Within our hearts as humans and if we try to be honest with one another, we all crave the same thing and deep down within our soul which governs our conscience, we can see that we are more alike than ever. Although some may be different in a little way, they could hide their curves, looks, thoughts, and sometimes their true being from others but when you finally gain the opportunity to see their true personality, you will come to the understanding that humans all have more in common than we think. One thing I am most certain of is we all crave that feeling of loving someone or being loved by someone, it's one thing some have described as the best feeling we could experience as humans during the course of our existence here on planet earth. Books, songs, and above all movies have been made with this human feeling or emotion as the main thematic preoccupation of the work, for some, they have even been described as the motivation behind their masterpiece.
For me, I can say it was a lovely weekend, well spent with the person I care about and I kid you not, the atmosphere was filled with romance in a way that hasn't been felt in while but the best parts are still yet to come.
Oops!!!
Please let's stay focused on the main course of this writing which happens to be my thoughts on the Love movie, ME BEFORE YOU starring Emilia Clarke. Since it was a date night and it has been proven with some statistical reviews from some trusted allies that one of the best ways to end a date night, would be a nice Netflix and Chill vibe for the night. So who am I not to follow the statistics or the numbers?
Although I also got a few recommendations from friends when asking for advice on romantic movies to watch on date night, in which most of them recommended I should try out Me Before You. It was a bit difficult to get a hold of the movie since it happens not to be on Netflix, but never underestimate the power of a man desperate for a romantic movie during date night. So by the time I laid my hands on it, I had to watch it with all serious devotion in order not to miss a damn thing.

OMG!
All I have to say first is Emilia Clarke is indeed a talented actress, how she could dynamically change her appearance, acting skill, facial gestures, and above all manner of approach towards things and life was simply top-notch and crowd applauding. Coming from a place of being a huge fan of hers, right from a fiery dramatic role as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit series Game of Thrones, I was left with nothing but amazement, cause of the way she presented herself as a meek and loving country girl who believes in the ideology that someday she would find the love of her life and build a family of hers with that person.

The movie focuses on the lead characters, in the person of Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin. It talks about the love that could exist between a caregiver and the person being cared for. Being a country girl in search of a job as a means of income, Lou (played by Emilia) decides to pick up a job as a caregiver to the needs of Will (played by Sam Claflin). Their relationship started off on a cold note because of the fact that Will was giving the usual hostile attitude he had always put on toward previous caregivers, all because he feels really bitter for being paralyzed which wasn't how he used to be.

Things began to take a lovely turn when feelings began to creep in, Will began to see that Lou wasn't just like any other caregiver who was only there to perform their duties since it was a job and they were getting paid for it, instead, she became fully invested his interests, hobbies and above all seeing him happy. She always gave him that feeling that his condition wasn't the end of life and most importantly there is still more to live for. Oh my, one could no longer deny that he had fallen for her when it became obvious that the Will everybody had once known as sober, sarcastic, and bitter after surviving the accident was now jovial, happy, smiling, and even willing to leave the house to attend events. This new evolvement of Will made his parents happy, and above all his mother was so excited about the work Lou had done unconsciously.

In the end, it's sad to know that the movie didn't give its viewers that happy fairy tale ending you can get from some romantic movies, instead, it gave us a more plausible ending that could be narrowed down to the reality of things in our world of today. Honestly, I felt Lou deserved more and her love story should have gotten a better ending, but well well, that is life. Sometimes even the good ones don't get the miracle they deserve, only compensation in some other form. If you are eager to find out what the ending looked like, then I say you should go and try the movie out.
