And it's not because I don't like it, if I half remembered the plot and that the main character has the voice of Dazai's character in Bungou Stray Dogs, it's just that the name didn't get to me, now that I know it, I'll give you my opinions about it and why you should watch it.
Ouran High School Host Club (桜蘭高校ホスト部)…
Released in 2006, under the direction of Takuya Igarashi and the Bones studio, it is a drama, reverse harem and dramatic comedy.
As for the plot…
Haruhi Fuijioka is a lower-middle class girl, a scholarship student at the prestigious Ouran Academy, a prestigious school for rich kids; in it we can find the Host Club where basically it is a group of boys who seek to entertain the girls, who are clients of the same, with food, theme parties, performances and many more (it's almost like fulfilling their romantic fantasies). Each of them play the typical characters found in Shojo: “the princely one”, “the strong and silent one”, “the devilish one” and so on.
Haruki, trying to find a quiet place to study, enters what looked like a music room, but to his surprise it was the Host Club, where he accidentally breaks a vase worth 8,000,000 yen. To pay the debt, he must work in the club, at first as an errand boy, because at first he confuses her sex by the appearance that this carries, then also becomes one of the hosts.
Little by little, each of the members will discover that Haruki is a girl, trying in the long run to hide her identity so that she can continue in the club, where they will also live funny misunderstandings, various experiences, some pleasant and others not so much, but that will certainly make you get a few laughs, in addition to this contrast between rich and poor, will give quite witty scenes.
Personal opinion
Although it is a romantic shojo, the truth is that it has more comedy than romantic scenes, in terms of the characters, each one has a unique personality, which makes you like them a lot because they give harmony and at the same time contrast to the whole story, that is, we have versatility in that sense. The relationships of each of the boys with Haruhi I feel is unique, besides, despite their social class differences, they treat her well and try to understand her.
The personality of the main character I must admit that I love her and she gets a few laughs out of me, she is intelligent and I like how she sets a goal and fights for it; a bit clueless when it comes to love, however, I can identify with her. Although the story is simple, it covers a little bit of everything, especially the fact that, despite being rich kids, you have your unfortunate problems and obligations, which makes the plot versatile.
Although the design of the characters is not the best, more for its elongated anatomy, even so, for the years since its release, the design of the same is understood and somehow you get used to it and get used to it and get attached to it.
Positive points…

-There was no continuation of the animated story.

Y no es porque no me gustará, si medio recordaba la trama y que el protagonista tiene la voz del personaje de Dazai en Bungou Stray Dogs, es que el nombre no me llegaba, ahora que lo sé, les daré mis opiniones al respecto y por qué deberían verla.

Estrenado para el año 2006, bajo la dirección de Takuya Igarashi y del estudio Bones, de genero drama, harem reverso y comedia dramática.
En cuanto a la trama…
Haruhi Fuijioka es una chica de clase media-baja, becada en la prestigiosa Academia Ouran, una prestigiosa escuela para niños ricos; en ella podemos encontrar el Club de Anfitriones (Host Club) donde básicamente es un grupo de chicos que buscan entretener a las chicas, que son clientas del mismo, con comida, fiestas temáticas, actuaciones y muchos más (es casi como cumplirles sus fantasías románticas). Cada uno de ellos interpretan los personajes típicos que encontramos en el Shojo: “el principesco”, “el fuerte y silencio”, “el diabólico y así sucesivamente.
Haruki al tratar de buscar un lugar tranquilo para estudiar, entra en lo que parecía un salón de música, pero para su sorpresa era el Host Club, donde por accidente, rompe un jarrón valorad por 8.000.000 yenes. Para pagar dicha deuda, deberá trabajar en dicho club, al principio como el chico de los recados, pues en un principio la confunde de sexo por la apariencia que esta porta, luego pasa a ser también uno de los anfitriones.
Poco a poco, cada uno de los integrantes irán descubriendo que Haruki es chica, tratando a la larga de ocultar su identidad para que pueda seguir en el club, donde también se vivirán divertidos malentendidos, diversas experiencias, unas agradables y otras no tanto, pero que sin duda te harán sacar unas cuantas risas, además de este contraste entre ricos y pobres, darán escenas bastante ocurrentes.
Opinión personal
Aunque es un shojo romántico, la verdad tiene más de comedia que escenas románticas, en cuestión de los personajes, cada uno tiene su personalidad única, que te llegan agradar mucho porque le dan como una armonía y a la vez contraste a toda la historia, es decir, tenemos versatilidad en ese sentido. Las relaciones de cada uno de los chicos con Haruhi siento que es única, además de que, a pesar de sus diferencias de clases sociales, ellos la tratan bien y buscan comprenderla.
La personalidad de la protagonista debo admitir que me encanta y me saca unas cuantas risas, es inteligente y me gusta como se traza una meta y lucha por ello; algo despistada en el tema del amor, no obstante, puedo llegar a identificarme con ella. Aunque la historia es sencilla, abarca de todo un poco, sobre todo el hecho de que, a pesar de ser chicos ricos, tienes sus lamentables problemas y obligaciones, lo que vuelve versátil la trama.
Aunque el diseño de los personajes no es de los mejor, más por su anatomía alargada, aun así, por los años desde su estreno, se entiendo el diseño de los mismos y que de algún modo te llegas acostumbrar y agarrarle cariño.

-No hubo continuación de la historia animada.

Podemos encontrar varias opiniones si continuar la versión animada, porque muchos piensan que, si animan la historia, debe hacerse desde el inicio, es decir sacar nuevamente la primera temporada, pero algunos están en contra, ya que es mejor darle esa temporada y ya, no hacerle un remake. Si la vieron o tienen pensado verla ¿Qué piensan? ¿Deberían sacar nuevamente la versión animada desde el principio o que se quede sola esa temporada?
