Hello everyone, my friends who are fans of good stories, I hope you are doing great today, this time I want to talk about a very interesting anime, which pleasantly surprised me, I wasn't going to watch it, but thank goodness I did, today I will talk to you about the anime: My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999... from the first chapter it hooks you with the story, which is great: Akane, a university girl, is left by her gamer boyfriend... and not only does he cheat on her, but he does it with another girl he met in that Forest of Savior... for me, a super modern start and one you can identify with... I mean, who hasn't gone through something like this, a betrayal that is half digital, half real? that was the perfect gateway for a story that is about romance, yes, but also about finding oneself, the general atmosphere... look, I call it a 'comfort zone anime', one of those that doesn't make your hair stand on end, on the contrary, it creates a calm atmosphere, almost like therapy, so you can relax and just enjoy the walk after a long and hard day, sitting down to watch this felt like coming home, to that familiar and warm place.
If you're looking for something light, tender, one of those that hugs your heart, this anime does it great, it's innovative in a certain way, honestly, sometimes that's just what one needs... now, we have to talk about how it mixes romance with video games, which it does super well, because the gamer world is not just the background scenery, not at all... it's a key part of how everything progresses. Watching Akane get into this MMORPG thing, when she's just learning, was hilarious and it makes you feel so much tenderness too. There are moments where the game mechanics, the missions, all of that, connect with what happens to them in such a good way, that it's impossible not to smile... it's almost as if the game were something unique that connects the characters, teaches you little things about life and relationships without stealing the show. That fascinated me, honestly. It felt like a nod to the entire gaming community and, at the same time, a very fresh way to tell a love story.
Hola a todos, amigos fanáticos de las buenas historias, espero que estén genial hoy, en esta ocasión, quiero hablarles de un anime muy interesante, que me sorprendió gratamente, yo no lo iba a ver, pero menos mal que lo hice, hoy les hablaré del anime: My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999.. desde el primer capítulo te engancha con la historia, que está buenísima: Akane, una chica universitaria, la deja el novio gamer... y no solo la engaña, sino que lo hace con otra chica que conoció en el Forest of Savior ese.. para mí, un arranque súper moderno y con el que te puedes identificar.. o sea, ¿quién no ha pasado por algo así, una traición medio digital, medio real? esa fue la puerta de entrada perfecta para una historia que va de romance, sí, pero también de encontrarse a uno mismo, el ambiente general... miren, yo le digo que es un 'anime zona de confort', de esos que no te ponen los pelos de punta, al contrario, te crean una atmósfera tranqui, casi como una terapia, para que te relajes y nomás disfrutes el paseo después de un día largo y pesado, sentarte a ver esto se sentía como volver a casa, a ese lugar conocido y calientito.
Si andan buscando algo ligero, tierno, de esos que te abrazan el corazón, este anime lo hace genial, es innovador de cierta manera, la verdad, a veces eso es justo lo que uno necesita.. ahora, tenemos que hablar de cómo mezcla el romance con los videojuegos, que lo hace súper bien, porque el mundo gamer no es solo el escenario de fondo, para nada.. es parte clave de cómo avanza todo. Ver a Akane metiéndose en esto de los MMORPG, cuando apenas está aprendiendo, fue divertidísimo y te da mucha ternura también, hay momentos donde las mecánicas del juego, las misiones, todo eso, se conectan con lo que les pasa a ellos de una forma tan, pero tan buena, que es imposible no sonreír.. es casi como si el juego fuera algo único que conecta a los personajes, te enseña cositas de la vida y de las relaciones sin robarse la película. Eso me fascinó, la verdad, se sintió como un saludo a toda la comunidad gamer y, al mismo tiempo, una manera muy fresca de contar una historia de amor.
And about the characters... Akane's story is great, she's not the typical perfect protagonist, but she's not a disaster either, she's... real, I really liked how she shows what she feels, super honest... she doesn't run away from the pain of being dumped, she lives it head on, without hiding anything... the truth is, it reminded me of my own mistakes and how one learns, and that's why I felt that her journey was super authentic, really. And then there's Yamada... at first, yes, he seems kind of cold, like distant, but as things progress, you start to see his tender side, his depth, right? Seeing how he changes little by little, from being this quiet high school boy to someone who truly cares for Akane... phew! That was one of the things I liked the most, and when they're together, oh! those kind of awkward but super sweet moments... it's like watching two people who little by little find each other, getting along together.
