Ryan Coogler is one of today's most consistent filmmakers, and, along with others like Jordan Peele, is one of the main figures responsible for the best representations of Black culture on the scene today. Films like Black Panther and Creed proved that it was possible to deliver social criticism for the masses without falling into pretentiousness, embracing their African roots and blending them into the modern world.
Sinners not only feels like an organic continuation of his filmography, but it's also one of the most interesting and entertaining films I've seen in a long time, using a seemingly familiar trope and taking it to unique heights.
Starring Michael B. Jordan, Jack O'Connell, and Hailey Stanfield, Sinners immerses us in 1930s America, as we follow a couple of twins who have returned to their hometown with the goal of opening a casino for their people, just as they've seen it in the big cities.
However, they will eventually discover that their town hides an evil that seeks to ruin their plans.
Like Robert Eggers' recently released Nosferatu, Sinners is more focused on being a faithful representation of everything vampires historically represented, rather than a deconstruction of the concept. And, although it features a brilliant display of digital and practical special effects, it also takes its time introducing its characters, their internal conflicts, and, in general, the rules that will govern this universe.
Coogler uses all of this to show us a brilliant allegory of racial segregation, ranging from the film's most obvious elements (like the almost omnipresent presence of the KKK) to more subtle ones, such as the figure of an Irish man as the main antagonist, or the brilliant performance of the beautiful Hailey Stanfield.
As if that weren't enough, Sinners features one of the brilliant sequences that, using surreal elements, cleverly blends music with the film's narrative, something that is very present from beginning to end and alone justifies giving the film a try.
It's nice to see the use of traditional norms when approaching vampires in any form of media (having to be "invited" into a house to enter, the sun and wooden stakes being capable of destroying them, etc.). And, overall, it's a brilliant film.
Even within the tragically truncated filmography of Bruce Lee, a handful of his works stand out not merely as vehicles for his martial prowess but as expressions of his artistic vision. Among these, The Way of the Dragon (1972) emerges as the most authentically his film. This action-comedy, his penultimate completed project and the final one released during his lifetime, marks Lee’s debut as director, screenwriter, and producer—a trifecta of roles that underscores his creative ambition. Yet this very authenticity, while granting the film a unique vitality, also exposes its unevenness. The Way of the Dragon is a deeply personal work that oscillates between brilliance and naivety, a testament to Lee’s genius and a reminder of the limits of his inexperience behind the camera.
The plot, by design, is disarmingly straightforward. Set in Rome, it follows Cheng Ching-hua (Nora Miao), a young woman managing a family restaurant with her uncle Wang (Huang Tsun-hing). Their peaceful existence is shattered by local gangsters, led by the predatory boss (Jon Benn), who seeks to intimidate them into selling their property. Cheng’s plea for help to her Hong Kong relatives results in the arrival of Tang Lung (Lee), a stoic martial arts savant dispatched to protect the business. Tang’s initial culture shock—reacting to Rome’s eccentricities with deadpan bewilderment—gives way to a series of escalating confrontations. He trains the staff in self-defence and dismantles the gang’s operations, prompting the villain to hire two lethal specialists: the Japanese karateka (Hwang In-shik) and the American karate champion Colt (Chuck Norris). This setup, though formulaic, serves as a scaffold for Lee’s deeper exploration of cultural identity and physical philosophy.
Lee’s transition from performer to auteur is both inspiring and uneven. Determined to master his new role, he devoured directing manuals and collaborated with producer Raymond Chow, the architect of Golden Harvest’s success. Lee choreographed the fight sequences, supervised dubbing, and wrote the script—a Herculean workload that inevitably diluted his focus. His writing, while intentionally lighter in tone thanFist of Fury (1972), struggles to balance comedy and drama. The narrative’s tonal shifts—veering from slapstick to brutality—reflect a lack of editorial discipline, yet Lee’s refusal to adhere to genre conventions reveals his creative restlessness. This duality—visionary ambition clashing with rookie missteps—defines the film’s character.
The opening third, devoid of martial spectacle, is a showcase for Lee’s underrated comedic timing. As Tang Lung, he embodies the “fish out of water” archetype with charm, dealing with Rome’s quirks—from a long wait at the airport to a hilariously awkward encounter with an Italian prostitute (Malisa Longo, whose brief nudity nods to the era’s exploitation demands). These scenes, steeped in cultural juxtaposition, highlight Lee’s ability to humanise his stoic persona. The humour, though broad, feels organic, offering a refreshing contrast to the grimness of his earlier films. The film’s final act, however, plunges into uncharacteristic darkness. A sudden betrayal by Uncle Wang—a reprise of Huang Tsun-hing’s duplicitous role in Fist of Fury—ignites a bloodbath that feels tonally jarring. Though the body count remains modest by Lee’s standards, the emotional brutality of the scene—literal backstabbing of Cheng’s allies—casts a pall over the victory. Tang Lung’s triumph over the gangsters, culminating in a duel with Colt, is overshadowed by the film’s sour denouement. Where The Way of the Dragon ascends to greatness is in its climactic showdown at the Colosseum—a sequence that transcends its narrative flaws. Filmed guerrilla-style on location, the duel between Tang Lung and Colt (Norris, then an up-and-coming fighter) is a symphony of contrasting styles: Lee’s jeet kune do against Norris’s karate precision. It solidified Norris’s Hollywood prospects and immortalised the real-life friendship between the two legends, whose chemistry elevates the confrontation from spectacle to art.
Despite its imperfections, The Way of the Dragon remains a landmark achievement. Produced on a shoestring budget, it was the first major Hong Kong film shot in Europe, breaking geographical and cultural barriers for the industry. The construction of the world is quite sad, at all times this section is used to show all kinds of depressing places which causes its context to transmit a sense of discomfort to the viewer by showing desolate scenarios plagued by poverty and injustice, something that is a complete success because it seeks precisely to convey that feeling.

