One of the genres in which Netflix works is True Crime. The platform has already reaped many successes with these productions.

Spain is an important country for streaming platforms. Netflix has achieved several successes, not only in the field of True Crime. Spanish fiction has also caught on among the platform's subscribers. Let us recall the case of La Casa de Papel, which became a worldwide success. Other platforms (Prime Video, Movistar +) are also betting on Spanish productions.

About the real case, I will not give information, so as not to harm the viewing of people who want to see it and do not know anything about that crime. Although the internet is full of information, because the fact happened in 2013. I remember I found out at that time reading news about crimes on the web. If you don't mind finding out everything that happened before watching the series, you can surf the internet. Yotube is now full of videos on the subject, and content creators on that platform want to gain views by riding whatever is trending.

The praise the miniseries has received is well deserved. There are only six episodes. That's enough. I liked that it was not unnecessarily long. It lasts just long enough and recreates the events correctly, of course, like any work that adapts a real event, there are small changes to make both the rhythm and the narration of the events work.

The play in general is outstanding in all aspects. Script, direction, costumes, makeup. But undoubtedly the most outstanding, and those who have seen it agree, are the excellent performances of the cast. Especially those who play the Basterra Porto couple.

Sobre el caso real, no daré información, para no perjudicar el visionado de las personas que quieran verlo y no sepan nada de ese crimen. Aunque internet está lleno de información, porque el hecho ocurrió en 2013. Recuerdo que me enteré en esa época leyendo noticias sobre crímenes en la web. Si no te importa enterarte de todo lo que pasó antes de ver la serie, puedes navegar por internet. Yotube está ahora lleno de vídeos sobre el tema, y los creadores de contenidos de esa plataforma quieren ganar visitas montando lo que sea trending.

Los elogios que ha recibido la miniserie son bien merecidos. Sólo hay seis episodios. Es suficiente. Me gustó que no fuera innecesariamente larga. Dura lo justo y recrea los hechos correctamente, claro que, como toda obra que adapta un hecho real, hay pequeños cambios para que funcione tanto el ritmo como la narración de los hechos.

La obra en general es sobresaliente en todos los aspectos. Guión, dirección, vestuario, maquillaje. Pero sin duda lo más destacable, y los que la han visto están de acuerdo, son las excelentes interpretaciones del reparto. Especialmente los que interpretan a la pareja Basterra Porto.

Candela Peña is a Spanish film actress with a long career. You may have seen her in recent years in series, but most of her career has been in film. I saw her for the first time in Días Contados, a film that I liked very much at the time. Veteran actor Tristán Ulloa plays the role of Alfonso Basterra. Another professional who stands out. Both actors complement each other, something very important to give credibility to their characters and keep the viewer surprised with the recreation of the crime. Added to all this is the character of Judge Vasquez played by another all-around actor: Javier Gutierrez. The rest of the cast also shines and are familiar faces. Whoever was in charge of the casting, got it right with the selections.

Candela Peña es una actriz de cine española con una larga trayectoria. Puede que la hayas visto en los últimos años en series, pero la mayor parte de su carrera ha sido en cine. Yo la vi por primera vez en Días Contados, una película que me gustó mucho en su momento. Por supuesto, no todas las producciones en las que ha trabajado han sido un éxito rotundo, pero es una actriz que siempre destaca. Me parece una actriz con una fuerte personalidad. En los programas de entrevistas lo hace muy bien, es muy ingeniosa y habla hasta por los codos. Probablemente muchos jóvenes la conozcan por sus apariciones en el popular programa La Resistencia.

Conociendo su personalidad o lo que intenta ser en los programas de televisión, se aprecia aún más su trabajo interpretando a Rosario Porto. Físicamente se ayuda de maquillaje y peluca, pero es en su personalidad donde acierta. Interpreta a alguien completamente opuesto a ella. Se contiene a la hora de hablar y recitar los diálogos, su expresión corporal. Hace lo que todo buen actor: transformarse. Además, la actriz tuvo que utilizar el acento gallego sin parecer ridícula. En una entrevista que concedió a un programa de radio, expresó que este papel le producía muchos nervios.

El veterano actor Tristán Ulloa interpreta el papel de Alfonso Basterra. Otro profesional que destaca. Ambos actores se complementan, algo muy importante para dar credibilidad a sus personajes y mantener al espectador sorprendido con la recreación del crimen. A todo esto se suma el personaje del juez Vásquez interpretado por otro actor todo terreno: Javier Gutiérrez. El resto del reparto también brilla y son caras conocidas. Quien se encargó del casting, acertó de pleno con las selecciones.

The Story first follow Anna, a beautiful woman who one night met a handsome man named Nick. After that night the couple continue seen each other and sooner start a relationship without knowing the world of lies she is about to enter.

This is the premise that The Image of You is bringing to the audience, a movie directed by Jeff Fisher and starring by Sasha Pieterse in the role of the twins Anna and Zoe, and Parker Young as Nick. This is a story that will be proving the honesty and trust between the twin sister and Nick, the three are now entangled in a love triangle for the acts of Zoe to found out the most nasty truth about Nick without thinking in Anna feelings and judging him without really know him. In the past Zoe already betrayed Anna and now she is doing it again. At the end we will discover if the sisters relationship is so strong to forgive everything one more time or if this time they are going to take a different path.

Storyline of The Image of You

The Image of You is an exciting drama, it tells the story of the identical twins Anna and Zoe who have a tight bond but also a history of sibling rivalry. Anna instantly falls in love with a handsome and prosperous trader, I wonder if they adapt this script to current times; her first thought she has found her ideal candidate, but Zoe doubts the man’s intentions and decides to find the truth about him been the problem the more Zoe investigates into the stock trader’s past, more she finds a world full of lies and deceits, she then finds out that he is an insider trader and that he exploits and uses women for his own satisfaction, a fraud, scammer probably similar to the Tinder Scammer. Zoe has decided to unravel the man real character and keep her sister safe from him but at the same time, Anna is not aware of the menace she is in and only falling deeper in love with the stock trader that I would guess at any time can bring her into his business model and left them broke. Anna is caught between her origins in her sister and her emotions for the man she thinks is her twin flames on a daily. Their relationship as sisters was beginning to strain as they are faced with their own fears and insecurities and they had to reconsider the values they have. The movie is a roller coaster of twists and turns as the unprepared sisters make their way through the dangerous world of finance and take the heat for their actions, this kind of drama some times are attractive, just drama no action but the surprises you get caught at. The plot focuses on issues of family relationship, sibling rivalry and the hazards of unquestioning trust, I think the audience will be sure to be kept wanting more as the movie moves forward trying to figure out whats going to happen next, that is basically the main attractive of any good drama, some wishing for the sisters to overcome their struggles and grow even stronger and more united.

