  1. Baahubali, An Indian Epic Action Movie Review.@bisolamih372d

Bringing to you one of my favorite Indian epic movies of all time titled, Baahubali. Betrayal is a big aspect of this life and everyday, we find people betray each other. It’s nothing new and watching them in movies is a way of sending us a warning about anyone we trust.

Baahubali, a movie which was acted in Tegulu and Tamil language speaks about love, betrayal and loyalty. Movies are meant to entertain us but as for this, it left me emotional and I can rewatch the movie over and over again.

    Movie plot

The captain’s wife of Amburi tribe, Sanga adopted a baby carried by a late woman who emerged from a cave under the mountain. The baby was saved by the gods on the river but later got taken out by the people of Amburi. Siva, the baby was named by Sanga.

Siva, a boy who grew up to loving ascending from the mountain lifts a lingam of Lord Shiva. Immediately, a mask falls from above and Siva was bent on looking for its owner.

Siva meets Avantika, the owner of the mask and hears different stories from her especially about how she departed from Mahishmati, the village. He disguises as a guard and infiltrated the Kingdom so he can rescue Devasena. Bhadra and Kattappa goes in search of Siva for rescuing Devasena.

Eventually, Siva got into a fight with Bhadra and beheads him. In a tale that Siva heard with his parents, they wished to meet Baahubali but it was revealed that Bhadra is the real Mahendra Baahubali and the woman who saved him was his grandmother, Queen Sivagami.

What do I like or hate about the movie

It’s crazy how everything leads to death. This movie kinda tells us about the Indian tradition and how they take their gods seriously. I really do not like the fact that almost everything leads to death.

The killings were a lot and many times, I wonder if the world was like this or if we killed each other after every little offense, so many people will be late now. I also do not like the fact that, Siva’s parents heard the tale of Baahubali after he died and the worst part of it is that Siva killed him. That’s a twist!

How this movie influences me and the people around me

It made me think about the Indian culture and made me more interested. This shows how much the Indian people cherish their gods. I’m from an African country where we have real gods but we do not take them seriously because most people are now practicing other religions.

Talking about Indians, they are always ready and happy to believe their gods and it works for them. Many times, I wish we could just be like Indians so we can get used to our gods and that can as well preserve our culture.

The most memorable scene in the movie

Even though there are so many lovely scenes, I think no one is better than the first scene. As short as the first scene is, there was a suspense. At first, I thought the two men will kill the woman carrying the baby and take the baby. They went in search of her but things turned around. She killed them!

Secondly, I thought the baby was going to drown as well but he didn’t. The gods of Indian really saved the baby that they kept him alive on the water before the people of Ambuli tribe came to save him.

Baahubali is divided into two parts which are the beginning and conclusion. There is no way you will watch the beginning and not want to watch the conclusion because of how interesting it is.

I highly recommend this movie to everyone especially people who wish to know more about the Indian tradition. It’s an interesting movie that deserves 9/10 rating. Watch it and you will love it!

    Thanks for reading

  2. Baahubali part 1 - Movie review (ENG/ESP)@blacktarri929d

    ENGLISH

    I rate this movie a 10/10

Released: 2015-04-27 Genre: Action, Fantasy, Drama Duration: 168 min Country: India Production: Arka Media Works

This is my top Indian movie that I have watched that got me hooked so far. I have watched this movie a very long time ago and I have lost count on how many times I have repeatedly watch it. Although it is not spoken in English but since when did we allow that to stop us from enjoying a good movie when there are subtitles? The movie started at when the queen mother got escaped from the palace after a brutal killing of the rightful hair to the throne, the captivation of the rightful Queen, and in pursue of killing the new baby king. The Queen mother "Sivagami Devi" run away with the grandchild "Baahubali" in the very day of his birth and the day of the death of his father baahubali. Trying to explain this movie in a way that will not give you too much spoiler alert will do a lot better because trust me you don't want to hear all this spoiler alert before you even start watching this movie.

    Bahubali-2-6.jpg

In order to save this child after being chased by the Palace guards to kill her and the baby which was publicly crown as the king got her to sacrifice her life to protect the child. On the run some villagers from the neighboring village who didn't even know about their Kingdom got to rescue the child and brought him up to a man. I know I am rushing this and that is because I don't want to give too much spoiler alert if only you know how much you are missing if you have not washed this movie yet. Throughout baahubali stages of growing, he had always want to climb the mountain to the very top as that was where he was coming from unknowingly to the villagers and himself but his instincts keep drawing him to the top of the mountains. Will bahubali finally make it up there to discover the truth about himself?