The plot seeks and manages to represent the lack of scruples that exists in the arms trafficking business, from the very beginning, the entire process involved in illicit sales is explored, as well as all the necessary tricks to evade the law. Narratively it is fine, the premise of the film is to show the entire process of trafficking until the moment they are used focusing on the horrific evil of those who resort to the services of a merchant of death, however, despite all this it still has moments where it becomes tedious to watch since throughout its more than 2 hours it has quite boring segments and without much interest to see.
La trama busca y consigue representar la falta de escrúpulos que existe en el negocio del tráfico de armas, desde el vamos, se explora todo el proceso que conlleva la venta ilícita, así como todas las artimañas necesarias para poder evadir la ley. Narrativamente está bien, la premisa de la cinta consta en mostrar todo el proceso del tráfico hasta el momento en que se utilizan enfocando la maldad espantosa de aquellos que recurren a los servicios de un mercader de la muerte, no obstante, pese a todo ello sigue teniendo momentos en dónde se hace tediosa de ver puesto que a lo largo de sus más de 2 horas tiene segmentos bastante aburridos y sin mucho interesante que ver.

The only character that matters is the protagonist, he stands out for his lack of empathy and scruples because at no time does he consider all the consequences and deaths that his business produces, something that makes him stand out is his distorted thinking in which he thinks he is doing the right thing, something that simply consolidates him as someone nefarious and that perfectly represents what it means to be an arms dealer, The rest of the characters only fulfill the function of being a filler and giving rise to an internal conflict of the protagonist to change, it is not something super complex but it is well within what it goes.
El único personaje que importa es el protagonista, el mismo destaca por su falta de empatía y escrúpulos debido a que en ningún momento considera todas las consecuencias y muertes que produce su negocio, algo que lo hace destacar es su pensamiento distorsionado en el cual piensa que está haciendo lo correcto, algo que sencillamente lo consolida como alguien nefasto y que representa perfectamente lo que significa ser un traficante de armas, el resto de personajes únicamente cumplen con la función de ser un relleno y de dar pie a un conflicto interno del protagonista para cambiar, no es algo supercomplejo pero está bien dentro de lo que cabe.

It is for all of the above that it deserves 3 stars out of 7, a film that leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth due to how realistic it is.

Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3 estrellas de 7, una cinta que te deja con un amargo sabor de boca debido a lo realista que resulta.

This is something that I have seen in many movies in recent weeks and it is truly amazing how the director manages to put together all film and thus involve issues of great importance today, which not everyone thinks, as it can lose out and even more so when it comes to high-level police, therefore once again we will see a production loaded with lots of action, suspense and Netflix always betting big and thus achieve that this film is trending.
This is known as Rebel Ridge, with only a few months of its premiere and have received a good impact on viewers for being something that has to be very attentive and will always be present in real life as in the movies, so we will see the life of a retired marine, who left everything for his country and now he has to face another side of that world and that is the corruption of the local police, being something that no one expects and all for money, which allows to discover each clue and thus to bring the truth on the table and thus to put an end to the situation and this is where we wonder can this marine end it all? , Will he be able to regain trust? Y muchas otras cosas que pasarán allí.

Es una entrega que tiene un buen ritmo y permite ir disfrutando de mucha acción, ya siempre estarán presente los enfrentamientos, disparos y lo más importante poder buscar personas en la que confiar para así poder ir avanzando y este marine gracias a su conocimiento permite armar dicha estrategia y todo se vuelve mucho más interesante en la película, ya que sabe que la policía no es nada fácil ganarle. Otras de las cosas que me gusto y la razón de todo eso es poder mantener a salvo a la familia y siempre estarán presente cada uno de esos valores, saber que ellos es lo más importante en esta vida y de alguna manera uno siempre hará todo lo posible para que así todos estén a salvos ante un mundo donde el dinero, la corrupción y aprovecharse de los más fáciles de una manera legal.