Jeff Fisher is an American director and writer. After his graduation Fisher moved to Los Angeles where he start his career, he filmed the music video Dreams I Dreams, video that won the grand prize in Billboards national song for video production. While working as a talent agent assistant at International Creative Management, the director made two short films, Garage Sake starred by Claire Forlani & Nestor Carbonell and Angels, Baby! a musical comedy starring Laura Leighton. With the Hallmark Channel he directed the movie My Christmas Love, which Fisher brought in on time and under budget, the romantic comedy was well received by the audience, becoming Hallmarks highest rated film of the year. Fisher also has work in different projects in TV series such as The Simple Life with Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Real World, A Bachelor to Die with For with Parker Young and Annie Illonzeh and many others. Now in 2024 the director brings his new project, The Image of You, a movie about a tortuous love triangle, starring by Sasha Pieterse and Parker Young in the main leads.

The Image of You is a story of betrayal, distrust and lies. A story about Ana and Zoe, twin sister that has a complicated relationship with Anna trying to gain trust in a new relationship, where she feels that she found her perfect match but with Zoe creating an unhealthy environment between her sister and her boyfriend, and more when she decided to spent one night with her sister boyfriend. Knowing all that we start thinking if she really is trying to take care of her sister from a bad person, I am saying that because Zoe truly believed that Anna’s boyfriend in hiding something really bad and will hurt her, or all this scenario that Zoe has created is because she is jealous of her sister happiness and needs to ruin everything. The story of a bad sister and the good one and a man in the middle of both, a man that is in love of the good one but for spent the night with the evil sister his life will turned into a nightmare. Is really a interesting premise and I really will like to confirmed how this triangle ends.

The movie series Planet of the Apes, initially was adapted from the 1963 French novel "La Planète des Singes" by Pierre Boulle ,which translate to The Planet of The Apes; is popular among movie fans worldwide. The first iteration of the Planet of the Apes movie series that debuted in 1968 was directed by Franklin J. Schaffner with Charlton Heston in the lead role, the success of this movie initiated a line to association items such as the spawning of sequels, television series and remakes.

The idea for a film on that book was developed by producer Arthur Jacobs having purchased the rights for its script from Boulle and involvement of the television show creator Rod Serling. The movie is known for its makeup creation, made by John Chambers is an award winning makeup artist who earned an honorary Oscar for the work, although until today none of the movies have won any Oscar for make up or effects, although did won an honorary award for the original movie back in 1968.

The Planet of the Apes franchise has been entertaining audiences for over 50 years, with a total of nine films released to date and because there is another movie coming up soon in 2024 "Kingdom of The Planet of Apes" I wanted to know where to put all these entries as the number of them is increasing every day, the following article will instruct you on the movie’s trilogy watch order, both chronologically and by release.

Best Three Movies From The Franchise

With nine films released to date and another on the way, the franchise has seen its fair share of highs and lows but there have been a few of them that quite stand out, today I would like to talk a bit about the three movies that I consider might be the best out of all current nine but this might change in the near future because the success that the current iteration has had, I'll give details of why they are special, who were the directors, and if they won any awards.

1. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)

Directed by Matt Reeves, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is widely recognize as the best movie in the franchise, this time set ten years after the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes and follows Caesar, the leader of a growing ape community, as he struggles to maintain peace with a group of human survivors.

What sets Dawn of the Planet of the Apes apart from other versions and remakes in the franchise is its stunning visual effects and emotional show from both sides humans and apes, who would have though this could be a reality from an Ape movie but it does, I guess by then there was already a lot of AI been implemented, we only talking ten years go. The shots to capture motion as they go through the forest and city allows for incredibly realistic interaction of the apes, making it easy for audiences to connect with them on multiple levels, the movie also features strong performances from its human cast, including Jason Clarke and Gary Oldman.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, here some of the awards it won:

2. Planet of the Apes (1968)

Directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, the original Planet of the Apes is a classic of science fiction cinema, the movie follows astronaut George Taylor (Charlton Heston) as he crash lands on a planet ruled by intelligent apes who treat humans as inferior beings, different than some of its latter on versions or remakes the original movie includes space exploration while some others are develop on Earth.

What makes Planet of the Apes special is back then was the one that provoke the audience to want more details of this alternate planet where Apes rule, know about their society, customs and many other details that have not been touch on many movies before the franchise started. The film's twist ending, in which Taylor discovers the remains of the Statue of Liberty, is one of the most memorable moments in cinema history setting a precedent of an alter dimension or what would be called now days The Multiverse, the movie also features impressive makeup and costume design, which earned it an honorary Academy Award.

Directed by Matt Reeves, War for the Planet of the Apes is the third and final film in the rebooted Planet of the Apes trilogy, not to get confuse as the final movie since there were others after it. The movie this time around follows Caesar as he leads his ape community in a war against a ruthless human army led by the Colonel (Woody Harrelson).

What sets War for the Planet of the Apes apart from other movies in the franchise is some action sequences as this is a true war movie, with stunning battle sequences and high risks mostly from the Apes side who has a lot to win, it also features quieter moments that allow for character development and emotional connection with the audience, not everything is about war on the movie, similar to its predecessor movie on 2014 it also has a lot of great shots showing the Apes skills as they move forward and charge against humans.

War for the Planet of the Apes was nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, here some of the awards it won too:

In conclusion, both orders have their advantages and the choice ultimately depends on your preference. If you want to experience the franchise as it was initially released, go with the release order or if you prefer to follow the events in the order they occur within the Apes universe, choose the chronological order that I have come up with based on information I found online, also take in consideration that the 2024 version is part of a new trilogy that follows a new story not anymore on Cesar, this time is a new Ape character, Noa, with similar story but several twist that make them unique although I haven't seen this version yet.

Many movies to this day still try to come close to the feat accomplished by Metropolis, which is nothing more than the greatest and most authentic form of German expressionism within the cinematic universe, but still fail to even scratch the surface of what has already been done so far. then. Written and directed by Fritz Lang (based on the book written by Thea von Harbou, who, incidentally, was his wife) with a totally visionary eye, this movie is cinema in its essence.

In the plot, there is a division of classes (rich and poor) that is classified between those who plan the city (the bosses) and those who build them (in this case, the workers). This hierarchy will be completely shaken when the son of the biggest boss falls in love with a simple girl who makes speeches about the predatory system that oppresses the side where she lives. In an attempt to put an end to the future couple's plans, a robot is created to destroy any libertarian plans.

Within this intriguing premise (which is extremely rich in so many aspects... after all, the movie was released in 1927), one of the things that fascinates me most (for managing to convey a more emphatic vision of the future for human beings) are the advances technological features that are presented throughout the execution of the project. The way this city “grows” before our eyes (as viewers) within an automated urban system is something very surreal.

Whether it's the issue of transport (and their respective road systems), the designs of the buildings (which are beautiful) or the cybernetic part (the creation of the robot is a very strong point within the plot), absolutely everything in this movie tends to be impressive because it is something so ahead of its own time. The urban planning aspect has a lot of weight in the plot, because a good part of it is concentrated on the technological development that governs the city.

Rethinking The Future

The concept of a “modern city” that was launched at that time through this movie is jaw-dropping, because the ideas presented in it are very advanced (and many of them, even after so many decades, still fail to become a reality). This cinematographic legacy flirts with our reality, which, even though it is still far from the achievements presented in the movie, still speaks to this glimpse of the future with other applications (in the early stages).

There is no doubt that in many aspects, Metropolis is a movie that needs to be taken into consideration when it comes to planning cities with smarter urbanization and technological evolution appropriate to the realities of each region. Even within a “utopian” vision, the project is very rich in its ideas and can function as a great model of the future to be replicated in its entirety (obviously with the necessary improvements) someday.

