Like when someone recommends an anime to you and you don't watch it because the synopsis and thumbnail don't grab your attention, but then you finally give it a chance and end up loving it—well, that's what happened to me. My sister kept telling me to watch this anime, and I ignored her. Plus, when it first came out, I was watching a lot of others at the same time. Even so, it's never too late, and that's why I'm here to recommend it to you today.
This anime premiered in early 2025, directed by Mitsue Yamazaki and produced by the animation studio MAPPA. It belongs to the genres of romantic comedy, adventure, heroic fantasy, and reverse isekai.
The story follows Natsuko Amasawa, a young animation prodigy who, after directing a massive hit right out of high school, is hailed as an industry genius. Her life is a race against time, dedicated entirely to technical perfection and meeting impossible deadlines. She also has zero social skills and her tact towards others is quite poor. This lack of understanding of relationships hits her even harder when she's assigned her next big project: a romantic comedy film about first love, a completely unfamiliar topic for her.
After several mishaps, she is transported into the story of her favorite anime, which has a tragic fantasy and romance plot. However, being inside it, she has the power to rewrite the script, becoming just another inhabitant of that world. As the story progresses, for the first time, Natsuko will live among people she can't order around and has to learn to socialize, to feel empathy, and, most importantly, to experience that "first love" that eluded her in the real world.
I didn't have high hopes for it until I saw the anime, because I thought it was just another isekai, but it really surprised me. More than an isekai, it's a metanarrative about artistic creation, a metaphor for creative exhaustion and escapism, which is somewhat ironic coming from MAPPA, since the exploitation of artists in Japan and the meager compensation they receive is no secret. I also like the contrast between the two worlds: in one, there's the coldness of the real world, the claustrophobia of the MAPPA offices before the protagonist's turning point, while in the fantasy world, it feels like a physical relief, not only for Natsuko but for us as well.
The animation is incredible, very vibrant and fluid, typical of what this studio has been delivering, with a beautiful artistic composition that closely mimics a storyboard, immersing you in the world of animation. I love the characters; I feel like you can identify with some of them, especially the protagonist, because I know very well what it's like to have to deliver everything by a deadline, the stress involved, and that the creative process is quite extensive and often unappreciated. It also teaches us something very valuable that applies to everything: "art without soul is just technique." Every work is imbued with the feelings of its creators, and if there's no emotion, it ends up being an empty work.
-Clearly showcases the world of animation, its dark side, and all that it entails.
-Beautiful and fluid animation.
-Masterful Visual Contrast: The aesthetic transition is flawless.
-Subversion of the Isekai genre: Natsuko doesn't just arrive as a hero; she's powerful because she knows the "rules" of that world, but she's weak because her logical tools are useless for dealing with the characters' unpredictable emotions.
9/10 Story │ 10/10 Animation │ 8/10 Sound │ 9/10 Character Design │ 9/10 Overall
This anime didn't seem very appealing to me; I felt it was just another one of those isekai series. But I was wrong, because it really shows us many nuances of the animators that we don't see at first glance, especially with one that strives for perfection but lacks soul in its work. In short, it needs to learn to feel in order to create. So, tell me, have you seen this anime? What did you think?

