn't talk and her actions are not so predictable, I doubt her trauma is only the Zombies or her family got robbed or killed, there has to be more than that or that she got autism, its normal for autistic kids not to talk but they can do everything else just fine, I think I'm getting to far with Giny character. Negan with all this kind side of him gets me thinking at some point he been Negan is going to get tired of been the good guy, he does explain Maggie why he was the way he was when he killed her husband, he mainly did it to protect his people and he got over it but does get me thinking that if the time comes and they can get rid of The Croat or even Maggie is some how lying to him about her reasons to get The Croat then Negan can turn around his mind set of been the good guy and help others to be the FUCK YOU I RULE and take over Manhattan, I think for anyone who knows him from the original series might be thinking this way, like going to both ends of the rope with him, he could be the nasty guy he was or the peaceful survivor he is now.

The new characters, Tommaso, Amaia, Im not sure if its the actors or the character themself or the fact that Im expecting more from the series but for me they falling short compare to Negan or Maggie, even Giny impress me more, probably down the road, if they dont die first; I get to like them more.

Been the random girl she is, mostly because she doesn't talk or express herself; Giny is starting to be the one that surprises the most on this episode, at first it was obvious she didn't want to stay a Hilltop, she felt awkward when she was presented to the rest of the kids on the class but from there to escape, steal a dirt bike and jump in to what looks like a tub or cooler and get to Manhattan that's extreme, plus this part is a bit unbelievable if we start to think straight. The water current has to be super calm so she can get to the other side on that tub and just a piece of wood to row, she might get to the other side but even if it doesn't look that far she could end a few miles away to the left from the picture we getting, after all she doesn't not know where Negan is, that's the other wild part of the story how is she going to find him before the Burazi find her first.

Lets face it, no body likes Negan, at least not at first and it has to be said, while Tommaso and Amaia where talking about how hard it would be to get into the arena and extract Maggie's son plus killed The Croat again Negan past actions had to be mention, The Croat is his reflection extrapolate to a few X more so he knows how he thinks and how he can be defeated, one way is to turn his people and they know it work because that is what happen to him, bit by bit Amaia is starting to know more about Negan and she seem to dont like him, who could knowing what the savage he was, specially Luther he wants the to go because what they are about to commit is far more dangerous than their plan to survive and get them all killed.

From all the survivor group the only one been straight up to Maggie and Negan is Luther, I think both Tommaso and Amaia are just hyped that finally they got someone who can get them The Croat and they are blind by this mission, they cant see that if things go wrong they will end up dead or worst as prisoners, Maggie and Negan are use to this kind of YOLO plans and go for it but Luther might be right, they will all die. Luther goes as far as telling Maggie how crazy her plan was, for what? for her son? "You know he is already dead".

Negan shows his kind side again, after they break the conversation about the plan, it ended with Luther telling Maggie his son is dead; Negan brings her a shirt for Hershel, a gift; to cheer her up and then came up the classic conversation of the last time she saw her son but more important than that Negan tells the story of how his wife Annie was beat up, this I had to look up because since I never finish the original series didn't know who Annie was; five guys beat up Annie and robbed her, this was in New Babylon where they got laws now and are trying to rebuild society so Negan killed the five guys who hurt Annie that's when Marshall start to chase him so he was on the run, to protect Annie he had to put her and who I assume is his son Joshua in a wagon train to Missouri and said he will be right behind him but never did, he split to protect them, this break his heart and he even cry when talking about it.

I got to the conclusion that Negan is probably trying to be a father for Giny for all the bad things he have done or for his wife and son who he had to see go, and Giny also see Negan as a father, probably why she stick to him and wont let go, she also look aware of the world they living in and if she didn't go to Manhattan with him would probably never see him again.

After dinner Luther decides to confront Negan at night, he found his Wanted Men sign that he kept with him, they start a fight and Negan picks up the most bizarre weapon he could find, a cheese grater, Luther pics him up and give him the good old bear hug, Negan cuts his forehead with the cheese grater, Luther stumbles, falls on his back and there was a pipe, probably gas pipe that goes through the back of his head, Luther dead. Obviously this will be a body that Negan wont be able to hide, physically yes but I'm talking about the lie that he tells next morning when everyone ask for Luther.

The more I write about this series the more I find how far it is from been as good as the original series, I have mention before that I want to watch the OG series again and finish it but people keeps mentioning how it got boring towards the end but I feel that to enjoy more this spin off you have to watch the OG series.

I haven't mention The Croat that much because even though he is the main bad guy of the series he is irrelevant so far, everything happening right now is within Maggie's group and how she is giving the orders when the rest just follow her, I hope they don't make The Croat fall easy because then it would be too predictable and turn into a shitty series, its only episode 3, it starts to show some action, develop the Manhattan story, getting to know more about Tommaso and Amaia, also about what happen to Maggie and Negan after the OG series, its half way of season one so I'm not expecting them to kill The Croat on this season but for sure will try. Been a short season with only six episodes doesn't give it much time for story telling so next episode they will most likely go after The Croat, so far I'm enjoying the series but I don't know why at times it still doesn't feel that great, probably because I'm expecting more from it since its a spin off, been the third one after Fear The Walking Dead and Tales of the Walking Dead, the first one was great even though didn't finish that one neither so I think I'm expecting just too much of the series and should take it for what it is.
