Until Episode Two I don't see why Secret Invasion got so many bad reviews although considering how it did episode by episode on IMDB I'm probably soon to find out and already have that hunch that they rush the story to keep it short for who knows what reason, this min series only has six episodes why not make it ten if the problem was time but also have to consider how much did the Hollywood Strike affect the production of Secret Invasion, right now compare to the rest of the MCU TV Series is not that bad considering that there are two heavy hitters at the top with Loki and Moon Knight, been my favorite so far.

Episode two right out of the gate reveal me a few things I already had a suspicion, first is how Gravik and Nick Fury met, Gravik has this revolutionary mindset that usually comes from some one that has suffer a lot but also is brave enough to stand up and take the justice by his hands because that's exactly what he has been doing so far, after Gravik lost his parents he was brought to Fury as a refugee at a young age, at the moment Fury saw Skrulls as agents with their special capability of shape shifting could be a great asset for his cause. Fury invites them to join him, this Skrulls were lead by Talos; and told them if they kept their promise to help him he will keep his side of the deal to make Earth their home too, this is were everything started with a promise that was never fulfill that's when Gravik feels he was betrayed by Fury.

"..keep my home safe...we will find you a new one" this is what Fury told this group of Skrulls when he invite them to his cause but Fury is a bag full of tricks, he never said Earth was going to be their home and also never mention how long it would take, I don't want to say he took advantage of their need to stay safe at Earth and not be hunted but they probably underestimate the situation and didn't know exactly who they were making a deal with, Fury is a SPY, you can't fully trust him, its all over the problem that Banner had with Natasha even if they love each other, even Natasha would not trust herself, that's how you need to treat anyone working for a government or special agency. Skrulls probably wanted faster results than what he was delivering, after the blip Fury was one of the many Thanos made disappear and it took time for the Avengers to bring everyone back plus when Fury was back he started on a new project to build a space station so consider the was gone for over six years, during that time Gravik kept growing wit the uncertainty that his people will ever find a planet they could call home so why not take over Earth?

After the bombing in Russia Talos safe Fury, latter on revelations kept coming up and during a train ride they were both in Fury start talking about a game he play with his mom as a kid "Tell me somthing I dont know", from that moment Talos should know better, Fury was about to brake him in pieces before he knew it and ask the key question "Tell me something I dont know about the Skrulls that fled" to what Talos answer they are all here a million Skrulls, obviously there must be more than a million now so the real question is how many are with Gravik and what is their current power position in human society. We already saw there are some powerful Skrulls that could get their hands on bombs and who knows what else, they had the time and special skills to infiltrate humans to the point they could even infiltrate governments deeply, but Skrulls are not violent by nature so they try to coexist with humans.

From what I have seen so far it seems that G'iah is not on Gravik's close group, even though he does not trust anyone he does have some Skrulls who he assign important missions, G'iah is basically running errands him some of them important but she is not in charge of anything very important, on this episode she starts to get a grip of how dangerous he can be, so far she only imagine but now starts to see from first hand how Gravik would go to kill their own kind if he feels there is a slight chance they lying to him, on Gravik mission there is no room for treason.

G'iah is willing to work with her father Talos after there last chat but that is something I not a fan of because at first she was all revolutionary and had a fix mind of new Skrullos and after one meeting with Talos she has now change sides and is trying to play the double agent, sneaking around Gravik's base and got the room where scientist are trying to work on a DNA to make Skrulls stronger, this is the same room we see Gravik throw Furry in.

Having Fury on every camera when the bombing in Russia happen was not the best advertisement for the USA, they now after his ass and the only reason he is not in jail or dead is because Talos safe him but it seems that the US Goverment also wants him out of the equation, in a meeting with Rhodey; Fury try to explain things of how everything really went down but the political damage is done and there is no way to erase it, so Fury play his last card telling Rhodey about the Skrulls and how an invasion is going on but he didn't care, remember Rhodey is a soldier who obey orders but only at extreme during extreme circumstances bend but not break the rules same thing happen in Avengers: End Game. Rhodey notify Fury he is out but he didn't like the news and went all Nick Fury on Rhodey "Even when I'm out I'm In". I think its understandable he feels this way because he has no control of whats going on, that's his thing been steps ahead of everyone but he is fighting an enemy that he can't see, a million shape shifters that could be Rhodey himself.

Closing the episode another great scene from the trailer happen, that's when Sonya from MI6 shows up to a Butcher Shop where Russians held a Skrull inside the freezer at the back of the Shop good old fashion scene with the pigs hanging cut in half but they could not make the guy talk, this is a Skrull they caught after the bombing, so first thing Sonya does is make sure he is a Skrull by cutting a finger, the moment the finger is separated from the body it turns to its natural skin so now that she knows who she is dealing with next is to use an injection that will raise his blood temperature, as a reptile or human this is NO BUENO but I guess for a reptile might be worst and thats the guy at the top on the post cover boiling from the inside. Eventually Gravik shows up to the place to rescue him but it was too late, he could not resist to Sonya torture and didn't want her to inject him anymore but at that point he already gave the names of the scientist behind the experiments to create a new generation of Skrulls, Super Skrulls, G'iah also did some digging on the name Rosa Dalton at their local database, she found experiments with roots, beasts but could not continue reading since Gravik came into the room at that moment, its like he feels when someone is lying to him but still doesn't caught G'iah.

Like it was not enough about the lying to each other species, Fury comes back home his very own house on Earth and he is married to a Skrull, nothing against that but if it wasn't for Talos they would never met now the question is, is that really Nick Fury holding his weeding ring next to his Skrull wife or is he another Skrull? for now I will keep it simple and believe that is Fury.

 

In my opinion great episode but keep in mind I am NOT a Marvel geek so I do not now if this story is close to the comics or not, still great episode now that we get to know a few more things about Talos and Fury, those were the two characters that reveal the most important information in this episode because with a million Skrulls, starting number; how many is Fury facing? and Fury's wife been a Skrull that even make me doubt on what side will Fury be at the end of the battle, but that was just the last scene so we don't know if she knows anything about the invasion and what is her stand about it.

Everything else was just drama about what happen in Russian, pure speculation and aftermath of countries debate if USA had anything to do with the bombing or not just because Fury was there and then USA giving Fury its back, trying to shut him down, probably on episode three and four we get more information about this experiments and the Super Skrulls, probably even see them battling, we already know Gravik is one of them from the trailer.