I already shared a lot of times here how I dislike isekai and the usual tropes that come with it. There are just a few times that I tried watching some of them, but most of them just left a bad impression on me, and so since they're obviously not my cup of tea, I leave them alone. However, this anime series caught me off guard because initially, I thought this would be another failed attempt to appreciate this theme, but it turns out it’s actually a good anime. Honestly, it’s my first time liking an isekai anime this much because, based on my previous watching experience with them, usually it’s either an ok anime or a bad one, and mostly it’s the latter that I have seen most. So now, without further ado, I’ll share with you the gist and my review of the first isekai that I certainly love and enjoyed watching—Zenshu.
About the Anime
Zenshu is an isekai anime that was released last winter 2025, and it aired from January 5 up until March 23. This 12-episode-long action fantasy anime was an original animation created by MAPPA and it follows the life of Natsuko Hirose, a young and brilliant animator. Ever since she was a child, she devoted her time to becoming the ‘virtuoso’ she envisioned herself to be, and so when she finished high school, she wasted no time in attending an art school and proceeded to enter the demanding industry of animation. Her dedication and talent immediately propelled her to the higher position, and it wasn’t long before she debuted as an anime director.
Obviously, her first work was a hit, and so when the second one came, a lot expected that it would be as good as or even better than the first one. However, her second project was completely different from the first one because it would be about first love—and the thing is, Natsuko definitely has no idea about it! Struggling to find any inspiration for her storyboard, Natsuko finds herself falling into desperation and despair. Her co-workers already tried to help her, but she shut them all down—well, except for the food that caused her untimely demise. She thought she died after eating that rotten clam; however, the next thing she knew is that she was in the middle of the desert. The place looked unfamiliar to her until she saw a familiar creature coming towards her. And that’s when she realized she’s in her favorite anime movie!
I hadn’t really imagined even once that a day would come that I would like an isekai this much. I already mentioned how it became one of my turn-off themes in anime, so I wasn’t expecting much when I tried watching this anime. I had read good reviews about it, but still I did have a lot of doubts because it’s an isekai, plus I’m not sure if those reviewers’ preferences match mine. Maybe they liked it because they like isekai, so yeah, it did take time before I added this to my to-watch list this year. The reviews don’t have significant spoilers, so I really didn’t have an idea of how the story will go. I thought that would be the bane of mine, but it turns out this anime exceeded my expectations. Yes, there are still the familiar isekai tropes; however, there are concepts that I find quite unique and cool.
The fact that Natsuko knows the entire plot of the movie she’s in is really interesting because once she starts preventing tragedy after tragedy from happening, it genuinely made me wonder what will happen next. I know that every action that she made was bound to have a reaction, so that made me anticipate more about the later episodes. Also, I like how Natsuko changed some characters—especially Destiny. I really don’t like how she appeared the first time, like she’s definitely the typical fan service character, plus she has that damsel in distress vibe, which I’m not fond of, yet gratefully, Natsuko changed her for the better. Further, I like how diverse and entertaining the characters are—especially Unio! His reactions are always so hilarious because you can really see how transparent he is in expressing them, and also his banters with Natsuko—those were really precious, haha.
As for the visuals and animation, it’s MAPPA—so obviously I don’t have anything bad to say about them. From the background to character design, they’re really easy on the eye. Of course, some of the character design needs to be like the generic isekai because it’s supposed to be that way until Natsuko comes into the picture. The animation is so satisfying to watch, like you can really see the effort in making those because of how fluid and smooth the movements look. Even the small details, like the subtle movement of Natsuko’s hair or the crease that appears whenever Luke smiles, they may seem less significant, but I can see they’re intentionally added in order for those scenes to have more impact, and I realized this also because of an episode from this anime. There’s that certain episode where Natsuko’s life before was featured, and in it shared how she made the animation by hand. She ignored the original keyframes because maybe she finds them uninteresting—not because they’re badly drawn but because they probably lack details that make more impact on the audience. It is evident that she altered the shot composition, and also even the expression on the characters’ faces is a lot more defined. Those expressions may be overlooked most of the time, but certainly they were put there with the intention to make the animation more affecting.
So much for the good stuff; this anime also has a fair share of flaws, and one of them is its villains. I expected them to be terrifying, but once the action starts, it’s like over soon because they get slayed easily. They’re supposed to make the narrative intense, but the danger they emanate falls short and is most of the time bland. Also, the part where the emotions were running high, I know it’s supposed to last longer and have more impact, but it’s like they’re rushing it towards the falling action scene. I know it could have resonated more with me if it had been executed patiently. Anyway, I still enjoyed and loved it despite those flaws. I love that it showed how, not only the movie characters but also Natsuko, achieved the character development they needed as well as understood and experienced the first love she had been seeking. It’s truly a fulfilling watching experience, so would I recommend it? Definitely a strong yes! That’s why if you’re up for a fun isekai to watch, then maybe this review is definitely your sign to watch Zenshu.
Before I end this up, I'll share with you its trailer, so—
Have you seen this anime already? Or you still haven't even tried it yet? Well, if you have something to share, then feel free to write it down in the comments. And that's all for now, minna-san! I hope you enjoyed reading my review.

Today's anime is very unique; it's my first time watching an anime like this one. It's none other than Zenshu—it's a phenomenal anime that I have watched recently. This anime was released this year, but at that time, I did not like watching animes because I had recently started watching anime. Every time I find incredible animes like this one, I thank my niece for introducing me to the world of anime. I feel like I have become an Otaku by now, and I am planning to purchase some anime figures in the future. This show was the best thing that my eyes have witnessed.
I was stunned when I first watched the trailer and very curious because, in the trailer, the face of the protagonist was hidden. That aspect truly excited me to watch this anime. I have barely seen anime trailers where they hide the face of the protagonist, so this was something new to me. Also, the story caught me off guard; the animator entering the world of animation is such a huge thing. I would also want to do the same thing if it were possible to enter the anime world. Anyway, we will get the opportunity to see how an animator's life goes through hard phases, as I don't know much about the work of an animator. So, I decided to invest my time watching this anime.

