I saw this movie some time ago and forgot about it until today I remembered it and watched it again. I love it, I love Yuuta, I love Gojo, I want to suck his eye. I had to say it, Gojo's eyes are too beautiful not to want to suck one out even if it is, so don't blame me, and I make no apologies for wanting to do that, it's a completely normal thing to do. This movie I waited too long for it, after watching the series and finding out that Mappa would be making the movie too I couldn't wait for it to be ready. I love the series, and I want to watch it again, maybe I will soon and possibly get around to reviewing it later, but right now I'll talk about the movie.
Yuuta is a 16-year-old teenager who has a curse on him, that curse he has had since he was a kid, and it's a miracle that not as many disasters have happened as could have taken place, until one day, Rika, Yuuta's curse, puts 4 of Yuuta's classmates in a locker who were harassing him, from that day on it was in consideration to murder Yuuta, but Gojo didn't let that happen, so instead, they took Yuuta to the Tokyo School of Sorcery, the Jujutsu Kaisen, which gives the name to this movie and the series, then from the moment Yuuta arrives at the school he not only begins to learn too many things, but an evil that has always existed makes an appearance and threatens to destroy the world as they know it.
Hace ya cierto tiempo vi esta película y lo había olvidado, hasta que hoy la recordé y la volví a ver. La amo, amo a Yuuta, amo a Gojo, quiero chuparle un ojo. Tenía que decirlo, los ojos de Gojo son demasiado hermosos como para no querer chuparle uno aunque sea, así que no me culpen, y no me disculpo por querer hacer eso, es algo completamente normal. Esta película la esperé demasiado tiempo, después de ver la serie y de enterarme de que Mappa también haría la película no podía esperar a que estuviera lista. Amo la serie, quiero verla de nuevo, quizás lo haga pronto y posiblemente me anime a hacerle la reseña después, pero en este momento hablaré de la película.
Yuuta es un adolescente de 16 años que tiene una maldición encima, dicha maldición la tiene desde que es un niño, y es un milagro que no hayan sucedido tantos desastres como podrían haber tenido lugar, hasta que un día, Rika, la maldición de Yuuta, mete a 4 compañeros de Yuuta en un locker que lo acosaban, desde ese día se tuvo en consideración asesinar a Yuuta, pero Gojo no dejó que eso sucediera, así que a cambio, se llevaron a Yuuta para la Escuela de Hechicería de Tokio, la Jujutsu Kaisen, que le da el nombre a esta película y a la serie, entonces desde el momento en que Yuuta llega a la escuela no solo comienza a aprender demasiadas cosas, si no que un mal que siempre ha existido hace acto de presencia y amenaza con destruir el mundo tal como lo conocen.
There are two central themes in this movie both themes revolve around Yuuta, the first is Rika's curse, which is a curse of a particular kind and they are too rare and powerful to even come into existence, let alone accompany someone since they were a child causing the least amount of damage possible, that alone is rare enough to make Yuuta more special than he can ever imagine. The second theme is Geto and his incessant need to make humans disappear from the world as he faithfully believes that they are too inferior to wizards for the world to be dominated by them and not by wizards who are far more superior than humans, so ever since Yuuta arrived at the school he decided that he would steal Rika from her as it would be the last curse he would need to have enough power to change the world as it is known to him.
Yuuta and Rika's story is horrible, they loved each other since they were kids and promised to stay together for the rest of their lives, their whole lives, and no, Rika suffers an accident, dies, and her ghost attaches itself to Yuuta protecting him violently and uncontrollably from anything that could cause him harm or discomfort, it's horrible, it still doesn't manage to make me cry the story, but it does melt me and make me feel bad. The ending of the two of them is beautiful, that ending does make me cry, but only for 3 seconds because then I shoo away the tears thinking about other things.
Hay dos temas centrales en esta película es ambos temas giran alrededor de Yuuta, el primero es la maldicón de Rika, que es una maldición de tipo especial y son muy raras y poderosas como para que siquiera lleguen a existir, y mucho menos acompañar a alguien desde que era niño causando la menor cantidad de daños posibles, eso ya es lo suficientemente raro como para que Yuuta sea más especial de lo que él mismo pueda llegar a imaginar. El segundo tema es Geto y su incesante necesidad de hacer desaparecer a los humanos del mundo pues cree fielmente que son demasiado inferiores a los hechiceros como para que el mundo sea dominado por ellos y no por los hechiceros que son mucho más superiores que los humanos, entonces desde que Yuuta llegó a la escuela decidió que le robaría a Rika, pues sería la última maldición que necesitaría para tener el poder suficiente para cambiar el mundo como se le conoce.