La forma en que esta ciudad “crece” ante nuestros ojos (como espectadores) dentro de un sistema urbano automatizado es algo muy surrealista.

Ya sea el tema del transporte (y sus respectivos sistemas viales), los diseños de los edificios (que son hermosos) o la parte cibernética (la creación del robot es un punto muy fuerte dentro de la trama), absolutamente todo en esta película tiende a impresionante porque es algo muy adelantado a su tiempo. El aspecto urbanístico tiene mucho peso en la trama, porque buena parte del mismo se concentra en el desarrollo tecnológico que rige la ciudad.

El concepto de “ciudad moderna” que se lanzó en aquel momento a través de esta película deja boquiabierto, porque las ideas que en ella se presentan son muy avanzadas (y muchas de ellas, incluso después de tantas décadas, aún no logran hacerse realidad). Este legado cinematográfico coquetea con nuestra realidad, que, si bien aún está lejos de los logros presentados en la película, todavía habla de este vistazo al futuro con otras aplicaciones (en sus primeras etapas).

No hay duda de que en muchos aspectos Metrópolis es una película a tener en cuenta a la hora de planificar ciudades con una urbanización más inteligente y una evolución tecnológica adecuada a las realidades de cada región. Incluso dentro de una visión “utópica”, el proyecto es muy rico en ideas y puede funcionar como un gran modelo de futuro para ser replicado en su totalidad (obviamente con las mejoras necesarias) algún día.

Metrópolis: Um legado para o mundo moderno.

Muitos filmes até hoje ainda tentam chegar próximo do feito realizado por Metrópolis, que nada mais é do que a maior e mais autêntica forma do expressionismo alemão dentro do universo cinematográfico, mas por ainda não conseguem ao menos riscar a superfície do que já foi feito até então. Escrito e dirigido por Fritz Lang (com base no livro escrito por Thea von Harbou, que aliás, era esposa dele) com um olhar totalmente visionário, este filme é cinema na sua essência.

Na trama, há uma divisão de classes (ricos e pobres) que é classificada entre aqueles que planejam a cidade (os chefes) e aqueles que as constroem (neste caso, os trabalhadores). Essa hierarquia será totalmente abalada quando o filho do chefe maior se apaixona por uma garota simples que faz discursos sobre o sistema predatório que oprime o lado onde ela vive. Na tentativa de acabar com os planos do futuro casal, um robô é criado para destruir qualquer plano libertário.

Dentro dessa premissa intrigante (que é extremamente rica em tantos aspectos... afinal, o filme foi lançado em 1927), uma das coisas que mais me fascina (por conseguir imprimir uma visão de futuro mais enfática para os seres humanos) são os avanços tecnológicos que são apresentados ao longo da execução do projeto. O modo como essa cidade “cresce” diante dos nossos olhos (enquanto telespectadores) dentro de um sistema urbano automatizado é algo muito surreal.

Seja na questão dos transportes (e seus respectivos sistemas viários), nos designs dos prédios (que são belíssimos) ou na parte cibernética (a criação do robô é um ponto fortíssimo dentro da trama), absolutamente tudo neste filme tende a ser impressionante por ser algo tão a frente do seu próprio tempo. O aspecto de planejamento urbano tem um peso muito grande na trama, porque uma boa parte dela é concentrada no desenvolvimento tecnológico que rege à cidade.

O conceito de “cidade moderna” que foi lançado naquela época através desse filme é algo de cair o queixo, porque as ideias apresentadas nele são muito avançadas (e muitas delas, mesmo depois de tantas décadas, ainda não conseguem ser uma realidade). Esse legado cinematográfico flertar com à nossa realidade, que mesmo ainda estando distante dos feitos apresentados no filme, ainda conversa com esse vislumbre de futuro com outras aplicações (em estágios iniciais).

Não há dúvidas de que em muitos aspectos, Metrópolis é um filme que precisa ser levado em consideração quando o assunto é planejar cidades com uma urbanização mais inteligente e uma evolução tecnológica apropriada as realidades de cada região. Mesmo dentro de uma visão “utópica”, o projeto é bem rico em suas ideias e pode funcionar como um ótimo modelo de futuro a ser replicado em sua totalidade (obviamente com os devidos aperfeiçoamentos) algum dia.

¡Hola amigos! Hoy me pasó por acá para traerles mi opinión sobre la película de comedia romántica del momento, aunque no la catalogaría tanto como comedia, me pareció más un drama romántico. Les estoy hablando de La idea de ti.

Esta película sigue la historia de Solène, una mujer de 40 años divorciada que tiene una hija adolescente a la que su padre prometió llevar al festival Coachella junto con sus amigos para ver a su Boy Band favorita de cuando tenía 10 años, al no poder ir él por un problema de negocios, termina llevándolos Solène. Llegados al lugar del evento, y en un confuso episodio, Solène termina en el tráiler de uno de los vocalista de la banda llamado Hayes Campbell de unos 24 años. Allí empieza una especie de coqueteo por parte de los dos y con el correr de los días vivirán un apasionado romance que será muy criticado por la sociedad y la vida de Solène y la de su hija se verá perjudicada.

This film follows the story of Solène, a 40-year-old divorced woman who has a teenage daughter whom her father promised to take to the Coachella festival along with her friends to see her favorite Boy Band when she was 10 years old, when he could not go because of a business problem, Solène ends up taking them. Seguro que habrán escuchado muchas opiniones con respecto a esta película, algunas duras y otras no tanto. Yo tengo sentimientos encontrados porque me gustó la película, aunque entiendo el punto de que puede tener rasgos cuestionables de acuerdo a la creencia de cada uno. A mí me parece que mientras todos sean mayores de edad está bien que salgan con quienes quieran sin que esto sea un impedimento. Pero también quiero aclarar que estaría en contra si fuera una relación tóxica donde alguno es manipulado por el otro, generalmente el de mayor edad hacía el de menor, pero como no creo que este sea el caso me parece bien el romance.

I'm sure you have heard many opinions regarding this movie, some harsh and others not so much. I have mixed feelings because I liked the movie, although I understand the point that it may have questionable features according to one's belief. It seems to me that as long as everyone is of legal age it is fine for them to date whoever they want without this being an impediment. But I also want to clarify that I would be against it if it were a toxic relationship where one is manipulated by the other, usually the older one towards the younger one, but since I don't think this is the case I am fine with the romance.

También me parece un poco hipócrita criticar cuando la que es mayor de edad es una mujer y el otro un jovencito, nadie lo cuestiona tanto cuando sucede al revés y es visto casi como normal. En esta película quedó demostrado como todo el foco fue puesto en ella y no en él o en el ex marido que la dejó por una mujer mucho más joven en su momento. Ella fue catalogada como la asaltacunas y abusadora. Pero bueno, ya sabemos como son vistos estos casos en la sociedad, quería hacer este descargo antes de dar mi opinión sobre el film.