For All Mankind is the series that made realize that most AppleTv+ Series are gold, to start this is not a series based on real events its all fiction, it happens on a "parallel" story where some were similar to what happen on the first mission to the moon but then the story goes further into space hotel, land on mars, arm confrontations in space. Besides the great story one of the things I like the most about this series is the story around each character, anyone who thinks about watching a space TV Series might think everything has to be about space ships and the travel itself but this is not the case, characters down at Earth has a lot to do, couples problems, fights at work because chain of command, espionage because others country want to steal each other tech and make it first to what ever rock in space they planing to go so its not only about space itself, also the cast is not The Avengers and that makes it more interesting to me, ever since Season One I gave this TV Series a 10/10, another great TV Series that I never document but I will still put up my posts about Season Four.

To keep track of things I had to watch Season 3 last episode where they literally pull a stunt that is just ridiculous to think about but thats the kind of things you are going to see on this TV Series, Edward Baldwin, one of the main pilots of the Series; tie up his step daughter to a space shuttle so he could push her to the space station on top of Mars because she is pregnant and there is no facility down on Mars where she can give birth.

Gordo Stevens youngest son Jimmy joins an extremist group that is salty with NASA for things that they have done in the past, come on on the way to success you make a few enemies, on this universe NASA never stop and kept pushing all the time putting peoples life at risk and putting others in jail, they fucking mega bomb the NASA building after the Ed landed back on Mars, his ex wife you he still love very much died during the bombing.

Now that they have been on Mars for a few years they want to start a proper self sustain colony at Happy Valley Camp, they recruiting new people to join at Earth so there will be new characters added to the story, some are willing to take the gamble.

On Season 3 a man who build the most successful private company to start an expedition to Mars almost lost everything but it seems once again he gets lucky after his team locates the biggest asteroid with enough iridium to compare it to what ever has been mine in the history of mankind, so now everyone wants to jump on it, North Korea, Russia, USA, there is this big race to get the asteroid how the fuck do you do that? from a few scenes they literally attack a space ship to one side so they can push it.

While all this is happening there is also a very dorky love story between Margo Madison the NASA director until Season 3 and Sergei Nikulov engineer who was in charge of the Soviet Space Program who was heavily under surveillance and was caught exchanging information with Margo about their programs to a point that Soviets blackmail Margo letting her know that they would send him to one of the worst prisons and I think they were willing to kill him if she didn't give them their engine blue prints, at the end she did and no body proof it after some heavy suspicious, on the trailer she now wakes up but she is in Russia and from the few shots she look like is been follow probably KGB, most likely she is there looking for Sergei.

The trailer of Season 4 specially shows a new addition to the series, a new character Miles played by Toby Kebbell who was actually exceptional from the TV Series "Servant" that I never finish but want too, Miles is a regular guy with a regular job at Earth but now he feels there is this big opportunity to join the colony at Mars, Happy Valley camp now wants to grow massively so they need more workers to create all this infrastructure, Miles looks like a pain in the ass guy who gets into places no body invite him.  

I think Season Four might be the last Season of this TV Series, some of the main characters are aging getting older in the story but still kicking like Ed and Danielle, Margo is out of NASA looking for Sergei in Russia, Bill is taking over as NASA director so its generational moves within different positions in the story from Pilots, NASA director, Engineers at Earth with Aleida finally getting enough credit to her work and from here they are growing the colony at Mars so the story does not move into another race to another planet, all other three season have been ten episode long so that give it enough time to develop the end of the story in a way that it doesn't feel rush and they can conclude things at Earth and Mars for example we have a couple of topics

• What happens after the NASA bombing
• What happens with Margo and Sergie, does she finds him?
• How is Ed grandson or daughter doing?
• Will Ed fly to the Asteroid, he is always a captain
• How Ellen does with her relationship and political position

All this are just a few of the different side stories on the series that will need a proper ending, all other three seasons in my opinion did great, even on season two when they were confine to a very small space for a few episodes so this tells a lot about the script, how good it is that it keeps viewers entertain without much space on the scene.

I totally recommend this series and cant wait to start watching Season Four, first episode comes out on November 10, 2023.

A modest production that without too much paraphernalia manages to absorb the viewer in a situation where power imposes its authority. A claustrophobic hell inside cold offices, where the slightest mistake can truncate the dreams and plans of many people.

In just one hour and fifteen minutes, we will suffer just like the protagonists of the film. You will feel overwhelmed, nervous, desperate, impotent before what you are about to see. That is the merit of Alejandro Rojas and Juan Sebastián Vásquez, in charge of directing and writing the script together. Without great resources, few locations and few actors, they have made one of the best Spanish films released this year.

Both filmmakers are of Venezuelan origin. Vasquez has worked in Spain as director of photography on several films, including El Practicante with Mario Casas, and has also directed short films, but this is his first feature film, as is Rojas. They are off to a good start and I'm sure we will see them working together again in the near future.

I repeat again what I said in my post about the American film Reality. Sometimes less is more and also, on many occasions, that helps to give credibility to a story. You have to use what you have, be creative when telling stories and most importantly, the script has to tell a good story and you have to have a group of actors capable of conveying emotions.

Modesta producción que sin demasiada parafernalia consigue absorber al espectador en una situación donde el poder impone su autoridad. Un infierno claustrofóbico dentro de fríos despachos, donde el más mínimo error puede truncar los sueños y planes de muchas personas.

En apenas una hora y quince minutos, sufriremos igual que los protagonistas de la película. Te sentirás abrumado, nervioso, desesperado, impotente ante lo que vas a ver. Ese es el mérito de Alejandro Rojas y Juan Sebastián Vásquez, encargados de dirigir y escribir juntos el guión. Sin grandes recursos, pocas localizaciones y pocos actores, han hecho una de las mejores películas españolas estrenadas este año.

Ambos cineastas son de origen venezolano. Vásquez ha trabajado en España como director de fotografía de varias películas, entre ellas El Practicante con Mario Casas, y también ha dirigido cortometrajes, pero éste es su primer largometraje, al igual que Rojas. Han empezado con buen pie y seguro que les volveremos a ver trabajando juntos en un futuro próximo.

Repito lo que dije en mi post sobre la película americana Reality. A veces menos es más y además, en muchas ocasiones, eso ayuda a dar credibilidad a una historia. Hay que utilizar lo que se tiene, ser creativo a la hora de contar historias y lo más importante, el guión tiene que contar una buena historia y hay que contar con un grupo de actores capaces de transmitir emociones.