Cada una de las escenas son muy buenas y todo se desarrolla prácticamente en un pueblo donde la cantidad de personas son muy pocas y todo se maneja mediante el dinero y la mentira y es aquí donde la película resalta en apostar en colocar a un marine con experiencia y puede derrotar todo y que cada uno de esos policías que lo hacen bien si trabajo caigan. Por ende el actor principal es muy bueno y desde el primer instante que lo tratan mal se da cuenta de que las apariencias engañan y por eso se va moviendo muy bien, sus habilidades y capacidades lo llevan a luchas hasta el final, además logra hacer un buen dúo con una compañera quien le da seguridad y ambos poder derrotar toda esa situación lo más rápido posible.

Hello movie buff friends, the proposal that I bring you today is for horror lovers. I am a fan of this genre so, as always, I recommend this movie. I want to talk to you a little and give you a brief summary so you know what it's about.
Beth is a woman who has just lost her husband Owen to suicide. After his loss, she is left alone in her house by the lake, where she begins to experience strange disturbing phenomena, discovering that Owen was leading a secret life. Throughout the film, a series of dark secrets about her husband and her life before his death come to light. He finds diaries along with recordings where he was involved in disturbing practices. As she investigates further, she realizes that her husband had been involved in some sort of dark ritual and that her own life could be in danger. She finds plans for a mirror house and photos of women who look like her, leading her to suspect that Owen had a dark side. She discovers that he built a mirror house to deceive a supernatural entity that was trying to take it away.
When the trick stops working, Owen commits suicide to protect her, but the entity tries to convince Beth to take her own life as well, taking her to the lake with a gun, just like Owen.
Beth almost relents, but ultimately chooses to live and puts down the gun, returning to reality with the help of her friend Claire.
The film ends ambiguously: Beth survives, but the presence of "Nothing" continues to haunt her, symbolizing that her struggle with grief and inner darkness continues.
The film plays with the idea of the perception of reality and madness, as Beth battles her own inner demons while facing supernatural manifestations in her home. The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense and oppressive, leading to a shocking climax that reveals disturbing truths about the nature of love, betrayal and grief.

Beth, es una mujer que acaba de perder a su esposo Owen por suicidio, luego de su pérdida, ésta se queda sola en su casa junto al lago, donde comienza a experimentar extraños fenómenos perturbadores descubriendo que Owen llevaba una vida secreta, a lo largo de la película, sale a la luz una serie de secretos oscuros sobre su esposo y su vida antes de su muerte. Encuentra diarios junto a grabaciones que donde estaba involucrado en prácticas inquietantes. A medida que investiga más, se da cuenta de que su esposo había estado involucrado en una especie de ritual oscuro y que su propia vida podría estar en peligro. Hello, amazing people of the CineTV community, there is something about movies that are good that makes them very hard to forget. I do miss the days when movies about the older times were done, where people used swords and shields to fight battles. The training and the involvement of gods in the lives of mortals. I really wanted to watch something of action where guns are not used, but people fight with their hands, body, and sword, and win the fight with their intellect. Well, there are movies like that; for example, "300," but one movie that caught my attention, which hasn't left my mind since, is a movie that was released in 2004, titled "Troy."