It is true that destiny cannot run away from us and no matter how we try we as well cannot run away from destiny. This landed baahubali into finally getting to the very top with an inspiration of a founded face mask that belonged to his yet to be found love "Avantika" this movie was overall the great storyline of baahubali's father and uncle. Since this part of the story is focused on the part 1 of the movie, The part 2 will be when I talk about the finally war which means I have to cut it out of this publication. Avantika was a beautiful young girl who among the few people that left town was her parents after the incident that led to baahubali's father's death that enslaved most of their people. I personally believe that Avantika was born in the hidden mountains as she was very young to even recognize bahubali.

Even before he saw her, he had already fall in love with her which was kind of unique as that inspired him to get through the difficulties he was having to climb to mountains. On his very first day of discovering the other world happened to be the day he got to see the love of his life in some short of trouble but being a strong woman she helped herself as she got to fight for herself and at the other hand baahubali watching from his hide in admiration. The young girl among the family that got to escape from the slavery where constantly planning on how they could rescue their Queen "Devasena" and unknowingly to baahubali trying to fight alongside with this pretty girl to rescue whoever she want to restore since he loved her so much and couldn't bear to watch her go fight by herself. One of the things that touched me really much was the fact that baahubali was willing to rescue a woman which is his mother for the sake of his love for the young girl not knowing it is his own blood he was about saving.

    25baahubali-universe5.jpg

Getting to the palace disguising himself as one of the guards in order to find his way around was a pretty much smart move as the kingdom was big and powerful to be over thrown by just one person. Although baahubali was not just an ordinary person but a king as well as is Uncle who was pretty powerful and skilful. The return of baahubali got us to discover that the Uncle "Bhallaladeva" I'd already had a son named "Bhadrudu" who was the current head to the throne since his father was the leading King. The good people who were captivated as slaves for the love they had for baahubali had Lost their hopes but not until an incident happened and they got to see the new baahubali's face which was a photocopy of the Father and got their hopes high again once more. What will happen when baahubali discovers the true and learn about the death of his father, the captivation of his mother and the suffering of his beloved people?

Baahubali parte 1 - Reseña de la película

    baahubali-collage-825.jpg

  3. CineTv contest: Foreign cinema: My unforgettable experience with the movie baahubali@dwixer1836d

All you must have observed in the movie baahubali was war, snap it out, the movie held much meaning than just the show of mastery in swordsmanship. Baahubali is an India movie that featured values for culture, this was seen from their style of dressing, the energy put in the tradition to protect a woman carrying a burning coal until she got to the altar, and the passing on of incomplete task to the next generation. You may wonder why I have unforgettable experience with this movie, sit tight let's ride along.

I watched this movie a year ago while in my final year, at first it was just like any other film of war and conquer until I watched it the second time translated in English. The movie taught me courage, resilience, and true leadership. The man baahubali was the strongest and wisest, yet, he humbled himself and lived among the common people. I realised victory in life sometimes is not all about ones strength but the kind of people around him, baahubali chose the common people not minding his background and they remained loyal to him.

The protagonist in this movie was not quick to identify himself among strangers, I found this quality attractive. Most times we are tenpted to let the world know who we are quicker than necessary, as much as possible baahubali was reserved about letting the world know who he was. This attitude was what he portrayed when he went to espouse a lady from a different town. He preferred to live a simple life, I learnt to observed this simplicity in my life after watching this movie and it had helped me maintain some level of peace.

Vision doesn't just die, it is passed on to the next generation. This is another beautiful experience I learnt from the movie. His brother rejoiced after the death of baahubali, he must have assumed his dreams died with him, but no, it continued with his seed. It's very important that we write our goals down clearly, our offsprings might just be the ones who will take up the banner and accomplish this dreams. Our visions still live on if it is clearly defined, an important lesson I picked from the movie.

Finally, live for something and die for something.. let your existence have a meaning as well as your death. Its not enough to just live, until you live for something. Baahubali died in other for his son to live and probably grow up to fight and bring freedom to his people. This idea helped shaped my life into finding purpose. Maybe I was living too carelessly until I encountered this movie, and the experience is unforgettable because it has shaped my life as well as my thought pattern.

I bet your life would be transformed if you watch this movie baahubali and follow it carefully.