¡Hola amigos! Hoy les traigo la reseña de una película sueca que ingresó este viernes al catálogo de Netflix, está etiquetada como una comedia de terror y me pareció una propuesta interesante, la película se llama La conferencia.

A group of employees who are going to build a shopping mall in a rural town decide to get together in a kind of camp to strengthen team bonds and camaraderie. However, the atmosphere starts to become tense after discovering that there is a traitor who wants to ruin them for his own benefit and everything gets more complicated when the team members begin to appear murdered one by one.

Bueno, parecía una propuesta interesante, está bien presentada desde el inicio. Aunque el principio se me hizo un poco aburrido hasta que empezó la verdadera acción, y sí sentí los momentos de tensión que transmitió la película. Sin embargo, no deja de ser más de lo mismo. No hay un elemento nuevo o algo que destaque a lo común que me haga flashear con que es una muy buena producción. Está entretenida para pasar el rato y tiene algunas escenas muy gráficas. Creo que es un tanto gore, así que si te impresiona la sangre no la veas porque la vas a pasar mal.  

Well, it seemed like an interesting proposal, it is well presented from the beginning. Although the beginning was a bit boring until the real action started, and I did feel the moments of tension that the movie conveyed. However, it's still more of the same. There isn't a new element or anything that stands out from the ordinary that makes me flash that it's a very good production. It's entertaining to pass the time and has some very graphic scenes. I think it's a bit gory, so if you're impressed by blood, don't watch it because you're going to have a bad time.

La mayoría de los personajes se me hicieron insoportables así que, para serles sincera, no me molestó mucho cuando los iban asesinando jajaja. Hay una sola muerte que lamente, pero bueno, era necesario. Aunque me pareció un poco sin sentido la manera en que ocurrió. Esto me da el pie para decir que no le encontré mucho sentido a algunas cosas que iban pasando. 

Most of the characters became unbearable to me so, to be honest, it didn't bother me much when they were being killed hahaha. There's only one death I regret, but hey, it was necessary. I did find it a bit pointless the way it happened though. This gives me a reason to say that I didn't find much sense in some of the things that were happening.

Hay un personaje que no sé qué quería hacer y su fin fue un poco meh. Era uno de los villanos, por decirle de alguna manera, pero el final que tuvo me pareció que quedó un poco colgado y me dejó gustó a poco. Como si fuera un agregado de último momento cuando ya todo estaba solucionado. Creo que desperdiciaron el potencial de este sujeto.  

There is a character that I don't know what he wanted to do and his end was a bit meh. He was one of the villains, to say it somehow, but the end he had seemed to me that he was a bit hung up and left me liking him a little bit. As if it was a last minute addition when everything was already solved. I think they wasted the potential of this guy.

Sí me gustó el personaje de Lina, que es uno de los principales, era la más cuerda del equipo, y también quedé muy conforme con los personajes que lograron sobrevivir, son los que mejor me cayeron. Pienso que el mensaje que querían transmitir era que el compañerismo es importante en un entorno hostil porque gracias a esto ellos pudieron sobrevivir.  

I did like Lina's character, who is one of the main characters, she was the most sane of the team, and I was also very happy with the characters who managed to survive, I liked them the best. I think the message they wanted to convey was that companionship is important in a hostile environment because thanks to this they were able to survive.

Creo que el hecho de que haya sido una comedia de terror la hizo más ligera, aunque me costó encontrarle la gracia, no es mi tipo de humor. De todos modos, fue refrescante en cierto punto. También me pareció muy linda visualmente, tiene algunas tomas interesantes, la escena del principio y una de las finales me parecieron geniales con la música de corte clásico sonando de fondo.

I think the fact that it was a horror comedy made it lighter, although I had a hard time finding it funny, it's not my kind of humor. Anyway, it was refreshing at a certain point. I also thought it was very nice visually, it has some interesting shots, the beginning scene and one of the end scenes I thought were great with the classical music playing in the background.

Por momentos fue bastante predecible para mi gustó. Pero, como les dije, para pasar el rato está bien y puede que les resulte una buena propuesta si deciden verla. 

At times it was too predictable for my liking. But, as I said, it's fine to pass the time and you might find it a good proposition if you decide to watch it.

For anyone that doubt WOT season two because of it's very slow first two episodes I have to say things are starting to turn up and everything starts to make sense, on episode four more about Ishamael and Selene or by her real name Lanfear, Daughter of The Night the most dangerous Forsaken finally we get to know who this mysterious women who does nothing during the day and only fuck Rand's brains out at night and who Moiraine fears a lot, but it still yet to know what are her motive and reasons to be after Rand? the most obvious reason that comes to mind is that she either wants to drain his powers, use him to do something for her or just kill him and as a last crazy idea is that she is truly in love with him. Moiraine has mention before that what they living right now has happen before many times through the centuries, meaning that Rand or The Dragon Reborn is an entity that comes to the world many times and even dies but always the story is very similar so there must be a connection between LanfeAr and Rand so yes probably she is in love with him but he doesn't remember, the difference between them even if they met before is that Rand is a new men when Lanfear was awaken so she was probably a prisoner of some spell.

Episode four keeps telling us more and more about the past of some of the characters, in this case a bit more about Moiraine Damodred, she goes back to her home town where her little sister Anvaere Damodred lives and haven't seen in many years, Aes Sedai live longer than other mortals because they are connected to the true power so they will age slower and see friends and entire family die before them, that's the case of Liandrin and her son, same case between Moiraine and her little sister Anvaere.

Its on Episode Four when we see Moiraine change her clothes into what she is wearing on the Season Two Cover Poster so probably from now on she means business.

The reason for Logain to be in this town same where Rand is, all that happen because Moiraine wanted so, she is looking for Rand around town and visit the Asylum he is was working at where Logain is but can't find him, goes and visit Logain who wants to kill her if he could, keep in mind that may be he can since Moiraine has no powers but she wont let him besides she has a dagger, she offers it to Logain and what I can interpret from their conversation is that she will either let him kill her or give him the dagger so he can kill himself, she mentions "...what all those cut off from the One Power desire most of all"

Perrin and Mat are two of the least important of the main five characters so far with very little screen time plus I still don't know how their powers help or relate to Rand, they cant channel but still have to do with The Story that repeats over and over.

Perrin was help to escape by the pack of wolfs and Elyas who serve him as a guide to discover his powers, most of the things that they talk about are very vague, like Elyas doesn't want to talk to Perrin about his powers but let him discover them by instinct.