The story is about a girl whose name is Natsuko; she is a talented, overworked anime director. One day, while working, she took a break to have her food, but she choked while eating and passed out. She was transported to the world of her favorite anime, "A Tale of Perishing." This happened when she choked on her food, which means she had a near-death experience. She doesn't know how to get out of the world; at first, she thought she was in the afterlife, but then she realized she's in her favorite show for real. She gets to experience the world with her favorite characters, but they are unaware of Natsuko's intentions. So, she struggles to get involved with the others.
Well, the animation style is really cool; also, the anime has many bright colors and dynamic character designs. This gives off a vibe of fun and youthful energy. Zenshu has the ability to capture the audience through a visually engaging experience because of its unique aesthetic outlook. It felt like an invitation to explore the anime world where anything can happen, and I felt no lines between reality and fantasy because they felt blurry.
Animation by MAPPA is one of the best things to experience. When it's MAPPA, the expectations reach the sky. Zenshu is made to be a refreshing anime that will be interesting to viewers who are looking for something different and new. In one word, I would say that it was just an amazing visual and audio experience. I hope there's a second season because I would love to see more of it. Season 1 had a happy ending, but still, I want to see more. I would like to rate it 10/10 because it was perfectly done, as I desire to see in an anime.
Hello, anime fans. This time I will tell you about a Japanese anime series that became very popular last season thanks to its prestigious animation studio. A series that ended up being just another Isekai, but not just another Isekai, since both its story and its characters managed to capture people's hearts during its broadcast earlier this year. Being an original work of MAPPA, this anime is directed by Mitsue Yamazaki. With only 12 episodes, this work has achieved more than many other series of the same genre. I invite you to get to know one of the best and most unexpected fantasy and adventure anime aired this past winter season.

The anime begins by introducing us to Natzuko Hirose, a young animator and director of a prestigious studio where she is recognized as a prodigy for her generation. While dealing with the typical problems of animation and script creation of her new and highly anticipated project, she learns that the creator of her favorite animated film has died of intoxication. Being a very demanding and distrustful person, he takes on most of the work involved while going through a severe mental block. At lunch, he also suffers from an intoxication that ends his life. But, instead of dying, Natzuko wakes up in the middle of a desert while being approached by a huge insect-like monster. Suddenly, a blonde-haired knight with a sword, cape and armor appears, defending her from the monster. She recognizes this heroic character as well as those who walk with him; they are the protagonists of her favorite movie, A Tale of Perishing.

Trama
I clearly remember how before its broadcast, social networks were sharing how much they wanted to see this new original project from MAPPA, one of the biggest and most acclaimed animation studios in history. With just its cover and small synopsis, people were under the illusion that it would be a drama-filled work dedicated to real-life animators who mostly live very strong experiences because of the overexploitation they receive, among other things. His surprise was disappointing when with the trailer and soon with its first episode aired we realized that it was a fantasy work, more specifically an Isekai (a demographic or subgenre of fantasy very overexploited in the anime industry). As a lover of all good works excellently animated and produced -in addition to knowing the great work that this great animation studio has been doing-, I followed its broadcast every week while I got to know little by little its story and its particular characters. Personally, I can admit that it is a work worth watching if you like the genre and are attracted to things a bit different. Regardless of whether it's an Isekai or not, I found this series to be one of the most entertaining and fascinating things I've seen this past season.

