Television Review: Titans (Season 1, 2018)@drax160d
Marvel Comics can certainly take pride in its cinematic universe, which, despite featuring far less well-known comic book heroes, has without any trouble established total dominance over the film universe of rival publisher DC Comics. On the small screen, however, the story is quite different, given that DC Comics generally fares better than Marvel, whose attempt to create a television universe on Netflix ended in ignominious failure. DC’s superheroes, on the other hand, are far better integrated into their own universe, which began in 2012 with the TV series Arrow, and a new one was being built, whose first cornerstone is the TV series Titans, which premiered in the autumn of 2018.
The creators of the new series are fairly well-known – Oscar-winning film screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, comic book author Geoff Johns, and television producer Greg Berlanti, known for a string of successful series in earlier years. As its basic premise, they decided to use the so-called Teen Titans, a DC Comics superhero team that could most easily be described as a kind of junior league compared to Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the gang. Among them, the most recognisable to the wider public will be Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) alias Robin, a former circus performer whom Bruce Wayne alias Batman adopted and trained after the death of his parents to help him as a masked vigilante in the fight against crime in Gotham City. At the start of the series, however, Grayson does this job in a much more conventional way, namely as a regular detective in the Detroit police force, and is determined to leave his career as a masked avenger behind him, convinced that it, much like his mentor, has made him too violent.
Through a twist of fate, he will become entangled in the case of Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft), an adolescent girl endowed with supernatural and potentially destructive powers, whom an organisation with dark goals is trying to find. She, in turn, will gain Garfield “Gar” Logan (Ryan Potter) as a helper, a teenager capable of transforming into a tiger, while Kory (Anna Diop), a dark-skinned woman suffering from amnesia who often finds herself in awkward situations where she must use her destructive pyrokinesis abilities, joins the search for her.
Like Netflix's series dedicated to superheroes, Titans uses a season format closer to a so-called limited series, so the first season concludes after 11 episodes. This, on one hand, allows for a somewhat smaller budget, a bit more flexibility regarding content and narrative direction, but it also better hides shortcomings that would have begun to grate on viewers far sooner in a traditional season of 20+ episodes. Not that there aren't any here, as anyone familiar with the work of Akiva Goldsman, one of probably the most overrated Hollywood screenwriters, could have assumed beforehand.
The fundamental problem with Titans is, above all, of a conceptual nature. The Teen Titans superhero team in the original comic book was conceived as a kind of softened, adolescent version of superheroes whose life stories, characters, and general tone were supposed to be at least a few shades brighter compared to their adult equivalents. The television version, however, goes in the completely opposite direction – the general tone is far darker compared to Nolan's Batman or Snyder's Superman, something reflected not only through literally dark cinematography (because of which viewers will at times have trouble understanding what is happening), but also darker and more depressive content. This also relates to the "maturity" of the Titans compared to traditional superheroes, for which perhaps the clearest example is the decision to use coarse language, which was even used in promoting the series.
Far more striking, however, will be the explicitness of the violence, namely the various and graphically depicted ways in which people in this show are beaten to death, stabbed, burned alive, or become victims of wild beasts. Because of this, after this season, it is hard to perceive Titans as some kind of "relaxed" series for younger fans of DC Comics or superhero comics.
The very tone of the series might not have stood out so much, or represented a nuisance, had the characters and their subplots been well conceived. In all of this, one can recognise a considerable inconsistency in quality when it comes to individual episodes. The best episodes are those featuring the superhero and romantic couple Hank Hall alias Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dawn Granger alias Dove (Minka Kelly) as supporting characters, or the episode where a tiny breath of fresh air is brought by the guest appearance of the future protagonists of the spin-off series Doom Patrol. But such moments are too few, and the nominal protagonists are as bland as Robin or as irritating as Gar, and the story, despite its relative brevity, unravels too slowly.
The creators of the series seem to have been aware of this, deciding to spice up the final episode by flirting with alternate universes, but here too the series is made incredibly dark, culminating in an "unexpected" twist followed by an even more irritating cliffhanger. Titans might have been interesting perhaps a decade earlier, but fans of superhero content on the big and small screen today have far more numerous and higher-quality alternatives at their disposal.

La segunda temporada la verdad es que abre con un arco narrativo el cual nos presenta a un viejo equipo de Titanes a modo de flashback pero también al equipo actual que se nos presentó en la primera temporada, algo que sí es bastante raro porque de un momento a otro sí nombran al equipo algo que no hicieron el anterior temporada, Pero bueno esto lo consigue resolver mostrando que si hubo un equipo anterior incluso la clásica torre de los Titanes que hemos visto en las series animadas o en los cómics aquí está presente obviamente con un toque mucho más realista, todo el conflicto te traigo la verdad es que se resuelve en un primer episodio y casi que de forma directa estamos en un nuevo arco narrativo, la serie sigue abordando un total tema dramático si es verdad que esta temporada tiene dosis de acción mucho más logradas pero sigue siendo una serie en total de superhéroes y de drama.
