I watched this movie when I visited my sister's house like two Sundays ago, yeah ....i have seen other kinds of Spy Kids movies before, but I think this one had a more enjoyable kind of storyline, it just had that feel of something so fresh but still gave me that nostalgic Spy Kids vibe that I used to enjoy back then.
The movie is called Spy Kids ~Armageddon, and it is basically about two siblings, Tony and Patty, who find out that their parents are actually secret agents . Now, this part is where it gets interesting, these kids are not your typical “sit down and stay safe” type, No, they end up in the middle of a whole tech crisis when they accidentally help a game developer unleash a computer virus, And not just any virus, this one gives the villain control over all the world’s technology, i'm talking phones, gadgets, drones. ,basically everything we can’t live without in this age.
From the start, you can tell it’s going to be fun because the action scenes come early, There is this fast-paced energy the movie has that keeps you watching without even thinking of pausing, The kids are smart, witty, and not afraid to take risks, Patty, especially, had this fearless attitude I liked, she is the kind that just jumps in and figures things out as she goes, Tony, on the other hand, is more into tech and gadgets, which made them a perfect team.
One thing I have always liked about Spy Kids movies is how they make the gadgets so cool, In Armageddon, the gadgets are upgraded there’s no way my younger self would not have wished for half of the tech they showed here, and the parents, even though they’re spies, still have those relatable “mom and dad” moments that make you smile, I like how the movie didn’t just make it about action but also about family teamwork and trust.
The villain in this one, Rey Kingston, isn’t just a typical “I want to take over the world” type he’s more modern. His character fits perfectly into today’s tech-obsessed society, and it made the whole plot feel more realistic, I mean, if someone could actually control all the technology we use daily, the chaos would be unimaginable, And the way the movie shows this happening traffic lights going crazy, security systems locking people out, drones flying everywhere, it’s wild but also kind of scary when you think about it.
What I enjoyed most in the movie was how these kids just had to step up and save the day, even though they were so inexperienced, yes... they made mistakes, they argued, and also got into really tight spots, but they still kept going, and that made them so relatable not just because not everything was smooth or even perfect, they actually had to learn and adapt as things even got messier.
The humor was another plus for me. There were several funny moments that kept things light, even when the situation in the movie was tense,You could tell the film wasn’t trying to be overly serious, which I think works perfectly for a family-friendly adventure like this.
By the end, the teamwork between the kids and their parents was so satisfying to watch, i like that it was not just the adults saving the day it was all of them together, which gave that “family wins” feeling that Spy Kids movies are known for.
Overall, Spy Kids: Armageddon was really a fun watch,it had the right mix of action, humor, tech, and heartwarming moments, If you liked the older Spy Kids films, this one will definitely give you that nostalgic kick but with a modern twist. For me, watching it with my sister’s family made it even better, it’ idone of those movies you enjoy more when you’re watching with others.

English Version
In this series we have Captain Ed Mercer in command of the USS Orville, after a difficult period of his life he fulfills both exploratory and diplomatic missions throughout the universe, as well as facing external and internal threats.
When this series was announced many did not expect anything since its creator was Seth Mcfarlane who is best known for creating Family Guy and American Dad, the first episodes seemed to prove him right since the comedy did not help much and it was difficult to empathize with the characters, but at a certain point the series found its way. It was a long and dubious journey that seen in retrospect one can see that this is how a TV series works, taking its time and building a good story by establishing the rules that will govern the plot no matter how long it takes.
The Orville was fortunate enough to be able to amass a large enough audience that allowed them to keep moving forward even though it seemed like the product was unreliable. Science fiction is a genre that allows for philosophical and reflective messages that can serve as a parallel or criticism of the real world, it can also take simple human interactions and exaggerate them in a way that is both funny and interesting and that is something that Seth Mcfarlane knew how to take advantage of with this series, such as a planet that is ruled by the horoscope, another where social networks decide whether they are good or bad people or even a race where marital separations become fights to the death.
They also manage to balance seriousness and comedy, first they make you laugh with any oddity such as a robot who wants to understand how to prepare for a date or a gelatinous and lustful alien, but then they show you a race that seeks to conquer the universe because according to them so indicates their religion or also a race of a mainly male population that underestimates women, are all these elements that make this series so striking and catching. This series went from regular to remarkable thanks to how it develops its plot and characters throughout the episodes, it does not seek to be pretentious, not to leave a mark but to be a series that is entertaining.
This series is very inspired by Star Trek, the similarities are impossible to ignore, but this show is not a plagiarism, you can also see that this program did not seek to be dark and serious but decided to take advantage of all the elements provided by science fiction and even use better lighting, thus we got a program that is neither too serious but not ridiculous. It also knows how to take advantage of the episodic format, allowing you to see the story from any point and then venture into the full story.
As I said before each character is very charismatic which makes it very easy to be interested in each of them, the universe of the series is very well built and makes you want to explore it with the crew of the Orville, I have become a big fan of this series and I think it should be seen by both fans and not so big fans of science fiction.

Many consider **Jurassic Park III** the worst film of the first trilogy. It has more negative reviews than it's worth, and I admit it doesn't have the best script, nor is it the best. That place will forever be held by **Jurassic Park**, and it also has more flaws than Buhito's brain. But all things considered, it's my favorite and my favorite, not exactly because of the script or the plot, but because of the memories I have from when it was released.