It's one of those romances that doesn't rush into giant dramas, but rather cooks slowly, with little details, with understanding each other... something that really gives this anime a special touch are the supporting characters: the people from the guild, they're not just filler, right? They're key to the whole atmosphere of the anime... guys like Eita, Momo, Runa... they give it that vibe of 'community', of good-natured friends that makes everything feel richer, more complete... how they support Akane and Yamada, how that relationship forms, it feels super natural and honest, it's like each one is a little piece of today's social life, right? It reminds you that behind every couple there are always a ton of friends supporting them... I laughed a lot at their jokes and the truth is that you grow fond of all of them, even when they're involved in their own funny messes.
Y sobre los personajes.. la historia de Akane es genial, no es la típica prota perfecta, pero tampoco es un desastre, es... real, me gustó mucho cómo muestra lo que siente, súper honesta.. no le huye al dolor de que la dejaron, lo vive de frente, sin andar escondiendo nada.. la verdad, me recordó a mis propias metidas de pata y cómo uno aprende, y por eso sentí que su viaje era súper auténtico, de verdad. Y después está Yamada.. al principio, sí, parece medio frío, como lejano, pero conforme avanza la cosa, le vas viendo su lado tierno, su profundidad, ¿no? ver cómo va cambiando de a poquito, de ser este chico de prepa callado a alguien que de verdad se preocupa por Akane... ¡uf!, fue de las cosas que más me gustaron, y cuando están juntos, ¡ay!, esos momentos medio torpes pero súper lindos... es como ver a dos personas que de a poquito se van encontrando, agarrando su onda juntos.
Es de ese romance que no va a las apuradas con dramas gigantes, sino que se va cocinando lento, con detallitos, con entenderse el uno al otro.. algo que le da un toque especial a este anime, la verdad, son los personajes secundarios: la gente del gremio, no están nomás de relleno, ¿eh? Son clave para todo el ambiente del anime.. tipos como Eita, Momo, Runa... le ponen esa onda de 'comunidad', de amigos buena onda que hace que todo se sienta más rico, más completo.. cómo apoyan a Akane y Yamada, cómo se va formando esa relación, se siente súper natural y honesto, es como si cada uno fuera una piecita de la vida social de hoy, ¿no? Te recuerda que detrás de una pareja siempre hay un montón de amigos apoyando.. me reí un montón con sus chistes y la verdad es que les agarras cariño a todos, hasta cuando andan en sus propios líos divertidos.
And something I really loved was how things go, the pace it has... not like other romances that go at a thousand miles an hour, this one takes its time, it goes slowly... it lets the characters get to know each other little by little, enjoying those everyday moments that create that closeness, there are scenes where a simple thing - like laughing together over a silly thing in a game or a quiet gesture of support - tells you so much more than a bunch of words, those moments seemed great to me because they feel super real... they don't feel forced or dramatic at all, it's those little but honest details that weave something really beautiful between them.
Look, I know that the age difference, she's already in college and he's still in high school, can be a bit confusing, but do you know what surprised me? How the anime handles this wave very sensibly, very maturely... instead of focusing on the age difference as if it were THE problem, it puts it in today's context: how digital things, networks, games, can sort of shorten those distances, it's like a reminder that sometimes the heart doesn't count years, but rather focuses on the real connection between two people... another thing that I really liked is that this anime doesn't try to be something it's not, something immense, you know?
It has its little things from the usual love stories, the clichés that we already know, but it gives them a super fresh twist by including all this gamer culture of today... it's like it's telling you: "Yes, you already know this story, but look, I'm going to tell it to you in a more current and fun way", and believe me, there are a lot of very funny moments! Scenes you don't expect and that kill you with laughter, mixing university life with the disaster of online games... I still remember a scene where a glitch in the game ends up being a tender moment between them and it makes me laugh. It's those little surprises that made me love this series again and again, and I have to tell you, honestly, there were moments where it left me speechless, it exceeded what I expected. I went in thinking "oh, yet another romantic comedy about gamer otakus, super boring and soulless," and it was nothing like that! I found a deeper story, one that shows you the good and also the difficult things about today's relationships, that depth, that honest emotion, sometimes gets lost in other series, but here... here it really touched me.
Y algo que de verdad me encantó fue cómo va la cosa, el ritmo que lleva.. no como otros romances que van a mil por hora, este se toma su tiempo, va tranqui.. deja que los personajes se vayan conociendo poquito a poquito, disfrutando esos momentos del día a día que van creando esa cercanía, hay escenas donde una cosita simple – como reírse juntos por una tontera en el juego o un gesto callado de apoyo – te dice muchísimo más que un montón de palabras, esos momentos me parecieron buenísimos porque se sienten súper reales.. no se sienten para nada forzados ni dramáticos, son esos detallitos chiquitos pero honestos que van tejiendo algo bien bonito entre ellos.