The second season opens with a narrative arc which introduces us to an old team of Titans as a flashback but also to the current team that was presented in the first season, something that is quite rare because from one moment to another they do name the team something they did not do in the previous season, But well this manages to solve it showing that if there was a previous team even the classic tower of the Titans that we have seen in the animated series or comics here is obviously present with a much more realistic touch, all the conflict I bring you the truth is that it is resolved in a first episode and almost that directly we are in a new narrative arc, the series continues to address a total dramatic theme if it is true that this season has doses of action much more achieved but it is still a series in total of superheroes and drama.
Creo que como siempre los puntos fuertes en la serie son la narrativa todo el drama que rodea los personajes al punto que muchas secuencias de acción te pueden llegar a gustar pero tú lo que quieres saber es en Cómo se va a ir desenvolviendo la trama los detalles ocultos si bien hay cositas que tú te las puedes llegar a predecir especial es un fan de los cómics creo que para aquellas personas que no están tan en comunión con los cómics quien puede ser toda una total sorpresa lo que esté surgiendo en la trama,en especial porque no agarran literalmente cosas de los cómics más bien se inspiran en ellos y buscan de desarrollar algo de manera nueva, lo único que se puede decir que no me gustó es cómo resolvieron el final de esta segunda temporada y decide si la review de la tercera temporada en este mismo post, porque la verdad es que comienza Hasta cierto punto de manera directa, ya que sí la tercera temporada comienza con este nuevo equipo armado con todos estos personajes que no han estado presentando y todo este arco narrativo del segundo Robin problemático termina de desenvolverse en una tercera temporada.
I think that as always the strong points in the series are the narrative all the drama surrounding the characters to the point that many action sequences you can get to like but what you want to know is how the plot is going to develop the hidden details while there are little things that you can get to predict especially is a fan of the comics I think for those people who are not so in communion with the comics who can be a total surprise what is emerging in the plot, especially because they don't literally take things from the comics but rather they are inspired by them and seek to develop something in a new way, the only thing I can say that I didn't like is how they resolved the end of this second season and decide if the review of the third season in this same post, because the truth is that it begins to some extent directly, since the third season begins with this new team armed with all these characters that have not been presented and all this narrative arc of the second Robin problematic ends to unravel in a third season.
Y recién resolver con el arco de red hood, el cual ha tenido bastantes cambios debo decir pero creo que funcionan bastante bien para lo que va acorde de la serie incluso uno de los personajes antagónicos principal aquí dejo un spoiler resulta ser el espantapájaros, el cual de cierta manera termina el asado a redstone y en Cómo todo este mundo que rodea gota termina afectando a los titanes de cierta forma, Y eso sí a pesar de que en cada temporada aumentan las dosis de acción y aumentan la calidad de los efectos especiales debo decir que sigue siendo igual que la temporada 1 la 2 y la tres sigue abordando exactamente el mismo estilo de drama de superhéroes el cual debo decir que cada vez me está gustando más, Y sí esta tercera temporada termina de manera magnífica abriendo las puertas a una cuarta y última temporada lo cual prontamente estará haciendo otra review, debo decir que si no le han dado una oportunidad esta serie de verdad que deberían hacerlo Eso sí con la mente abierta de que no es una serie que se especialice como tal en la acción sino su foco principal en realidad va más hacia el drama y si te gustan este tipo de dramas mezclado con el tono de superhéroes la verdad es que la vas a disfrutar muchísimo.

En esta primera temporada nos vamos a enfocar mucho en lo que es el arco narrativo de Trigon y Raven, Y es que sí los grandes protagonistas de esta temporada terminan siendo el primer Robin y Raven en este caso es verdad que otros personajes en puesta en escena pero la verdad se siente muy de relleno que simplemente están ahí para complementar ciertos pedazos para llegar al final de la temporada del cual termina teniendo el foco de atención en Dick el primer Robin y obviamente Raven que en este caso la hacen llamar Rachel.

Algo que es un poco extraño Es que la serie se llama Titans en esta primera temporada pero no terminan de decir el nombre como tal del equipo creo que es porque bueno esta temporada se enfoca mucho en reunir al equipo y por lo que he podido saber en una segunda temporada sí como tal tienen el nombre y le dan una excusa todo esto, lo que sí deben entender estas series que si es del género de superhéroes pero tiene mucho de intriga y misterio de ir resolviendo poco a poco todos los pedazos de la historia especialmente enfocados en Raven, en saber el origen de los personajes pero todo a través de un foco más dramático y no tanto en la acción, y esto creo que lo hacen porque esta primera temporada se le nota bastante un bajo presupuesto aunque eso sí la fotografía está súper bien lograda al punto que chico bestia solamente lo veremos transformado en un solo animal en toda la temporada.

Sé que contestó que estoy diciendo puede parecer que las series mala pero no la verdad es es que esta serie enfocada mucho más en el drama pero a la vez teniendo todo este enfoque en los superhéroes la verdad resulta bastante llevadera y creo que puede llegar a gustarle Y sí el final de temporada te abre las puertas una segunda temporada también sé que esta serie salió hace algún tiempo y me habían recomendado bastantes veces y yo puedo decir lo mismo la recomiendo incluso si fueron fanáticos a la serie animada de los titans que salen cartoon network hace tiempo, porque bueno es como verlo a través de una versión mucho más adulta que si termina siendo la verdad es que bastante placentera de ver y Y sí es cierto que tiene uno que otro fallo pero creo que si llega a ser bastante entretenida en sus 11 episodios que dura esta primera temporada.