I also find it a bit hypocritical to criticize when the one who is of age is a woman and the other a young man, no one questions it so much when it happens the other way around and it is seen almost as normal. In this film it was demonstrated how all the focus was put on her and not on him or the ex-husband who left her for a much younger woman at the time. She was labeled as the cradle robber and abuser. Dicho esto, al principio sí me pareció muy graciosa y estaba viviendo el momento con la protagonista, podía entender sus contradicciones y me parecía increíble todo lo que le estaba pasando. La actuación de Anne Hathaway estuvo increíble, sabe muy bien transmitir las emociones que debe sentir su personaje, se debate entre la inseguridad, las dudas, el miedo y la vergüenza. Por otro lado, a él lo sentí muy genuino a pesar de todo, ya que podría haberse visto de entrada como que era un juego de un cantante famoso que quiere experimentar con una mujer mayor, pero al correr de los minutos te das cuenta que lo que siente es real. También me gustó la actuación de Nicholas Galitzine y esto es muy importante para conectar con los personajes y sus historias.

La trama no es de lo mejorcito que haya visto, podría haber estado mejor, pero la verdad que cumple su función de mostrarnos este lado de algo que podría pasar y es entretenida de ver. Hacía la mitad del film y al final se pueden ver tintes más dramáticos, ya que todo se descubre y empieza a ser demasiado para los protagonistas. O más bien, para Solène y su familia porque en ningún momento el ojo público estuvo puesto en Hayes. También tuvo buenos planos y paralelismo, además de momentos de humor que buscan cumplir con la agenda pública pero creo que quedaron un poco colgados en la historia. Pasaron desapercibidos. Así que esta película tuvo sus aciertos y sus errores, no fue perfecta, pero estuvo entretenida.

The plot is not the best I've seen, it could have been better, but the truth is that it fulfills its function of showing us this side of something that could happen and is entertaining to watch. Towards the middle of the film and at the end you can see more dramatic overtones, as everything is discovered and begins to be too much for the protagonists. Or rather, for Solène and her family because at no point was the public eye on Hayes. It also had good shots and parallelism, as well as moments of humor that seek to fulfill the public agenda but I think they got a little hung up in the story. They went unnoticed. So this film had its hits and misses, it wasn't perfect, but it was entertaining.

Creo que es una película que te hace sentir contrariada en muchos aspectos, pero si van con la mente abierta quizá la puedan llegar a disfrutar, no deja de ser una historia más de un romance. Por otro lado, y esto yo no lo sabía ya que no era fan de One Direction, me enteré después de ver esta película que está basada en un fanfic sobre Harry Styles, así que tiene mucho sentido ahora que lo sé. En definitiva, la película tiene un mensaje claro y es que la sociedad puede ser muy prejuiciosa, sobre todo con las mujeres.

I think it's a movie that makes you feel upset in many aspects, but if you go with an open mind maybe you can enjoy it, it's just another romance story. On the other hand, and I didn't know this since I wasn't a fan of One Direction, I found out after watching this movie that it is based on a fanfic about Harry Styles, so it makes a lot of sense now that I know that. All in all, the movie has a clear message and that is that society can be very prejudiced, especially towards women.

At this point in time Sugar (2024) is already in Episode 6, I'm a bit behind since I have been working on another project although I kept up to date with watching the episodes, this series is going to have a serious turn of events that will make everything strange and for some people probably ridiculous and other events that will make everything make sense. Episode 5 is the everything make sense episode, previously Mr. Siegel had some sort of heart attack after news came out that his grandson Davy or David has been accuse of sexual harassment almost the cherry on top of their current family situation with Olivia missing and Davy has been falling into a a reflection space, I think he finally realize how piece of shit he has been to everyone specially women, specially his half sister Olivia so he decides to come up front and talk to Sugar who is still fixed on finding Olivia at all costs, we get news on Stallings too but the only variant at the moment that makes no sense at all is Ruby and their organization, why they don't want Sugar to know about Stallings and what is their business with Stallings?

On previous episodes we have seen Davy mother Margit talk about Olivia and their current situation although not so decided to cover up for Davy, the cat is out the bag, everyone knows Davy is a piece of shit now after he got publicly accused Taylor, well I assume it was her after her talk with Sugar. On this episodes they still give us shots of how of a creep Davy is thinking that all women around him would be interested, he grew up around fame so he thinks everyone is interested on him.

One key aspect of this episode that is letting me to believe there is some beef between Jonathan and Bernie is that Sugar found a room at Jonathan house while visiting, it was his wife room, in there he found a dress and a couch just like the one that show up on Olivia's mother pictures, this let me to believe that Jonathan had an affair with his son's wife? this could be a very serious problem that they just keeping under the rug, after all Bernie divorce her at some point in time.

While Davy was burred in this moment of self pity, recognizing everything wrong he has done in the past Sugar went to his house, he is fixed on the idea that Davy knows where Olivia is, for some reason Davy and his bodyguard has been following Sugar since day one they find out about him looking for Olivia. Turns out Sugar was right, he starts talking with Davy mother that gave him a lot of nonsense bullshit until Davy decided to come up front and talk to him, explain him how he had business with Stallings although he did not say it straight up, he was basically going around the bushes with the conversation but Sugar kept asking him questions until he start to give up, tells Sugar how Stallings use to get women for him, prostitutes that were initially brought by Stallings to USA, he is into human trafficking and is a complete psychopath as we already know so did Davy mention it, problem is he made Olivia a target after Davy told Stallings his problem with Olivia how she was pushing Taylor to accuse him with the police now this were only Davy words and it is assume that Stallings is the one who disappear or kidnap Olivia and why not, she could be turn into another of his prostitutes although this are all theories and nothing has been proven, this conversation with Sugar left Davy in a very very bad place because Sugar made him realize how because of him probably Olivia was taken away something he was trying to cover up from his conscience and now it has come back to hunt him and take him to an even darker place, taking desperate actions to make the remorse stop.

Fucking Ruby, she now has another of her secret meetings with a men that I would only guess is higher in the hierarchy of their secret group of spies, Ruby tells him about that how Sugar might find about certain things their organization has been doing and how she is not down with it neither to what he answer they are just observing, I have always had the question in my mind "Who are they?" but now comes to mind "Why, Who or What are they observing?" , but all he says its necessary and instruct her to cover it from Sugar and do what ever it takes to make it happen.

Last to mention it is confirm, something that is starting to happen how it has been confirm that Davy is a creep and he is the reason why Olivia is missing, indirectly but still; it has been confirm now that Stallings is into human trafficking and getting girls from this people that he transport most likely illegally from one place to another, the pick up the young and pretty girls from the group and put them on a Van, all this is done by force so the assumption at hand is that he took Olivia and the organization Ruby and Sugar work for know about this and are just "observing".

I think a second season is happening at this point, I don't see how this story can be solved in three more episodes and I hope its not the case because it would feel rush, we are starting to uncover things, make them tangible, this are not rumors anymore and assumptions are starting to materialize but what is not so clear is to what point or who else knows about Olivia in the Siegel family and now another question comes up with what Sugar found at Jonathan's wife room, the dress, the couch, same set where Olivia's mother pictures were taken but on a previous Episode when Sugar show this photos to Bernie he said he did not take those, so who did. Some answers start to show up but then more questions start to pop up, as usual there are certain aspect or details I don't mention to avoid spoilers and only center in the structure of the story to find those hints that let us to the outcome of the episode.