I'm going to be honest; I watched Troy a while back, and most of the details are now mixing up with some other great movies that have to do with swords, but I do remember it being an epic film, and I am going to tell you about the amazing storyline. The movie is a war movie, and the protagonist's name is "Achilles."
From what I remember, the storyline of Troy follows the legendary Trojan War, a ten-year conflict between the city-states of Troy and Greece. The story is about the Prince Paris of Troy, who falls in love with the king's wife, "Helen," the queen of Sparta, and he had the guts to take her back to Troy. This sparks a massive Greek army, led by King Agamemnon, to lay siege to Troy and reclaim Helen.
Meanwhile, there was a great warrior in the army of the Greek, "Achilles." He was a man who seek battle and believed he could never lose any fight, driven by a desire for glory and immortality. However, Achilles' pride and anger often put him at odds with Agamemnon and other Greek leaders. Achilles was a great fighter, and some believed his father would have been one of the Greek gods.
One of the epic fight scenes was between Achilles and Hector. The battlefield was where both cities had gathered their men to fight just because of a lady.
One thing I came to understand about this movie is that love can start a war and can also end it. If I remember right, Achilles died in the ending of the movie, and we all waited for a second part of this movie, and to date, they haven't given us anything. It was a miracle we got the second part of 300, but with the way things are going, I doubt there will be a second part of it.
Troy is an amazing film, and I believe no matter how much you don't like sitting for a long time to watch movie, I can assure you that you wouldn't stand up once while watching Troy. I would rate it a 9/10. That's how good the film is.
The other day I didn't know what to watch I wanted something like this that was quiet and didn't make me think too much and I saw a movie directed by Laura Chinn called Suncoast it's basically her personal story turned into a movie, it wasn't quiet at all because it made me think about life and well it made me cry too. A teenager named Doris has to deal with her brother who is dying of brain cancer while trying to have a normal life in high school, all this happens in early 2000 in Florida, during the Terry Schiavo case which was super controversial at the time, where there were protests outside the place where they had both Doris' brother and Terry, this personal tragedy is mixed with the real events. Playing Doris is Nico Parker, this is a young girl who has been invisible all her life because all her mom's attention is focused on her sick brother and when she does manage to make friends and have a normal social life, she feels guilty for not being with her family. Laura Linney plays the mom who is so consumed with grief and despair over losing her son that she practically forgets that she has another daughter who also needs attention, and while at times her character is super frustrating, you totally understand why she acts this way. Woody Harrelson shows up as an activist protesting outside the boarding school and makes a somewhat weird but real friendship with Doris, he's also dealing with his own traumas because he lost his wife, so there's this connection between two people who are going through death in completely different ways.
El otro día no sabía que ver quería algo así que fuera tranquilo y no me hiciera pensar mucho y vi una película dirigida por Laura Chinn que se llama Suncoast es básicamente su historia personal convertida en cine, no fue nada tranquila porque me hizo pensar sobre la vida y pues me hizo llorar también. Una adolescente llamada Doris tiene que lidiar con su hermano que está muriendo de cáncer cerebral mientras trata de tener una vida normal en el liceo, todo esto pasa a principios del 2000 en Florida, durante el caso de Terry Schiavo que fue súper controversial en esa época, donde había protestas afuera del lugar donde tenían tanto al hermano de Doris como a Terry, se mezcla esta tragedia personal con los eventos reales. La que hace de Doris es Nico Parker, esta es una joven que ha sido invisible toda su vida porque toda la atención de su mamá está enfocada en su hermano enfermo y cuando consigue hacer amigos y tener una vida social normal, se siente culpable por no estar con su familia. Laura Linney interpreta a la mamá que está tan consumida por el dolor y la desesperación de perder a su hijo que prácticamente se olvida de que tiene otra hija que también necesita atención, y aunque a veces su personaje es súper frustrante, entiendes perfectamente por qué actúa así. Woody Harrelson aparece como un activista que protesta afuera del internado y hace una amistad algo rara pero real con Doris, él también está lidiando con sus propios traumas porque perdió a su esposa, entonces hay esta conexión entre dos personas que están pasando la muerte de maneras completamente diferentes.
What I liked most about this movie is that it shows the theme of grief in a way that is not dramatic or trying to manipulate, everyone is sad in a different way and the movie doesn't tell you what is the right way to do it, it just shows you the consequences of each decision. Doris wants to be a normal teenager, go to parties, have a boyfriend, go to prom but at the same time she feels bad for not wanting to be with her brother who is dying and that guilt is something that feels super real. I really liked Nico Parker's performance here, plus I read online that Laura Chinn always had her in mind for the role since she wrote the script, Doris' friends at school are also well developed, at first you think they are going to be the typical mean rich kids who only use her to party at their house, but it turns out they are good friends who support her when she needs it most, which is not common in these movies since they always cast the popular friends as bad guys. The film also touches on issues of religion and medical ethics through the case of Terry Schiavo, but does so in a gentle way showing different points of view on what it means to be alive and when it is appropriate to let someone go, Woody Harrelson is on the side of keeping Terry alive while Doris thinks she is long gone.