This time I want to share with you a new review with my opinions about a series that became something very special for me, because it is the love action adaptation of a group of heroes that I am a big fan of... sure many of you saw the Teen Titans series, the animated one, by Cartoon Network... well, this series brings back those characters in a different way, but keeping in a certain part its essence... In this series the idea of a group of young heroes coming together to fight a greater evil is represented again.... Today I will talk to you about the series: Titans.
This series has been quite an experience, as a DC Comics fan I was very excited to see how they would adapt these young titans in live action, the first season manages to hook you with a dark and mature atmosphere that is very different from what many of us were used to seeing the animated series... it's a much more sinister plot than I thought it would be, but that doesn't mean it's not bad.. to see finally adapted the character of Dick Grayson and all his past as Robin was very exciting, I always had a lot of illusion to see this character in a live action adaptation, since he is one of my favorite characters of all the DC universe... I thought his interpretation was very cool, the actor certainly did a great job with this character...
We also have the introduction of characters like Raven (although here she is known as Rachel), Starfire and Beast Boy.. becoming central characters in this series, these characters managed to get me some smile, but, they did not end up being what I thought, although I consider that the series gives them the necessary time to develop and that's good...

En esta ocasión les quiero compartir una nueva reseña con mis opiniones sobre una serie que se convirtió en algo muy especial para mí, ya que es la adaptación love action de un grupo de héroes del que soy muy fan.. seguro muchos de ustedes vieron la serie de Teen Titans, la animada, por Cartoon Network.. bueno, esta serie trae de vuelta a esos personajes de una manera diferente, pero conservando en cierta parte su esencia.. En esta serie se representa de nuevo la idea de un grupo de jóvenes héroes que se reúnen para luchar contra un mal mayor.. Les hablaré hoy de la serie: Titans.
Esta serie ha sido toda una experiencia, yo como fan de DC Comics tenía mucha emoción por ver cómo adaptarían a estos jóvenes titanes en live action, la primera temporada logra engancharte con una atmósfera oscura y madura que es muy diferente a lo que seguramente muchos estábamos acostumbrados al ver la serie animada.. es una trama mucho más siniestra de lo que pensé que sería, pero no por eso deja de ser mala.. ver por fin adaptado el personaje de Dick Grayson y todo su pasado como Robin fue muy emocionante, siempre tuve mucha ilusión de ver a este personaje en una adaptación live action, ya que es uno de mis personajes favoritos de todo el universo de DC.. me pareció muy genial su interpretación, el actor sin duda sé lucio con este personaje..
También tenemos la introducción de personajes como Raven (aunque aquí la conocen como Rachel), Starfire y Chico Bestia.. volviéndose personajes centrales en esta serie, estos personajes lograron sacarme alguna sonrisa, pero, no terminaron siendo lo que yo creía, aunque considero que la serie les da el tiempo necesario para desarrollarse y eso es bueno..
The second season in my opinion was where the series reached its highest point, for me, the second season was the best. The addition of Deathstroke as the main villain was simply masterful, this character without a doubt is one of DC's most interesting.. it was nice to see a more realistic interpretation of him, and seeing how they explored his relationship with the Titans past was great.. i think he is an antagonist that truly feels menacing and complex, this added a lot of depth to the plot.. Most episodes had a lot of focus and this season had several unexpected twists and turns that are sure to surprise more than one....
In this second season, they also introduced many new characters that would later end up joining the core group of heroes. They were characters that I always wanted to see adapted, we are also introduced in this second season the first appearance of Nightwing in live action.. this really meant a lot to me, since I had years waiting to see this character finally adapted, and I think the way they introduce him, although it takes a little while, when they do it is simply spectacular.. I was really excited to see it, I think it has been my favorite episode of the whole series... it was really a pleasure to see many of my favorite characters from the comics come to life in this series... but, unfortunately, life can't be perfect. Going to the end of the season itself, I think they make one of the biggest screw-ups I've ever seen in a superhero series, and I was really disappointed...
La segunda temporada en mi opinión fue donde la serie alcanzó su punto más alto, para mi, la segunda temporada fue la mejor. La incorporación de Deathstroke como villano principal fue simplemente magistral, este personaje sin duda es de los más interesantes de DC.. fue agradable ver una interpretación de él más real, y ver como exploraron su relación con el pasado de los Titans fue genial.. creo que es un antagonista que verdaderamente se siente amenazante y complejo, esto añadió mucha profundidad a la trama.. La mayoría de capítulos tuvieron mucha atención y esta temporada tuvo varios giros inesperados que seguro sorprenderán a más de uno..
En esta segunda temporada, también introdujeron muchos personajes nuevos que posteriormente terminarían uniéndose al grupo de héroes central. Fueron personajes que siempre quise ver adaptados, también se nos presenta en esta segunda temporada la primera aparición de Nightwing en live action.. esto en verdad significó mucho para mí, ya que tenía años esperando ver a este personaje finalmente adaptado, y creo que la manera de introducirlo, aunque tarda un poco, cuando lo hacen es simplemente espectacular.. la verdad me emocioné mucho al verlo, creo que ha sido mi capítulo favorito de toda la serie.. realmente fue un gusto ver a muchos de mis personajes favoritos de los cómics cobrar vida en esta serie.. pero, lastimosamente, la vida no puede ser perfecta. Yéndonos al final de la temporada en sí, creo que hacen una de las mayores cagadas que he visto en una serie de superhéroes, y esto realmente me decepcionó bastante..
