Siempre han existido proyectos que traten de copiar el éxito que ha conseguido un juego de vídeo, la mayoría de las veces esto no funciona, no se respeta el material original, no se hace buenas interpretaciones de los personajes que protagonizan estos juegos, no hay una buena producción y otras cosas más, muchos de estos proyectos que fallan son versiones de acción-real; un gran número de películas y alguna que otra serie no obtienen buenos resultados y eso hace que se pierda la esperanza de ver un buen trabajo, pero hay un medio que parece que todavía no es explotado cómo debe ser y ese es el de la animación, creo que si quieren evolucionar las historias de los juegos al cine o series creo que se debe aprovechar las ventajas que da hacer imágenes muchos más atractivas que sorprendan a todos, justamente esto lo he visto en la serie original de Netflix, que tiene la libertad de contar la lucha entre el bien y el mal, con matices dramáticos, terrorífico, algo de humor y mucha acción.

There have always been projects that try to copy the success that a video game has achieved, most of the time this does not work, no respect for the original material, no good interpretations of the characters who star in these games, no good production and other things more, many of these projects that fail are action-real versions; a great number of movies and some other series do not get good results and that makes us lose hope of seeing a good work, but there is a medium that seems that it is still not exploited as it should be and that is animation, I think that if they want to evolve the stories of the games to film or series I think they should take advantage of the advantages of making much more attractive images that surprise everyone, just this I have seen in the Netflix original series, which has the freedom to tell the struggle between good and evil, with dramatic nuances, horror, some humor and lots of action.
"Castlevania", serie original de Netflix tuvo una duración de 4 temporadas conformada por 32 episodios con una duración de 30 minutos, su historia es basada en el famoso juego de vídeo de Konami que recibe el mismo nombre, en toda su historia se relata de cómo Vlad Drácula conoce al amor de su eterna vida y la ve perder en las manos de fanáticos religiosos, esto hace que Drácula enfoque toda su ira contra todos dándoles un año de vida antes de comenzar una guerra que traerá la extinción de cada humano en la tierra, pero la humanidad tiene la esperanza de ser defendida por alguien que representa a un símbolo y familia que fue desterrada por los mismo fanáticos religiosos que le hicieron daño a Drácula, Trevor Belmont, él junto a Sypha Belnades una sacerdotisa muy poderosa y al llamado "Soldado Durmiente", entre ellos tres deberán hacer frente a Drácula junto a su poderoso ejército y poner fin al apocalipsis.

Esta serie estrenada en el año 2017 y que finalizó en mayo de este año, es fiel en mayor parte a tres diferentes etapas o partes del vídeo juego, para quien soy fans del juego de vídeo encontrarán muchas referencias, pero para las personas que nunca han jugado en ningún momento Castlevania (como yo) también podrán sentirse atraídos por esta gran historia; las primeras dos temporadas son fáciles de ver, una compuesta por tan solo 4 episodios que sirve de introducción a personajes y toda la situación que deberán enfrentar tanto héroes como los villanos, creo que esto es algo importante en esta serie porque no solo el trío de héroes deben enfrentar tan gran amenaza sino el mismo Drácula deberá lidiar con una lucha de poderes ya que existe los que se quieren beneficiar de la tristeza, rabia que tiene el vampiro más poderoso del mundo, sin duda que me hizo recordar a otras series en dónde el ser más poderoso no te evita tener falsos seguidores y sí mucho enemigos, sin ninguna duda las dos primeras temporadas son muy bien escritas, con animaciones muy buenas, entretenidas y todo gracias a la gran cantidad de buenos personajes.
Las últimas dos temporadas son altamente diferentes, pero en dónde creo que no se complementa muy bien la historia con la animación, con esto no digo que sean de menor calidad con los primeros 14 episodios que conforman la temporadas 1 y 2, sino que la diferencia está en que en la tercera se fomenta la base para lo que será el desenlace en su última temporada, la tercera es lenta con respecto a sus antecesoras, es mejor escrita y desarrollada, la introducción de personajes nuevos será lo necesario para poder entender que sucede al final de esta historia, lo importante es la evolución de muchos personajes, en especial Belmont, Sypha y Alucard, es importante ver en qué se transforman y que son capaces de hacer cuando no están juntos; en estas dos últimas temporadas entendí que ellos son importantes, sus historias lo son, otras cosas que suceden con otros personajes tal vez no son desarrolladas como deben hacer, más que nada en la última y eso me pareció que le quita importancia a diferentes situaciones que se fueron desarrollando y pensaba que sería algo más, pero tal vez Netflix, productores no quisieron que hubiera una temporada más y decidieron finiquitar todo en una cuarta y última temporada, que a pesar de tener ese fallo en terminar de forma abrupta historias de personajes secundarios, se enfoca en lo principal y lo hace de muy buena forma.