Liandrin has been trying to bond with Nynaeve for her own benefit, she has been talking about how great it will be to use her as the biggest wepon The White Tower has ever had but now she tricked her, sitting at the Arches Liandrin tells Nynaeve that there was an invasion on the west, a black smith from The Two Rivers traveling with an Ogier were caught prisoner, this is a lie because at this point because they WERE capture and then Perrin got away but that's not the point, Liandrin knows Nynaeve can't get out of the tower without reporting and if she does then she has to sneak out, Liandrin knows exactly what escape route she will take so she ambush her and knock her out, to make things worst Nynaeve was not alone she was with Egwene and Elayne who probably where not part of Liandrin plan. It is still yet to know why Liandrin ambush them and I think this time it has nothing to do with The White Tower and Nynaeve becoming an Aes Sedai.

Moiraine keeps looking for Rand every where but can't find him, she is starting to worry Lanfear will got him first but she has been with him all this time, none of the things that she plan for happen, Logain have not train Rand at all and Lanfear has been with Rand all this time.

Rand is starting to manifest his powers but only when he is under a lot of pressure, meaning when he is mad, angry and this makes him dangerous because this are the moments he has less control of himself but I wonder if this is exactly what Landfear wants, for some mysterious reason a Fade or Myrddraal appears and tries to attack Rand from the back, when they were together out side of Selene cabin at the top of the hill and Rand display his powers burning the Fade to aches.

This seem to be a turn on for Selene because very casual they go into the cabin, she wants more of Rand but this time not only sex, she ties him to the bed and confess to him that she is also a monster, Rand can't get out of his head that he will eventually go mad and kill everyone he loves with this power so he thinks he is a monster too and just in time but I'm not sure if this is good, Moraine cut her through from the back leaving Selene laying on the floor all bloody, what a mess.

Moiraine keep saying Lanfear/Selene is not good for Rand but so far he has done nothing to hurt him, the moment Moiraine shows up Selene was starting to channel and now I'm wondering what exactly she was going to do THANKS MOIRAINE!!! At first Rand gets mad as fuck with her and puts her against the wall because lucky for him Moiraine has no powers at the moment, if Moiraine had her powers she would probably kick Rand ass in a second, yes he is The Dragon but he has no training, similar Liandrin knock out Nynaeve, Egwene and Elayne all at the same time.

What annoys me of this episode is how many dark scenes there were, you really need a good video source and good definition screen to see all the dark colors and go through this scenes, but we are starting to see more characters channel for example Rand, Selene, Ishamael, I hope it comes to that and more characters channeling at the main battle of this series since at some point Rand will face Ishamael again either alone or with the rest of his friends. Another thing that bugs me is that Mat is set to some how kill Rand like its destiny so may be the same thing has happen over and over through their history, remember all this characters have reincarnate.

Finally knowing who Selene is, that's a great relieve, watching her doing nothing during the day and just fucking Rand at night was not fun for me, I knew there was something else than that but never thought she was a Forsaken, based on Moiraine one of the worst, the first scene when Ishamael wakes up a women cover in blood did make me think about Selene also Moiraine kept saying since episode one that their encounter with him was not the last battle and she was wrong, it was the start of everything and that he was going to awake a higher power. Season two is turning into a banger, I really like this series and would like to see at least five seasons if possible out of it, I don't know how far advance the story is at the moment compare to the books but over three seasons is a win. I give this episode a solid 8/10.

This time, Thailand is once again producing a worthy international recognition film titled “ Once Upon s Star”. With the backdrop of the 70’s in Thailand, the film tells a progression of film distribution in Thailand as well as the film industry in the country. It starts with the scenic countryside of Thailand and a yodeling style folk song while a caravan car moves along the rice field. But there’s nothing more poetic than when the film starts with a caption, “ We should find out what we love”. Then a woman holding cigarette from inside the caravan seemingly admiring the scenic views.

“ First you should find what you love” then it shows a picture that will also be the main subject of this movie. A picture of Mitr Chaibancha, a Thailand famous actor in the 70’s then shift once a gain to a typewriter which on it wrote “ Before you start to dream”. As you get to introduce some of the premise of the film, you’ll get to know the characters who will retell the progression of film distribution in Thailand.

In this film, it was shown that in Thailand back in the 70’s, traveling pharma troupe was the hype. What they do is basically traveling to rural side bringing and playing the films while also selling medicines. What’s worthy to note is that back in the day, the film was silent and there was no audio on it. It was reel of pictures which is why there’s a live dubber and it was a good profession back in the day.

In Once Upon a Star, it was Kao (Jirayu La-ongmanee), who work on the reels, while uncle Man (Samart Payukaroon) is the driver and Manit(Sukollawat Kanarot) was the live dubber. Their traveling pharma-cinema troupe faces a problem as they weren’t able to sell enough and that they don’t have enough live dubbers compared to their rival company Kampanat Company who has more dubber and even feature female dubber. As the crew passes Kampanat troupe, they got more viewers.

As they got into their base in Lopburi, they eventually met Ruengkae(Nuengthida Sophon), who applied as female dubbing artist. While the crew got excited, there was problem that in their company, none other than the crew could be inside the travel caravan. So, they essentially hide the existence of Ruengkae , who dreamed to work at an office and is trying to save money to buy a typewriter. The 4 of them traveled across villages and after they introduced Chom, they made more profits than they ever did. Halfway through the film, we are back to the narator voice which was revealed to be Chom who wrote that Mitr isn’t his real name but was a name given by director because he values friends above anything else in life. Kao who was at first workig on the reels now under Ruengkae is trained to be a live dubber. He has a dream that he wanted to be an actor just like Mitr.

Eventually what they were always afraid of came true. The manager found out about her but Manit argues that time is changing and they have to change they way they do things. As the repercussion, Manit was told that the last batch medicine could also mean to be the last of them. Then, a shocking news about Mitr dead reached them where the actor died while performing stunt from a helicopter. It shocked his fans as well as Manit who was also a big fan of Mitr. In this film, it also features the documentary of the incident in a vintage footage which also has a caption about it. While the crew was driving, they reminiscence the time they met Mitr and how they eventually got autograph. It was shown that during his time, he was the icon in Thai film industry. Even during his mounting, it was also shown that thousands of people coming to his funeral in Phra Khanong (one of districts in Bangkok).