Although I didn't go to see it in the theater, I didn't go to see any of the first films on the big screen, only Jurassic World, except for Dominion because it was released in a year when I didn't feel like going to the theaters. I saw Jurassic Park III as soon as it was released on VHS. It was the first film in the saga that I saw this way, and this is where the fond memories of those years begin.

I don't remember exactly how old I was, I think I was around 7 or 8 years old and I remember that we saw the trailer on TV and I was super excited to see it, but we didn't go to the movies, I don't remember why, so we had to wait for it to be released on **VHS** and rent it at the neighborhood store. This is the first memory I have of when I saw it, it was the first of the trilogy that I was able to see in its premiere, not in the theater, but somehow it is a premiere and this is the first reason why it is my spoiled.
We were my mom, my sister and I, we arranged the chairs in the living room and put the VHS in the player, quite a gadget, but we put it to good use and enjoyed many movies with it, what a great time. We had 3 (three) days to watch it because the duration of the rental was for that time and I must say that we watched it many times during that time, we loved it.
I remember that the scene that made us laugh was the moment when the Pterodactyl turned its head slowly to see our protagonists escape and this was because at that time a music video of Jennifer Lopez had been released in which she turned her head in the same way and as we did not understand English, I understood that she said in that part “envuerajiresi”, I do not know what caranchos that means, kid stuff, but when we saw that scene of the dinosaur turning its head like her, I said that phrase.

My favorite character was **Eric Kirby**, that kid could give a complete survival lesson, imagine, a 12 year old kid, alone on an isolated island full of dinosaurs, danger lurking in every breath he took for 2 months, I know it's a movie, but when you mention a 12 year old kid you think of a scared, crying and somewhat capricious little boy, but Eric was the opposite, very intelligent and quite calm and mature for his age, I had a crush on him in those years, I admit it.
Amanda Kirby took the prize for the worst mother, she let her underage son do illegal paragliding in a forbidden zone full of dinosaurs with an adult who wasn't even his father, even so, the actress who played her is great, at times she made me laugh just like Paul Kirby, Eric didn't look like the son of either of them and even so the best laughs were given by his father.

I think for many it was a lousy movie because of what happened with the **T-Rex**, but come on, not everything is Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor, here we see the protagonism of a great as it is the **Spinosaurus** and also had very good participation of the **Pterodactyls**, something different from the previous ones. I never get tired of watching it and I even know the scenes by heart, I have very nice memories with this movie and despite not being the best, for me it has a very big place in my fanaticism for this saga and no other can occupy it, even if they have a better script, it goes beyond that.
It's not so bad either, the Spinosaurus was very scary, I love the dinosaurs of this first trilogy, that face of demoniacs and the look of psychopaths that they had made them unique and terrifying.
And let's not forget the other main character, the Kirby's phone, that thing is the devil, I could stand the Spinosaurus' stomach and still had a signal and that melody, impossible to forget it, to this day I still hum it. This movie is very good and I love to keep these memories I have from the first time I saw it, the emotion is still the same and I think it will be forever.

Many times I have watched sci-fi movies and superhero movies. I have watched Wolverine, Flash, Iron Man, Ant-Man, and many others. But among them all, one that I love the most is that of Wakanda Forever. I don’t know what got me to like the movie, but the death of the Black Panther himself was a hit to the movie. Got me so emotional, but still I know there will always be a way out.
Recently I watched a movie where Iron Man made an end to his career too. Captain America also plays his role and some other superheroes. Linking up those series is just one thing on its own, and that's more of a reason why I lost interest in watching it.
While scrolling through the movie list on my movie box app. I had the intention of watching just any movie that is related to comedy and dramas. But I came across a blue beetle. I had the doubt at first that maybe it might not be interesting to watch, but I just felt I should watch it after reading the short description and the trailer.
Blue Beetle
This is a 2023 American Superhero movie. And it also ran for a duration of about 127 minutes. And it has its genre to be action, adventure, and sci-fi.
The plot
Reyes, the latest graduate in the family, just arrived home to realize that the condition of the people he left at home had worsened, and they had to vacate their house soon. This left him with no choice than to think of a way to make sure he makes money and safe his family.
On the other end is the Kord family with a lot of riches, and Victoria Kord is the CEO of the company. Reyes' younger sister helped him get a cleaning job at Victoria's house.
Reyes got fired the moment he tried to settle a dispute happening between Victoria and Jenny Kord, who happened to be the only heir to her father, the former CEO of the Kord company. Jenny welcomed Reyes and promised to get him another job in her father’s company.
A scarab, the blue beetle, was one of the projects her father had long worked on, but if Victoria should set her hands on it might be of negative use. Jenny sneaked into the company and got her hands on the scarab. She kept it in a burger box while she tried to breach the security system. She saw Reyes and told him his first job was to keep the box safe.
Reyes took the box home and was convinced to open it to see what was in it. Upon opening, he got an attachment with the scarab, and it changed his whole body system. He went through the stratosphere down to the streets and roads of the country. He was extraordinarily powerful.
He tried to find Jenny so they could get rid of the scarab, but she said the scarab had chosen him. So they embarked on an endless battle against Victoria.