A ver, yo sé que lo de la diferencia de edad, ella ya en la universidad y él todavía en la prepa, puede hacer un poco de ruido, pero, ¿saben qué me sorprendió? Cómo el anime maneja esta onda con mucha cabeza, muy maduro.. en vez de ponerle el foco a la diferencia de edad como si fuera EL problema, lo pone en el contexto de hoy: cómo lo digital, las redes, los juegos, pueden como que acortar esas distancias, es como un recordatorio de que a veces el corazón no anda contando años, sino que se fija en la conexión real que hay entre dos personas.. otra cosa que me gustó un montón es que este anime no intenta ser algo que no es, algo inmenso, ¿saben
Tiene sus cositas de las historias de amor de siempre, los clichés que ya conocemos, pero les da una vuelta súper fresca metiendo todo esto de la cultura gamer de ahora.. es como si te dijera: “Sí, ya te sabes esta historia, pero mira, te la voy a contar de una forma más actual y divertida”, y créanme, hay un montón de momentos muy graciosos! Escenas que no te esperas y que te matan de risa, mezclando la vida de la Uni con el desastre de los juegos en línea.. todavía me acuerdo de una escena donde un error en el juego termina siendo un momento tierno entre ellos y me da risa. Son esas sorpresitas las que hicieron que me encantara esta serie una y otra vez, y tengo que decirles, la verdad, que hubo momentos donde me dejó con la boca abierta, superó lo que yo esperaba. Yo entré pensando "ah, otra comedia romántica más y de otakus gamer, super aburrido y sin alma", ¡y nada que ver! Me encontré con una historia más profunda, que te muestra lo bueno y también las cosas difíciles de las relaciones de hoy, esa profundidad, esa emoción así, honesta, a veces se pierde en otras series, pero acá... acá de verdad me llegó.
The animation, look, it’s not the craziest or most spectacular thing in the world, but it has its vibe, it has its charm, it’s constant… how they switch between the game world and real life… they do it really smoothly, but it works, it makes you think about that, yes, digital is super important today, but in the end, what really matters are the connections with people, right? And the drawing, the style, I never felt like it took me out of the story or anything, on the contrary, it feels like part of the whole thing, very natural… of course, nothing is perfect, people, and yes, I had my issues… especially with some secondary characters… like sometimes I wanted to see more of them, especially how they got along in the guild and all that…
So, I give it a… a well-placed 8/10! forgetting those classic things that make these stories always work... if you like well-made romantic comedies, those that get to you, and that also have that gamer touch, don't hesitate to watch this anime, if you're looking for something to disconnect, without stress, something that celebrates the small victories of everyday life and that captures that emotion of new love... ugh! I don't know how much I recommend it, it's like a fresh version of this type of anime, that respects what came before, but enters with good vibes into the madness of our digital age... who knows, right? Maybe after watching it you'll want to jump into an MMO just to see what that mix of virtual adventure and maybe even find the love of your life feels like... and well, that's all for today's review. La animación, miren, no es que sea la cosa más loca o espectacular del mundo, pero tiene su onda, tiene su encanto, es constante.. cómo van cambiando entre el mundo del juego y la vida real.. lo hacen bien suavecito, pero funciona, te deja pensando en eso de que, sí, lo digital es súper importante hoy, pero al final, lo que de verdad importa son las conexiones con la gente, ¿no? Y el dibujo, el estilo, nunca sentí que me sacara de la historia ni nada, al contrario, se siente como parte de todo, muy natural.. claro, nada es perfecto, gente, y sí, tuve mis cositas... sobre todo con algunos personajes secundarios.. como que a veces me quedé con ganas de ver más de ellos, especialmente de cómo se llevaban en el gremio y eso.. Así que, yo le doy un.. un 8/10 bien puesto!
Quizás no es lo más nuevo o revolucionario que van a ver, ni en dibujo ni en la trama, pero tiene un corazón gigante, eso te engancha, es una historia de amor que sabe mezclar bien la risa con la emoción de verdad, y toca el romance desde un lado moderno, pero sin olvidar esas cosas clásicas que hacen que estas historias siempre funcionen.. si a ustedes les gustan las comedias románticas bien hechas, de esas que te llegan, y que además tienen ese toque gamer, no duden en mirar este anime, si andan buscando algo para desconectar, sin estrés, algo que celebre las pequeñas victorias del día a día y que capture esa emoción del amor nuevo... ¡uf!, no saben cómo se las recomiendo, es como una versión fresca de este tipo de animes, que respeta lo de antes, pero le entra con buena onda a las locuras de nuestra época digital.. quién sabe, ¿no? Capaz después de verla les dan ganas de meterse a un MMO nomás para ver qué se siente esa mezcla de aventura virtual y para tal vez encontrar al amor de su vida.. y bueno, hasta aquí la reseña de hoy, nos veremos en las próximas, cuidense!