After atteding the funeral, the crew went back to Phetchaburi to play one of Mitr’s film alongside kampanat’s company. The crew choses a movie that was fun and light-hearted while Kampanat’s choses an action film that was starred by Mitr. It was also shown the progression where the crew was relying on live dubber to now, including sound and music into showcasing the cinema. While manit was dubbing, it was revealed that during the meeting with Mitr, he said to manit “ you make me look good because of your voice, thank you. Thank you truly”.

Fast forward, eventually Ruengkae back to Pratunam and was gifted a typewriter by the crew. They were all separated and it was revealed from letter that Kao is now working as actor in a movie. While uncle Man won a lottery and he bought a new truck. Manit was unknow but in the end it was shown that cinema was eventually established and foreign movie was played in Thailand which marked a start of another era in the film industry.

Although this movie was 2 hours, you won’t really get bored as it was visually stunning and the story was captivating. Even for foreign audience and with little knowledge of the film industry over there, it was quite informative. These days, you see products placement on series or film but in the past, it was done differently where the film was the bridge between company and the consumer. I have to say that the idea of cinema-traveling troupe was quite brilliant especially when a country like Thailand has such a diverse landscape and a lot of its people are also spread around. But obviously, it was also a homage to the icon of film industry in that country at that time. Filled with banter, awesome screenwriting, and as well as actors, 2 hours felt like nothing. Somehow, the movie also shows about the idea of loving what you do and that is the part where I think a lot of us today could resonate. Just like the quotes in this film “ first you should find what you love. Before you start to dream.”

Personally, I did not regret setting notification for this film. I thought at first I was more like a traveling movie which turned out to be right, it involves a part of traveling but I didn’t expect it would talk about such a significant journey of film in Thailand. In the end, I do recommend this film especially if you enjoy browsing through foreign films.

Technology is making possible for studios to create all this shows that I would only dream off, I was born in the 80's a generation that have probably have seen the most advance in technology from phone land lines to smart phones, from manual special effects to now AI generated scenes.

I was never a fan of monsters movies because I had this bad impression from Godzilla (1998), I remember everyone had high hopes on this movie but eventually it was so dark and very few times Godzilla appear full body, all this recent advance in tech lead to some of the best Godzilla movies ever in terms of how the monsters look example Godzilla (2014) and Godzilla: King of The Monsters (2019) two of my favorite Monster after my number one monster movie Cloverfield (2008). After many years of not watching this type of Monster Titan movies or in terms of Monarch language MUTOS (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism) Cloverfield pick my interest because of how the movie was film in First Person so the monster itself was more of a mistery but for some reason got me interested enough so I gave a chance to Godzilla (2014) end up liking it and the watch the 2019 movie, end up loving and wanted more of what is now days called the Monster Verse, as always I don't want to pretend I'm an expert but took some time to read about Monarch and the Godzilla chronology.

That order is how I remember things work out for me from bad to great impression of Monsters movies, so far the only one I'm not that excited are Kong Movies, mostly because they are all the same but now that they making a series out of the movies it intrigue me to watch Godzilla vs Kongo (2021) and Kong: Skull Island (2017) since from my understanding they are related to the upcoming TV Series too.

Trailers at times might be either misinterpret ended or misleading, this TV Show wont be the exception as most people will want to watch Godzilla fighting from the first episode and I even doubt we will see it on the first episode. Apple TV had an early release and the embargo just ended so first comments without reaction or spoilers are coming up. From what I have seen on the trailers and what has been said its going to be very different than what everyone is expecting, this series at least season one will be about Monarch itself, from how it started, what happen in San Francisco on the 2014 movie to the 2019 movie so more than one time line going back and forward.

I really like how at least Godzilla itself looks but I think the 2019 movie was the final proof that tech is there to make this cool monsters come alive with their full blown powers. As any other story adapted to TV it wont be straight up close to say the "canonical" version of the story since they have to include the drama and sell the product, it is not to be a nerd out COJI TV Series but I'm sure will give more details of how everything started and might even turn into what UMBRELLA was to Resident Evil was the entire structure for most of the movies, everything happen around the corporation, similar might be with MONARCH, make the TV series relate the movies is what most viewers will want but but that could be hard to do for all Godzilla movies since there are so many with different Godzilla and some of the more traditional to the original story so even if they do manage to get the TV series close to a group set of this movies there will always be a few things that wont match as I mention because of all the Godzilla versions through the years.

From what I can tell the series will start with character Keiko, a women who was there at San Francisco 2014 when the Godzilla attack happen, she lost her father so the movie will work with probably different time lines going back and forward, to connect dots you will have to pay attention to details, it looks like her father was always working for MONARCH but she has no clue what is was so after he died she started to investigate what is this corporation.

This is just a trailer so the main target is to get people all hype about it but I expect the first season to be very slow with flash backs from others movies and scenes related to that timeline probably scenes that never make it to the movies, if we see Godzilla fighting twice is a win because if its going into every episode then I don't see it going more than two seasons and that will suck although it all depends if viewers stay interested, from what I have read and seen online from the director, on an interview he mention how the TV Series is trying to create a story around all the movies, essentially tell how MONARCH start to discover all this monsters give more details about them and probably not let things just to the imagination, how they are born, how they stay hidden and probably most important the reason for the attacks, all this keeping the spectacle the big show of Godzilla fights but also make it interesting at the people around MONARCH.

The main reason for this post is to actually give you my bad experience with this type Monster movies and how have been getting better through the years thanks to technology and better story, but mostly it is wise to keep expectation at a safe level with this type of content.

Synopsis: After discovering the unexpected suicide of her friend, a young bodyguard begins an intense journey in search of revenge to discover who was truly responsible for the motivation behind that act.

Asian action movies tend to have a very frantic pace. This seems to be one of the hallmarks of this genre, but in this South Korean movie things don't work exactly like that. Even though it has a short running time for these cinematographic standards, the script chooses to try to create greater empathy on the part of the audience in relation to everything that is being told, investing in the drama involving the two friends Minhee and Okju. The strategy doesn't work very well, because the drama is poorly developed and the level of action that should fuel the plot is weak.

Oscillating between two opposite paths, at times, the script tries to be a good example of action, at others, the idea is to create a dramatic atmosphere, reinforcing a bond of friendship. Neither of these two attempts work properly, and the accelerated pace of the plot only turns the entire narrative approach into something very superficial to the point of creating an artificial bubble within a story that had very introspective characteristics. If, on the one hand, the dramatic elements seem to support the fragile plot of the script, on the other, the same side is gradually nullified.

