Saludos mis Otakus favoritos de @theanimerealm. Hace poco me topé con un film que me resultó una joya. Se trata de La Rosa de Versalles y hoy quiero darles mi opinión sobre esta, ya que me gustó mucho, además de desarrollarse junto a uno de mis personajes históricos favoritos: María Antonieta.
La historia general gira en torno de un personaje llamado Oscar François de Jarjayes, una chica que nació para ser una líder militar de manera innata. Y aunque la historia estuvo tan bien llevada, por un momento creí que estaba basada en hechos reales, pero no es nada más que la adaptación de un personaje ficticio llevado a una historia real.
Y aunque la película me gustó mucho a nivel general, existen algunos aspectos que para mí, simplemente no cuajaron. Sin embargo decidí darle una oportunidad hasta el final porque la trama en sí atrapa en cierto punto.
La trama se desarrolla específicamente en la Francia del Siglo XVIII, es decir, en los años previos y durante la Revolución Francesa. Básicamente cuando María Antonieta arribó a Francia y se convirtió en La Delfina.
En cuanto a los aspectos que no me gustaron del film y aunque estos si están basados en hechos reales, luego de investigar y analizar un poco la historia real de María Antonieta, pude constatar que ser una compradora compulsiva y derrochadora de dinero sin límite alguno, no fue lo que hizo que le cortaran la cabeza.
En realidad este hecho fue como una mínima causa de lo que realmente pasó para que llevaran al extremo a la ruina de Francia y se levantara el pueblo contra sus Reyes para destronarlos y finalmente llegar a ser libres. Lamentablemente en este film animado, pues esa fue la imagen perversa que le dieron a María Antonieta, como la villana y la causa principal de la guerra dentro de la historia.
Y bueno, Lady Oscar como ya dije, es un personaje ficticio pero está inspirado en una persona real que existió justamente en aquel entonces. Su musa de inspiración fue Pierre-Agustín Hulin, un hombre considerado como Revolucionario Francés.
Otro aspecto que no me agradó ni un poquito del film fueron esos momentos musicales que agregaron en TODA la película. Es decir, me recordaron mucho a los musicales de Disney, donde todo era bonito y mágico, lleno de color de rosas, incluso la parte trágica, así que este aspecto para mí, no tuvo el impacto deseado como espectador, lo vi más como fuera de lugar.
Pero bueno, cada director y productor tiene su estilo y por lo que tengo entendido, este film fue hecho para homenajear los 50 años de su lanzamiento como Manga. Y años posteriores, alrededor de los 90, salió la versión animé, la cual no he visto y no creo que vaya a ver luego de ver la película.
Y bueno lo que si me encantó fue el estilo tan de los 80 que tienen los personajes, fue como un toque super clásico que mantuvieron de principio a fin. Los ojos me resultaron algo exagerados con tantas luces que quisieron darle pero bueno, otro aspecto que cae en manos del productor-director.
Por último y lo que tuvo más peso que hizo este film especial para mí fue la trama cargada de drama, una historia de amor poética y una moral patriótica que inspira a ser un buen ciudadano y a querer dar la vida por tu país. Tanto me gustó que enseguida vi el film de María Antonieta, para luego hacer una reseña al respecto. Por mostrar una historia así de linda y tan bien hecha, le otorgo a la película:

Greetings, my favorite Otakus from @theanimerealm. Recently, I came across a film that I found to be a gem. It's The Rose of Versailles and today I want to give you my opinion on this one, since I liked it a lot, plus it takes place next to one of my favorite historical characters: Marie Antoinette.
The overall story revolves around a character named Oscar François de Jarjayes, a girl who was born to be an innate military leader. And although the story was so well paced, for a moment I thought it was based on real events, but it is nothing more than the adaptation of a fictional character brought to a real story.
And although I liked the movie overall, some aspects just didn't click for me. However, I decided to give it a chance until the end because the plot itself is gripping at a certain point.
The plot is set specifically in 18th-century France, that is, in the years leading up to and during the French Revolution. When Marie Antoinette arrived in France and became The Dauphine.
As for the aspects of the film that I did not like and although they are based on real events, after researching and analyzing the real history of Marie Antoinette, I could see that being a compulsive shopper and spendthrift of money without any limit, was not what made them cut her head off.
In reality, this fact was like a minimal cause of what happened, so that they took to the extreme the ruin of France, and the people rose against their Kings to dethrone them and finally become free. Unfortunately, in this animated film, that was the perverse image given to Marie Antoinette, as the villain and the main cause of the war in the story.
And well, Lady Oscar as I said, is a fictional character but is inspired by a real person who existed precisely at that time. Her muse of inspiration was Pierre-Agustin Hulin, a man considered a French Revolutionary.
Another aspect that I didn't like one bit about the film was those musical moments they added in the WHOLE movie. I mean, they reminded me a lot of Disney musicals, where everything was pretty and magical, full of roses, even the tragic part, so this aspect for me didn't have the desired impact as a viewer, I saw it more as out of place.
But well, every director and producer has their style, and from what I understand, this film was made to honor the 50th anniversary of its release as Manga. And years later, around the 90s, the anime version came out, which I haven't seen, and I don't think I'm going to see it after watching the movie.
And what I loved was the '80s style of the characters; it was like a super classic touch that they kept from beginning to end. The eyes were a bit exaggerated with so many lights that they wanted to give, but well, another aspect that falls into the hands of the producer-director.
Lastly and what carried the most weight that made this film special to me was the drama-laden plot, a poetic love story, and a patriotic moral that inspires you to be a good citizen and to want to give your life for your country. So much I liked it that I immediately watched the film of Marie Antoinette, to review it later. For showing a story this cute and so well done, I award the film:
