I don't know why but I always get excited when I see Denzel Washington in a new movie of course this is not a new movie but the truth is I try not to miss any movie where he appears, for me the guy has that presence that makes you stay glued to the screen and in The Book of Eli from 2010 he definitely didn't disappoint me at all. This movie caught my attention from the first moment because it mixes the post apocalyptic world with religious elements in a way I had never seen before, although I must admit that at the beginning I didn't really know what to expect. The Hughes brothers who directed this thing really knew how to create a dense and oppressive atmosphere is seen in the visuals which by the way is something I really liked because it makes you feel inside the scene and I came to believe that I was walking through that dusty desert along with Eli. Denzel plays Eli, a man who walks west for thirty years carrying the last sacred book left on earth after a nuclear war destroyed civilization, I really wouldn't dare mess with this guy hehehe.

Yo no sé por que pero siempre me emociono cuando veo a Denzel Washington en una pelicula nueva claro esta no es una peli nueva pero la verdad trato de no perderme ninguna donde el aparece, es que para mí el tipo tiene esa presencia que hace que te quedes pegado a la pantalla y en The Book of Eli del 2010 definitivamente no me decepcionó para nada. Esta pelicula me llamo la atencion desde el primer momento porque mezcla el mundo post apocaliptico con elementos religiosos de una manera que nunca antes había visto, aunque debo admitir que al principio no sabía muy bien que esperar. Los hermanos Hughes que dirigieron esta cosa realmente supieron como crear una atmosfera densa y opresiva se ve en la parte visual que por cierto es algo que me gustó mucho porque hace que te sientas dentro de la escena y llegué a creer que estaba caminando por ese desierto polvoriento junto con Eli. Denzel interpreta a Eli, un hombre que camina hacia el oeste durante treinta años llevando el ultimo libro sagrado que queda en la tierra después de que una guerra nuclear destruyó la civilización, la verdad yo no me atrevería a meterme con este tipo jejeje.

One of the things I liked the most about this movie is that they reveal the information little by little and they never tell you everything at once but they give you clues here and there until at the end everything makes sense in a way that leaves you with your mouth open, I always like movies that make you think and guess because that way I get more hooked. Every scene looks like a post apocalyptic painting because there are gray clouds and dust floating in the air, it reminded me a lot of Mad Max but with a more spiritual and philosophical touch that gives it a completely different dimension. Gary Oldman plays the role of the bad guy Carnegie, a guy who controls a small town and desperately wants the book of Eli because he knows that the words have the power to control the masses, I found this character interesting because he is not evil just because, but has very clear but twisted motivations. The action scenes are brutal, Eli fights with a machete and the way Denzel executes those fight sequences makes you believe that he really is an experienced warrior, there is a scene in the bar where he faces several guys at the same time and it is too much action and violence I think this is why I like his movies so much.

Una de las cosas que más me gusto de esta película es que van revelando la información poco a poco y nunca te dicen todo de una vez sino que te van dando pistas aqui y alla hasta que al final todo cobra sentido de una manera que te deja con la boca abierta, siempre me gustán las pelis que te hacen pensar y adivinar porque así me enganchan más. Cada escena parece una pintura post apocaliptica porque hay unas nubes grises y el polvo se ve flotando en el aire, eso me recordó mucho a Mad Max pero con un toque mas espiritual y filosofico que le da una dimension completamente diferente. Gary Oldman hace el papel del malo de la peli Carnegie, un tipo que controla un pequeño pueblo y que quiere desesperadamente el libro de Eli porque sabe que las palabras tienen poder para controlar a las masas, este personaje me parecio interesante porque no es malvado porque si, sino que tiene motivaciones muy claras aunque retorcidas. Las escenas de accion estan brutales, Eli pelea con un machete y la manera en que Denzel ejecuta esas secuencias de pelea hace creer que realmente es un guerrero con experiencia, hay una escena en el bar donde se enfrenta a varios tipos al mismo tiempo y es demasiada acción y violencia creo que por esto es que me gustan tanto las pelis de él.

Mila Kunis plays Solara s a young girl who lives in the town of Carnegie and ends up following Eli on his journey, the truth is that this performance was what I liked the least of the whole movie and I'm not saying she is a bad actress, but here I thought she was out of place, as if she had come out of a romantic comedy and had been put in the middle of the apocalypse, plus I appreciated that she does not have much chemistry with Denzel and does not work well at all. But I really liked that her character evolves throughout the story, she starts as a naive girl who doesn't know the outside world and ends up becoming someone stronger and more determined, it's a good development but I think another actress would have been able to convey that transformation better. Tom Waits also appears I really liked seeing him there although he appears very little time, he is an engineer who fixes electronic equipment to me it seems that the guy always gives a special touch to any film in which he appears, even if it is for a few minutes. The secondary characters are well developed, especially the bad guys who are a threat and every time a survivor appears I am reminded of how dangerous this world is where civilization is completely destroyed.

Mila Kunis interpreta a Solara s una chica joven que vive en el pueblo de Carnegie y que termina siguiendo a Eli en su viaje, la verdad es que esta actuación fue lo que menos me gustó de toda la pelicula y no estoy diciendo que sea mala actriz, pero aqui me pareció que estaba como fuera de lugar, como si hubiera salido de una comedia romántica y la hubieran puesto en medio del apocalipsis, además que me apreció que no tiene mucha química con Denzel y no funciona bien del todo. Pero si me gustó mucho que su personaje evoluciona a lo largo de la historia, empieza siendo una chica ingenua que no conoce el mundo exterior y termina convirtiéndose en alguien más fuerte y determinado, es un buen desarrollo pero creo que otra actriz hubiera logrado transmitir mejor esa transformación. Tom Waits también aparece me gustó mucho verlo allí aunque sale muy poco tiempo, es un ingeniero que arregla equipos electrónicos a mí me parece que el tipo siempre le da un toque especial a cualquier película en la que aparece, aunque sea por unos pocos minutos. Los personajes secundarios están bien desarrollados, sobretodo los malos que son una amenaza y cada vez que aparece algún sobreviviente me recuerda lo peligroso que es este mundo donde la civilización se destruyó completamente.

At the end of the movie there is a big change and you discover that Eli has been blind during the whole trip, this shocked me but I understood the reason for many things that seemed strange during the movie and when I found out I realized that everything made sense. Although when I realized this, I wanted to re-watch the whole movie from the beginning to catch all the clues I missed, I think this is the kind of revelation that makes a good movie an excellent one because it completely changes your perspective on everything you just saw. The fact that the book is written in braille and Eli has memorized it word for word during his years of daily reading is great and when he arrives at Alcatraz and starts reciting the entire Bible from memory to get it printed again, it's a pretty powerful moment. The Book of Eli touches on deep themes about faith, the power of words and how religion can be used for both good and evil, Carnegie wants the book to manipulate people while Eli protects it because he understands its true spiritual value. I like that it's not a movie where they preach you alpha or try to force you to have a specific religious view, instead it presents you with different views and lets you draw your own conclusions about the power of faith and the importance of preserving knowledge.

Al final final de la peli hay un gran cambio y es que descubres que Eli ha estado ciego durante todo el viaje, esto me impresionó pero entendí la razón de muchas cosas que parecian extrañas durante la película y al descubrirlo me di cuenta de que ya todo tenía sentido. Aunque cuando me di cuenta de esto, quería volver a ver toda la peli desde el principio para así captar todas las pistas que se me pasaron por alto, yo creo que este el tipo de revelación que hace que una buena película se convierta en una excelente porque cambia completamente tu perspectiva sobre todo lo que acabas de ver. El hecho de que el libro este escrito en braille y que Eli lo haya memorizado palabra por palabra durante sus años de lectura diaria es genial y cuando llega a Alcatraz y empieza a recitar toda la Biblia de memoria para que la impriman otra vez, es un momento bastante poderoso. For me in this movie the direction of the Hughes brothers is very good although I must say that in some moments I thought the plot was a little slow especially in the second part where the pace slows down a lot and there are some scenes that are unnecessary. As I said the visual part is very good also the costumes and even the weapons, everything looks very real and believable in that world that is destroyed. The main message about the importance of preserving culture and knowledge in dark times got to me quite a lot I think it's very relevant and I like how they convey it and they are not obvious or heavy at all. My score for The Book of Eli is 7.5/10, it's a movie that combines action, drama and spiritual elements in a pretty balanced way, it has some flaws in the script and in certain performances but I think at least Denzel Washington ate it in this role and that change at the end with the revelation that Eli is blind makes it more interesting. I think I would watch it again to catch all the details I missed, I definitely recommend watching it, it's a completely different post apocalyptic movie and has a lot more substance than just explosions and shootouts.

Para mí en esta peli la dirección de los hermanos Hughes es muy buena aunque debo decirlo en algunos momentos me pareció que la trama era un poco lenta más que todo en la segunda parte donde el ritmo baja muchjo y hay algunas escenas que son como innecesarias. Como dije la parte visual es muy buena también también el vestuario y hasta las armas, todo se ve super real y creible dentro de ese mundo que está destruido. El mensaje principal sobre la importancia de preservar la cultura y el conocimiento en tiempos oscuros me llegó bastante me parece que es muy relevante y me gusta como lo transmiten y no son nada obvios ni pesados. Mi puntuación para The Book of Eli es 7.5/10, es una película que combina acción, drama y elementos espirituales de una manera bastante equilibrada, tiene algunas fallas en el guion y en ciertas actuaciones pero pero creo que por lo menos Denzel Washington se la comió en este papel y ese cambio al final con la revelación de que Eli es ciego la hace más interesante. Creo que volvería a verla para asdí agarrar todos los detalles que se me escaparon, definitivamente recomiendo verla es una peli post apocalíptica completamente diferente y tiene muchio mas de sustancia que solo explosiones y tiroteos.

Hush... A Disturbing Silence. I have been delighted with a new story, where horror is not only present; but this genre is again combined with mystery and suspense; as well as with the genres of psychological horror, slasher and home invasion. For this, there are directors who are masters at mixing all these aspects and offering films with absolute quality. We are talking about Mike Flanagan who has multiple films to his credit, where the aforementioned genres and genres are expressed; in addition to this, he also writes his stories and among them; we find the film Hush. The referred film; although it dates back to 2016, I confess that I had not enjoyed it and I almost regret not having done so; but it is never late when happiness comes. Now; this horror gem, despite not having an extensive amount of characters, was not an impediment for us not to have before our eyes, a film worthy of enjoying.
Hush stars Kate Siegel, who was also the writer of this film; she is also the director's wife. Make no mistake; because Kate's performance in the role of Maddie has been totally masterful. In short and to close the subject of the director; from my point of view I can say, that Mike is a magician of terror; however, beyond generating a simple fear, this director is a genius when it comes to creating masterful stories full of suspense, mystery and a disturbing atmosphere that leaves us glued to the seat. And I say this because although it took me a long time to see Hush, I had previously enjoyed Mike's films, such as Absentia and Oculus; precisely in the latter, Kate Siegel also starred.

It seems unbelievable; but we are used to movies where the noise is overwhelming; we have explosions, riots and in the case of horror; we hear screams everywhere that leave us stunned. But what strikes me about this film is the power with which the tension and the whole atmosphere of suspense and anguish that we feel at all times is put on the table. In general terms, here is an impressive twist in the aspect of home invasion; all done with incredible intelligence and said with few words; because if you did not know, the actress plays a writer who because of a meningitis that occurred in her childhood, has left her deaf and mute; she likes the tranquility and peace with her cat; but I do not understand why people like to live in houses located in the middle of nowhere hehehehehehe; well, movie stuff.

If we get into the plot; we enjoy quiet moments with Maddie, who as I said before, is a writer of novels and if I'm not mistaken, they are horror themes. The friend Maddie lives in an extremely secluded house in order to seek the inspiration she needs. But all this has changed; because for no apparent reason, disturbing moments are approaching for her, due to a cruel and deadly threat that watches her dangerously. Now; we know that this girl has a hearing and vocal disability; which could make her an easy prey. However, the disability becomes an important aspect within the plot, making the protagonist use all her inventiveness to overcome the dangers that lie ahead; the story is extremely cool and proves that to enjoy a good movie; the story and the actions surpass the dialogues.

Living the film second by second; we realize that simple scares and cheap violence have no place in this film. On the contrary; the plot is wrapped in the genius of the protagonist to stay alive; it is a proof that the hunter does not always have it easy. And another aspect that I like; is the way the director makes us part of the story; he makes us feel that we are vulnerable like Maddie, but at the same time very strong to try to survive. Also; we should not worry about the silence, since it is part of the story and from my point of view, it is also a latent character that sharpens the tension during the development of the story, making the other senses to be used to move forward and not die trying.

If we talk about the characters; Kate's performance enchanting Maddie, is extremely great. I never imagined that without speaking during the plot, the importance of this character could be revealed; since the communication is given through expressions, body language and looks that indicate fear, pain, anguish; but at the same time show the strength and will to live; which makes every moment, a constant generation of danger, anxiety and defense. We cannot leave aside the performance of the murderer; because he is the one who generates all that tension and psychological terror; yes, he does not want to end it all in one blow; but he plays with the situation of the protagonist and although sometimes the murderers are a little silly and perform incoherent actions; there is no doubt that the psychological game is very good.

I can't fail to mention that this is also a powerful thriller that delves into the power of human resilience when facing adverse situations. Here it is not about escaping from a ghost, an entity, or a diabolical possession; it is about fighting for your life, inventing and reinventing the way to escape from something you did not seek, from someone who is watching you and wants you to break psychologically. We experience all this as an audience and it makes us think that we can help Maddie in those moments when the murderer can catch her unawares.

It is simply a story that you must enjoy, since its narrative is masterful and gives us to know the other side of silence; without a doubt you should not miss Hush and you will see that you will be kept in suspense; in addition, you will realize all the tools that the protagonist uses to defend herself and communicate. Of course, everyone has their own tastes and there may be moments where the plot becomes a little slow, but in general terms it is a movie to be recommended. Another thing I invite you to find out is if there is any relationship between the attacker and Maddie, or if there is any motive that drives the murderer to go to such extremes; enjoy it and then tell me about it, see you soon.

Me he deleitado con una nueva historia, donde el terror no solo esta presente; sino que este género, nuevamente se combina con el misterio y el suspenso; así como también con los su géneros de terror psicológico, slasher e invasión al hogar. Para ello; existen directores que son unos maestros mezclando todos estos aspectos y ofrecernos filmes con absoluta calidad. Hablamos de Mike Flanagan quien tiene en su haber múltiples películas, donde se expresan los géneros y su géneros antes mencionados; además de ello, también escribe sus historias y entre ellas; encontramos el filme Hush. La referida película; aunque tiene data del 2016, confieso que no la había disfrutado y casi me arrepiento de no haberlo hecho; pero nunca es tarde cuando la dicha llega. Ahora; esta joya de terror, a pesar de no tener una extensa cantidad de personajes, no fue impedimento para que no tengamos ante nuestros ojos, una película digna de disfrutar.
Hush es protagonizada por Kate Siegel, quien también fue escritora de este filme; además, como dato importante, es esposa del director. No se equivoquen; porque la actuación de Kate en el papel de Maddie ha sido totalmente magistral. En definitiva y para cerrar el tema del director; desde mi punto de vista puedo decir, que Mike es un mago del terror; sin embargo, más allá de generar un miedo sencillo, este director es un genio en cuanto a la creación de historias magistrales llenas de suspenso, misterio y una atmósfera perturbadora que nos deja pegado al asiento. Y lo digo; porque aunque tardé mucho en ver Hush, con anterioridad había disfrutado películas de Mike, tales como Absentia y Oculus; precisamente en esta última, también actuó Kate Siegel.

Parece mentira; pero estamos acostumbrados a las películas donde el ruido es abrumador; tenemos explosiones, disturbios y en el caso del terror; escuchamos gritos por doquier que nos dejan aturdidos. Pero lo que me llama la atención de este filme, es el poder con que se pone en el tapete la tensión y toda la atmósfera de suspenso y angustia que sentimos en todo momento. En términos generales, aquí se da un giro impresionante en el aspecto de la invasión en el hogar; todo hecho con inteligencia increíble y dicho con pocas palabras; porque si no lo sabían, la actriz encarna a una escritora que a causa de una meningitis ocurrida en su infancia, la ha dejado sorda y muda; a ella le gusta la tranquilidad y la paz junto a su gato; pero no entiendo porque a la gente le gusta vivir en casas localizadas en medio de la nada jejejeje; bueno, cosas de película.

Si nos adentramos en la trama; disfrutamos de momentos tranquilos con Maddie, quien como dije antes, es una escritora de novelas y si no me equivoco, son temas de terror. La amiga Maddie vive en una casa sumamente apartada con el fin de buscar la inspiración que necesita. Pero todo esto ha cambiado; porque sin razón aparente, se acercan momentos inquietantes para ella, debido a una amenaza cruel y mortal que la observa peligrosamente. Ahora; sabemos que esta chica tiene una discapacidad auditiva y vocal; lo que la podría convertir en una presa facil. Sin embargo, la discapacidad se convierte en un aspecto importante dentro de la trama, haciendo que la protagonista utilice toda su inventiva para sortear los peligros que se avecinan; la historia es sumamente genial y se demuestra que para disfrutar de una buena película; la historia y las acciones sobrepasan los diálogos.

Viviendo la película segundo a segundo; nos damos cuenta que los simples sustos y la violencia barata no tienen cabida en esta película. Al contrario; la trama se ve envuelta en la genialidad de la protagonista para mantenerse viva; es una prueba que el cazador, no siempre la tiene fácil. Y otro aspecto que me gusta; es la forma como el director nos hace formar parte de la historia; nos hace sentir que somos vulnerables como Maddie, pero al mismo tiempo muy fuertes para intentar sobrevivir. Además; no debemos preocuparnos por el silencio, ya que forma parte de la historia y desde mi pensar, también es un personaje latente que agudiza mucho más la tensión durante el desarrollo de la historia, haciendo que los demás sentidos sean utilizados para avanzar y no morir en el intento.

Si hablamos de los personajes; la actuación de Kate encanrnando a Maddie, es sumamente genial. Nunca imaginé que sin hablar durante la trama, se pudiera dar a conocer la importancia de este personaje; ya que la comunicación se da por medio de expresiones, lenguaje corporal y con miradas que indican temor, dolor, angustia; pero al mismo tiempo demuestran la fuerza y las ganas de vivir; lo que hace de cada instante, una constante generación de peligro, zozobra y defensa. No podemos dejar de lado la actuación del asesino; porque es quien genera toda esa tensión y terror psicológico; eso sí, no desea acabar con todo de un solo golpe; sino que juega con la situación de la protagonista y aunque a veces los asesinos son un poco tontos y realizan acciones incoherentes; no cabe duda que el juego psicológico es muy bueno.

No puedo dejar de mencionar que esto también es un poderoso thriller que profundiza el poder de la resiliencia del ser humano, al momento de enfrentar situaciones adversas. Aquí no se trata de escapar de un fantasma, un ente, o una posesión diabólica; se trata de luchar por tu vida, de inventar y reinventar la manera de escapar de algo que no has buscado, de alguien que te observa y desea que te quiebres psicológicamente. Todo esto lo vivimos como público y nos hace pensar, que podemos ayudar a Maddie en esos momentos donde el asesino la puede agarrar desprevenida.

Sencillamente es una historia que debes disfrutar, ya que su narrativa es magistral y nos da a conocer la otra cara del silencio; sin lugar a dudas no debes perderte Hush y verás que te mantendrás en suspenso; además, te darás cuenta de todas las herramientas que usa la protagonista para defenderse y comunicarse. Claro está, que cada quien tiene sus gustos y pueden haber momentos en donde la trama se torne un poco lenta, pero en términos generales es una película para ser recomendada. Otra cosa que te invito a descubrir es si existe alguna relación entre el atancante y Maddie, o si existe algún motivo que impulse al asesino a llegar a esos extremos; disfrútala y luego me cuentas, nos vemos pronto.

The death of the child actress who starred in this acclaimed movie brought me here. When I watched "The Man From Nowhere", my heart was heavy at the loss of such a very talented actress. Kim Sae-ron died by suicide and I just couldn't stop wandering why she had to travel that route at 24. It's really so sad!

The Man From Nowhere is a 2010 movie which was the highest-grossing Korean film of that year.

Directed by Lee Jeong-beom, and starring Won Bin and Kim Sae-ron, it is a thriller that keeps you at the edge of your seat for the whole runtime of 119 minutes.

The reason I've fallen deeply in love with Korean movies is that they never fail to deliver, you can never experience a dull moment watching them.

Cha Tae-sik (played by Won Bin) is quiet and an introvert. He runs a small pawnshop in a drab neighborhood and wears this melancholic look everytime. He has no friends and hardly interacts with people outside business. But for So-mi, a neglected, talkative little girl who lives next door, he had a soft spot.

So-mi’s mother is a drug addict who steals a stash of heroin from a dangerous criminal syndicate. As a result, both mother and daughter are kidnapped by the gang.

Tae-sik is forced out of his shell because of his love for So-mi. But what the criminals didn't bargain for was that he is not just an ordinary pawnshop owner but a former black ops agent, a government assassin who disappeared after a tragic personal loss.

His quest to rescue So-mi because of the bond he shares with her and also because of his past grief, makes him to embark on a relentless and violent journey. Along the way, he uncovers the horrifying world of child trafficking, organ harvesting, and narcotics, and set out to dismantle it, one bloody step at a time.

To me "The Man from Nowhere isn’t just an action movie—it’s a heart-wrenching story about trauma and how it can feel like, when bottled up over time. The violence is purposeful, the emotions are raw, and the performances are unforgettable. It is known as one of Korea’s finest modern thrillers.

Diving into Psycho Pass felt less like watching fiction and more like staring into a reflection I wasn’t prepared to see. The premise alone shook me: a society where your potential for criminal behavior is quantified and judged before you act. That concept wrapped around my thoughts for days, not because of how foreign it seemed, but because of how easily I could imagine it happening. Technology already predicts what we want to buy or who we might love. How far is it from predicting what we might destroy? I didn’t feel like a distant viewer. I felt like someone being measured, quietly, invisibly, always.

Learning about the Sybil System made me uncomfortable in a way I couldn’t ignore. It wasn’t the cold, futuristic mechanics of it that disturbed me most. It was the calm acceptance from the world around it. People had stopped questioning whether it was right to be watched so closely. They’d traded moral complexity for safety, and it looked peaceful on the outside. But underneath, there was a violence not in blood, but in surrender. That struck me personally. I started wondering how often I silence parts of myself to fit into systems I don’t understand but still obey. I started thinking of all the quiet ways we give up freedom every day, just to feel like we belong.

Cracks in the perfect system showed through the characters more than anything else. Akane’s journey was painful to witness because she never stopped hoping. She didn’t rebel the way I expected. She didn’t burn the world down. She stood in it. She stayed awake. Her strength came from looking into the worst parts of the world and still choosing to think. That hit me hard. I kept asking myself if I would do the same. Could I stay kind in a place that weaponizes fear? Could I stay open in a world where thinking too much might get me flagged? These weren’t just questions about the show. They became questions about me.

Every interaction between Kogami and Makishima felt like a philosophical duel more than a physical one. I watched them not as enemies, but as two broken reflections of justice. Kogami believes in consequences, even if the system is flawed. Makishima believes in chaos as honesty, even if it means harm. I didn’t know who disturbed me more. Part of me wanted Kogami to win. Another part feared that Makishima was right. The fact that I couldn’t find comfort in either side is what made the story powerful. It didn’t give me a hero to follow blindly. It forced me to sit in the gray, with no exit.

Truth is, this show didn’t just tell a story. It asked something of me. It asked me to examine what kind of world I’m helping build, what kind of control I’ve agreed to without realizing it. Watching Psycho Pass was like remembering something I had forgotten on purpose. It didn’t entertain me the way most anime does. It disturbed me into awareness. And in the quiet after the final scene, I wasn’t left with closure. I was left with questions I’ll probably carry for years.