The fact that the script can't decide what it wants to show ends up really hindering the experience of watching this movie in a more immersive way. At first, the visual is frantic and shows a fast pace in the plot (with a good action sequence - and some touches of comedy - inside a simple convenience store), but the development of the story soon embraces a poorly formulated drama within your own proposal. Okju sets out to seek revenge, and only has a single name (Pro Choi), which was provided by Minhee through a farewell letter.

From then on, everything that happens in the plot is developed without further convincing arguments. All execution ideas for Okju's plan are always very easy to execute. From the meeting with the “villain” to a home invasion that was supposed to be minimally protected with a security system, a heroine without much personality is being constructed in the midst of a plot without much narrative impact. The only considerably stronger point of the movie are its few action scenes, which are still quite problematic.

At certain moments, the script tries to “make up” its flaws by making good use of aspects that are more technical (such as good lighting, with vibrant and almost “electrified” colors as they are always shown in very contrasting ways... in especially when there is a scene where the characters are in very constant movement), but this “disguise” soon loses its purpose when the narrative tries to establish itself again within a contextualization that becomes something increasingly boring, shallow and without a meaning to stay alive.

Although it has a charismatic protagonist (who is played by actress Jeon Jong-seo), the cast carries very caricatured tones in their respective characters, nullifying any possible seriousness about them. The performances aren't necessarily bad, but there's a lot of depth to their development. Not even the subversion of some expectations regarding the “importance” of some of them can raise the quality of the script, which is quite weak. There is no sense of urgency throughout the story, and in many moments the movie seems like an “elongated music video”.

The editing of scenes should greatly favor this type of action with more abrupt movements, but the cuts in many scenes are visibly poorly done and the “collage” creates a final “photo” lacking inspiration. Although the action scenes appear to be something creative (especially the scene inside a clandestine factory), the “John Wick” effect fails and is unable to create consistent fight scenes precisely because it did not know how to use these elements in accordance with the requirements that the movie created. There was a good intention to create something fun and dynamic, but it doesn't work.

Heaven of Horror

Directed and written by Chung-Hyun Lee, there are many flaws in this work, but even so it managed to overcome a more problematic approach through a more punctual direction at strategic moments (such as the consistent search for revenge at all times, even in the between the lines of the plot) and invested heavily in visual aesthetics that helped save the project from total failure. Ballerina is worth watching, but it will be forgotten very quickly because it is the type of movie that can easily be classified as generic within its own genre.

CRÍTICA DE PELÍCULA: “Bailarina” (2023)

Sinopsis: Después de descubrir el inesperado suicidio de su amiga, una joven guardaespaldas inicia un intenso viaje en busca de venganza para descubrir quién fue el verdadero responsable de la motivación detrás de ese acto.

Las películas de acción asiáticas suelen tener un ritmo muy frenético. Esta parece ser una de las señas de identidad de este género, pero en esta película surcoreana las cosas no funcionan exactamente así. Aunque tiene una duración corta para estos estándares cinematográficos, el guión opta por intentar crear una mayor empatía por parte del público en relación con todo lo que se cuenta, invirtiendo en el drama que involucra a los dos amigos Minhee y Okju. La estrategia no funciona muy bien, porque el drama está poco desarrollado y el nivel de acción que debería alimentar la trama es débil.

Oscilando entre dos caminos opuestos. Por momentos, el guión intenta ser un buen ejemplo de acción, en otras, la idea es crear una atmósfera dramática, reforzando un vínculo de amistad. Ninguno de estos dos intentos funciona adecuadamente, y el ritmo acelerado de la trama sólo convierte todo el planteamiento narrativo en algo muy superficial hasta el punto de crear una burbuja artificial dentro de una historia que tenía características muy introspectivas. Si, por un lado, los elementos dramáticos parecen sostener la frágil trama del guión, por otro, el mismo lado se va anulando poco a poco.

El hecho de que el guión no pueda decidir qué quiere mostrar acaba dificultando mucho la experiencia de ver esta película de una forma más inmersiva. Al principio, lo visual es frenético y muestra un ritmo rápido en la trama (con una buena secuencia de acción - y algunos toques de comedia - dentro de una sencilla tienda de conveniencia), pero el desarrollo de la historia pronto abraza un drama mal formulado dentro de su propia propuesta. Okju se propone buscar venganza y solo tiene un nombre (Pro Choi), que le fue proporcionado por Minhee a través de una carta de despedida.

A partir de ahí todo lo que sucede en la trama se desarrolla sin mayores argumentos convincentes. Todas las ideas de ejecución del plan de Okju son siempre muy fáciles de ejecutar. (sobre todo cuando hay una escena donde los personajes están en un movimiento muy constante), pero este “disfraz” pronto pierde su propósito cuando la narración intenta establecerse nuevamente dentro de una contextualización que se convierte en algo cada vez más aburrido, superficial y sin sentido para seguir con vida.

Aunque tiene una protagonista carismática (que es interpretada por la actriz Jeon Jong-seo), el elenco lleva tonos muy caricaturizados en sus respectivos personajes, anulando cualquier posible seriedad sobre ellos. Las actuaciones no son necesariamente malas, pero su desarrollo tiene mucha profundidad. Ni siquiera la subversión de algunas expectativas sobre la “importancia” de algunas de ellas puede elevar la calidad del guión, que es bastante débil. No hay sensación de urgencia a lo largo de la historia y en muchos momentos la película parece un “video musical alargado”.

Filmes de ação asiáticos costumam ter um ritmo bastante frenético. Essa parece ser uma das marcas registradas deste gênero, mas neste filme sul-coreano as coisas não funcionam exatamente assim. Mesmo tendo um tempo de duração curto para esses padrões cinematográficos, o roteiro opta por tentar criar uma maior empatia por parte do público em relação a tudo o que está sendo contado, investindo no drama envolvendo as duas amigas Minhee e Okju. A estratégia não funciona muito bem, porque o drama é mal desenvolvido e o nível de ação que deveria abastecer à trama é fraco.

Oscilando entre dois caminhos opostos, em alguns momentos o roteiro tenta ser um bom exemplar de ação, em outros, a ideia é criar uma atmosfera dramática reforçando um laço de amizade. Embora tenha uma protagonista carismática (que é interpretada pela atriz Jeon Jong-seo), o elenco carrega tons muito caricatos em seus respectivos personagens, anulando uma possível seriedade sobre os mesmos. As atuações não são necessariamente ruins, mas falta muita profundidade no desenvolvimento deles. Nem mesmo a subversão de algumas expectativas em relação a “importância” de alguns deles consegue elevar à qualidade do roteiro, que é bastante fraco. Não há um senso de urgência em toda a estória, e em muitos momentos o filme parece um “vídeo musical alongado”.