And as the third season arrives, everything starts to fall apart little by little...and you start to notice a lot of flaws in this new season, although the introduction of characters like Red Hood, Barbara Gordon and the exploration of Gotham City as such were interesting, the narrative really starts to lose its focus. . you can see how things begin to decay in terms of plot quality, although there were some interesting moments, I think what most rescued this season was the dynamic between team members... this was what, in a way, could lift a little this third season... Then came the fourth and last season, and here was where things got complicated to the point of disappointing me... it really hurt me, because, as I said, it was a series that presented a very interesting premise and a world building with characters that give for much more...
But it seems that the writers didn't know very well how to conclude all the plots that had been established or how to bring these characters in a better story, on the contrary, they gave us quite a few episodes that seemed like filler, things that were trying to be resolved in too little time, things that didn't make much sense.... Although interesting little things were seen in this last season, it really ended up leaving me with a very strange taste in my mouth, the only thing I would rescue from this season is the whole arc of Beast Boy, the exploration about his powers and how it feels like this character really evolved, although I felt that this development couldn't be fully explored, because, as I tell you, the plot becomes very hard to follow and quite irregular, it was also interesting to see Superboy's arc and how he has to deal with his genetic inheritance... they are really good premises, but they don't end up exploding as they should have done, it's a shame, because I really had faith that this series would go out with a bang, and it wasn't the case...
Y al llegar la tercera temporada, se empieza poco a poco a todo a desmoronar.. se empiezan a notar bastantes fallas en esta nueva temporada, aunque la introducción de personajes como Red Hood, Bárbara Gordon y la exploración de Ciudad Gótica como tal fueron interesantes, realmente la narrativa empieza a perder su foco.. se nota como las cosas empiezan a decaerse en cuanto a calidad argumentativa, aunque hubo algunos momentos interesantes, creo que lo que más rescató a esta temporada fue la dinámica entre los miembros del equipo.. esto fue lo que, de cierta manera, pudo levantar un poco esta tercera temporada... Luego llegaría la cuarta y última temporada, y aquí fue donde las cosas ya se complicaron al punto de llegar a decepcionarme.. realmente me dolió, porque, como les dije, era una serie que presentaba una premisa muy interesante y una construcción de mundo con unos personajes que dan para mucho más..
Pero parece que los escritores no sabían muy bien cómo concluir todas las tramas que se habían establecido o cómo llevar a estos personajes en una historia mejor, al contrario, nos dieron bastantes episodios que parecían relleno, cosas que se intentaban resolver en demasiado poco tiempo, cosas que no tenían mucho sentido.. Aunque se vieron pequeñas cosas interesantes en esta última temporada, realmente acabó dejándome con un sabor de boca muy extraño, lo único que rescataría de esta temporada es todo el arco de Chico Bestia, la exploración sobre sus poderes y cómo se siente que este personaje realmente evolucionó, aunque sentí que este desarrollo no se pudo explorar completamente, porque, como les digo, la trama se vuelve muy difícil de seguir y bastante irregular.. también fue interesante ver el arco de Superboy y cómo este tiene que lidiar con su herencia genética.. son premisas realmente buenas, pero que no terminan de explotar como deberían haberlo hecho, es una lástima, ya que realmente tenía fe de que esta serie se fuera por todo lo alto, y no fue el caso..
Among the things that I did like, I have to applaud the work of the cast throughout the series... Brenton Twight did an excellent job giving life to Dick Grayson, showing all his evolution from a tormented Robin to a confident leader capable of doing whatever it takes to keep his team and his loved ones well, I think he was a character who really gave his all in this series... I also really liked Starfire, from season 2 onwards this character conveys a lot of charisma and depth, it's ideal in a character that really many times goes very unnoticed in the other media... here they gave her a lot more development and I think the personality of this new Starfire is great and fun. Also Rachel does a good job transmitting all that darkness to the series, she is one of my favorite characters too... I was a big fan of her interpretation, although she didn't end up being what I thought she would be.. it was interesting to see this new facet of the character... I think they knew how to adapt all her origins and the relationship with her father in a good and understandable way, although already in the last seasons it seemed that her character didn't have a clear direction... it's a pity.
Also characters like Beast Boy, Donna Troy, Superboy, among many more, I think they were the best of the series, their characterizations, their team dynamics.. the best of the series is to see these young people interact, and it is something rare that the best of a superhero series are the moments of peace, so to speak, but I feel that they transmitted in certain occasions a brotherly love that is very characteristic of the titans... Visually, it's very acceptable, the special effects, while not always perfect, were much more decent than what many would expect from a TV series... There were moments where I would have liked the powers of these heroes to shine much more, but it's understandable that due to budget issues it couldn't be achieved at all.. the few times we see some special effects they really know how to handle it and it feels real, it doesn't feel fake.