Starting with the story, we see that it revolves around Natzuko Hirose, a young animator and a genius of her generation who has achieved overwhelming success with her first job in the anime industry. After the events I told you about above, she finds herself fascinated to learn that she has been reincarnated or sent to the world of her favorite movie: A Tale of Perishing. At first she finds it hard to believe that everything she is experiencing is not just a dream, but at the same time she notices that everything that happens are scenarios that she herself knows or remembers from the movie. However, in the middle of an invasion of monsters called "Void", she receives the call of an object she has in her pocket that seems to help her draw. She comes up with something to draw and suddenly a studio appears out of nowhere (after a super-colorful, over-the-top visual effects scene with a fast-paced soundtrack) and starts drawing. When he finishes, what he draws becomes reality, causing a weapon to appear that will serve him to wipe out the army of monsters and save the only city left standing in this doomed fantasy world.
Already there are a few things that really stand out to me about this anime, starting with the world in which she is reincarnated or sent. This is the world of her favorite movie, which seems to be a fantasy-drama movie with a very sad and catastrophic ending on a general level. For some reason she loves this movie so much that now that she lives in this fictional world she does everything she can to make sure that the things that make this story pitiful do not happen. It's like the case of the typical time traveler who goes back in time and tries to change what already happened. Those of us who have experience watching works of this style know how it ends, so no matter how much the protagonist tries to change a story that is already done, everything bad that should happen, will happen just the same in some way or another. Without giving any more spoilers, what I want to get to with all this is that, the detail of giving that touch of drama and suspense to this fantasy work is something I really like. Also that it all revolves around the world of a movie and how a talented cheerleader tries her best to protect it along with the inhabitants or characters that make it up.
Evidently, this very special plot makes it very different from most works in the fantasy genre or the same Isekai demographic. While it has its details and similarities, this series is a far cry from the typical cheap clichés that these anime have or the overly exploited and repetitive plots that 99% of the Isekais have. On that side, I give it an excellent rating since they did their best to come up with a unique story in its style with very good plot twists and good character developments (at least for an original work). Then there is its generally ironic humor and scenes full of comic moments and exaggerated or over-exaggerated or over-expressive. This type of comedy used in these works is much better than what most of them use with their double entendre jokes or fanservice. While it came to disappoint many in the beginning because of what they tried to sell us, you have to accept that the premise of an overexploited cheerleader being reincarnated into the fantasy world of her favorite work is something that does hold my attention, at least for me. There's also the lessons they try to teach us in this story about teamwork, companionship, courage and love are worth appreciating. Because yes, there is even a touch of romance in this play, which is interesting in several ways.
As for the characters, let's start talking about the main character. Natzuko Hirose is introduced to us at the beginning as a young and very strange girl. Already with her disheveled appearance and her long hair covering her face is a clear sign of this. There is also the detail of being very demanding with her work, always expecting everything she and others do to be 100% perfect. This, being an animator and director of a studio is something that puts her in a very difficult position and full of responsibilities and high expectations all the time. However, when she is reincarnated in the fantasy world of her favorite movie, her bad habits, her behavior and her way of thinking cause problems for the team of heroes trying to protect this world. As she is the one who knows everything that is going to happen, we notice how her participation and influence makes the story change (not counting the relationships or bonds she creates with the characters of this world). On the other hand, we have the hero team, the Nine Soldiers that in this case only four remain alive. Among them is an elf mage and archer who has problems with society, a talking unicorn that walks on two legs and Luke Braveheart who is the leader of the team and the one who takes care of Natzuko almost all the time. Personally, I have no special opinion with these characters other than Luke who, for a typical hero of the story, gives a very good development and depth to everything he does and how he feels about the protagonist.
Last but not least, we talk about the technical aspect of this anime. Being animated and produced by MAPPA, it is normal that we see a quality far above that of almost all fantasy and Isekai anime nowadays. Both its animation and the particular design of its characters is quite attractive. What's interesting is the colorful and bright tone that said characters have in contrast to the doomed and dark world they find themselves in. I also really like that they put quite a bit of effort into giving us a setting almost entirely done in 2D with quite a bit of detail and impressive visuals. This makes it even more striking in battles, where we see a complete audiovisual spectacle perfectly done. The sound effects are well done, although it does not attract as much attention as the soundtrack, which is one of the most striking features of the anime (after its animation, of course). Both its Opening and Ending, its background music or that distinctive music of the main character when he is about to draw are the details that fascinate me and give life and emotion to the work. Anyway, this is an original fantasy anime that can interest any fan who is looking for something original and attractive to watch.
Personally, I give it a 9/10 rating for the fantasy, drama and action genre.

Lol. I had been thinking about this idea for years, reading various rumors, but I didn't expect anyone to seriously do it. I'll definitely watch it, but I can't imagine a fully serious fight between them. Yujiro's son is much stronger (see, for example, the fight with Pickle and then Ogre - even though I love the anime with Tokita Ohma, he wouldn't survive it), and he doesn't have a heart condition. Well, such crossovers are not about fighting, but about having fun... So I'll try not to pay attention to logic.

We got the first teaser of the next CG anime. I hope that this time we won't idiotically pretend "that this is the same universe as the first TV series." these episodes were burdened by the release, because instead of creating a new story from scratch, it was delivered naked, which neither developed this universe (by the way, as full of holes as the routes in DB, Bleach, Demon Slayer) nor was it made available through channels in itself. Since it will appear on D+ on Thursday, I will watch it safely.

[Dragon Dogma]
The publisher has gone from destroying himself to criticizing the game. Is it deserved? I will say this, on the one hand, well-known players, because game producers who want to get us are making more and more money (for which he will blame primarily those who buy all the garbage and forgive developers for their worst work - new parts of Call of Duty, Fifa , DLC, etc., they made it happen in the first place), but on the other hand, it's not Suicide Squad or Diablo IV. occurs that the game is really great and can be purchased in 2025 when it drops. No, and the manufacturer will unlock additional saves. xD

Lol.

No i producenci odblokuję dodatkowego save'a. XD