La historia de Yuuta y Rika es horrible, se querían desde niños y prometieron seguir juntos por el resto de sus vidas, toda la vida, y no, Rika sufre un accidente, muere, y su fantasma se adhiere a Yuuta protegiéndolo con violencia y sin control de todo lo que pueda causarle daño o malestar, es horrible, aún no logra hacerme llorar la historia, pero sí me derrite y me hace sentir mal. El final de ellos dos es hermoso, ese final sí me hace llorar, pero solo por 3 segundos porque entonces espanto las lágrimas pensando en otras cosas.
I completely understand Geto and fight against the incessant desire to see the world burn and humans disappear completely, it's hard. I know it's wrong that I want humans to disappear completely, but they deserve it, we deserve it, and I wouldn't be upset at all if something like that were to happen. Geto, you are wrong, but I support you, even if it is wrong too. There will always be someone who will see humans in the worst possible way because of all their life experiences, and that is their reality, distorted, but it is their reality, and although you can get to change that perspective they have, you don't always succeed.
Gojo is one of my favorite characters, he is an adult who has the mind of a 4-year-old child with excessive moments of lucidity and maturity that help him to appear to be someone he is not. His serious moments are very few, but intense, like when he meets Yuuta and tells him that it's not worth the confinement, and that being alone is bad, so he doesn't lose anything if he goes to the sorcery school to learn all about curses so he can use Rika to save as many people as he can, that moment was beautiful and strong, it was all Yuuta needed to be able to continue in this world and live.
Yo entiendo por completo a Geto y lucho contra las ganas incesantes de ver arder al mundo y que los humanos desaparezcan por completo, es difícil. Sé que está mal que quiera que los humanos desaparezcan por completo, pero es que se lo merecen, nos lo merecemos, y no me molestaría en absoluto de que algo así llegue a suceder. Geto, estás mal, pero te apoyo, aunque también esté mal. Siempre existirá alguien que verá a los humanos de la peor forma posible por todas sus experiencias de vida, y esa es su realidad, distorsionada, pero es su realidad, y aunque se puede llegar a cambiar esas perspectiva que tiene, no siempre se logra.
Gojo es una de mis personajes favoritos, es un adulto que tiene la mente de un niño de 4 años con momentos excesivos de lucidez y madures que lo ayudan a aparentar ser alguien que no es. Sus momentos serios son muy pocos, pero intensos, como cuando conoce a Yuuta y le dice que no vale la pena el encierro, que estar solo es malo, por lo que no pierde nada si va a la escuela de hechicería para aprender todo sobre las maldiciones y así poder usar a Rika para salvar a tanta gente como pueda, ese momento fue hermoso y fuerte, era todo lo que Yuuta necesitaba para poder seguir en este mundo y vivir de verdad.
I already told you, Mappa animated this movie, so it has the best possible animation it could ever have, the fights are exquisite, I never get tired of watching them, and I think that for this very reason is that I will watch the series again, it has excessively good moments that are almost impossible to forget, and even if you remember them completely it is necessary to watch them again because it is the only way in which you appreciate the quality of the moment, the intensity of what happens, and they have burned again in our mind and memory.
There you have the trailer, it is completely beautiful, I saw it before watching the movie again, you can't miss it, this is one of the best movies possible, I think it became one of the highest-grossing movies in theaters, I don't remember what place it was, I think second place, so yes, it is worth it and it is a delight to watch it, the more times you see it, the better, I have seen it twice, then I will see it again, I know, I like it enough and it is very good, so I will never regret doing it. Go see the love between Yuuta and his curse, Rika, plus all of Geto's arguments to try to justify his desire to make humans disappear.
Ya les dije, Mappa animó esta película, así que tiene la mejor animación posible que podría llegar a tener, las peleas son exquisitas, no me canso de verlas, y creo que por esta misma razón es que volveré a ver la serie, tiene momentos excesivamente buenos que son casi imposibles de olvidar, y aunque se recuerden por completo es necesario volver a verlos porque es la única forma en la que de verdad se aprecia la calidad del momento, la intensidad de lo que sucede, y se vuelven a grabar a fuego en nuestra mente y nuestra memoria.
Ahí tienen el trailer, es completamente hermoso, lo vi antes de volver a ver la película, no tiene pérdida alguna, esta es una de las mejores películas posibles, creo que llegó a ser una de las películas con mayor ingreso en cines, no recuerdo de qué lugar quedó, creo que de segundo lugar, así que sí, merece totalmente la pena y es una delicia verla, mientras más veces la vean, mejor, yo la he visto dos veces, después la volveré a ver, lo sé, me gusta lo suficiente y es muy buena, así que nunca me arrepentiré de hacerlo. Vayan a ver el amor entre Yuuta y su maldición, Rika, además de todos argumentos de Geto para tratar de justificar sus deseos de desaparecer a los humanos.
