Yesterday I found a film that I thought was beautiful. It caught my attention because one of the characters looked a lot like Klara Sesemann from the series Heidi, but then I realized that the story was totally different. This is about Anna, a girl who has some problems adapting to society and the environment that surrounds her, which is why a doctor advised that she be in a quieter environment, so she went to live with relatives in a town, but despite the efforts of some girls her age to try to get closer to her, Anna remained isolated, relating only with the relatives with whom she lived and with nature, but this situation changes drastically when she meets Marnie, a foreign girl (due to her appearance) this girl is also very lonely, apparently she has been raised only by servants and has almost no contact with anyone, the house where she lives looks abandoned, but despite everything both girls get along very well, live adventures, make confidences and manage a beautiful friendship, until little by little Anna discovers that Marnie and she have much more in common than she imagines.
Ayer encontré una película que me pareció bellísima, me llamó mucho la atención debido a que uno de los personajes se parecía mucho a Klara Sesemann de la serie Heidi, pero luego me di cuenta que la historia era totalmente diferente. Se trata de Anna, una niña que tiene algunos problemas para adaptarse a la sociedad y al entorno que la rodea, razón por la cuál un médico aconsejó que estuviese en un entorno más tranquilo, de esta manera se fue a casa de unos familiares en un pueblo, pero a pesar de los esfuerzos de algunas niñas de su edad por intentar acercarse a ella, Anna permanecía aislada, relacionándose únicamente con los familiares con los que vivía y con la naturaleza, pero esta situación cambia drásticamente cuando conoce a Marnie, una niña extranjera (debido a su aspecto) esta niña se nota que también está muy sola, al parecer ha sido criada solo por la servidumbre y casi no tiene contacto con nadie, la casa donde vive se ve abandonada, pero a pesar de todo ambas niñas se llevan muy bien, viven aventuras, se hacen confidencias y manejan una hermosa amistad, hasta que poco a poco Anna descubre que Marnie y ella tienen muchísimo más en común de lo que imagina.
I really liked the film for several reasons. First, for all the lessons it teaches us as audiences, as it encourages the value of friendship and trust in those who are special to us, self-acceptance, and the importance of family and ancestral relationships. Both characters complement each other because they feel affinity, and this happens because each listens to the other and doesn't judge one another. They recognize each other's very own attitudes. They share the same love of nature. They both feel the need for affection and find it difficult to express themselves to other people because they think they will be misunderstood. On the other hand, the air of mystery and anachronism that surrounds Marnie, her family, and her house is extremely interesting. It makes you ask a thousand different questions, but in reality, you're not even close to understanding what's really going on.
Me gustó mucho la película por varias razones, en primer lugar por todo el aprendizaje que nos deja como audiencia, ya que incentiva el valor de la amistad y la confianza en los seres que son especiales para nosotros, la aceptación personal, y la importancia de las relaciones familiares y ancestrales. Ambos personajes se complementan porque sienten afinidad, y esto sucede porque cada una escucha a la otra y no se juzgan entre sí, reconocen en la otra actitudes muy propias, comparten el mismo amor por la naturaleza, ambas sienten la necesidad de afecto y les cuesta expresarse con otras personas porque piensan que serán incomprendidas. Por otra parte es sumamente interesante ese aire de misterio y anacronismo que envuelve a Marnie, a su familia y a su casa, hace que te plantees en tu mente miles de conjeturas diferentes, pero en realidad no estás ni cerca de pensar lo que sucede realmente.
I liked the music, the scenery, and the animation because they create a sense of relaxation and peace that matches the characters' emotions. In their moments of anguish, the environment becomes stormy and gray, and when the two play and exchange secrets, the environment becomes friendlier; in fact, these landscapes—that is, nature itself—become another character. The story also features excellent character development; the big changes are noticeable, and the story has an impressive plot twist near the end, so it's not a flat story at all.
Me gustaron la música, los paisajes y la animación porque generan una sensación de relax y de paz que se ajustan a las emociones de los personajes. En sus momentos de angustia, el entorno se vuelve tormentoso y gris, y cuando ambas juegan e intercambian confidencias el entorno se vuelve más amigable, de hecho estos paisajes, es decir, la naturaleza misma se convierte en un personaje más. Además la historia maneja un excelente desarrollo de personajes, se notan los grandes cambios, y la historia tiene un giro de trama impresionante casi al final, así que no es una historia plana en lo absoluto.
The film conveys melancholy and sadness, but at the same time, it also conveys hope for healing through forgiveness and the discovery of one's own roots. It can be enjoyed at any age; you don't have to be a child to enjoy this beautiful film. In fact, watching it brought back beautiful memories and made me think about the sacrifices our loved ones probably made without us knowing. On the other hand, the story makes you reflect on the simplest things in life that we sometimes have and don't appreciate. Money can't buy happiness, nor love. You can buy companionship, but not friendship. Marnie's parents, for example, gave their daughter luxury and servants at her disposal, but who she really needed was them, her own parents, not the frivolous beings who even bothered her and made her suffer on purpose.
La película transmite melancolía y tristeza pero a la vez también transmite esperanzas de sanación a través del perdón y descubrimiento de tus propias raíces. Se puede disfrutar a cualquier edad , no hace falta ser un niño para disfrutar de esta preciosa película, de hecho verla me hizo evocar hermosos recuerdos, y me hizo pensar en los sacrificios que probablemente hicieron nuestros seres queridos sin que lo supiésemos. Por otra parte la historia te hace reflexionar acerca de las cosas más sencillas de la vida que a veces tenemos y no valoramos. El dinero no compra la felicidad, ni el amor, puedes comprar compañía pero no amistad, los padres de Marnie por ejemplo le daban a su hija lujo y sirvientes a su disposición, pero ella a quién necesitaba realmente era a ellos, a sus propios padres, no a los frívolos seres que incluso la molestaban y la hacían sufrir a propósito.