Hello anime lovers, I am excited to share with you all about Demon Slayer's new movie, which is Infinity Castle! I have been waiting for a long time to review this anime. If you have not watched the 4 seasons of Demon Slayer, then you won’t get it. I would suggest you finish watching all of the seasons, and then you can try watching this movie, because everything is connected and it's an important part of Demon Slayer.

Well, this anime is famous for its emotional backstories and fantastic animation. I won’t say that it has something unique, because these types of stories are common like hunters and demons fighting each other, saving the human race, and all. But Demon Slayer stands out the most because of its mind-blowing animation. It’s insane and will make you watch it addictively.

This is a glimpse of the trailer that I found on YouTube. If you haven’t watched it yet, then you should. I got goosebumps when I saw the trailer. All of my favourite characters are in this clip. I am very excited to see each one of their fights. The voice acting is so attractive, I completely fell in love. The sound effects and the expressions say it all. I’m sure they always have high budgets when Demon Slayer is animated. It is an undeniable masterpiece. I just can’t believe that Demon Slayer is now at its end. Seeing Zenitsu in a serious mood is what I was craving for a long time. Also, Akaza is back again, and it’s time for Tanjiro to take revenge.

I didn’t feel like I was watching a movie; it felt like I was living in their world. I cried a lot because of a surprising death. As I am not a manga reader, I was not aware of the situation. It broke my heart because it was unexpected. Also, the backstories of the villains are so well written. I felt like I hated them, but I also felt sympathy for them. It was complicated to decide on just one feeling. I found myself relating at some points, which made me even more emotional. The saddest part was when the movie ended. It didn’t feel good at all, because you are left with an emptiness, wanting to see more. When I scroll through my news feed, there are so many spoilers, I always try my best to avoid them.

Demon Slayer has enlightened my thoughts about the villains. They were once good people, but their surroundings made them the way they are now. I always learn different things from the stories, and I feel so bad for the characters that I end up crying. Muzan is barely seen in the movie, but when it was his turn, he looked so scary. I cannot imagine what will happen next. Everyone in the castle was fighting their own battles, and it looked very intense. Even though they were separated from one another, they still managed to handle the situation with bravery. Their unity made me feel even more overwhelmed. The battles are legendary, and every second of the movie is worth it.

I would ask everyone to watch this anime in the theatre only, even though it is released on illegal websites. Trust me watching it in the theatre is the best option.

Una de las cosas que puedo decir de esta película es que manejo un tono completamente diferente al de saga Snyder bajándole al estilo casi divino que le había puesto a Superman, habrá muchos que no empaticen con esta nueva versión de Superman pero en mi caso la verdad es que me encanta, nunca he sido muy fan del estilo de poner a superhéroes casi que como dioses de hecho me parece bastante aburrido, pero esta versión logra perfectamente poner un lado más vulnerable y humano Superman, dando una perspectiva fresca y renovada al mensaje de lo que significa ser un héroe.

One of the things I can say about this film is that it has a completely different tone to the Snyder saga, toning down the almost divine style he had given Superman. There will be many who don't empathize with this new version of Superman, but in my case, I really love it. I've never been a big fan of the style of portraying superheroes as almost gods; in fact, I find it quite boring. However, this version perfectly manages to show a more vulnerable and human side of Superman, giving a fresh and renewed perspective to the message of what it means to be a hero.

Ahora entremos un poco más en lo que es el guión, la verdad es que cumple con ser bueno no creo que sea extraordinario creo que el mensaje que buscan de que ser bueno es Punk rock Es como decir que es lo diferente ahora en la sociedad está muy bien logrado pero si hay puntos en la trama en los cuales la verdad van demasiado apresurado y esto puede llegar a ser bueno porque el ritmo de la película es constante pero tampoco terminas de empatizar con todos los personajes que rodean a la película, creo que es una película que para dar el punto de inicio al universo nuevo de DC es bastante bueno, pero si tiene unos fallos en el guión y hay un momento determinado con los padres de Superman que a muchas personas puede llegar a vivir en mi caso no me termino de gustar del todo pero entiende el porqué está en la trama y hace que Superman decida ser un héroe por su cuenta no por ningún mensaje ni por un significado o un destino especial él decide ser un héroe, esto le añado una capa de profundidad emocional el personaje pero también sí es cierto que daña un poco los orígenes.

I think it's a pretty good film to kick off the new DC universe, but it does have some flaws in the script, and there's a certain moment with Superman's parents that many people may relate to. In my case, I don't entirely like it, but I understand why it's in the plot and why it makes Superman decide to be a hero on his own, not because of any message or special meaning or destiny. He decides to be a hero. This adds a layer of emotional depth to the character, but it's also true that it damages the origins a little.

La paleta de colores es mucho más alegre a los que se nos tenía acostumbrado en el universo de snyder y no es que quiere hacer un punto de comparativa de cuál es mejor o cuál es peor porque en realidad creo que es cuestión de preferencia de cada persona pero evaluando lo que es esta película debo decir que tanto el villano como luz leen como Superman como todos los superhéroes de apoyo que aparecen terminan calzando perfectamente en lo construido, creo que es una de esas películas que te puede resultar una maravilla o te puede resultar simplemente entretenida en mi caso estoy en un punto intermedio de ambas partes pero no puedes decir que sea una mala película porque sí la verdad es que cumple con lo que tú esperarías iniciar un universo cinematográfico y lo hace con un buen pie, tiene bastante cosas que mejorar pero tampoco es un desastre de película.

The color palette is much more cheerful than what we were used to in Snyder's universe, and I don't want to make a comparison of which is better or worse because I actually think it's a matter of personal preference, but evaluating what this movie is, I must say that both the villain and Luz read like Superman, and all the supporting superheroes that appear end up fitting perfectly into the construct. I think it's one of those films that you might find wonderful or simply entertaining. In my case, I'm somewhere in between, but you can't say it's a bad film because, in truth, it does what you would expect from the start of a cinematic universe, and it does so on the right foot. It has a lot of room for improvement, but it's not a disaster of a film either.

Adam Sandler es de los actores que más disfruto ver porque entiende perfectamente el significado del género de comedia. Happy Gilmore es el perfecto ejemplo y es que esta segunda parte mantiene la esencia de su predecesora la cual fue estrenada hace casi 30 atrás, en 1996 para ser exactos. No se si hacía falta hacer una secuela de la historia de este personaje tan particular pero después de haberla visto agradezco a Sandler que la haya hecho, es un film que me recordó a esas películas de los noventas, principios de los 2000 en donde el humor era físico, literalmente; tonto, absurdo y exagerado.