Casts
Jaimes Reyes
One of the lead casts in the movie, and i will say he really played a great role delivering his part. His handsome look will surely compensate for his funny acts, too.
Jenny Kord
I love her smartness and also her passionate acts too. She also delivered well, and it really made the watch worth it
Rating and Conclusion
Blue Beetle was worth watching, and if I am to rank it on a scale of 10, then I will give it an 8.5/10. If you are the superhero movie freak type, then this is one I will also love to recommend.
Hello everyone, my friends who are fans of good stories, I hope you're all doing super well, dear Movies and TV Shows community, this time I want to share a new review with you, has it ever happened to you that after watching a movie, you have to be silent for a while, trying to process everything you just saw? Well, that's how I am after watching Queer... first, the director is the same one who gave us that electric tension in Challengers and, of course, the movie that basically defined that wave of summer desire, Call Me By Your Name... and well, it's back, and let me tell you that Queer is... something totally different, I mean, if Challengers was pure adrenaline straight to the vein, this is more like... I don't know, like a weird dream, one of those with a fever, that at times is beautiful and at times it takes you out of the loop. And the craziest thing is that he’s working with the same screenwriter, the same composer duo, and the same director of photography as in Challengers, but seriously, the vibe couldn’t be more different, it’s mind-blowing how he switches switches depending on the story; he has incredible range!
The film stars Daniel Craig, yes, yes, James Bond, THAT Daniel Craig... look, forget everything you associate with 007, this is perhaps the rawest, most vulnerable, most anti-Bond performance I’ve ever seen from him... it’s set in Mexico City, back in the 50s, in that half-murky, half-dense underworld, Craig plays Lee, an aging expatriate gringo with a history of addiction, who falls in love in an almost sickly way with a much younger boy, Allerton, played by Drew Stark.
And this is where things get really interesting, the background, let’s say… the movie is based on a novel of the same name by William S. Burroughs, this guy is a GIANT of the Beat Generation, I read somewhere that he was described as a “mad teacher”, and the truth is, it fits the vibe of the movie quite a lot… but hold on to this – and this fact really blew my mind – it seems that Burroughs wrote Queer back in the 50s while he was awaiting trial for accidentally killing his wife. Can you believe it!? Knowing that kind of casts a really dark shadow over the whole movie, it’s not that they show it, but the movie kind of hints at that vibe of danger, of screwing up, and it definitely adds a layer of darkness and perhaps explains why the character is so tormented and self-destructive… and well, back to Craig. Honestly, he’s the one who holds this whole movie together. His performance is brutal. The guy just gives his all for this character, he’s a mix of contradictions: desperate to connect but super clumsy, intelligent but completely lost in addiction, desperate for something but perhaps incapable of loving in a healthy way. Craig conveys this deep loneliness, the kind that gets to your bones, that you feel throughout the entire movie. It’s not one of those performances that screams “give me an Oscar!” you know?
It’s super internal, very subtle, he tells you a lot of things just with his eyes or the way he moves, he was passionate, he’s not afraid to show himself vulnerable, he’s a mess. Without him, I think the movie, which gets really weird and unconventional, just wouldn’t work. It’s the kind of complex, dense role that I felt was his due, and he plays it incredibly well. Now, the plot itself... it's not that it has a super marked plot, in the classic sense, it rather follows Lee chasing Allerton through smoke-filled bars, and in that general haze of their lives with drugs and alcohol in Mexico... there's a whole section later on where they go on a trip into the jungle to look for a mysterious drug called yage, which is apparently something similar to ayahuasca... that's where the film takes a major turn, in how it looks and how it feels.
And here we come to the style, my people, which is where I think Queer is going to divide waters, it is not an easy film, Guadagnino takes risks with a very interesting visual wave, at times it feels almost like theater... you realize that you are watching something put together, perhaps even half artificial, which seems to be on purpose and helps you understand the vibe of the film later on. It starts with a half-melancholic, romantic air, perhaps it reminds you a little of the vibe of Call Me By Your Name at the beginning, but that lasts for a breath, the film becomes increasingly surreal, more experimental and, I'll be honest, quite confusing, especially in the final stretch... this is a film that asks you to be there, immersed.
It relies heavily on the visual, the subtext, what isn't said. Yes, there's dialogue, but much of the important stuff is in how it's filmed, in how the characters move around each other, in the glances that tell you everything, in the silences... what they do is sometimes ambiguous, even confusing. You're constantly trying to understand why they do what they do, especially Allerton, who is a total mystery, super distant throughout the entire film, demanding that you draw your own conclusions, that you feel it more than having it all spelled out for you.
It feels very poetic, very "art-house" in that sense... that's why I completely understand if some people find it frustrating. I've read comments from people who were quite disappointed, who found it tedious or who just couldn't make any sense of it at all. One complaint I hear a lot is that the movie doesn't give you enough context, especially about Lee's past, which seems to be explained much better in the book. You know what I think: an adaptation has to stand on its own! You shouldn't have to read the book first to understand what the characters or the story are about... this lack of... like a narrative basis, to better understand Lee's story that could explain what he's doing, is probably the weakest point of the movie as an adaptation. I myself, to be honest, felt kind of lost at times, like I was trying to put the pieces together.