Lo que más me gustó de esta película es que muestra el tema del duelo de una forma que no es dramática ni trata de manipular, cada uno está triste de una forma distinta y la película no te dice cuál es la manera correcta de hacerlo, simplemente te muestra las consecuencias de cada decisión. Doris quiere ser una adolescente normal, ir a fiestas, tener novio, ir a la graduación pero al mismo tiempo se siente mal por no querer estar con su hermano que se está muriendo y esa culpa es algo que se siente súper real. Me gustó mucho la actuación de Nico Parker aquí, además leí en internet que Laura Chinn siempre la tuvo en mente para el papel desde que escribió el guión, los amigos de Doris en la escuela también están bien desarrollados, al principio piensas que van a ser los típicos niños ricos malvados que solo la usan para hacer fiestas en su casa, pero resulta que son buenos amigos que la apoyan cuando más lo necesita, lo cual no es común en estas películas ya que siempre ponen como malos a los amigos populares. La película también toca temas de religión y ética médica a través del caso de Terry Schiavo, pero lo hace de una manera suave mostrando diferentes puntos de vista sobre qué significa estar vivo y cuándo es apropiado dejar ir a alguien, Woody Harrelson está del lado de mantener a Terry viva mientras que Doris piensa que ya se fue hace mucho tiempo.
I thought Laura Chinn's direction was very good for a first time director, she doesn't try to do anything too elaborate she just tells the story in an honest and straightforward way, which works perfectly for this kind of subject matter which is quite intimate. One of the things that struck me was when Doris finally goes to the prom after her mom has lied to her before about her brother dying, then when she gets the actual call during the prom, she hesitates whether or not to go because she doesn't trust her mom anymore, and when she finally decides to go her brother had already died, I couldn't hold back the urge to cry at that part where she talks to her dead brother.
Me pareció que la dirección de Laura Chinn es muy buena para ser su primera vez, no trata de hacer nada muy elaborado solo cuenta la historia de manera honesta y directa, lo cual funciona perfectamente para este tipo de temas que son bastante íntimos. Una de las cosas que me impacto fue cuando Doris finalmente va al baile de graduación después de que su mamá le ha mentido antes sobre que su hermano se está muriendo, entonces cuando recibe la llamada real durante el baile, duda si ir o no porque ya no confía en su madre, y cuando finalmente decide ir su hermano ya había muerto, no pude aguantar las ganas de llorar en esa parte donde ella le habla a su hermano muerto.
The only thing I would have liked to see more of is the relationship between Doris and Woody Harrelson because their chemistry is very good and he is like that father figure she needs but he is not on screen much for this to deepen. Also some of the scenes with school friends are ordinary, although that's probably what Laura Chinn's real life experience was like as a teenager and I don't think it works that well for the movie. One thing I did like is that the movie doesn't try to romanticize illness or death, Doris' brother doesn't have magical moments of lucidity or deep conversations before he dies he is simply there in a vegetative state and this is what makes the story authentic because this is how real life works not like in Hollywood movies where there is always a perfect moment to say goodbye.
Lo único que me hubiera gustado ver más es la relación entre Doris y Woody Harrelson porque su química es muy buena y él es como esa figura paterna que ella necesita pero no sale mucho en la pantalla como para que esto se profundice. También algunas de las escenas con los amigos de la escuela son comunes, aunque probablemente así fue la experiencia real de Laura Chinn cuando era adolescente y no me parece qyue funcione tan bien para la película. Algo que si me gustó es que la película no trata de romantizar la enfermedad o la muerte, el hermano de Doris no tiene momentos mágicos de lucidez o conversaciones profundas antes de morir simplemente está ahí en un estado vegetativo y esto es lo que hace que la historia sea auténtica porque así es como funciona la vida real no como en las películas de Hollywood donde siempre hay un momento perfecto para despedirse.
For me Suncoast is a movie that made me cry but also made me feel hope and reminded me that life is full of difficult moments but also small joys that make it worth moving on. Nico Parker is an actress to keep an eye on because she has an impressive natural talent and Laura Chinn proved that she can direct with sensitivity and honesty without falling into cheap sentimentality. Although the subject matter is heavy it is not depressing and there is always the hope that the characters will find a way to move forward. My score is 7.5/10 because the performances and direction are good, the story is real and it also touches on important themes about life, death and how families deal with difficult situations.
Para mí Suncoast es una película que me hizo llorar pero también me hizo sentir esperanza y me recordó que la vida está llena de momentos difíciles pero también de pequeñas alegrías que hacen que valga la pena seguir adelante. Nico Parker es una actriz a la que hay que seguirle la pista porque tiene un talento natural impresionante y Laura Chinn demostró que puede dirigir con sensibilidad y honestidad sin caer en sentimentalismo barato. Aunque el tema es pesado no es deprimente y siempre está la esperanza de que los personajes van a encontrar la manera de salir adelante. Mi puntuación es 7.5/10 porque las actuaciones y la dirección son buenas, la historia es real y además toca temas importantes sobre la vida, la muerte y cómo las familias lidian con situaciones difíciles.