Entre las cosas que sí me han gustado, cabe decir que tengo que aplaudir el trabajo del elenco a lo largo de la serie.. Brenton Twight hizo un excelente trabajo dando vida a Dick Grayson, mostrando toda su evolución desde un Robin atormentado hasta un líder seguro y capaz de hacer lo que sea por mantener bien a su equipo y a sus seres queridos, creo que realmente fue un personaje que lo dio todo en esta serie.. También me gustó mucho Starfire, a partir de la segunda temporada este personaje transmite mucha carisma y profundidad, es ideal en un personaje que realmente muchas veces pasa muy desapercibido en los otros medios.. aquí le dieron mucho más desarrollo y creo que la personalidad de esta nueva Starfire es genial y divertida. También Rachel hace un buen trabajo transmitiendo toda esa oscuridad a la serie, es de mis personajes favoritos también.. fui muy fan de su interpretación, aunque no terminó siendo lo que yo pensé que sería.. fue interesante ver esta nueva faceta del personaje.. creo que supieron adaptar todos sus orígenes y la relación con su padre de una manera buena y entendible, aunque ya en las últimas temporadas parecía que su personaje no tenía una dirección clara.. es una lástima.
También personajes como Chico Bestia, Donna Troy, Superboy, entre muchos más, opino que fueron de lo mejor de la serie, sus caracterizaciones, sus dinámicas en equipo.. lo mejor de la serie es ver a estos jóvenes interactuar, y es algo raro que lo mejor de una serie de superhéroes sean los momentos de paz, por así decirlo, pero siento que transmitían en ciertas ocasiones un amor fraternal que es muy característico de los titanes.. Visualmente, es muy aceptable, los efectos especiales, aunque no siempre son perfectos, fueron mucho más decentes que lo que muchos esperarían de una serie de televisión.. Hubieron momentos en los que me hubiera gustado que los poderes de estos héroes brillaran mucho más, pero es entendible que debido a cuestiones de presupuesto no se podía lograr de todo.. las pocas veces que vemos algunos efectos especiales realmente saben manejarlo y se siente real, no se siente falso.
And well, one of the best things this series has were the costumes of the young heroes, this was a very high point, as they have that balance between fidelity to the comics and a realistic and functional look... many will agree with me if they already knew these characters, and is that the fidelity of the costumes is something that is much appreciated in the superhero genre. . it was enough to keep me watching the series, as it is great to see these characters fighting crime, there are also mature and dark themes focused on some parts of the characters that were really enjoyable, sure they can make many reflect... Although at times I felt that the series itself went a bit overboard in its attempt to be adult, and I think if they had embraced a bit more of the nice, comedic, lighter side.. of their comic book counterparts or other adaptations, I think things would have turned out much better...
I think this series was a complete roller coaster for me.. it started off strong, reached very interesting heights, but ended up descending little by little until it was time to damage part of the experience.. it really left me with a rather bittersweet taste, although despite its flaws, I can't help but feel that Titans became a series that stayed with me for several years, and I can even say that it became my guilty pleasure, since even with the low quality that its last seasons had, I couldn't stop watching it and looked forward to each episode week after week.. I think watching such iconic characters dragged all the desire to know what was going to happen in the next episodes, not especially because the plot or storyline was good per se, but I think unlike other superhero series, here the teamwork is really explored in certain episodes... Aunque a veces sentí que la serie misma se excedía un poco en su intento de ser adulta, y pienso que si fueran abrazado un poco más el lado agradable, cómico, ligero.. de sus contrapartes de los cómics o otras adaptaciones, creo que las cosas hubieran resultado mucho mejor..
Creo que esta serie fue una completa montaña rusa para mí.. comenzó fuerte, alcanzó alturas muy interesantes, pero terminó descendiendo poco a poco hasta el tiempo de daña parte de la experiencia.. realmente me dejó con un sabor bastante agridulce, aunque a pesar de sus fallas, no puedo evitar sentir que Titans se volvió una serie que me acompañó durante varios años, e incluso puedo decir que se convirtió en mi gusto culposo, ya que aún con la baja calidad que tenían sus últimas temporadas, no pude evitar dejar de verla y esperaba cada capítulo semana tras semana.. Creo que ver a estos personajes tan icónicos arrastraban todas las ganas de saber qué era lo que iba a pasar en los próximos capítulos, no especialmente porque el argumento o la trama fuera buena en sí, pero creo que a diferencia de otras series de superhéroes, aquí se explora realmente el trabajo en equipo en ciertos episodios.. creo que tanto los buenos momentos como los momentos de desacuerdo entre los miembros se sienten bastante auténticos, añaden mucho más drama, pero en el buen sentido..

The first two seasons were outstanding... the third began to decline and although it had its good moments it did not end up convincing many... and the fourth I think it fell completely and lost sight of the central axis that moved this series in its beginnings.
But well, it's a series that I think is worth watching for fans of DC superheroes... it offers a unique and mature vision of some interesting characters with solid performances and a production that feels quality... although its ending didn't live up to its beginning, I think the journey can be very satisfying. Esta serie también hizo un gran trabajo incorporando ciertos easter eggs que estaban dispersos por toda la serie, esto fue agradable para los fans de los cómics, ya que permitía tener una visión más grande del mundo.. se sentía genial, la verdad, conocer pequeñas pistas, situaciones o menciones que podrían llegar a pasar desapercibidas, pero el hecho de entenderlas, por así decirlo, era bastante agradable. También otro punto a su favor es que Titans se atreve a mostrar todas aquellas consecuencias psicológicas que conllevan ser un superhéroe, todo el trauma, la culpa y el estrés postraumático que alguno de los personajes tiene se siente real y brinda una dimensión más realista y humana a estos personajes con poderes sobrehumanos... ya que muchas personas podrían pensar que los héroes no tienen problemas personales o emocionales, y esto no tiene por qué ser así.