De los mismos directores de juegos de tronos surge la idea de hacer algo de ciencia ficción inspirada en la trilogía de libros del novelista chino Cixin Liu intentaron adaptarlos para crear la serie El problema de los 3 cuerpos en su primera temporada de 8 capitulos, lo extraordinario de esta serie de ciencia ficción es que inicia con una escena de una historia real, una protesta que fue realizada en una universidad en Pekín en la década de los 60 donde fue asesinado a golpes un científico, colocando desde el inicio la eterna separación entre la ciencia y la ideología o la ciencia y la religión.

Su título me causo curiosidad y el póster con el ojo y la secuencia de un reloj me atrapó, todo lo que tenga que ver con el tiempo me gusta, imagine que era determinante en la serie y así fue, comienza con una científica que ha sido humillada, traicionada y maltratada que se encuentra en un proyecto de telecomunicaciones y logra recibir una señal del universo, como ella está decepcionada de la humanidad y del rumbo en el que estamos llevando al planeta, toma la decisión de responder ese mensaje e invitar a unos seres extraterrestres a invadir nuestro mundo, sin saber cuáles son sus verdaderas intenciones y consecuencias de su decisión.

From the same directors of Game of Thrones comes the idea of creating something of science fiction inspired by the trilogy of books by the Chinese novelist Cixin Liu. They tried to adapt them to create the series The Three-Body Problem in its first season of 8 chapters, the extraordinary thing about this science fiction series is that it begins with a scene from a real story, a protest that took place at a university in Beijing in the 1960s where a scientist was beaten to death, setting up the eternal separation between science and ideology or science and religion from the start.

Its title sparked my curiosity and the poster with the eye and the clock sequence captivated me, anything related to time interests me. I imagined it was crucial in the series and it was, starting with a scientist who has been humiliated, betrayed, and mistreated, working on a telecommunications project and manages to receive a signal from the universe. Disappointed by humanity and the direction in which we are leading the planet, she decides to respond to that message and invites extraterrestrial beings to invade our world, unaware of their true intentions and the consequences of her decision.

Driven by her own suffering and perhaps good intentions, she changed the fate of all humanity, but this does not happen immediately; several decades of technological advancement and research are necessary. With parallel stories from the past and present, the characters lead their own lives, concerned about the future.

Argumento | Plot

Durante toda la serie podemos ver lo importante que es para la sobrevivencia la familia. En varias oportunidades repiten la frase que “en la naturaleza nada existe en soledad” y podemos observar cómo prosperan y se vuelven exitosas las personas que se unen como una familia, amigos y parejas.

Es por esto que esta serie no tiene un protagonista, sino 5 amigos científicos que se unieron para formar entre ellos una comunidad, una familia.

Una de las escenas más impactante y que más me gusto son las que tienen que ver con la realidad virtual, que usan una especie de casco que al ponérselo en la cabeza se transporta a un mundo totalmente paralelo donde son el protagonista de ese juego, iniciando con los ojos donde ambos se fusionan formando un único ojo y desde allí es la entrada a ese universo desconocido que cada vez se hace más adictivo porque desean avanzar, superar los obstáculos, aprender y ganar siendo el único propósito preservar la especie.

Throughout the series, we see how important family is for survival. Several times they repeat the phrase that "in nature, nothing exists in isolation," showing how people thrive and become successful when they come together as a family, friends, and partners.

That's why this series doesn't have one protagonist, but 5 scientist friends who came together to form a community, a family.

One of the most striking scenes, and my favorites, involve virtual reality, using a kind of helmet that, when worn on the head, transports them to a completely parallel world where they become the protagonists of that game. It starts with the eyes merging forming a single eye, leading to that unknown universe that becomes increasingly addictive as they want to progress, overcome obstacles, learn, and win, with the sole purpose of preserving the species.

Una escena que me hace pensar en métodos de meditación y el tercer ojo como puerta a otra dimensión, experiencias que causan miedo, pero que son necesarias para avanzar en el mundo espiritual.

Debo confesar que dé toda la serie, mis escenas favoritas fueron estas donde están en el juego. Los vestuarios que se usaron, los efectos especiales, y la historia detrás de cada civilización me parecieron fascinantes y es la parte más interesante de esta serie, el problema de los 3 cuerpos.

El amor estuvo presente en cada episodio de esta serie, el amor entre las personas la fraternidad entre los amigos así como también la traición y lo podemos ver entre el grupo de los 5 amigos de Oxford qué son los científicos, son personajes diferentes, pero todos tienen en común la pasión por la ciencia.

Es muy fácil identificarse con cada uno de estos personajes porque son personas como tú y como yo, con problemas personales y dilemas existenciales que los hacen personas reales sencillas y no como aquellos científicos del pasado, mayores y que no podíamos entender sino todo lo contrario personas ordinarios y corrientes.

A scene that makes me think of meditation methods and the third eye as the gateway to another dimension, experiences that can be scary but necessary to advance in the spiritual world.

I must confess that throughout the series, my favorite scenes were those in the game. The costumes used, the special effects, and the story behind each civilization fascinated me, making it the most interesting part of this series, The Three-Body Problem.

Love was present in every episode of this series, love among people, fraternity among friends, as well as betrayal, as we can see among the group of the 5 friends from Oxford who are the scientists. They are different characters, but all share a passion for science.

It is very easy to identify with each of these characters because they are people like you and me, with personal problems and existential dilemmas that make them real and ordinary individuals, not like the scientists of the past, older and difficult to understand, but on the contrary, simple and ordinary people.

Es una producción que trabajaron en los detalles, recrearon escenas de China en estudios de Londres donde los extras tuvieron que aprender algunas palabras y repetirlas fonéticamente, información que obtuve viendo las entrevistas de los directores.

Esta es una serie de especial agrado para mí, siendo mujer, porque pude ver que las personas más inteligentes y líderes en esta serie fueron las mujeres. Estas son las encargadas de los proyectos para salvar el mundo, colocando a los hombres como un complemento para sus propósitos y su misión. Claro, esta una mujer fue la causante del problema 😬🤭, pero también son las que lo están resolviendo 🤣😁.

No me considero feminista, pero sí me agrada que hayan colocado las fuerzas femeninas en este tema tan importante como se supone que sería la protección del mundo. También me gustó que las mujeres no se sintieran superiores a los hombres, sino que solicitaron su ayuda para sus misiones.

No logré descifrar porque la serie se titula así, suponiendo puedo decir que se trata de encontrar la respuesta entre la mente, cuerpo y espíritu, o también puede estar relacionado con el tiempo, pasado, presente y futuro, no lo sé, supongo que el problema está en nuestra inconformidad con lo que tenemos, con nuestros defectos y la ambición de querer más, pero gracias a esa ambición nos superamos cada día, entonces si no conozco bien el problema no puedo encontrar la solución.

Soy una persona de fe y me considero una persona espiritual y siempre lo he dicho desde que inicié el blog me gusta lo sobrenatural, creo en aquello que no se puede ver por eso desde pequeña he creído en la existencia de seres extraterrestres porque me parece imposible que con la inmensidad del universo y la cantidad de estrellas no existan otras vidas inteligentes por eso me pareció tan atractiva esta serie donde existe la posibilidad de una vida inteligente y se unan la ciencia y la espiritualidad.