I didn’t know then that this movie would leave me breathless.
At first, it seems simple. A teenage boy in Tokyo, Taki, and a girl in a rural mountain town, Mitsuha, start mysteriously swapping bodies. It happens randomly. No explanation. One minute they’re living their own lives, and the next, they wake up as each other. Cue chaos. The movie depicts the story of high school students Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu, who suddenly begin to swap bodies despite having never met, unleashing chaos on each other's lives. I learnt that film was inspired by the frequency of natural disasters in Japan.
I laughed. A lot. Watching Mitsuha navigate the noise of Tokyo with wide-eyed wonder, while Taki tries to act normal in a traditional village where everyone knows everyone? It’s hilarious. They bicker, leave notes on each other’s phones, and begin to set rules. But then — something happens.
They start to care.

Esta joya animada de 1981 sigue siendo todo lo increíble que recordaba, esta película la vi cuando era muy joven y ahora que la abuela retomar siendo adulta la verdad puedo decir que le entiendo de mejor manera, las críticas sociales el erotismo la violencia explícita son parte de este filme y la verdad es que cada historia antológica logra ser maravillosa, Eso sí es impresionante como una animación de 1981 es envejecido de tan buena manera.
This animated gem from 1981 is still as amazing as I remembered, I saw this movie when I was very young and now that I saw it as an adult I can say that I understand it in a better way, the social criticism, eroticism and explicit violence are part of this film and the truth is that each anthological story is wonderful, it is impressive how an animation from 1981 is aged in such a good way.
Creo que por ahí de todas las historias antológicas que se relatan si puedo decir que uno o dos realmente pueden ser un poco lentas pero ninguna llega a ser mala como tal, en realidad cada una se siente bastante sólida por sí misma y es una de esas joyas animadas que es para adultos que muy poca gente ha visto especialmente porque tiene mucho erotismo de por medio pero la verdad es que no deben dejar pasarla por alto.
I think out there of all the anthology stories that are told if I can say that one or two really can be a little slow but none of them get to be bad as such, actually each one feels pretty solid on its own and it's one of those animated gems that is for adults that very few people have seen especially because it has a lot of eroticism involved but the truth is that you really shouldn't pass it up.
Creo que bueno un punto en contra que si pudiera decirle Es que para aquellas personas que no están familiarizadas con el cine de arte puede que muchas de las historias que se cuentan les puedan parecer confusas o no tan explícitas Y eso puede ser que les incomode pero aquellas personas que le canta el cine de arte y realmente quieren ver algo profundo algo diferente la verdad es que se las recomiendo, con esto quiero decir que sí es una buena película animada pero también entiendo que no es para todo el mundo.

Picture this: a player runs onto the other team's court to tag as many players as possible and get back to their own side before they get caught. There are no balls, no nets, or anything weird here, just high-intensity physical contact! It's like a weird mix between wrestling and dodgeball, but with a special twist that makes every match a battle to the death. One of the coolest things about Burning Kabaddi is that it doesn't just throw all the rules at you at once. Instead, it slowly draws you into the world of kabaddi, letting you learn alongside the characters. This makes it feel almost interactive, as if the anime were taking your hand and saying, "Relax, let's figure this out together!" Before you know it, you're there, deep in the excitement, feeling the adrenaline rush with every move.
Hola a todos, amigos fanáticos del anime, gran comunidad de The Anime Realm, espero que estén genial, en esta ocasión les quiero hablar de un anime que pasó muy desapercibido, cuando conocí Burning Kabaddi por primera vez, me quedé como "¿Kabaddi? ¿Qué es eso?".. me intrigó, ¿a quién se le ocurre hacer un anime de un deporte que casi nadie conoce? No es como los animes de deportes típicos, nada de voleibol con remates épicos, ni baloncesto con clavadas de otro mundo, ni fútbol con jugadas increíbles, en cambio, este anime te mete de lleno en un deporte que es puro poder físico y es super emocionante! es como un respiro de aire fresco en los animes de deportes..
