8 years ago, the world of superheroes also came on television. It wasn't Marvel that carried out this miracle but DC Comics through the CW. Arrow can be considered to all intents and purposes the television forerunner of this genre. Daredevil, Legion, The Boys, all the Marvel / Netflix series and dozens of other TV series from comics, owe at least some of their success to Greg Berlanti's idea of bringing the Green A…More
Finally, the series that will contribute most of the plot to the giant crossover of the CW superhero universe has begun and in what way! Before going into detail with the highlights of this new Arrow chapter let me give you a small recap of what Arrow's last season was and how important and shocking this new season will be. # Source # # Last Season Recap. # Last season Arrow was developed abruptly between events of…More
[SPOILER ALERT! Careful for spoilers from the episode] Perhaps 'series finale' would be a more accurate term for this episode. Really, after this, I'm surprised Arrow was renewed for a season eight at all, however short it is. Even the title implies an end to Oliver's crusade. Unless the ten episodes of the next season is only just a way to push the many possible spin-offs the episode teased. But that's an article o…More
[SPOILER ALERT! Careful for spoilers from the episode!] Disclaimer: I'm writig this review with a bad bout of fever, so in case there are much more typos and the storytelling is less enthralling or complete than usual, please bear wth me.* Talk about a thriller! After the last debacle of an episode, I went into this very sceptical. In fact, when it began, I was less than impressed. Team Arrow against Dinah and the S…More
[SPOILER ALERT! Watch out for spoilers from the episode!] First off, I hated this episode. I can't say why exactly. Am I just getting tired of Arrow? Maybe. Possibly. All I know is, it took me 2 whole weeks to get from the beginning to the ending of a single-40 minute show, and I didn't even realise I'd never finished it until I tried going on to the next one! To me, what that says is either the storyline at this po…More
[SPOILER ALERT! Watch out for spoilers from the episode!] In this episode, Arrow gives us another 'Birds of Prey' story, focused mainly on the famale characters of the show, present and future. Following the release of Laurel's picture alongside a known criminal to the public and Dinah's continuous doubting of her goodness, Laurel decides to stop trying and go full Black Siren once again, seeking out an old criminal…More
Yeah, Arrow is on a roll! This episode was so good, and we didn't even get to see suits or masks! After several episodes in which we'd all but forgotten about Stanley, Oliver's Slabside friend-turned-psycho, the show brings him back in an episode that would not have been wrong for Halloween. Oh, the reveals we got! First, I just want to say, I CALLED IT! I totally called it! Connor from episode 12 *is* Connor Hawke,…More
[Beware! Massive spoilers ahead!] *Curtis: 'Does this mean what I think it means?'* Yes, Curtis, it absolutely does. There's a new Team Arrow in town! Okay, that out of the way, I should say that I'm not really a big fan of this story plot for several reasons. Yes, it's a comic book show, but bringing Robert Queen's unknown daughter *and* having her be the green arrow seems somewhat of a stretch for me. And this epi…More
The perfect end to a story arc and beginning of another, this episode was as exciting as a season finale in itself! Such high stakes! Such intense character moments! Such payoffs, and great tie-ups of character arcs! The episode did a great job of focusing on Diaz, Oliver and Slabside prison, while not totally forgeting about the characters outside the prison by relegating them to mentions either by Oliver or Diaz.…More
The Dragon’s Tale... Who is Ricardo Diaz? Where does he come from? Why is he so hell bent on taking over Star City? What is his ultimate goal? .jpg) After being terrorized by Diaz for more than half a season, we finally get some much needed answers. The episode is about Diaz and his mission just as regular episodes are about Oliver's, taking us back to his early days as a bullied kid in an orphanage to his present s…More
Back to the HOOD (Careful! Major spoilers for Arrow Season 6 Episode 18 below!) .jpg) Everything is crashing down around Oliver's, and the other vigilante’s, ears. The entire SCPD is being controlled by Diaz, as well as most of the justice system. But things are especially bad for Oliver. After firing the Police captain and District Attorney last week, the city's council is looking to impeach him. He is charged to p…More
.jpg) Okay... What just happened?! Wasn't it bad enough that Curtis, Rene and Dinah left team Arrow? Now, Diggle too? Oliver's best friend and 'Brother-in-arms' for the past six years? Damn, arrow! Diaz is becoming a far different threat than the city has faced so far. Lieutenant Dinah Drake and her team of clean cops are cleaned out faster than you can say 'Green Arrow' after going after and arresting Anatoly an ar…More
Twists, twists, twists! Star City is still under siege by Cayden James. Now desperate, Oliver and Dig raid a location they found in the information dump gotten from them by Vince before his death in the last episode. However, Cayden, in his usual smartness, has vacated the place, leaving only a circle of screens on which he appears to communicate with the duo, telling them their working with Vince was a breach of th…More

It's one hell of a thanksgiving! Trust is Based on Honesty... (Late review this episode aired on 17th November) Oliver Queen may no longer be the Green Arrow, but he can still kick ass! But now, more than ever, John taking his place seems to be becoming a permanent thing, especially after revealing the truth about his arm to the team. This episode, truth and honesty, and the consequences of a lack of either is explored. Following from the end of la…More
Vigilante, Deathstroke, and Two Big Reveals .jpg) For the third episode running, Oliver Queen is NOT the Green Arrow. And you know what? It's going great! The tension on the show is palpable, and made even stronger by the continuous delving on long running story arcs. Like I said in my Episode 1 review, Arrow is off the villain-of-the-week track for good. This is proving to be a great tactic I can barely wait for ne…More

‘His name is John Diggle, and he’s the Green Arrow.’ Following the end of last week’s episode where Oliver Queen officially handed the Green Arrow mantle on to John Diggle, this week focuses on the new team dynamics and performance, and Oliver’s other life as Mayor and father. The team’s smooth transition is a mark of how far they’ve grown into their roles, and at first John absolutely kills it as the Green Arrow, d…More
Waoh! Great Scott!! The season premiere of Arrow just blew me away! It was EXPLOSIVE! And I mean that both literally and figuratively. I actually lost count of how many explosions took place during the episode, but while we’ve come to expect such regularly from the series, the best thing about it was the way everything seemed to link back to the massive explosion on Lian Yu that ended last season. Throughout the epi…More
Hello everyone, how are you? After The Flash Review I think it’s about time for the Arrow one, that introduced us ‘’The Flash’’ show and led the way for other successful superhero series like Supergirl. Arrow is another Dc comic that became a series about none other than the hero Green Arrow. It has 5 seasons (a lot I can say, so get ready to for hours of fun) with the premiere date to be at Octo…More
