It's Monday here again but this weekend I finished my The last kingdom series finally after three months, i know this series take too much time to complete maybe because of my poor health and then busy routine but I'm glad it's over now.
Uhtred's journey!!!
One thing I like about the series that Uhtred stayed Alive in the season till last minute because in vikings series' Ragnar died and even his son also died as they showed a long journey but I'm happy that Uhtred stayed with at the last moment of the series and Uhtred always won my heart by supporting others. Although he has his own ambition and he can make a one large army but i like him that he helped others.
He always there to help Alfred's and then his son and daughter. You can say that dream of one unified England was completed by the uhtred as he's the main part of his struggle and without him Alfred's dream never be fulfilled.
End of Lady Aethelflead Era!!!
In the start of the season Lady Aethelflead showed week and sick because she has canker and no one knows about it. Even Uhtred doesn't know about it. When Brida attack on his son and Uhtred daughters, Uhtred asked lady Aethelflead to help by giving him a army but she denied that she can not help because she has her reasons.
Uhted alone with his friends successfully saved his daughter stiorra from Brida but after this success, Uhtred came to know why Lady Aethelflead refuse to help him and he wants to go there with her in her last day's. Here the director make the scene too much emotional that two souls who loves each other but sacrifice their Love for country now at last moment Lady Aethelflead died in Uhtred's arms and her death once again suddenly change the situation because she leads Mercia as a queen.
End of Brida story!!!
Stiorra start to hate too much Brida because of Brida, stiorra lost her husband and now she wants to take revenge. When Uhtred ready to go on the journey to fight with Brida, Uhtred son humbly request to forgive Brida for what she have done with him. But stiora doesn't want to forgive Brida and stiorra knows that like always Uhtred once again spare Brida life.
When Uhtred reach at the place which Brida told him to come alone, they both fight, many flashbacks run on their mind obviously Brida was the girl who he loves for the first time. And Brida asked him to give her death but he said he can not give her death although he can help Brida to come back to that pure girl once again but at the moment stiorra shot her and she died too.
I don't know how book end the story of Brida and Lady Aethelflead but director end the story of both women's in Uhtred's arms, Brida was the first girl he love and Lady Aethelflead was last woman he love.
One last fight to Bebbenburg!!!
That was my favorite part of the season 5 because Uhtred almost give up on the Bebbenburg and he stopped to fight for Bebbenburg because no one was there to give him army, but inner politics of war become as like that once again there's a war in Bebbenburg and king Edward also help Uhtred because he has his own reasons.
But, during the war plan doesn't work like they planned and Uhtred and his friends alone in fort of Bebbenburg but king Edward doesn't wait for Uhtred signal and he attack first and get into a trap. At the last moment, Uhtred saw her daughter stiorra with an army and he beg her daughter to fight not for Edward but for her birthright and for her forebears.
Believe it or not but when the whole Army said To Bebbenburg i felt goosebumps because I was waiting for that moment.
Last moments!!!
Uhtred won the fight for Bebbenburg with his daughter stiorra and saved King Edward from death but opposite party asked their army to burn the fort of Bebbenburg so that there will not any sign of Bebbenburg and when Uhtred saw this, he lost hope but suddenly God with him too that day and it's been raining which saved his fortress.
Again here I feel goosebumps to saw the sudden rain that you'll get what's your if you truly help other's too and God will help you too.

One last lesson!!
Uhtred's goal was to get back his birthright and he fight for it but he never denied to help other's and he put at first others then him. At the end Universe make a way for him to get back what was his.
Final thoughts!!!
Finally Uhtred claim his birthright and everyone cheers at the last but to watch Uhtred journey as a boy to as a Lord was amazing. Finally he get what was his and I can't forget how stiorra show her happiness when the war is over. Argument was made for the longer peace but I really like how they end the season.