Para los que no entienden mucho, el kabaddi es un deporte de contacto donde lo importante es tanto la estrategia como ser fuerte y ágil. Imagínense esto: un jugador corre a la cancha del otro equipo para tocar a todos los que pueda y volver a su lado antes de que lo atrapen, aquí no hay pelotas, ni redes, ni nada raro, ¡solo contacto físico de gran intensidad! Es como una mezcla rara entre lucha libre y quemados, pero con un toque especial que hace que cada partido sea una batalla a muerte.. una de las cosas más chéveres de Burning Kabaddi es que no te avienta todas las reglas de golpe, en vez de eso, te va metiendo de a poquito en el mundo del kabaddi, dejándote aprender junto con los personajes. Esto hace que la cosa se sienta casi interactiva, como si el anime te agarrara de la mano y te dijera: "¡Relájate, vamos a entender esto juntos!".. cuando menos te lo esperes, ya estás ahí, metidísimo en la emoción, sintiendo la adrenalina con cada jugada.
Let’s start with the protagonist, Yoigo Tatsuya, this guy is interesting… imagine, he was a soccer star, a child prodigy, one of those who really killed it on the field… but now he’s got a thing for sports because of a bad experience, he had everything to be a star and he sent everything to hell, and the craziest thing is that destiny, which can be really screwed up sometimes, ends up pushing him, almost kicking him!, to the school kabaddi club. His internal problem, his idea is towards sports and how they pull him into this new world, create a story that, although it seems simple at first, it catches you… if I’m honest, at first I doubted if watching an anime about a sport I didn’t even know was worth it. You're used to the same clichés of sports anime, volleyball teams against impossible rivals, basketball clubs chasing the championship, soccer teams dreaming of glory... But this anime breaks with all that, it dares to explore something totally new, and that risky move is what makes it stand out... it's a breath of fresh air to see an anime that isn't afraid to be different.
Now, let's talk about the animation, I'm not going to lie to you, Burning Kabaddi doesn't have the visual fluidity of Haikyuu!! or Kuroko's Basket, but it does its job, its visual style has a special touch that goes perfectly with the roughness of kabaddi, don't expect super spectacular movements, but the series makes up for it with an energy and emotion that you really feel. And the music, what a surprise, the soundtrack, adds a whole new vibe to the intensity of the matches, making even the training sessions seem important... something I loved is how the series teaches you kabaddi little by little, without you realizing it. It doesn't throw a ton of information at you from the first episode, but instead lets you learn alongside the characters. Each match is like a lesson, and that makes the experience much more immersive... I even found myself pausing the anime during certain scenes, thinking about what I had just learned, as if I were studying with them. But it's not tedious, it's interesting.
Arranquemos con el protagonista, Yoigo Tatsuya, este chico es interesante.. imagínate, era un crack del fútbol, un niño prodigio, de esos que la rompían en la cancha.. pero, ahora le agarró rabia a los deportes por una mala experiencia, tenía todo para ser una estrella y mandó todo al carajo, y lo más loco es que el destino, que a veces es bien jodido, lo termina empujando, ¡casi a las patadas!, al club de kabaddi de la escuela. Su problema interno, su idea está hacia los deportes y cómo lo jalan a este mundo nuevo, crean una historia que, aunque parezca simple al principio, te atrapa.. si les soy sincero, al principio dudé si ver un anime de un deporte que ni conocía valía la pena. Uno está acostumbrado a los mismos clichés de los animes de deportes, equipos de vóley contra rivales imposibles, clubes de basket buscando el campeonato, equipos de fútbol soñando con la gloria.. Pero este anime rompe con todo eso, se anima a explorar algo totalmente nuevo, y esa jugada arriesgada es lo que lo hace destacar.. es un soplo de aire fresco ver un anime que no tiene miedo de ser diferente.
Ahora, hablemos de la animación, no les voy a mentir, Burning Kabaddi no tiene la fluidez visual de Haikyuu!! o Kuroko no Basket, pero cumple su función, su estilo visual tiene un toque especial que va perfecto con lo rudo del kabaddi, no esperen movimientos super espectaculares, pero la serie lo compensa con una energía y una emoción que se sienten de verdad. Y la música, que sorpresa, la banda sonora, le pone toda la onda a la intensidad de los partidos, logrando que hasta los entrenamientos parezcan importantes.. algo que me encantó es cómo la serie te va enseñando el kabaddi de a poquito, sin que te des cuenta, no te tira un montón de información desde el primer capítulo, sino que te deja aprender a la par de los personajes. Cada partido es como una lección, y eso hace que la experiencia sea mucho más inmersiva.. a mí me pasó de pausar el anime en algunas escenas, pensando en lo que acababa de aprender, como si estuviera estudiando con ellos, pero no es tedioso, es interesante.