También la cinematografía en algunos aspectos resalta bastante, considero que hay ciertas tomas que pasarían fácilmente por una película de cines.. realmente considero que se esforzaron en esto. En cuanto a la calificación yo le daría a esta serie un 7.8/10. Las primeras dos temporadas fueron sobresalientes.. la tercera empezó a decaer y aunque tuvo sus buenos momentos no terminó de convencer a muchos.. ya la cuarta creo que se cayó completamente y se perdió de vista el eje central que movía a esta serie en sus principios.
Pero bueno, es una serie que considero que vale la pena ver para los fanáticos de los superhéroes de DC.. ofrece una visión única y madura de unos personajes interesantes con actuaciones sólidas y una producción que se siente de calidad.. aunque su final no estuvo a la altura de su comienzo, creo que el viaje puede llegar a ser muy satisfactorio. Hola a todos. Aquí les traigo mi primera reseña subida a Youtube de la serie de DC Comics, TITANS. Ya la había subido pero decidí hacerlo algunos arreglos para volverla a subir.
Según mi punto de vista, es una muy buena serie aunque con ciertas fallas que la dañan. En el video puedes ver sus puntos buenos y malos.

Nel panorama televisivo attuale c'è una continua espansione delle piattaforme streaming. Netflix è stata visionaria e pioniera ed oggi anche le tv più classiche sono state costrette dal mercato ad approcciare al medium televisivo in maniera differente.
A questo fenomeno si è affiancato quello dei grandi marchi tecnologici come Apple e Facebook che si son date da fare per creare i loro canali streaming.
Terzo e ultimo filone è quello che vede le grandi case cinematografiche e fumettistiche entrare a gamba tesa in questo mondo. Ad aprile Disney lancerà Disney + che racchiuderà tra le altre cose anche tanti titoli lagati agli eroi Marvel.
Dal Novembre 2018 è stato lanciato il canale streaming della grande rivale della Marvel ovvero la DC Comics. La piattaforma è stata denominata DC Universe e seppur in sordina ha anticipato la sorella fumettistica di qualche mese puntando su una serie tv tanto ambiziosa quanto rischiosa: Titans.
Tratta come è ovvio dai fumetti della DC Comics essa si articola in 11 episodi di durata di circa 40 minuti e che fa convogliare al suo interno una valanga di personaggi noti dei fumetti. A tessere la trama c'è Greg Berlanti, avvezzo a trattare di supereroi in tv grazie alla creazione di Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl e tutti gli altri eroi DC appartenenti al franchise CW. Lì il taglio è stato, per esigenze commerciali e di canale, molto da teen drama, con pieghe spesso mielose e leggere che poco si prestano forse ad ambientazioni e personaggi molto più drammatici come il velocista scarlatto o freccia verde.
Con Titans Berlanti avrebbe avuto mano libera da condizionamenti ed esigenze di "canale". DC Universe gli ha fondamentalmente dato carta bianca per creare da zero il primo prodotto della casa DC seriale.
Il protagonista della storia è Dick Grayson. Un nome che infiammerà i cuori dei lettori dei fumetti. E' lui, il primo e più importante "Robin" ad essere il centro ed il motore delle azioni che vedremo negli 11 episodi.
Il suo è un percorso umano molto cupo, doloroso e difficile, quello di un ragazzo che ne ha passate tante e che ha deciso di abbandonare Batman per allontanarsi dall'oscurità che oramai avvolge il Cavaliere Oscuro. Ma questa oscurità quanto ha pervaso oramai l'animo di Dick? Riuscirà a salvarsi e salvaguardare la sua coscienza? Ci prova. Ci prova maledettamente. Il passato però ritorna a causa di un incontro con una ragazzina come Rachel che sarà ribattezzata poi come una potenziale "Distruttrice dei mondi". La bisettrice lunga 11 episodi toccherà storie e personaggi che ci faranno drizzare le antenne. Parliamo di Doom Patrol, Wonder Girl, le Amazzoni, Superman, Jason Todd, Joker, l'enigmista e tanti altri. Non li vedremo tutti ma molti saranno una ricorrente presenza nei discorsi e nelle scelte dei protagonisti.
Ovviamente, ma comunque a sorpresa, Batman è sempre presente nei discorsi lunghi 11 puntate. Il fantasma dell'uomo pipistrello aleggia continuamente fino a palesarsi nell'episodio conclusivo dove vediamo finalmente il cavaliere oscuro in scena. Non parla. Non si mostra in viso ma vederlo muoversi, agitarsi, colpire e affondare fa venire i brividi. Ed è proprio l'episodio finale il fiore all'occhiello dell'operazione Titans. In questo episodio non solo vediamo Batman ma lo vediamo in una veste mai vista che non vi racconto per non spoilerare. Ed è su questo magnifico episodio che possiamo capire come Titans rappresenti una grandissima serie raggiungendo vette che solo il primo Daredevil aveva raggiunto.