But underneath all that complicated style and that semi-ambiguous vibe, the film is touching on some really powerful themes: the loneliness that crushes you, that vicious cycle of addiction, the way desire and longing can devour you, the search to connect with someone in a world (or maybe just in your own head) that feels super isolating... it's a queer love story, technically, yes, but it feels miles away from the typical films of the genre because of that surreal touch and the GIANT uncertainty that surrounds the main couple. You're not even sure if that "love" is healthy or if it's already doomed from the start, or maybe both, what's certain is that it doesn't go for the easy way, the sentimental way, that's not even a joke... and I have to quickly mention a couple of secondary characters! Jason Schwarzman appears in a small role but with a great vibe... he puts a strange energy into it that works.
And then there’s Leslie Manville, always so proper, so elegant… well, here she appears in the last section, I’m not lying to you, like some kind of half-crazy swamp boss, with a shotgun and everything! It was too funny and totally unexpected, a hilarious and bizarre cameo! The music, by Reznor and Ross, is also brutal, it perfectly captures the mood of the film: there’s a main theme that is beautiful but leaves you uneasy, which represents that central connection, but on top of that they add this psychedelic vibe, which goes around and around, sometimes sounds strange, and it fits perfectly with the visuals and how the characters feel inside… Guadagnino continues to throw in some tremendous musical moments: there’s one with New Order, another using Nirvana in the middle of the 50s!, which sounds kind of strange but somehow fits with the rebellious and transgressive spirit of the film, so would I recommend Queer?
It’s complicated. It's definitely not for everyone... if you're looking for the more easily digestible thrill of Challengers, this isn't it. This is for the "adventure film buffs," or so I feel. It's the kind of film that sticks with you, that leaves you thinking, that you'll probably want to comment on (or discuss) afterwards. It's challenging, dense, at times a bit dark, and some parts may test your patience. Overall, I think I'd give it a 7.5/10. It has its flaws, perhaps significant ones for some, but it's also fascinating, it's bold, and it has a performance by Daniel Craig that's absolutely worth watching. It's one of those films that, despite how difficult it may be, isn't a waste of time at all. It provokes something in you, and isn't that what makes art interesting? So yeah, if you're feeling adventurous and up for a challenge, you can give it a try. And well... that's it for today's review. Take care, bye!

Welcome Hive moviegoers, today I'm here to give you my opinion on "El Marginal," the series I'm showing you today. I've seen it twice... Yes, all 5 seasons. First of all, because I was interested in watching it again with more knowledge, and secondly, because in a few days ("En el barro") is coming out, which would be the perspective of the women within the series, and although they had a leading role, their experiences will surely go much deeper. The first episode comes out the day after I publish this post (August 14th), so I'll probably finish watching it to write about it, since it's one of the topics that I love.
This series shows cruel things within the prison world, realities many of us are unaware of and others wouldn't even imagine experiencing. Violence is commonplace in the prison system, where the goal isn't to reintegrate the subject, but rather to "pay" the system that expelled them for their "mistakes" committed when they were "free," when there are times when you don't have many alternatives (a central theme for one of the series' protagonists). I use a lot of quotation marks to refer to the many conceptions of thoughts that are twisted by seeing how the system itself has deteriorated.
The entire series tells the story of the Borges brothers, who practically lived off crime. As life prisoners, they risk the hierarchy of demands to obtain benefits, power, money, among other things. Their family outside of prison also plays a very important role, giving rise to extortion and extortion schemes for their own gain.
In these five seasons, we always draw the same conclusion: the powerful always win, or rather, never lose. In the finale, we see many deals between those who fulfill roles in the state, those who should enforce regulations and human rights... They are the first to break them, and only to make money and gain more and more power. I would ask them: To what extent would they go to achieve power?
One of those characters is "Antin," played by Gerardo Romano, who plays the corrupt and manipulative director of the San Onofre prison. He is an ambitious character who constantly seeks to increase his power and influence, both inside and outside of prison, through corruption, deceit, and violence. The aforementioned information I got from the internet, from the source I'll leave below. This character was one of the most disturbing, witnessing how he so coldly saw the dehumanization that reigned in the prison, and also in the things that perhaps we would consider excessive. An excellent performance for my taste, showing the **son of a bitch** in its maximum splendor of those officials who are only governed by money.
We also see subgroups within the prison, where micro-power, control, and direct access to the prison chief are fought over in order to carry out fraudulent transactions. But the police are not far behind, as are other "prisoners" who also perform their duties poorly. Some by choice, others because "they have no other choice," are tempted to perform tasks for "the bosses." Quoting Michel Foucault, "Prison is not simply a place of punishment, but an institution that reflects and reproduces the disciplinary power of modern society."
These characters represented tremendous brutality in the season they participated in, with a lot of violence and disorder, a more authoritarian approach than the "circus owners" themselves. Without a doubt, one of my favorite seasons. The last one, season 5, wasn't so much, at least because perhaps in my case I'd already seen it once and wasn't surprised by anything that happened. But I hope you like it.