The last two seasons are highly different, but where I think the story is not complemented very well with the animation, with this I do not say that they are of lower quality with the first 14 episodes that make up the seasons 1 and 2, but the difference is that in the third the basis for what will be the denouement in his last season is promoted, the third is slow compared to its predecessors, it is better written and developed, the introduction of new characters will be necessary to understand what happens at the end of this story, the important thing is the evolution of many characters, especially Belmont, Sypha and Alucard, it is important to see what they become and what they are capable of doing when they are not together; in these last two seasons I understood that they are important, their stories are, other things that happen with other characters maybe are not developed as they should do, especially in the last one and that seemed to me that it takes away importance to different situations that were developing and I thought it would be something more, but maybe Netflix, producers did not want there to be one more season and decided to end everything in a fourth and final season, which despite having that failure in ending abruptly stories of secondary characters, focuses on the main and does it in a very good way.
La animación es impresionante, a pesar de ser un proyecto americano, no hay ninguna duda la gran influencia de anime en el diseño de cada uno de sus personajes, como describí anteriormente creo que al hacer estás historias basadas en vídeo juego en un formato de animación es lo que debe suceder siempre, más cuando son historias llenas de elementos fantásticos, los diseños de las criaturas de la noche junto a los vampiros es algo que me gustó mucho, es impresionante ver la mayoría de las imágenes hechas en momentos importantes de esta historia, por ejemplo lo que sucede tanto en su primer episodio como en el último es algo que no podía creer y sabía que era imposible hacerlo en una versión real, disfrute mucho de excelentes escenas de combates, muy gráficas, violentas, rápidas, se nota que las personas que escribieron y diseñaron esas escenas querían mostrar lo que seguramente muchos fans de este vídeo juego querían ver y espero que ninguno se sienta decepcionado por cómo se diseñó todo lo que vemos en Castlevania.
The animation is impressive, despite being an American project, there is no doubt the great influence of anime in the design of each of its characters, as I described above I think that making these stories based on video game in an animation format is what should always happen, more when they are stories full of fantastic elements, the designs of the creatures of the night along with the vampires is something that I liked a lot, it is impressive to see most of the images made in important moments of this story, for example what happens both in its first episode and in the last one is something that I could not believe and I knew it was impossible to do in a real version, I enjoyed a lot of excellent combat scenes, very graphic, violent, fast, you can tell that the people who wrote and designed those scenes wanted to show what surely many fans of this video game wanted to see and I hope no one is disappointed by how everything we see in Castlevania was designed.
Sin ninguna duda me divertí viendo esta serie, me di un buen tiempo para verla completa desde el momento que se estrenó su última temporada y creo que fue un buena decisión, disfrute de la evolución de sus personajes principales, del terror que muestra está historia, esto es algo que hay que resaltar de lo grotesco del diseño de muchos monstruos, lo gráfico de muchas escenas, lo crueles que llegan a ser muchos personajes, esto es algo que resalta lo que hace Belmont y Sypha al acabar con tan gran número de enemigos, porque todo es grandioso en la victoria, pero es triste cuando no se puede salvar a todos y es que si debo dar un mejor consejo al ver esta serie es que se enfoquen en la historia de estos tres personajes principales, Trevor Belmont, Sypha y Alucard, de ellos es que en verdad es está historia que se origina por cómo se le rompe el corazón a nada más y nada menos a Drácula por perder el verdadero amor, esto es algo que me gusta porque de un desamor nace una historia terrorífica, violenta, sin ninguna esperanza y llena de miedo, esto es lo que deben experimentar la mayoría de los personajes y que los lleva tomar decisiones y acometer actos que podrá afectar o salvar a todos. Espero que vean esta serie, si hay algo que admiro junto a sus tres protagonistas (los cuales son mis personajes favoritos) es la animación, más que nada en las escenas de las batallas, yo estaba completamente fascinado, son sorprendentes, de las mejores que he visto, así que, si quieren ver una buena historia animada enfocada en el público adulto, entonces deben ver Castlevania.
Without any doubt I had fun watching this series, I gave myself a good time to see it complete from the moment it premiered its last season and I think it was a good decision, enjoy the evolution of its main characters, the terror that shows this story, this is something to highlight the grotesque design of many monsters, the graphic of many scenes, how cruel they become many characters, this is something that highlights what makes Belmont and Sypha to end such a large number of enemies, because everything is great in victory, but it is sad when you can not save everyone and if I have to give a better advice to see this series is to focus on the story of these three main characters, Trevor Belmont, Sypha and Alucard, of them is that it really is this story that originates from how it breaks the heart of nothing more and nothing less than Dracula for losing true love, This is something that I like because from a heartbreak is born a terrifying story, violent, without any hope and full of fear, this is what most of the characters must experience and that leads them to make decisions and undertake acts that may affect or save everyone. I hope you watch this series, if there is something I admire along with its three main characters (which are my favorite characters) is the animation, more than anything in the battle scenes, I was completely fascinated, they are amazing, one of the best I've seen, so, if you want to see a good animated story focused on the adult audience, then you must watch Castlevania.