L'atmosfera è cupa. I personaggi tridimensionali e tormentati. Le scelte scenografiche e narrative coraggiose e virtuose.
Non c'è spazio per i clichè o per la leggerezza vuota di altri prodotti. Si spinge sull'acceleratore prendendosi le dovute pause e scandendo un ritmo mai forsennato che tende ad accelerare nei momenti chiave.
La scommessa della DC Universe è stata vinta, ora ci toccherà capire se Titans è un bell'inizio a cui seguirà poco o se è la dichiarazione di intenti di una rete che vuole entrare prepotentemente tra i grandi colossi dello streaming.

Muy buenas gente de steemit, hace poco salio el capitulo 11 de la primera temporada de Titans, un capitulo que me dejo asombrado y quiero hablar sobre el y también para los que no sepan de esta serie se animen a verla, la verdad, no perderán su tiempo.
SINOPSIS
El capitulo empieza con Dick Grayson Descansando en una piscina, siendo interrumpido por un niño, Dick lo persigue jugando con él hasta entrar en la casa, donde se encuentra Dawn embarazada acomodando algunas cosas, luego reciben una llamada de Rachel y Gar desde la universidad y al poco tiempo, llega Jason Todd, pidiendo ayuda a Dick para salvar a Batman.
Mientras Dick intenta decidir si ayudar a Batman o no, muchos sucesos suceden, es una prueba para que Dick acepte o deje ir su oscuridad, la prueba se la hace Trigon, el padre de Rachel liberado en el capitulo anterior, Dick al final decidió que hacer... una decisión que le cambiara la vida.
OPINIÓN
El capitulo me resulto realmente entretenido, me gustó como las cosas cambian cuando Dick decide renunciar a ayudar a Batman, todo para que se haga al modo que Trigon quiere. Lo que realmente no le doy un 10/10 es la animación en CGI, aun no han mejorado eso, se sabe en varias escenas cuando son hechas por computadora y no son actuadas, cuando muestran a Batman (O lo intentan mostrar) se nota.
El Joker que muestran en el capitulo es muy similar al Joker de Jack Nicholson, aunque no lo mostraron completamente, su vestir y maquillaje se me hizo muy parecido al antiguo Joker del 89.
A parte la escena final post creditos, muestran algo que realmente no me lo esperaba al menos en esta temporada de Titans, que es la aparición de Superboy y el que parece ser Krypto. Superboy es un clon de Superman hecho por Lex Luthor y Krypto es el perro de Superman, con los mismos poderes que Superman.

Hace ya unas semanas se dio a estrenar la serie Titans, que habla de los personajes de DC Comics que pertenecen a un grupo llamado los Teen Titans, Los principales integrantes son Robin, Starfire, Raven, Chicho Bestia y Cyborg. En esta nueva serie Live Action del grupo no esta integrado el personaje de Cyborg, pero en los 3 capítulos que han salido estas semanas, ya se dan a conocer a los otros integrantes, hoy vengo a dar mi opinión acerca de la serie.
Los personajes que se han dado a conocer hasta ahora son: Robin, Starfire, Raven y Chico Bestia. Por los momentos Robin es mi favorito, tiene ese aire de líder testarudo al estilo Batman, siento que claramente se muestra como es realmente, un líder, aunque necesita trabajar el trabajo en equipo con otros, pero estoy seguro que tendrá un buen desenvolvimiento en la serie, ahora este Robin (Dick Grayson) esta distanciado de Batman, tal vez en un futuro no muy lejano lo veamos como Nightwing.
Raven: Raven la muestran como una adolescente con problemas mas que todo, la chica por ahora llamada Rachel es muy curiosa, glotona, no tiene mucha confianza con muchos, solo la muestran como una adolescente tal y como dije, no sabe nada de sus poderes al parecer así que no podremos ver a la típica Raven que controla sus poderes y meditaba todo el tiempo como en la serie animada, aunque ahora puede que no tenga buena pinta, tal vez se convierta en un gran personaje.
Starfire: Kory Anders, una chica que no recuerda quien es ni sabe que esta haciendo, despierta en un accidente de auto y escapa de unas personas que desean asesinarla, tratando de resolver los misterios de quien es ella, simplemente se consigue con mas misterios, por alguna razón busca a Rachel y, sin saber mucho al respecto, la busca para saber si así puede conseguir respuesta de quien es ella. El personaje como tal no es para nada parecido a Starfire, no solo por su color de piel si no por su esencia, Starfire es gentil, inocente, dulce, Kory Anders de Titans, no lo es ni de cerca, y su vestimenta pues no es algo que ayude mucho, se dice que Starfire se viste de esa manera, pero realmente al menos para mi, no le luce a la actriz que la interpreta, no puedo decir que la actriz es fea, solo que su vestimenta, no creo que sea ni siquiera la adecuada para ella como tal.
Chico Bestia: De este personaje si no puedo decir mucho ya que ha salido pocas veces, en los trailers se mostraba como es él, divertido, intrépido, todo un personaje, en el primer capitulo se le da a ver convirtiéndose en Tigre y robando un videojuego de una tienda, la verdad se parece a él por los momentos al menos en actitud, sin mencionar que en el capitulo de esta semana, el capitulo 3 muestra un pequeño coqueteo con Rachel y los que saben de Teen Titans saben que Raven y Chico Bestia tienen un pequeño romance, tendremos que verlo en acción.