At the beginning of the series (when the pandemic started), I saw many different realities: those under the power, who struggle to survive in the "jungle," and others, who think they know things won't change today or tomorrow. Also understanding, or at least giving me a more panoramic view of what to think about both educational institutions and prisons. I hope you enjoy the series and all its seasons, cinephiles / and Hive series❤️

If there is ever a movie that really had me sold, it's this one. The main plotline of children who all dissapear at the same time had me super curious what actually happened. The fact that this movie was from the Director of Barbarian which I absolutely loved as one of my favorite horror movies also was a good sign. The fact that the main poster of the movie looks awesome and the title didn't really made no sense and made me curious. Alml of this with a 8/10 on imdb after 20k votes was enough to set my expectations sky high and I avoided any kind of spoiler going into this one fully blind aside from knowing that is was a horror movie and there were some jumpscares. Initially, I refused to pay 17.80€ for a cinema ticket which I think is just way too expensive. However, my curiosity (and the need to find some cooling down in the evening) got the better of my so I went to watch it...
Weapons (7.8/10)
Before the movie started, there was a small trailer of it on the screen and that was the first time I had that happen. I didn't watch it as I wanted everything to stay new in the movie itself and I'm glad as the 2nd part of the trailer had quite some spoilers. Anyway, the movie starts off great with a 3rd person voice of a kid narrating the main event of the movie...
From there on out, the movie really starts and the story is told from the point of view of different characters inspired by the movie Magnolia. This way of making a movie is not just a gimmick but it works quite well and adds to the overall experience. The first person we follow is the teacher and very early on it's noticeable that this movie was made by the same guy behind barbarian as the tension is quite high with all shots beautifully filmed.
The first part following the teacher named justine is quite long and it's one of those movies where the 2 Hour and 9 minute Runtime feels more like 3 hours in a good way as it never at any time got boring.
There also are some dream sequenses in this film where you actually know it's a dream so you are prepared for the eventual jump scare that ends the dream. The dream is one of the scray promo images and I would say these dreams are mainly in place to create some scary scenes.
The Story & Hidden Themes
Basically you know with such a great premise that the outcome and explaination will never really be able to live up to the expectations and this for me also was the case in Weapons. I guess there is a hidden main theme behind it all similar how Depression was the theme in a film like The Babadook . This one I would say resolves around Alchoholism and grief but honestly for me I only really get that afterward from watching some YouTube Explained videos.
Overall there are many great things about this movie, the story is told an an interesting way, the tension often is very high, casting and acting were great along with the cinematography and the music. The one thing that kind of underwhelmed me was the explaination of what happened. This makes this a movie where the marketing was just excellent for a movie that is still very good and worth watching even thoug I would not pay 17.80€ again and just wait to see it at home once it releases.
Trailer Which Spoils Part of the Movie:
Spoiler
Conclusion
The marketing of this movie did great, and I had very high hopes going into this one that it could be a movie that fits inbetween It Follows, The Babadook, Barbarian, Talk To Me which are all Horror Movies that are my favorites. I would say that Weapons just comes in below those as it was still great and a very tense but enjoyable experience. 7.8/10 and I'm looking forward to the 3rd movie directed by Zach Cregger.
Hello .. !!
My dear Hive friends,
I am @samadbro08 from Bangladesh. Today is Thursday ,August 14/2025
Hi everyone, how are you? I hope everyone is well.Today we will talk about anime movie review The Garden of Words.I hope everyone is like this anime movie review. Let's get started.
"The Garden of Words" is a sad and poetic love story that was released in 2013 by Makoto Shinkai. "The Garden of Words" is a unique and poetic anime movie, it is not just a love story, but a touching description of loneliness, dreams and the inseparable relationship between nature. Today I am sharing the story of the movie with you.
The story begins during the rainy season in Tokyo, where a 15-year-old high school student named Takao Akizuki skips school every rainy day to go to Shinjuku Gyoen National Park to design shoes. There he meets a mysterious 27-year-old woman named Yukari Yukino, who is avoiding work due to problems in her professional life. A strange friendship develops between them, where Takao shares his dream of making shoes and Yukari recites Japanese poems (tanka) to him.
The story takes a turn when Takao learns that Yukari is actually a teacher at his school who has been bullied by students and has broken down emotionally. The tension in their relationship reaches its peak when Takao confesses his love to her, and Yukari tells him to keep his distance. Their emotional farewell and hint of a reunion in the final scene leave a lasting impression on the audience.
Takao is a young man with a dream of making shoes. He is lonely, but has deep feelings in his heart. He has the courage to break the rules of society, because he puts his dream above all else. Then there is Yukino, a sad, mysterious woman. Something has happened in her life that has made her sad. She is also alone, and her relationship with Takao gives her some relief. Her silence is a reflection of her inner pain.
This is not an ordinary love story. Here, the relationship is built in silence, in the language of the eyes. Takao and Yukino's mutual dependence, their loneliness, and their silent promise to be by each other's side, these feelings touch the audience deeply. And so The Garden of Words teaches us that even in difficult times in life, we unexpectedly find someone who stands by our side. It encourages us to dream, and shows that being alone does not mean being weak. Sometimes loneliness is the only way to discover ourselves.
If you want to watch an anime that leaves a mark not only on the eyes but also on the mind, then 'The Garden of Words' is for you. It is not justabout nime movie, but a poetic experience. Each scene, like a raindrop, will give rise to a different feeling in your heart. Watch it, and witness the beauty of that garden of words for yourself. I am ending my writing here today, thank you all.