A edição de cenas deveria favorecer muito esse tipo de ação com movimentos mais abruptos, mas os cortes em muitas cenas são visivelmente mal feitos e “colagem” cria uma “foto” final carente de inspiração. Apesar das cenas de ação se mostrarem como algo criativo (principalmente a cena dentro de uma fábrica clandestina), o efeito “John Wick” falha e não consegue pavimentar cenas de lutas consistentes justamente porque não soube como utilizar esses elementos de acordo com à exigência que o filme criou. Houve à boa intenção em criar algo divertido e dinâmico, mas não funciona.

Dirigido e escrito por Chung-Hyun Lee, há muitas falhas neste trabalho, mas mesmo assim ele conseguiu superar uma abordagem mais problemática em meio a uma direção mais pontual em momentos estratégicos (como à consistente busca por vingança em todos os momentos, até mesmo nas entrelinhas da trama) e apostou fortemente em estéticas visuais que ajudaram a salvar o projeto do fracasso total. A Bailarina vale à pena ser assistido, mas será esquecido bem rápido porque é aquele tipo de filme que pode ser facilmente classificado como genérico dentro do seu próprio gênero.

Police stories have a great appeal to the public. In my case it is the only thing I like about the police, in real life I have rejection towards the security forces, because of so many cases of police abuse, mistreatment, corruption etc.

This time it is a series from the UK, specifically made in Ireland, a detail that caught my attention. If you have been following me for a long time, you will know that I have a predilection for series made in that part of the world. Perhaps because they often work with actors who are not well known worldwide, bringing more credibility to the story, plus I notice a higher level both in the scripts and in the production.

The creators of this series have a lot of experience in this kind of productions. Gilles Banier is the most experienced and I have seen other series. One of them was Trigger Point, which I reviewed some time ago and which told the story of a bomb squad, a series that is about to do a second season. Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson are the other creators who are making a name for themselves in the industry. From both of them I have previously seen The Salisbury and Hidden Agent.

Las historias policiales tienen un gran atractivo para el público. En mi caso es lo único que me gusta de la policía, en la vida real tengo rechazo hacia las fuerzas de seguridad, por tantos casos de abusos policiales, malos tratos, corrupción etc.

En esta ocasión se trata de una serie del Reino Unido, concretamente realizada en Irlanda, detalle que me llamó la atención. Si me sigues desde hace tiempo, sabrás que tengo predilección por las series hechas en esa parte del mundo. Quizás porque muchas veces trabajan con actores que no son muy conocidos a nivel mundial, aportando más credibilidad a la historia, además noto un mayor nivel tanto en los guiones como en la producción.

Los creadores de esta serie tienen bastante experiencia en este tipo de producciones. Gilles Banier es el más experimentado y he visto otras series. Una de ellas fue Trigger Point, que reseñé hace algún tiempo y que contaba la historia de un escuadrón de artificieros, una serie que está por hacer una segunda temporada. Declan Lawn y Adam Patterson son los otros creadores que se están haciendo un nombre en la industria. De ambos he visto anteriormente The Salisbury y Hidden Agent.

The three minds behind Blue Lights know how to handle the essential elements of a crime series that aspires to stand out. The use of pacing, pausing when the dramatic intent needs it and intensifying it when they want to increase the tension and excitement in the viewer. Decoration and setting trying to make it as real as possible, to give us the feeling of immersion, so we will have the feeling of being accompanying the policemen. In addition to an appropriate use of common themes in police dramas along with cliffhanger that push us to want to know what is going to happen.

Another very important aspect for a successful police series is the construction of each of the characters. From the smallest to the most important they are three dimensional, they are beings with a story behind them and the performances of the cast drive them. I remember many years ago, an American series about cops and firefighters, called Thrid Watch, kept me hooked thanks to the chemistry the characters conveyed on screen. The same is true here, and at a much higher level, because if there is one thing that characterizes most productions coming out of the UK, it is the quality of the performers.

Las tres mentes detrás de Blue Lights saben manejar los elementos esenciales de una serie policíaca que aspira a destacar. El uso del ritmo, haciendo pausas cuando la intención dramática lo necesita e intensificándolo cuando quieren aumentar la tensión y la emoción en el espectador. Decoración y ambientación intentando que sea lo más real posible, para darnos la sensación de inmersión, de esta forma tendremos la sensación de estar acompañando a los policías. Además de un uso adecuado de temas habituales en los dramas policiales junto con cliffhanger que nos empujen a querer saber que va a pasar.

Otro aspecto muy importante para que una serie policial tenga éxito es la construcción de cada uno de los personajes. Desde el más pequeño hasta el más importante son tridimensionales, son seres con una historia detrás y las actuaciones del elenco los impulsan. Recuerdo que hace muchos años, una serie americana sobre policías y bomberos, llamada Thrid Watch, me mantuvo enganchado gracias a la química que transmitían los personajes en pantalla. En esta ocasión ocurre lo mismo y a un nivel muy superior, porque si algo caracteriza a la mayoría de las producciones procedentes del Reino Unido es la calidad de los intérpretes.

Hola a toda esta gran comunidad de Hive, el día de hoy me permito hablarles de una aplicación que se dedica a las ventas, la cual es Mercado libre, recientemente actualizaron la app y agregaron un apartado al cual denominaron Mercado play, decidí echar un vistazo a su contenido, el cual tiene algunas películas, series, contenido infantil de Disney y videos acerca de los productos que se ofrecen en la misma aplicación, después de un rato escogí una película, la cual me llamó la atención y me dispuse a verla de principio a fin, por que soy de las personas que ven las películas completitas, aun cuando no haya sido mi mejor elección, para poder dar una opinión real basándome en toda la peli.

Hello to all this great community of Hive, today I want to talk about an application that is dedicated to sales, which is Mercado libre, recently they updated the app and added a section which they called Mercado play, I decided to take a look at its content, which has some movies, series, Disney children's content and videos about the products offered in the same application, Disney children's content and videos about the products offered in the same application, after a while I chose a movie, which caught my attention and I decided to watch it from beginning to end, because I am one of those people who watch movies in full, even if it was not my best choice, to be able to give a real opinion based on the whole movie.

Les voy a ser sincera, es el post que mas tiempo me ha tomado, ya que estuve enferma de dengue, y me ha dejado con debilidad, por lo que al escribir realizo muchas pausas, no por que sea una mala película, sino por que después de realizar mis actividades cotidianas, aun queriendo escribir, me duermo por horas. Hoy les voy a hablar de una muy buena película llamada "Whiplash", protagonizada por Miles Teller, en la cual podemos ver una mezcla de emociones las cuales llevan al protagonista al límite.

I'll be honest, this is the post that has taken me the longest time, since I was sick with dengue fever, and it has left me with weakness, so when I write I make many pauses, not because it is a bad movie, but because after doing my daily activities, even wanting to write, I fall asleep for hours. Today I am going to talk about a very good movie called "Whiplash", starring Miles Teller, in which we can see a mixture of emotions which take the protagonist to the limit.

La verdad elegí esta película ya que trata de un joven músico baterista de jazz que se encuentra en el conservatorio tratando de ser el mejor con su instrumento para poder aspirar a ser un integrante del mejor conjunto de Jazz del conservatorio, el cual toca en concursos de las mejores bandas. Me gusta ver pelis de música o baile ya que ambas son arte y le dan vida a sentimientos, emociones y te hacen vibrar a través de los protagonistas, este caso no es la excepción ya que la pasión y la entrega que muestra Andrew para lograr su objetivo es inquietante.

Este drama musical, te deja ver la pasión con la que cada personaje lucha para lograr su objetivo, aun llegando a los límites de la salud mental y física.

The truth is that I chose this movie because it is about a young jazz drummer who is in the conservatory trying to be the best with his instrument in order to aspire to be a member of the best jazz ensemble of the conservatory, which plays in competitions of the best bands. I like to watch movies about music or dance as both are art and give life to feelings, emotions and make you vibrate through the protagonists, this case is no exception as the passion and dedication that Andrew shows to achieve his goal is disturbing.

This musical drama, lets you see the passion with which each character fights to achieve their goal, even reaching the limits of mental and physical health.

Les he de ser sincera, esta peli la vi hace ya algunas semanas y tenia planeado hacer mis post acerca de ella, por que en realidad me atrapó, generalmente antes de escribir acerca de algo suelo investigar para saber de lo que hablo, y en esta ocasión me llevé una enorme sorpresa al investigar acerca de esta cinta, y darme cuenta que es multi premiada, se estrenó en el Festival de cine Sundance de 2014, en el cual obtuvo varios premios y poco después fue nominada a cinco categorías de los premios Oscar de los cuales obtuvo tres así como muchos otro premios en otro festivales de cine en su momento.

No es mi intención narrarles toda la cinta, pero lo que si les puedo decir es que es excelente y si te gusta la música vas a disfrutar de la banda sonora con muy buenos temas de jazz, en cuanto a las actuaciones, te harán sentir la presión de ser el mejor.

A decir verdad, pienso que a las actuales generaciones no les gustaría o mas bien verían hasta cierto punto abusiva y excesiva la presión por ser el mejor, no lo entenderían ya que ahora todo lo quieren fácil.

I have to be honest, I saw this movie a few weeks ago and I had planned to make my posts about it, because it really caught me, usually before writing about something I usually research to know what I'm talking about, and this time I was very surprised when I researched about this film, It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014, where it won several awards and shortly after it was nominated for five categories of the Oscars, of which it won three, as well as many other awards at other film festivals at the time.

It is not my intention to narrate the whole film, but what I can tell you is that it is excellent and if you like music you will enjoy the soundtrack with very good jazz themes, as for the performances, they will make you feel the pressure to be the best.

To tell the truth, I think that the current generations would not like or rather they would see to some extent abusive and excessive pressure to be the best, they would not understand it because now everything they want is easy.

Politics, Conspiracy, Terrorism, political technology - all these are quite difficult subject when it comes to film. Although those subject are fun but sometimes, they are not something that can be watched at leisure. So, again this series isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But if you enjoy the topics I mentioned, don’t forget to check this one out as it provides a nice look into South Korean politics and problems.

Truth is, when I first read the title, I thought designated survivor was more of a survival apocalyptic film or some experiment about apocalyptic government and dystopian society. But I found out, apparently Designated Survivor 60 Days is adaptation from American series with the same title. After watching both, Designated Survivor 60 days is a lot shorter and more digestible than the main series. The main series were quite complex and the problem wasn’t really my thing. It’s why I prefer watching the 60 days and shorter version of the series than the original American version series.

There are differences between the original and adaptation series of it. Designated Survivor 60 Days is filmed in South Korea with a lot more shorter time frame than Designated Survivor from the US. The main difference is obviously how their constitution works which is the base of how the plot of the film will move.

In the South Korean Version, instead of the staff that survived it, it was one of the underdog minister who survived the bombing attack in the National Assembly of ROK(Republic of Korea). The minister was about to resign because he failed in securing a deal with the US regarding imported cars. But because it wasn’t proceed, the minister got lucky and eventually became the acting president of ROK as the president and the cabinets are all passed away.

The minister who had no political background and was from engineering major and was an environment minister found it hard to navigate live in the blue house. But with help of competent secretaries, he shortly rose to power and helped unveiling the conspirator behind bombing in the National Assembly of ROK.

Although the plot was solid, once you watched way too many South Korean film, the topics would remain the same. It was them vs North Korea and/or attempt to reach peace treaty because they’re technically still at war. It was the same with this drama where there was an attempt of peace treaty between two countries. What intriguing was that the country shown to be divided as they are also allies to the United States. So, in the film it was shown that one party wanted a peace but another wanted to maintain a good friendship with the United States. It was also hinted that the involvement of United States would certainly cause a war in the Korean Peninsula where there are China, Japan and North Korea.

Considering that this was intended for South Korean audience, I think that it was a good way to make people re-think about the involvement of United States. For outside audience, given the track record of the US, it was no wonder that somehow, they’re brokering, presence, even softly meddling in foreign countries affair. But there was also a part in the series that was showing how general south korean feel about the “discrimination act” where it was hinted towards the sexual minorities in South Korea. Generally, it was still seen as taboo which is why in that film and set within the government, even behind the curtain everyone was divided.

The series has good tier South Korean actor and actresses as well. In fact, one of my favorite actor Son Suk-Ku was taking a secondary main character in the series. The acting of each of them was quite believable and they were all young. It almost felt like watching a real governance at play and instead a film. Unfortunately, the ending was quite a cliffhanger but it was worth it and hopefully they’re thinking about making a sequel to this or season 2 because we would love to see more from the president and if he’ll be an actual president in the next series.