Adam Sandler is one of the actors I enjoy watching the most because he perfectly understands the meaning of the comedy genre. Happy Gilmore is the perfect example, and this sequel maintains the essence of its predecessor, which was released almost 30 years ago, in 1996 to be exact. I don't know if a sequel to the story of this very particular character was necessary, but after seeing it, I thank Sandler for doing it. It's a film that reminded me of those movies from the 90s and early 2000s, where the humor was physical, literally; silly, absurd, and exaggerated.

Esta segunda entrega sigue a Happy (Adam Sandler), un tipo con un temperamento muy marcado y fuerte que ya está retirado de las canchas de golf. Casado y con 5 hijos ahora vive de otra manera. Un día ocurre algo en su vida que lo cambia todo y cae en las garras del alcohol y prácticamente en desgracia. Afortunadamente sus hijos, bastante peculiares ellos, no lo dejan caer, sobretodo su hija Vienna quien es la que mejor futuro tiene de esa familia. Al caer tan bajo Happy lo pierde casi todo, económicamente hablando, justamente cuando la oportunidad de la vida se le aparece a Vienna en su vida: una escuela de ballet en París.

Es acá donde Happy deberá participar en un torneo para "salvar" el golf y sobretodo poder cumplir el sueño de su hija. De las cosas que más me sorprendió de esta película es la inmensa cantidad de cameos y personalidades que aparecen, además del elenco original, hacen aparición otros personajes que hacen que el film sea una especie de batido de artistas de toda índole. Desde cantantes como Bad Bunny, Post Malone o Eminem hasta luchadores de lucha libre como Becky Lynch y Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Y es que hasta golfistas profesionales salen como lo es Rory McIlroy. Esto nos habla de la influencia tan grande que tiene Sandler en el cine.

La trama es todo lo que se imaginan, la vuelta a las canchas de Happy no puede ser algo normal, tienen que haber una serie de sucesos sin sentido y absurdos en el camino. Como les dije esta comedia se caracteriza por el golpe, la caída, el daño al cuerpo, los gestos, las interacciones exageradas; es muy visual pero sobretodo muy de contacto y esto era algo muy común hace unas cuantas décadas atrás. Lo que quiso hacer Sandler, supongo yo, es mantener viva la naturaleza de la película, esa que con golpes en la cabeza con las pelotas de golf podía hacer reir a la gente. Más allá de ser un gran film, que no lo es tanto, la intención es apelar a la nostalgia y que la gente se disfrute la vuelta a la vida de un personaje tan mítico.

The plot is everything you'd imagine: Happy's return to the golf course can't be a normal occurrence; there have to be a series of senseless and absurd events along the way. As I told you, this comedy is characterized by the blow, the fall, the bodily harm, the gestures, the exaggerated interactions; it's very visual, but above all, very contact-based, and this was very common a few decades ago. What Sandler wanted to do, I suppose, is keep the film's nature alive, the one where hitting people in the head with golf balls could make people laugh. Beyond being a great film, which it isn't, the intention is to appeal to nostalgia and for people to enjoy the return to life of such a mythical character.

Lo realmente cool de la película es ver que el elenco original junto con sus historias retornan. Eso para mi tiene un valor alto porque ayuda a conectar mejor con la trama. Hay muchos guiños a esa primera parte que hacen que de verdad se sienta como una continuación, cosa que muy pocas veces con las secuelas. Personalmente no me aburrí, creo que tienes que ver la película con ojos de cariño y no esperando ver algo digno de un Oscar. Hay que entender que todo es francamente irreal y vuelvo a repetir, absurdo. Julie Bowen, Margaret Qualley, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller, Haley Joel Osment y la familia real de Sandler, son algunas de las personas que hacen escena. Ya les digo que es un elenco importante el que tiene, por lo menos a nivel de nombres.

The really cool thing about the film is seeing the original cast return, along with their stories. That, for me, is incredibly valuable because it helps connect better with the plot. There are many nods to the first installment that make it truly feel like a continuation, something that seldom happens with sequels. Personally, I wasn't bored. I think you have to watch the film with fond eyes and not expect to see something worthy of an Oscar. You have to understand that everything is frankly unreal and, I repeat, absurd. Julie Bowen, Margaret Qualley, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller, Haley Joel Osment, and Sandler's real family are some of the people who make the scene. As I'm telling you, it's a strong cast, at least in terms of names.

Yo le doy un 7/10. Creo que está buena, hace reír, es nostálgica, tiene ese humor que tanto se está perdiendo hoy en día; si creciste con viendo a Sandler y entiendes su visión de comedia, este film es para ti. Está en Netflix y claramente la recomiendo mucho. Les dejo el tráiler por acá.

I give it a 7/10. I think it's good, it makes you laugh, it's nostalgic, and it has that humor that's so often lost these days. If you grew up watching Sandler and understand his vision of comedy, this film is for you. It's on Netflix, and I definitely recommend it. I'll leave the trailer here.

Series Review ~ Trigger: A Gripping South Korean Thriller That Hits Hard
For a long time, I had been waiting for a series called Trigger, which is a South Korean series. When I saw its trailer, I found it very interesting.

Finally, I watched and completed this series. I thought I would finish it easily since it only had six episodes, but there are actually 10 episodes. The longest episode is around 1 hour and 5 minutes, and the episodes vary in length. Some are 37 minutes, some 45 minutes, some 40 minutes. But the maximum length is 1 hour and 5 minutes. So, at normal speed, it will take you about eight and a half hours to complete it.

Now, let’s talk about the basic story of this series.

Basic Storyline

The series shows a story set in South Korea. If you don’t know, let me tell you that guns are not allowed there. It’s very rare for people to have guns. The government doesn’t permit it. Even the police avoid carrying guns because crime is almost nonexistent there.