Especially we are two brothers of parents. I am the eldest son of the family. My educational qualification is I am an honors 4th year student of Bengali department.
I just finished watching the Alien Earth series, and I had thought that this series would only be released in the English language. But it has been released in four languages. You won’t find any flaws in it.
Now, let’s talk about what the series is like. Well, yesterday I checked the ratings this series received because some people get the chance to watch the series early. The series had an 8.8 rating yesterday, which is quite a good rating, and I felt that this series was going to be quite different.
I’ll tell you my reaction after watching it, but first, let’s talk about the basic story.
Basic Story
Whatever you saw in the trailer, you won’t particularly see that in the first two episodes of the series. I mean, what we thought the story would be like, based on the trailer, this series is quite different from that. The story of this series progresses in a non-linear way. Sometimes it moves forward, sometimes to the future, future, past, and so on. Because of this, a mystery element is maintained about what the actual story of the series is.
For now, the story that can be understood is that a spaceship crashes on Earth, and some people are sent to investigate what happened to the spaceship. There are aliens inside the spaceship, as we saw in the trailer. But when the series starts, you’ll see something different. And a question will linger in your mind: what exactly is happening? You’ll have to watch the series to find out.
So, this non-linear presentation of the series might feel a bit irritating to some people, but in my opinion, it’s quite good. As for the story I’ve seen in the first two episodes and how it felt to me, I found the story quite amazing. It felt much better than decently recent series, especially the story of these two episodes. Because of this, I wouldn’t point out any flaws in the story.
Technical Aspects
Talking about visuals, there are no shortcomings in the visuals of the series either. In some places, they’ve used certain techniques to cut costs and still make the visuals look good at a low cost, which might make some people feel that cost-cutting was done here. The visuals could have been enhanced a bit. But honestly, it doesn’t make much of a difference. All the alien scenes feel quite realistic. Like what we saw in the Alien Covenant movie or Prometheus. You get almost the same kind of visuals here.
So, visually, you won’t find any flaws in the series. I found the performances of all the actors quite good. You’ll also see an Indian actor in it. And the best thing about the series, I felt, is that it comes with a multilayered story. It’s not like the series is only following one story or that the current story we’re watching is all there is. There are other things in the series that we’ll get to see later.
And if I had to define the first two episodes of the series in one word, I’d say “amazing.” Absolutely amazing, this series has been. The most impressive thing is that this series has retained the essence we’ve seen in previous Alien movies, like Prometheus or Alien Covenant. You must remember how terrifying the environment becomes when those dangerous alien creatures appear. The same terrifying environment is created in this series when these dangerous creatures show up, and you’ll feel a sense of fear seeing them.
You’ll also see some gruesome scenes in this series. But compared to the other movies that have come out so far, you won’t see overly gruesome scenes. Only as many gruesome scenes as were necessary are included. So, you can watch it while eating if you want. So far, I haven’t seen anything that would make me feel nauseous, and as far as the first two episodes go, you can watch it with family. I don’t recall seeing any kissing scenes in either of the two episodes.
Final Verdict
The series has just started, and the cliffhanger it ended on makes us want to know what happens next. As for the actresses’ performances and production value, everything about the series felt quite good to me. I don’t want to judge the series based on just two episodes, but I’d still say the two episodes were very interesting and amazing for me. If only Jio Hotstar would stop putting 30 ads in a 1-hour episode. Because I haven’t taken a Jio subscription. I watched this series using my brother’s Jio Hotstar subscription, where a total of 30 ads appeared in a 1-hour episode. If they reduce this, there really wouldn’t be any other flaws in the series.
Based on the current episodes of the series, I’d easily give this series an 8.5 rating, and I think the series is going to get even more amazing moving forward.

Honestly, I stumbled upon it while mindlessly scrolling through a list of romantic dramas one quiet Saturday night. The title caught my attention, Oxford has a certain pull, doesn’t it? The allure of cobblestone streets, vintage libraries, and the haunting poetry of old academia. I thought I was about to settle into a charming love story in an ivy-clad university town. What I got was so much more—it was a film that gripped my heart, stirred emotions I wasn’t ready for, and left me quietly devastated in the most beautiful way possible.
We know the feeling--that hunger for something soft, something sentimental but intelligent, a tale that is not demeaning to your intelligence but also not burying you in cynicism. That was I. And when I read the blurb of My Oxford Year I thought, OK, an ambitious young American woman finding her way in life, love and dreams in Oxford? That will be ideal.” I had not thought it would ruin me.
The film is based on Ella Duran, a smart, politically minded US student, who receives the chance of a lifetime- a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University. All is alright on schedule. Her future is all planned out: politics, change, ambition. Yet as is so often the way of life, something, or someone, is destined to come along and turn the world upside down.
Jamie Davenport comes in. Cute, British, arrogantly self-assured, and unbelievably charming. Initially, they are in conflict. It is the old enemies-to-loves thing that we are all used to seeing a million times. However, this is where My Oxford Year is right, it does not stay superficial. Their friendship turns into a soulful and soul-seeking one. A casual impulse to flirtation turns into a serious love affair that has to face the issues of sacrifice, death, meaning, and loss.