At first glance, he doesn’t look like your typical super strong, bossy leader… he’s not the tallest or the most muscular, but he makes up for it with incredible skill and genius determination.
His story teaches you that true strength isn’t just physical, but strength from the heart and how much you sacrifice, I loved watching him play and how his persistence inspires others. I know some of you might be wondering, “Is this just another sports anime with a weird sport to get attention?” I thought the same at first, but as the story progressed, I realized that there’s something different about Burning Kabaddi, it’s not just the kabaddi itself, but how Yoigo, the protagonist, evolves from someone who hates sports to someone who starts to find new meaning in it. His change is real and well done, making it easy to root for the character. Plus, the series has a touch of humor that perfectly balances the intensity of the matches. It's not a crazy comedy, but it has relaxed moments that make you laugh just when the tension starts to get too high... this balance makes the anime even cooler and prevents it from becoming boring.
Este anime no va solo del deporte, también te habla del trabajo en equipo, de no rendirte nunca y de cómo los jugadores se levantan después de perder.. cada vez que el equipo sale a la cancha, sientes todo el esfuerzo que le meten, la emoción cuando ganan y la frustración cuando las cosas no salen. Es una historia que te recuerda que estar en un equipo no es solo ganar, sino crecer juntos y aprender a superar cualquier dificultad.. hay algo muy real en cómo muestran las emociones fuertes que se viven cuando te dedicas a un deporte así de intenso, quiero destacar al capitán del equipo de kabaddi, ¡qué personaje! A primera vista, no parece el típico líder superfuerte y que manda a todos.. no es el más alto ni el más musculoso, pero lo compensa con una habilidad increíble y una determinación genial..
Su historia te enseña que la verdadera fuerza no es solo física, sino de corazón y de cuánto te sacrificas, a mí me encantó verlo jugar y cómo su insistencia inspira a los demás.. sé que algunos se preguntarán: "¿Será este otro anime de deportes con un deporte raro para llamar la atención?". Yo también pensé lo mismo al principio, pero a medida que avanzaba la historia, me di cuenta de que Burning Kabaddi tiene algo diferente, no es solo el kabaddi en sí, sino cómo evoluciona Yoigo, el protagonista, desde alguien que odia los deportes a alguien que empieza a encontrarle un nuevo sentido.. su cambio es real y está bien hecho, lo que hace que sea fácil apoyar al personaje. Además, la serie tiene un toque de humor que equilibra perfecto la intensidad de los partidos, no es una comedia loca, pero tiene momentos relajados que te hacen reír justo cuando la tensión empieza a subir demasiado.. este balance hace que el anime sea aún más chévere y evita que se vuelva aburrido.
And I have to confess something, people: after watching this anime, I started looking for videos of real kabaddi matches... I was crazy! The intensity and the hits in real life are much more impressive than in the anime. It blew my mind how something I knew nothing about managed to hook me so much, and it even made me curious to know more about this sport... If I had to give it a grade, I'd give it an 8/10. Y les tengo que confesar algo, gente: después de ver este anime, me puse a buscar videos de partidos de kabaddi de verdad.. quedé loco! La intensidad y los golpes en la vida real son mucho más impresionantes que en el anime, me voló la cabeza cómo algo que no conocía para nada logró engancharme tanto y hasta me dio curiosidad por saber más de este deporte.. si tuviera que ponerle nota, le doy un 8/10, no tiene la animación más top ni la historia más revolucionaria, pero lo que le falta en eso lo supera con creces con corazón, originalidad y una onda fresca dentro de los animes de deportes. Es un anime que no solo te muestra un deporte nuevo, sino que te deja con ganas de entenderlo y seguir viéndolo.
Alguna vez les ha pasado que descubren algo totalmente nuevo? ¿Ver un deporte que jamás imaginaron y hasta les dan ganas de practicarlo? One of my best genres of movies is the horror type, and I’m very much fond of the zombie style because I get curious and imagine how the world is going to be if it eventually gets overrun by zombies. I came across this movie "The Sadness" via a mere recommendation on social media, and after I watched it, I kept wondering how a movie like this is not hyped. I remember making a post about it on my WhatsApp status, and I got a lot of people asking which movie it was.
This movie is a standout in terms of brutality, among all the zombie movies I have watched. I’ve seen many zombie movies, you know, because I’m a fan of them, and for me to pick this as a standout in terms of brutality, you must know it’s really brutal to the core.
Over the years, I have seen the transformation and evolution of zombies in movies, but the ones in this movie are not just ordinary zombies. These ones still have human senses in them. They're killable; in fact, the infection is not just a zombie virus per se, but something else entirely.
Okay, so there was news about the outbreak of a virus in the city of China that’s affecting people and making them kill those who are not infected, in very brutal ways. Not only that, the virus also makes the infected have an extremely high s3x drive—to the extent of same-s3x acts in public. The infected, with their human senses still intact, would team up with other infected and attack the non-infected, tear their flesh, suck blood, cut off pr!vate párts, jubilate, and even have s3x naked in the street.
How is the virus transmitted?
It’s in the air. Once it enters someone’s brain, the person starts thinking about violence, killing, and s3xual acts, and there’s no satisfaction point.
The storyline and the main characters
Kim and Kat, a young couple living and enjoying real love in the city, heard about the virus but didn’t take it seriously. Kat went to work, and while on the train, the virus trickled in and got into the minds of some people. That’s how the killing started—in a very brutal way—such as plucking out people’s eyes, tearing flesh, sucking blood, and even bathing in blood while in a joyous mood. Kat couldn’t believe her eyes because almost everyone on the train was enjoying the show, except her and just a few others. She rescued someone whose eye had been plucked out and headed to the hospital, while one of the infected men chased them because he wanted to finish his work.
Kat reached out to Kim via phone, and at home too, Kim’s neighbour got infected and used a flower spear to cut off his fingers, but he managed to kill the neighbour.

Kim told his wife to stay put while he came to get her—but did that happen? Their end story gave birth to the title of the movie because Kim got infected along the way. Did I spoil it? Maybe a bit—but there’s more to this movie that interested and freaked me out.

The editor and producers at large understood the movie script very well, and that made the brutal scenes feel very real—even though they appeared fake a bit, with the excess blood pumps and baths. I won’t lie; I love how they worked on the graphics.
The best part for me was when the president of China was making announcements and begging everyone to stay calm because they were working on controlling the situation. Then, the soldier standing beside him got infected and put a bomb in his mouth(president's mouth)—and his head, yes, the president’s head, blew off! And guess what? That happened while they were on national TV, live on air.