Si esta serie tiene un propósito y una intención es darnos el mensaje a todos los espectadores que como humanos no deberíamos tomar decisiones que tengan influencia sobre los demás, ya que las consecuencias nos afectarían a todos aunque nuestra intención sea buena en su origen, tomar decisiones impulsadas

Esta serie se sustentó solo en el primer libro de la trilogía, puede que tenga otras temporadas basadas en los demás libros, yo disfruté cada episodio te la recomiendo.

I couldn't decipher why the series is titled this way, assuming I can say that it is about finding the answer between mind, body, and spirit, or it may also be related to time, past, present, and future, I don't know, I suppose the problem lies in our dissatisfaction with what we have, with our flaws, and the ambition to want more, but thanks to that ambition, we improve ourselves every day, so if I don't know the problem well, I cannot find the solution.

I am a person of faith and consider myself a spiritual person, and I have always said since I started the blog that I like the supernatural, I believe in things that cannot be seen, so since I was a child, I have believed in the existence of extraterrestrial beings because it seems impossible to me that with the immensity of the universe and the number of stars, there are no other intelligent lives, that's why this series where there is a possibility of intelligent life and where science and spirituality come together seemed so attractive to me.

If this series has a purpose and an intention, it is to give us the message to all viewers that as humans we should not make decisions that influence others, since the consequences would affect us all even if our intention is good in its origin, making decisions driven by curiosity, frustration, and pain could be fatal as the saying goes curiosity killed the cat, so don't get involved in what you don't know if it will affect others.

This series was based only on the first book of the trilogy, maybe it will have other seasons based on the other books, I enjoyed every episode, I recommend it to you.

2024 has been a year full of great movies but Biopics had a hard time, Sight (2023) is a biographical drama that tells the inspiring story of Dr. Ming Wang, a Chinese men who immigrate at a young age and achieved success as an ophthalmic surgeon despite adversities, everywhere around the world immigrants some times are not giving the same opportunities and flexibility to success on their field and Dr. Wang career was full of obstacles back then but through his determination and perseverance overcame the obstacles of his turbulent upbringing to become an internationally renowned ophthalmic surgeon inspired by his own past, Dr. Wang sets out to restore the sight of a blind orphan, which serves as the central narrative of the movie, highlighting the strength and determination not only of Chinese American immigrants but over all as the old saying "If there is a will, there is a way".

Andrew Hyatt: The Visionary Director

Andrew Hyatt, the director of Sight (2023), has been behind the scenes for a while, and a lot of people attest him creating stories that an audience can relate with and connect with them emotionally, as a actor is equally at ease in flesh and blood portrayals of the historical characters as well as gritty, independent works.
Among Hyatt’s notable works are:
- Last Light and The Frozen, the first two movies that Hyatt made, being really intriguing he proved himself to be a great professional in the sphere of cinema production.

Details from the Main Character of Sight (2023)

Sight (2023)a biographical drama that tells the true story of Dr. Ming Wang, a Chinese student who had come to the US in the hope of breaking down the walls that were standing in his way and allowing him to live his dream and become a famous eye surgeon in the United States, the movie depicts events from the book "From Darkness to Sight," a biography of Ming Wang.

Dr. Wang certainly deserves a place under the spotlight of human achievements due to the fact that his career path is a perfect example going the extra mile. The origin of Ming Wang is in a small village in China in the 1970s when he was pursued and accused of going against the system everywhere he went, he went through a lot of struggles, yet his family supported him to attend Harvard and MIT, and he earned two master degrees in laser physics. After that, Dr. Wang continued his education at Harvard Medial school and earned the highest grade, before he finally acquired his PHD of medical physics and became one of the few laser eye surgeons today who have mastered laser physics.

The work Dr. Wang would have done in the ophthalmology area is determinant, he is the co founder of common conglomerate network, a non profit organization and had been a key contributor in amniotic membrane contact lens invention which millions of doctors around the word, have helped more than 30 millions of people with eye problems, Dr. Wang along with the Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration have done 55 surgeries pro bono on patients all over the US from 40 states and additional 55 countries.

The movie Sight puts the story of Dr. Wang beginning from his childhood when he was oppressed by the communist regime in China through his path to become one of the best eye surgeons in American and the inventor who create a new procedure that helps restores sight of millions of people including the 3D Forever Young Lens surgery, which reduces the need for reading glasses. The message shown in the movie motivate the viewers to believe in more than what we see and that the present is founded on the past, it focuses on the acceptance of the previous times to be able to tolerate the present and not to be constrained by the reality.

As of now, Dr. Ming Wang continues to practice as a laser eye surgeon, using his expertise to help restore sight to those in need, this story is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the impact one person can have on the world.

Probably not everyone favorite genre of movie but truly a story that will get to you, after watching the trailer I can tell Dr. Wang is a funny person, how he joke around with Terry Chen who is a great actor, I remember him from many productions TV and the big screen, as usual Biopics are a hard one to pull off due to time constriction and facts or certain situations that are left or slightly change to make it fit a movie, remember movies are suppose to be entertaining at the same time a business so things are change to fit the targeted audience, I might watch it with the family since it does have a great message in it specially if you have kids this might inspire them at a young age to overcome adversities.

I can understand if some give Arcadian (2024) a lower score than 7 and I would agree that this was probably not a movie for Theaters although for streaming directly, the audience and critics were decided on this movie depending from what point of view you look at it, action, drama, monsters, script but on both sides there are less than 100 votes so for me this was a must watch to figure out what went wrong or if they just pissing on the rating, Nicolas Cage is one of my favorite actors, I just mention it this morning on a thread about the movie The Rock; so it there was no harm if I watch it.

Arcadia (2024) develops on a polluted world, post apocalyptic, every man safe himself situation where a man name Paul takes care of two child, it is assume this are his son but how they got there its unknown to me since there is no back story, I think Arcadia even needs a second movie, a prequel, similar to whats happening with A Quiet Place, I bet people are intrigue to figure out how everything started and why the hell Paul goes out scavenging for supplies and leave two child inside a open garage in the wild to then come running home as fast as he could not only on a race against the sunset before the monsters came out but fast enough to figure out what happen to this two babies.

Arcadian (2024) starts with a man named Paul, as in any other post apocalyptic world he has to go out for supplies, what ever he finds laying around that can suit his needs, medicine, food, wood, tools, even if that means take form others, thats just the way to survive in the wild, at this point in time there is no moral grounds for many, there is not what is wrong or right just to stay alive.

What actually push him the most to this side of the scale, staying alive; he has two kids, two baby he leaves alone, in an open garage on the floor, crying, probably hungry or cold while he go look for supplies, he needs to come back fast enough before something happens to them or the sun goes down and the monsters come out of their caves.

Same as there is no background to how Paul got this two baby, are they really his? found them? were given to him? same thing happens when they grew up, in a couple of scenes now Paul is older so are the once babies. The is Joseph and Paul, from their look same age, still kids, who have grown on the countryside far away from what is left of society, water, earth and air are polluted, at the same time some kind of monsters wonder around only after the sun goes down.