Estos Teen Titans no son para nada como lo que hemos visto anteriormente, pero tal vez de esta manera nos sorprendamos mas al ver como se desenvuelven nuevos personajes y no los que conocemos normalmente, hasta ahora Titans ha superado mis expectativas enormemente, no pensé que me atraparía y quisiera ver mas, realmente me gusta y espero que todo siga mejorando.
Me encanta que nombren otros personajes, como Bruce Wayne o Alfred, por los momentos solo lo nombran a ellos, pero esto quiere decir que posiblemente hagan una serie para Batman o las series ya hechas de Warners de algunos personajes de DC Comics, como lo son Green Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Constantine, la serie Gotham que muestran a un Bruce Wayne mas pequeño, la serie DC Legends of tomorrow mostrando a todo un equipo completo, tal vez todo se una o simplemente DC empezara un universo desde cero, empezando con la creación de Titans.
En cuanto a la producción, algunos efectos se ven pobres, como Dick escapando de la mansión Wayne, alguno que otro error cuando muestran a Rachel y su demonio interno, la transformación de Chico Bestia no me convence del todo tampoco, pero espero todo se mejore y se convierta en una serie de admirar.

Минувшей ночью ознакомился с пилотным эпизодом и рад поделиться первыми впечатлениями.

Школьница Рэйчел "Рейвен" Рот (Тиган Крофт) видит странные сны, иногда получает предостережения от собственного отражения и чувствует, что очень сильно отлчается от своих сверстников. Однажды, вернувшись домой после уроков, она становится свидетельницей убийства своей матери и сбегает в Детройт, где судьба сводит ее с молодым детективом Диком Грейсоном (Брентон Туэйтс).
Грейсон не только талантливый детектив, но и сбежавший из Готэма помощник Бэтмена - Робин. Социопат с обостренным чувством справедливости, предпочитающий радикальные методы борьбы с преступностью и совершенно не сдерживающий себя по части применения грубой физической силы.
Тем временем, по другую сторону Атлантического океана, в Австрии, богатая красотка Кори Андерсон (Анна Диоп) приходит в себя после автомобильной катастрофы,пытается вернуть себе память, и эти поиски приводят ее к фото Рэйчел - "девочки, которую наконец-то нашли".

Стоит сказать, я не большой специалист по комиксам DC, но знаком с основными действующими лицами издательства и долгое время не мог определиться стоит ли вообще обращать внимание на "Титанов". Предыдущие телевизионные проекты DC и в частности масштабная вселенная "Стрелы", настравивала на молодежное, наглухо зацензуренное шоу, с недорогими эффектами, посредственной актерской игрой ("Стрелу" я бросил на втором сезоне, а "Флеш" так и восе на 7-ой или 8-ой серии), но узнав о том, что к проекту привлечено немало известных Голливудских авторов все же решил дать ему шанс.
Во-первых - адаптация оригинального комикса от Акивы Голдсмана - сценариста фантастического боевика "Я робот", соавтора Рона Ховарда на невероятных "Играх Разума" и "Нокдауне", а так же, одного из авторов фантастического эпика "Грань". Во-вторых - ведущим постановщиком "Титанов" значится Брэд Андерсон, с подачи которого Кристиан Бейл худел в "Машинисте", а триллеры "Тревожный вызов" и "Обитель проклятых" впору называть настоящей классикой 2010-х. Ну и наконец - незадолго до официальной премьеры в сети появились первые отзывы с предварительных показов и рецензенты в один голос твердят, что корни "Титанов" растут не из вселенной "Стрелы", а скоре из культовой трилогии Кристофера "наше всё" Нолана.
Не знаю как вам, а меня эти факторы настроили на лучшее и в коем-то веке готов целиком и полностью согласиться с мнением зарубежных коллег (в последнее время слишком много внимания уделяющих расизму, феминизму и толерантности). "Титаны" - это на 99% Нолан. Мрачное шоу, с обилием кровищи, ненормативной лексикой, крепко поставленными боевыми сценами, нервом и тяжелой, нагнетающей атмосферу цветовой гаммой. Отталкиваяь от одного лишь часового пилота мне уже хочется называть его "лучшим супергеройским сериалом 2018".

Безусловно, еще одним плюсом шоу стали новые лица. Брентон Туэйтс отлично справляется с ролью Робина (и, уверен, еще себя ого-го как покажет), а дебютантка Тиган Крофт (которой всего 14 лет), так вообще показывает отличный уровень актерской игры и мне кажется, что образ "Рейвен" прекрасно бы вписался во вселенную мутантов "Людей Икс" (хоть это и "чужая" вотчина). Про эффектный выход Анны Диоп под "I feel Love" Донны Саммер вообще молчу - тут лучше один раз увидеть.
Впереди у "Титанов" еще 11 эпизодов, погружение в мистику с демонами и сверхспособностями, но не сомневаюсь, что создатели сериала будут стараться на всем его протяжении придерживаться заданной, довольно высокой планке качества.
