Me encantan The Beatles, a mi parecer una de las mejores bandas de la historia. Por tal, al enterarme del lanzamiento de esta película y su trama, se volvió un obligado a ver. Lo que hice a poco de su estreno, la he vuelto a ver en Netflix estos días, y aquí les dejo mis comentarios. La película se estrenó el 2019, siendo su director el conocido Danny Boyle.
I love The Beatles, in my opinion one of the best bands in history. Therefore, when I heard about the release of this movie and its plot, it became a must see. Which I did shortly after its release, I watched it again on Netflix these days, and here are my comments. The film was released in 2019, being its director the well-known Danny Boyle.
Jack Malik es un músico que no ve cómo avanzar en su carrera musical, al punto que ha decidido cerrar esa etapa de su vida; sin embargo, luego de un apagón momentáneo mundial, se da cuenta de un particular hecho, todas las personas han olvidado a The Beatles y su música. El decide tomar ese hecho en su favor, usando las composiciones olvidadas como propias, generando varios acontecimientos en su vida.
Jack Malik is a musician who does not see how to move forward in his musical career, to the point that he has decided to close that stage of his life; however, after a momentary worldwide blackout, he realizes a particular fact, all people have forgotten The Beatles and their music. He decides to take that fact in his favor, using the forgotten compositions as his own, generating several events in his life.
Esta película parte con una premisa mágica, del tipo que me gusta bastante, historias que funcionan bastante bien en el cine. La trama es entretenida, con unos personajes principales divertidos. Eso sí, la trama no arriesga o profundiza mucho en los temas que trata, quedando más como una película familiar para disfrutar y punto. Por otro lado, la resolución final, no me convence del todo, sintiéndose muy irreal.
This film starts with a magical premise, the kind I like quite a lot, stories that work quite well in cinema. The plot is entertaining, with fun main characters. However, the plot does not risk or deepen much in the issues it deals with, being more like a family movie to enjoy and that's it. On the other hand, the final resolution doesn't convince me at all, feeling very unrealistic.
En las actuaciones, el trabajo de Himesh Patel(Jack Malik), Lily James(Ellie, amiga de Jack) y Joel Fry(Rocky, amigo de Jack), funciona bastante bien. Incluso veremos a un Ed Sheeran interpretándose como el mismo, que le aporta comicidad al conjunto.
In the performances, the work of Himesh Patel(Jack Malik), Lily James(Ellie, Jack's friend) and Joel Fry(Rocky, Jack's friend), works quite well. We even get to see an Ed Sheeran playing himself, which adds comedy to the ensemble.
Y bien, esta película no funcionaria si no tuviera la música de The Beatles en todo lo que dura. Se escuchan diversos éxitos de la banda, y su música como ya mencione me parece de lo mejor, así que, si gustas de este grupo, no te lo puedes perder. Los demás aspectos técnicos cumplen, especialmente en los escenario musicales, el hecho en la cima de un hotel, luce increíble.
And well, this movie wouldn't work if it didn't have The Beatles' music throughout. You can hear several of the band's hits, and their music, as I already mentioned, is one of the best, so if you like this group, you can't miss it. The other technical aspects are good, especially in the musical scenes, the one on top of a hotel, looks amazing.
Me gusto esta película, tiene demasiadas cosas que disfruto ver, solo me queda recomendarla, especialmente si te gusta The Beatles.
I liked this movie, it has too many things I enjoy watching, I can only recommend it, especially if you like The Beatles.