But what if, in such a country, dangerous guns—like automatic machine guns, AK-47s, American-made guns, or German-made guns—start reaching people? What would they do? That’s what you’ll find out in this series. The villain in this series seeks out people who are extremely angry—those who are frustrated with the administration, judges, police, neighbors, or others and can’t do anything about it. He sends guns to such people, and they start eliminating others.

Now, you have to see where these guns are coming from, who they will target, and who will do the killing. These are the things shown in the series. Let me praise this series upfront—I’ve never seen a series like this before. The way things are portrayed will leave you confused about whose side to take: the villain’s or the hero’s? Because the villain will always seem right compared to the hero. Even when the hero tries to deliver justice or stop the villain, you’ll feel angry.

My Thoughts

If I explain the context, think about it—how many people in our country are frustrated? Do they get justice? Does the police listen to anyone? Do hospitals care about anyone? You’ll find corruption everywhere. People are troubled everywhere. Now imagine if automatic machine guns reached such people who are fed up with their lives—how many would they kill? You’ll see a similar story in this series.

If this series had been made in India with Indian actors, I think it could have inspired many people. But well, that won’t happen because most people here already have guns. Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Haryana—I know for sure that many people in these three places have multiple guns. Most households have guns. I’ve seen it with my own eyes, and the police know it well too. You probably know it as well.

I remember an incident related to this. About three or four years ago, someone told me that a group of people beat up a boy badly. The boy and his family went to the police to file a complaint. Later, they were threatened. So, they went to the police station to withdraw the complaint, and the 16 people who had beaten him were called there. All 16 of them came armed with guns. They brought guns inside the police station, and the police did nothing. So, I don’t think it would make much of a difference here.

But the things shown in this series will deeply resonate with the common person. Anyone who has ever been fed up with powerful people or the system will relate to it a lot. They’ll think, “If only I could get a gun and take down those people.” I’m not talking about myself; I’m talking about those who are oppressed.

The concept of this series is so relatable that everyone will connect with it. Once you watch the first episode, you’ll be completely hooked. Around the seventh episode, you might feel like there’s nothing left in the series, but no, there’s still a lot more. It keeps you engaged until the end, and at the end, it gives you a hint that Season Two is coming.

I really liked the concept of this series. Recently, a series called Mercy for None came out, but this one is far ahead of it. All the actors’ performances are outstanding, especially those who use guns. The series portrays human psychology very well.

What do you think—why would someone want to shoot another person? Because that person tormented them. Now, they don’t just want to shoot them; they want to see their face when they beg for mercy, when they plead for their life, because it satisfies their ego. These aspects are shown thoughtfully. No one directly kills someone. When a gun is pointed, and the person grovels, that moment is depicted very well. Watching it, you’ll feel satisfied too. Even if you have no enmity with those people, you’ll feel more satisfied than the person doing the killing.

Final Verdict

This series is very well-written and directed. The performances, production—everything in this series is top-notch. If the concept sounds intriguing to you, you should definitely watch it. Just watch the first episode, and you’ll end up completing the entire series. It’s available on Netflix in Hindi and multiple other languages. I would rate this series 8/10.

There are so many things we take for granted.... Amongst them are those simple things that bring joy and happiness into our lives. The Little Forest is all about those things that we should appreciate.

Directed by Yim Soon-rye, this is a Korean movie that is gentle, contemplative, nourishing, just like a warm bowl of soup on a rainy day.

Plot Summary;

Hye-won, a girl in her twenties is portrayed by Kim Tae-ri who out of frustration, decides to leave her life in Seoul and return to her family home in the countryside. She has gone through failure in her teaching exam and an ugly breakup.

She sought for a slower pace of life, leaving behind the fast pace life in Seoul.

She went back to the countryside, a small, comfortable, a place that was home until her mother disappeared without a trace or a letter, one winter.

Though it's a remote village nearly cut-off from the world, she had good memories of simple things like farming and cooking.

She begins to plant, harvest, and cook her meals using fresh, seasonal foods, using the recipes her mother had once taught her. She also reestablished contact with two of her childhood friends, Jae-ha, played by (Ryu Jun-yeol), an easy-going young man who had opted out of the corporate life for the simple life of farming and Eun-sook, portrayed by (Jin Ki-joo), a tough and happy childhood friend who remained in the village but kept dreaming of escaping from it all, one day.

Through the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, Hye-won appreciates the beauty of a simple life, with cooking acting as a form of therapy. She is slowing down, charting a new course and escaping a life not determined by society.

Watching this movie, with its slow, steady pulse of a rural lifestyle made me ask about what one really needs to be happy and content? The answer is simplicity.

The visuals, so so beautiful. A countryside filled with Nature, peaceful, serene, tranquil and enjoying all it has to offer.

Of course the sound were soft, organic sounds - rain, birds, fire crackling, soft breeze, as against the noise and screams of an urban lifestyle.

Performances;

Kim Tae-ri gives a powerful performance, I could feel the peace within her as she evolves from the jaded girl, to the more confident. Ryu Jun-yeol brings a nice, charming, and grounding presence.

I am rating this movie (4.5/5)

It’s a gentle reminder that meaning in life can be found in the simplest of things and in the simplest of places.

Today I'm here to talk to you about a movie that I loved. Sometimes I check out what Netflix has to offer, and if something catches my attention, I don't think twice. That's how I found this beautiful animated movie. Although at first I thought it was a version of Thumbelina, I later realized it wasn't. It was a different story, even one with a lot of depth.

Hoy vengo a hablarles de una película que me encantó, algunas veces me pongo a revisar que tiene Netflix para ofrecer y si algo llama mi atención no lo pienso dos veces, fue así como encontré esta preciosa película animada, y aunque al principio creí que era una versión de pulgarcita luego me di cuenta que no era así, se trataba de una historia diferente e incluso con mucha profundidad.

Arriety is a very tiny young girl, about the size of a human finger, she and her family live between the floorboards of an ordinary house, but they live hidden because they do not want big people (who are giants to her and her parents) to detect their presence, so when they need supplies Arriety goes to look for them at night with her father, overcoming obstacles. However, Shō, a very lonely boy who deals with a heart disease, arrives at that house and suddenly, by chance, he discovered Arriety, but despite his attempts to gain her trust, she is elusive and reluctant to trust him, she does not really trust any human due to her mother's constant warnings.