It is unknown to them how this monsters came to be, I didn't want to spoil their looks but did a thread about it this morning, this monsters are something else, look like werewolf but has a horse face with nails over a meter long that they cant extend, when they are ready to attack start clapping their jaws make a very loud noise.

Out of the two brothers Joseph come to be the smart one while Thomas is the brave one, the monsters go out every night so all windows and doors are close and reinforce but that does not mean they wont try to get in until one day Joseph understood they getting smarter, now they would test the door to get in and then attempt a second try but this time for real, based on his analysis I would guess before they would try once but for longer period without understanding the situation or expressing his feeling, a third attempt was just one single bang expressing frustration just as any other human, but does this means this monsters were once humans?

There is farm Thomas visits every day on foot and comes back running before the sun goes down, it was no rocket science to imagine why, women right, always men weak link, young Thomas experience his first love with the daughter of Rose Farm owner, her name is Charlotte a very brave and smart girl. It seems during the day is all calm with no worries like in fact this monsters are hurt by light, my first impression was always that they can go underground with their very long and strong nails like a mole in the wild. There is nothing special about the story but even though it seems very simple I find the acting and script very smooth, Joseph kept saying he is tired of hiding and starts to work on a plan to capture a monster, he wants to study them, I might assume he think this monsters came from humans some how and are evolving.

Young heart Thomas usually takes too many risks, he is in love and its totally normal behavior for men to act like this for a women, irrational. Its here when every goes south for him, Joseph and Paul after one day Thomas and Joseph were send to the river side to scavenge materials to reinforce their house but Thomas decided to split ways and spend time with Charlotte, on his way back he falls into a cave this force his father to go after him while Joseph did not actually stay safe necessarily he throw himself as bait to catch one of this monsters so we got two intense scenes running at the same time that end with Paul heavily hurt after fighting monsters while getting Joseph back, to make things worst young Thomas had to figure out how the world really works when trying to help for his injure father.

As you can tell from the events on this movie its not complicated at all and very predictable but its the actors who made it special for me, Nicolas Cage has this ability to show himself as an old men and in a some way tired probably from all those days running around to bring supplies for the babies always in a race against time. Thomas not so hard to play probably, very naive and excited about life but Joseph in the other hand felt always awkward, he is different than others. A very short movie with only 1 hour 32 minutes of screen time, even though they skip how Paul got the babies and then spiking how they grew up it doesn't felt crunch at all, the entire movie only fit about two to three days of story so its a very short one with very few characters to develop their stories, in fact Thomas story is the one that is develop a bit more than the rest, its like Joseph, Thomas and their father Paul are a single character, I guess this movie will only be appealing for those who like the entire post apocalyptic world and throw monsters in the mix, this is not a movie full of action or a long survivor story, its simple, quick, throws a few jabs with a final big punch.

Scheduled to debut in July 2025 (if there are no further changes by then), Superman, the new retelling of the journey of one of the most acclaimed superheroes in comic books, has just received a long-awaited update, especially by fans: a image showing the official look of Clark Kent wearing his official costume in full. Public acceptance seems to have been positive, but a static image is not enough to approve everything.

Considering just this photo, compared to the uniforms in other film and television versions, the colors of the uniform are quite grayish, giving the impression that that more colorful and vibrant look is part of the past. This time, within the new DC Comics universe, the approach seems to be darker, with a more “realistic” perception within this new plot. I personally found it a little bit unusual, but still a promising choice.

The more specific details of the uniform (shapes and designs, as a whole) are much simpler than I was imagining. I didn't expect such complex reformulations (because this was never part of the uniform), but it's all very simple compared to all the speculations that had been made before. In the end, this may seem silly, but a character's visual identity is vital to their long-term success.

After many demands, James Gunn decided to show David Corenswet in official costume to show the public that things are going well, and since the beginning of filming this was a “debt” he owed to the public. Although the update was interesting, the final test of acceptance will only really happen after the first video preview is released. Until then, the public will have to wait longer because Gunn does not intend to release anything else for now.

Some time ago, I shared with you the review of a new saga, based on these characters, I told you about the first part, which you can read here The Epic Adventure of the Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan now I come to tell you about the second part, with more drama, suspense and action.

This is an epic story of French action and adventure, where we will see again the Musketeers, making their own, in this case, the young and intrepid D'Artagnan, who will be forced to ally with his mysterious enemy, Milady de Winter, with the sole purpose of saving and recovering his beloved Constance.

Hace un tiempo, compartí con ustedes la reseña de una nueva saga, basada en estos personajes, les hablé de la primera parte, la cual la pueden leer aquí The Epic Adventure of the Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan , ahora les vengo a hablar de la segunda parte, con más drama, suspenso y acción.

Esta es una épica historia de acción y aventura francesa, donde veremos nuevamente a los Mosqueteros, haciendo de la suya, en este caso, al joven e intrépido D’Artagnan, el cual se verá obligado a aliarse con su misteriosa enemiga, Milady de Winter, con el unico propósito de salvar y recuperar a su amada Constance.

This woman Milady, without a doubt, has turned out to be a real mystery, it is not known for sure, which side she is on, if she is the villain or the victim, in all this story, but she will do everything possible to achieve what she wants, whatever her true purpose is.

Eva Green is in charge of personifying this mysterious woman, well known as Milady de Winter, but in reality she hides a dark past, with her true identity; with her power of cunning and seduction, she will manage to attract the young musketeer D'Artagnan, it is here where she will try to take advantage and use him, creating a relationship full of secrets, attraction and danger.

Without wanting to tell you too much, I can tell you that this pair will be the protagonists in this part of the story, we will see how each part will be put together, the role of each one, and how they will resolve their conflicts and threats.

Esta mujer Milady, sin duda, ha resultado ser un verdadero misterio, no se sabe a ciencia cierta, de qué lado está, si es la villana, o la víctima, en toda esta historia, eso sí, hará todo lo posible por lograr cumplir con lo que ella desea, sea cual sea su verdadero propósito.

Eva Green es la encargada de personificar a esta misteriosa mujer, bien conocida como Milady de Winter, pero en realidad esconde un oscuro pasado, con su verdadera identidad; con su poder de astucia y seducción, lograra atraer al joven mosquetero D'Artagnan, es aquí donde ella tratara de aprovecharse y usarlo, creando asi una relación llena de secretos, atracción y peligro.

Sin querer contarles mucho, puedo decirles que este par, serán los protagonistas en esta parte de la historia, veremos como se irán armando cada parte, el papel de cada uno, y como resolverán sus conflictos y amenazas.

This is a story full of intrigue, mystery, drama, and a bit of action, maybe for some it will be entertaining, maybe for others not so much, it has a good production and scenery, the atmosphere, that medieval era, yesteryear, always catches the attention, the landscapes, the castles, everything that encompasses, to travel back in time, and remember how everything was, back then, when there was no technology, and they had to ride on horseback, or by boat, to reach other places.

For my part, I really like this kind of movies, series, as I said they are quite attractive to the viewer, with everything they show us; of course as long as they also have a good plot; the Musketeers are as they say a classic, something that many of us grew up with, and we heard of these great characters, inseparable friends, faithful warriors, with great charisma.