Well, here is the thing: My Oxford Year is not a typical love story. It misleads you early on with its clever dialogue, scenic beauty and charged sexual chemistry. Yet behind all that lies a bare, uncompromising story of how weak life is, yet how strong it is to love someone who may not be around the next day.
It is a very well-written screenplay with witty dialogues and poetic scenes, which last a long time after the credits go away. Ella is not a typical female lead-strong, smart, and incredibly driven. But it is this difficulty of life that makes her so relatable: she has to ask the most difficult questions: What do I really want? Who am I if I step off the path I’ve spent years paving?
He is not only the love interest. His tale, without spoiling too much, is heartbreaking and layered enough to see the film as much more than a romance. It has to do with living to the fullest, with deciding to love even when you are aware that the situation may not end happily.
Something that remained in my mind was the fact that the movie has not provided a sugar-coated end. It honored the tale. It did not treat the audience as an idiot. And it refreshed me that love, in its beautiful ugliness, is worth the risk. The acting was top notch- especially the actors. Their chemistry was lived in and genuine. It had instances that were so close that I forgot that I was watching a movie. It was like getting a sneak peak into peoples actual, unedited life.
The thing that fully captured my imagination was the dual emotional nature of the story. It lived in the same world of contradictions, between happiness and melancholy, smiles and sobbing, hopes and despair. The scene-- the visionary towers of Oxford-- only increased the emotional undercurrents. The university town is much more than a background in the film, it becomes a character. The squeaky bookcases, the foggy courtyards and the pubs at midnight all form a romantic and haunted atmosphere.
The music score is small yet strong. All the notes appear to be created to go directly to your soul particularly at the most emotional parts of the film. There is a certain scene when there is a decision and in the background the music swells. I recall being there, with silent teardrops running down my face not because it was sad in a cheap sense but it was real.
My Oxford Year made me get glued to the screen. Not only in the physical sense-but in the emotional sense. It made me question my priorities, things I fear, people I love and things I take granted of. It caused me to think how many times we defer life, how many times we say to ourselves, I will do that when I have more time never realizing that is the one thing we never get enough of.
I recognized myself in the desire Ella has to be in control, in the need to know how the result will be, in the fear of losing the way. But I learned of her, too--how to take the road that runs round instead of straight across sometimes. Love is not always meant to be forever, it is sometimes meant now. And that will do.
My Oxford Year is not a film you see and forget. It is that lingering kind you know, the kind of last words of a love letter that is neatly folded, and stashed away in a drawer only to be thought of during a rainy day. It also brought back to me the reminder that it is not the length of days that make our lives rich, but how far down we are willing to dig to live and love in the number of days we have.
Couldn’t you use a film that would not only wrap you in a warm blanket but also make you laugh, and then break your heart a little? Well My Oxford Year is that film. Yeah, it is a romantic drama. But it is also a tale of who we are, what our purpose is, and how beautiful we are when we are vulnerable.

I would venture to say that 90% of those who have ever watched Pokémon in their lives have also seen this movie. I am sure it is part of many people's childhood.
On this occasion, I want us to take a trip down memory lane. A trip back to when we were children and had no worries.
Let's start with a brief summary for those who don't remember it very well. This was the first Pokémon movie. It was released on July 18, 1998, in Japan.
The story begins with Team Rocket, led by Giovanni. They sought to create a Pokémon strong enough to conquer the world. To do so, they used DNA from Mew, an extremely rare and powerful Pokémon. The project consisted of creating a clone, which would be named Mewtwo.
When Mewtwo awakens, he becomes enraged upon learning that he is a clone and was created for experimentation and to be used as a weapon. This causes him to destroy the laboratory and kill the scientists.
Later, Giovanni manipulates him into believing that he will help him find his identity and purpose in life. At first, this works. Mewtwo briefly becomes his ally, helping him with various criminal operations carried out by Team Rocket. This continues until he discovers the truth, which causes him to destroy Team Rocket's base in a fit of rage. Then, Mewtwo would embark on a journey to discover who he is and whether, as a clone, he has any purpose.
While doing some research before writing this blog, I discovered that this film was not originally intended for children. It turns out that several things were omitted from the Western version. Personally, I recommend watching it again, but in its original language with subtitles. You will notice that there are quite a few differences between the two versions.
For example, what they censored was a scene where Mewtwo's consciousness interacted with that of other experiments. Among them was a girl, who turned out to be the consciousness of the laboratory director's dead daughter. This implied that they were trying to revive her through cloning. It's certainly a very sad scene, and I can understand why it was removed.
Overall, it's a pretty emotional movie. We all remember the famous scene where Ash turns to stone and all the Pokémon cry, bringing him back to life with their tears. That really touches the soul of a 9- or 10-year-old child.
Looking at it from an adult perspective, I can understand why this movie was and is so beloved. And it's not just nostalgia. It really is a good movie. I'm sure anyone watching it for the first time now would think the same thing.
Finally, I want to say that it's incredible how a film that was originally intended for children can tackle such profound issues. Issues such as the loss of a child, the search for who we are and what our purpose is, and the evil in human beings.
Finally, I need to give a rating. Mewtwo Strikes Back deserves an 8/10. And the best thing you can do is watch it again.