Arriety es una jovencita muy diminuta, como del tamaño de un dedo humano, ella y su familia viven entre las tablas del suelo de una casa común y corriente, pero viven escondidos porque no quieren que las personas grandes (que son gigantes para ella y sus padres) detecten su presencia, así que cuando necesitan suministros Arriety va a buscarlos durante la noche junto con su padre, sorteando obstáculos. Sin embargo a esa casa llega Shō, un niño muy solitario que lidia con una enfermedad del corazón y de pronto, por casualidad descubrió a Arriety, pero a pesar de sus intentos por ganarse su confianza, ella se muestra esquiva y reacia a confiar en él, en realidad no confía en ningún humano debido a las constantes advertencias de su madre.

After finishing watching the movie I was left with a reflection in my head, prejudices can be fostered by people who have had bad experiences in life (like Arriety's mother) and sometimes these prejudices can be reinforced by bad behavior (like the woman who locked Arriety's mother in a jar), but that doesn't mean we should live in fear of the world, because it is full of bad things and dangers but also good and enriching things, like the friendship that later arose between Shō and Arriety, he only wanted her friendship, not to feel alone, and his friendship with Arriety gave him the strength he needed to face his illness, and it is proven that when someone is determined to live they have a greater chance of coming out on top of any vicissitude.

Luego de terminar de ver la película me quedé con una reflexión en mi cabeza, los prejuicios pueden ser fomentados por personas que han tenido malas experiencias en la vida (como la madre de Arriety) y a veces estos prejuicios pueden ser reforzados por malas conductas (como la mujer que encerró a la mamá de Arriety en un frasco), pero no por ello debemos vivir con miedo del mundo, porque este está lleno de cosas malas y peligros pero también de cosas buenas y enriquecedoras, como la amistad que después surgió entre Shō y Arriety, él solo quería su amistad, no sentirse solo, y su amistad con Arriety le dio las fuerzas que necesitaba para afrontar su enfermedad, y está comprobado que cuando alguien está determinado a vivir tiene una mayor probabilidad de salir airoso de cualquier vicisitud.

Maybe all the difficulties the tiny characters have in acquiring what they need represent the difficulties we have in real life in achieving what we want, but at the same time I think it could refer to the human capacity to adapt to different and even dangerous environments. In a way, this film also reminded me of the story of Anne Frank and her family, when they all had to live secluded in an annex and be as quiet as possible during the day so that no one would notice them. But in the end, just like in this film, they are all discovered, and to top it all off, they are denounced to the Nazis. So, although I regret that Anne Frank and her family had to go somewhere else, I am glad that they had a more encouraging ending than the Frank family.

A lo mejor todas las dificultades que tienen los personajes diminutos para adquirir lo que necesitan representa las dificultades que tenemos en la vida real para lograr lo que queremos obtener, pero al mismo tiempo pienso que se puede referir a la capacidad de adaptación que tiene el ser humano a entornos diferentes e incluso peligrosos. De cierta forma esta película también me recordó a la historia de Ana Frank y su familia, cuando todos tenían que vivir recluidos en un anexo y ser lo más silenciosos posibles durante el día para que nadie pudiera notar su presencia, pero al final, al igual que en esta película, todos son descubiertos, y para colmo fueron denunciados ante los Nazis, así que, aunque lamento que Arriety y su familia hayan tenido que marcharse a otro lugar, me alegra que hayan tenido un final más alentador que la familia Frank.

Hemos llegado al final de esta reseña pero en conclusión puedo decirles que me gustó mucho esta película, creo que es apta para toda la familia, tiene lindos mensajes para reflexionar y además estéticamente está preciosa.

Un gusto, queridos amigos de @TheAnimeRealm saludos a todos, en esta oportunidad vengo a darles mi opinión de un anime entretenido, cómico y a su vez con toques románticos, se trata de Giji Harem es un anime basado en la historia de un joven de segundo año de secundaria llamado Eiji quien siempre ha soñado con tener su propio harem y disfrutar de chicas que lo quieran y le hagan sentir bien.

Pero un día mientras se enfoca en la actuación en el club de teatro se consigue a Rin, quien a primera vista queda encantada con él, y se entera que Eiji quien crear su propio harem, por lo que ella decide utilizar sus toques de actuación y hacer su propio harem para él, ¿Qué si suena loco? Jeje ps la jovencita actuaba para Eiji de diferentes maneras, siendo una chica lanzada, otra penosa, una cariñosa, lo que en el momento quisiera ver, y así poco a poco crearle su propio harem.

Realmente parece algo difícil ya que un harem se compone de varias personas, pero como apenas son dos jovencitos de secundaria y bueno Eiji tampoco es que es popular con las chicas, en definitiva Rin le hará posible cumplir ese sueño y apoyarlo en lo que pueda para hacerlo feliz, pero no todo será enfocado en ello ya que entre los estudios y participar en el club de teatro comenzaran a desenvolverse y entender la dificultad que puede llevar actuar pero con dedicación y estudios lo van mejorando y haciendo más entretenido su manera de expresar las emociones y cumplir su sueño de entrar en la industria de la actuación.

Rin por otro lado va mejorando como actriz, en cada capítulo se ve una faceta diferente de ella, así como la calidad que le pone para crear sentimientos reales y que todos disfruten viendo lo que hace, en compañía de sus amigos ira teniendo sus eventos escolares por lo que el tiempo con Eiji será mayor y les permitirá conocerse más e ir superando sus miedos a enfocarse en esta rama artística, para así darse la oportunidad de comenzar una nueva faceta juntos.

Es un anime que cuenta con su primera temporada de 12 capítulos, la animación es muy linda, los personajes se desenvuelven de una manera en que van evolucionando capitulo tras capitulo, así como la calidad de ello, la historia te muestra que no se necesitas varias mujeres para hacerte feliz, puedes tener una que te de varias razones para lograr alegrarte, no solo cumpliendo tus anhelos, sino luchando juntos por sus sueños a pesar que sean apenas unos jovencitos, es una historia en el que la actuación forma parte de ella y te enseña diferentes maneras en el que esta carrera te puede ayudar no solo para desenvolverte en el ámbito profesional sino también para enamorar a la persona que quieres.