Esta es una historia llena de intrigas, misterio, drama, y un poco de acción, quizás para algunos les resulte entretenida, quizás para otros no tanto, tiene una buena producción y escenografía, el ambiente, esa época medieval, antaño, siempre llama la atención, los paisajes, los castillos, todo lo que engloba, el viajar en el tiempo, y recordar como era todo, en aquel entonces, cuando no existía la tecnología, y tenían que cabalgar a caballo, o en barco, para poder llegar a otros lados.

Por mi parte, me gusta mucho este tipo de películas, de series, como dije son bastante atractivas, para el espectador, con todo lo que nos muestran; claro siempre y cuando también cuente con una buena trama; los Mosqueteros son como quien dicen un clásico, algo con lo que muchos crecimos, y escuchamos de estos grandes personajes, amigos inseparables, guerreros fieles, con un gran carisma.

Claro es una historia bastante controversial, con sus altos y bajos, tiene una duración de casi dos horas, debo resaltar que al principio, todo es muy lento, pocas escenas emocionantes, vemos como los otros Mosqueteros, como Porthos y Aramis, tiene poco acto de presencia, esto es algo que no entendí, pero como ya les mencione, aquí los protagonistas fueron otros, entonces de allí, lo demás queda secundario, solo al final es que vemos notar un poco más su presencia.

The new story of Mad Max began with a young Furiosa living a peaceful live in her home The Green Place of the Many Mothers. We see her trying to catch an apple from a tree and a friend of her told her to please stop and leave that they are a in the border of her land and it is dangerous, despite the warning Furiosa continue but she was heard from a group of men that were there and saw her, kidnapping her and taken her to their leader in the desert, a man named Dr. Dementus, a person who does not mind trampling on another to achieve what he wants. This young Furiosa now is surrounding of hate, with people that is trying to survive, in this apocalyptic world and knowing a place called the Citadel that is also presided by another tyrant known as The Immortal Joe. Since this moment Furiosa is going to start the most important journey in her young life. She is going to fight to return to her home, fighting anyone who gets in her way and in the journey growing in a strong woman that never is going to stop reach her goal.

Furiosa A Mad Max Saga is the new movie of the director and creator of the Mad Mad franchise George Miller. This new movie is telling the story of a young Furiosa and how this journey is taking her to become the heroine that we all already know. The movie continue with the post apocalyptic world where Furiosa is forced to face every challenge if she wants to survive. Anya Taylor Joy is taking the main role in this new movie as a young Furiosa, in an iconic and extremely difficult character that has been already performed by the amazing actress Charlize Theron in the previous movie Mad Max: Fury Road and Dr. Dementus is performed by Chis Hemworth.

Anya Taylor-Joy takes on the challenging role of Furiosa, known for her standout performance in The Witch and her award-winning performance in the miniseries The Queen’s Gambit. Her portrayal of Furiosa is highly anticipated as she delves into a role that demands both physical intensity and emotional depth.

Chris Hemsworth as Dr. Dementus is widely recognized for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has the capability to handle action-oriented roles, making him a suitable choice for the rough and chaotic world of Mad Max. His previous performances in action movies like Extraction have demonstrated his ability to carry films with considerable physical intensity.

Tom Burke as Praetorian Jack. Burke is a British actor known for his role as Athos in the TV series The Musketeers, as Dolokhov in War & Peace and for the main role as Cormoran Strike in the TV series Strike.

Alyla Browne portrays Young Furiosa, starting her acting career at a young age. She participated in Children of the Corn, the series Nine Perfect Strangers, and has a leading role in the recently released film True Spirit and Sting.

Plot and Setting: A Return to the Desert

This new story of Furiosa is a prequel of Mad Max: Fury Road. Tell the story of a young Furiosa when she was abducted from her home, the Green Place of Many Mothers and thrown to the core of the cruel desert. Now she is going to live a nightmare, under the control of Warlord Dementus and amidst the chaos of fighting tyrants. Despite this new events Furiosa decided to start a journey of determination and survival all to return to her home. This is the main premise of the story, with the desert as the witness of every violence and action between the people that are trying to survive and the ones who have the power, this is a complete action movie that will bring that strengthen of a child that become a woman in way to revenge herself.

Production Perceptions and Expectations

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the fifth movie of the Mad Max franchise. As we now it is directed and produce by the Australian director George Miller, who is the creator of the Mad Max Universe. The story was co-write with Nico Lathouris, also from the previous movie Mad Max Fury Road movie, some members of the cast has returned such as the film editor Margaret Sixel, customer designer Jenny Beavan, production designer Colin Gibson and the composer Tom Holkenborg.

The story is set 15 to 20 years before the events of Mad Max Fury Road. Despite some challenges including delays and concerns about the use of CGI, the production successfully captured the essence of the Mad Max universe. The director since 2010 has already in mind to create a movie about the background of Furiosa, since the moment he was working in Mad Max: Fury Road he created backstories for every character but he focused in the story of Furiosa. In 2019 Miller revealed that a Furiosa film was still being planned and in 2020 the director started the casting for each characters. The production of Furiosa a Mad Max Saga began in June 2022 and end in October 2022, the movie was shot in New South Wales and Silverton in Australia.

Interesting Fun Fact about Furiosa A Mad Max Saga

At the beginning this project was supposed to be adapted as an anime under the title The Peach. As an anime this was going to be directed by Mahiro Maeda known for his work in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo and by his participation in The Animatrix. This was the main idea with this project but as every body know now, it didn’t came through and at the end it result as the movie that we are waiting to view and extending the Mad Max franchise.

George Miller is an Australian filmmaker. Miller is the mastermind in the creation of one of the most successful franchise in the world, Mad Max, whose second and fourth movies of the franchise, have been acclaimed as two of the greatest action films of all time, making Fury Road the winner of six Academy Awards. But that is not all the genius director has worked on, he has worked in different genre given movies such as the biographical medical drama Lorenzo Oil, a dark fantasy The Witches of Eastwick and the animated movie Happy Feet, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2006.

Since 1979 director Miller created a new standard for action genre, giving to the audience a dystopian world full of action becoming an acclaimed director with a impressive filmography, with this new installment the director is telling the story of the famous heroin Furiosa and her roots, how she was kidnapped and how she became a force in a world ruled by men.

One more time the director George Miller is bringing to the audience a new story about the amazing world of the iconic franchise Mad Max. An apocalyptic world that since 1979 had give to the viewers a new experience. Furiosa A Mad Max Saga is the story of the journey of a young girl who was forced to grow more faster than she would have wanted all to survive. Is important to mention that actress Anya Taylor Joy has a big challenge taking the role of Furiosa since in its predecessor actress Charlize Theron performed this character and has left the bar very high, despite that I am almost certain that this new movie will be amazing, enjoyable and full of what we expect about it action and a lot of it. With the recent trend of building up trilogies and a synergy between TV series and Movies I think after its good reception from the recent premier would be a good opportunity to start building up the hype for a third movie right after it release on Theaters on May 24, 2024 and if possible look into the opportunity to create a TV series although that could be a way more ambitious project depending on how much the story needs to be extended.