Synopsis:Jane and Blanche Hudson were two of the most famous (and most sought-after) names in Hollywood cinema. However, fate had an unpleasant surprise in store for these two sisters, who must share the same house under the most controversial circumstances possible, daily challenging their psychological (and physical) health.
How far can an endless battle of egos take us? What are the causes of these acts in our lives? How can we choose the right side in such a situation? How can we find a way to resolve all the conflicts that arise in the face of such a corrosive and highly destructive "psychological bubble"? These are just some of the many other fascinating questions this movie throws at the audience, making them think deeply about different aspects of human behavior, especially how far it is possible to love those who only harm us (no matter how much love we give them... somehow, the root of evil will always be "planted" there).
In the plot (based on the book of the same name by Henry Farrell), a former child star in the competitive world of showbiz finds herself completely "trapped" in her own home (a somewhat "abandoned" Hollywood mansion) while having to care for her sister (who helped make her famous, but who became paraplegic after an accident). They have no choice but to live under the same roof, but in different circumstances. While Jane is free to go wherever she pleases, Blanche is highly dependent on Jane because she is wheelchair-bound. They were once very famous and sought-after actresses, but over the years they were forgotten, becoming ostracized and bitter.
The script, written by Henry Farrell and Lukas Heller, attempted to create (and did so very well, in fact) a relationship that provides a symbiotic, yet parasitic, narrative structure between the sisters. In a sea of resentments and unresolved situations from a past haunted by ghosts, Jane and Blanche have substantial verbal clashes, which favor the growth of dramatic tension in the plot, which gradually escalates until reaching a good peak at the end of the third act, but which until then is built within a somewhat slow pace, but always of satisfactory quality for investing heavily in the development of its excellent (and intense) duo of protagonists.
There's a very tangible atmosphere of psychological terror throughout the entire plot, from the moment the movie shows Jane and Blanche as children to the moment they become grown women. Even though this time lapse isn't fully explored (in fact, this part of the script is extremely rushed, depriving the audience of a better understanding of some of the conflicts that prevent the two sisters from living more peacefully together in the same place), it's clear that the movie is about a major "settling of scores" between Jane and Blanche, amid the discrepancy in the actresses' fame (one more famous than the other) that separated them as sisters.
Held in a sort of "private prison," Blanche becomes a "hostage" to the whims of her "tormentor," Jane. The irony lies in the fact that, in reality, they both end up being prisoners in the same house (albeit from two completely different perspectives, which the audience must interpret and mentally process after the plot twist is revealed in the final minutes of the third act). I loved how the script managed to "play" with my expectations about what was actually happening. Literally, the plot "subverted" many things I was already imagining but that never happened, thus creating a great "surprise effect" that elevated the quality of the script.
The Hudson sisters attempt to relive their respective pasts through the memories that nourish their own present (and both do so in opposite ways). However, the script creates two distinct narrative threads here (such as Jane's plan to return to the stage), and the viewer inevitably develops a natural empathy for both characters. However, there's a suspense that's always maintained as the "driving force" of the plot (forcing the sisters to "choose" which side to defend in this emotional "tug-of-war"), which can only be fully analyzed after everything is truly over. Until that moment, everything is speculation.
Antagonistic situations permeate the script almost throughout the entire movie. This is quite an admirable feat, because it's precisely the duality of concepts, actions, and thoughts that ends up creating quite "parallel" "worlds" between Jane and Blanche. Thus, it's like watching two separate stories unfold (both with ego, envy, and resentment as arguments), yet at the same time, they're "tied" together by causalities imposed by their own decisions (even though both have their own motivations to remain "rivals" throughout their lives). Amidst all this, there's still room for brief touches of humor, with a prominent level of acidity.
Robert Aldrich's directing is truly masterful, efficiently punctual in its nuances, and, moreover, brutally assertive in both its psychologically "noir" tone and the intensity of everything that happens in the plot (even though there are questionable actions that make it somewhat "unlikely"). Bette Davis and Joan Crawford deliver sensational performances, and the chemistry between them is literally surreal. Davis is mesmerizing from the moment she enters the scene (and remains so throughout the movie), and Crawford is very confident in all the emotions she must convey while playing a physically limited character.
Perhaps one of the few negatives (in terms of cast) this movie has is the group of characters that stand out as supporting characters. They had clear potential for growth, but ended up being underutilized, with insertions that had no major impact on the plot as a whole, and at times, they were also forgotten within the script as complicating factors, having been "discarded" in very escapist ways. Another aspect would be the limited set design, which isn't well-exploited to create better moments of tension and suspense in the plot (which obviously exist, and are great, but could have been even better if they were more numerous and intense).
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? is a true classic of the '60s, reinforcing the cinematic legacy of a period still considered one of the greatest in cinematic history. Despite its relatively simple production (with a well-deserved highlight for the excellent soundtrack that intensifies every event), none of this prevented this movie from becoming a true classic, demonstrating that you don't need a "bloated" budget to produce a project of extreme quality. This is a true lesson in how to make quality movies, using human behavioral psychology as the "raw material" to discuss vitally important issues.

CRÍTICA DE PELÍCULA: “¿Qué fue de Baby Jane?” (1962)
